Yandabo Home: "Wonderful remote place by the river"
"If you are looking for authentic beauty and an experience of typical country style village life, Yandabo Home is the place to be. Beautiful brand new lodges , with well trained people, especially the 2 lovely ladies from guest relations, who joined us during the visit of the pottery village next door and to Pan Nyo village across the river for a look around this village famous for its buffaloes. This place gave me , together with Hpa An lodge in the south of the country, the best good feeling of Myanmar. No internet , no Tv, waw... Stayed November 2016, traveled as a couple"Heritage Suites Hotel: "Truly remarkable staff from top to bottom!"
"I acquired a two nights stay at the heritage suites through a silent auction in Shanghai. I was unable make it to Cambodia before the expiration date of the room nights. The general manager was cool enough to extend the time frame and after staying I am more grateful to the management than before! Beautiful rooms, affordable and world class food and beverage! But the true highlight our stay was the hotels staff! All were outstanding in both service and attitude. Rathner , the server by the pool was a standout but really all of them truly seemed to care about the guests here. The adventures office staff set us up with a private boat tour, personal driver, helicopter tour. Take their advice on everything!! They are right! The front desk are all pros and made sure all of our needs were met and checking was seamless. I wish I could remember everyone's name but trust me, they are all very good at what they do. The owners of this property have truly been blessed with a Fantastic staff and I will definitely be back to see them again. The temples are beautiful but the people at this property made this trip special for us. Well done!"Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Best experience in Kosamui"
If you're looking for the best value for your money and for a quiet vacation where you can chill this is the right place for you. The rooms are unique and clean, food is great and the best part is the friendly stuff. We enjoyed every single minute and will definitely come back again!!!Glenburn Tea Estate: "All you need to know about tea"
A fantastic three night stay on the Glenburn Tea Estate. Amazing, sumptuous suite with fabulous views of Kanchanjunga, Sikkim and Darjeeling. Delightful guide lead walks around the tea plantations and a very interesting tour of the tea factory complete with tea tasting. The food was exquisite, the setting dreamlike and the service second to none. The 40 minute jeep drive from the main road down a very bumpy, twisty track descending 3000 ft is not for the feint hearted, but for others it may add to the adventure. The drivers were marvellous. We never fealt unsafe.Tugu Lombok: "Lovely paradise"
Went here one weekend for lunch and to stroll around the place. The moment walked in I fell in love with the beauty and serenity of this place. Food was also good and well cooked. Everything about this hotel is lovely. Perfect for a quiet get away.Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotel I have stayed at"
"I know that sounds like a big wrap but this was a seriously good experience. The hotel is a refurbished mansion (or facsimile of), it's right on the river and has all the charm of old Saigon. The staff are delightful. We were welcomed with a fresh watermelon juice and a smile. We stayed for four nights and had a river view room on the top floor. There are no lifts so if you are not good with stairs make sure you request a lower floor. The room was well appointed to a luxury standard with wide wooden floor boards, a king sized bed and a spacious bathroom. The mini-bar is complementary and there is free wifi. I really appreciated both these features. The pool is about 25 metres and surrounded by comfortable loungers. There is a small gym (but I found it a bit hot for working out). Breakfast everyday is also included and there is a wide selection of European and Vietnamese options to choose from. The staff always greeted you warmly and were very helpful. Villa Song is in District 2 and some way out of the main tourism precinct (District 1) however they provide a free ferry service which takes about 20 minutes several times a day to and from the city centre. It is a terrific way to enjoy the city and means you get to sleep at night! District 1 is so busy all the time it is nice to get away from it and chill near the pool or in the bar. We tried the restaurant for dinner as well and it has a pleasant fusian menu to choose from. There is a spa downstairs which has the usual array of treatments. We had the aromatherapy massage which was very good and set us up nicely for the week. You can book any of the popular tours and they will charge it to your room making organisation a breeze. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. You really do feel at home away from home and that is mostly because of the charming service. We would definitely stay here again."Mie Cafe: "Beautiful and serene restaurant for foodies"
"Our relative from Phnom Penh recommended this restaurant and I am so glad we got a reservation during our stay in Siem Reap. The setting is an old Khmer Villa, beautiful garden and ponds with Koi fish. We sat on the lower floor, which I think is the better choice. We started with a cocktail to give us time to study the interesting menu. The menu included several local twists on traditional foods as well as several fish dishes from the nearby Tonle Sap. We selected a combination of fish and meat dishes and they were all good. Picking a favorite is tricky, but the risotto with fish was very popular. The kids had fish fingers and chicken nuggets, all made from fresh ingredients and popular with the children. For dessert we had ice cream, fried bananas, and the popular chocolate cake. My son got most of it into his stomach, but the rest of the chocolate cake was in his face as our full and happy group left this great restaurant. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant in Siem Reap."Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing place to stay"
We spent 4 nights and enjoyed every moments . Our stay included the new year eve night and we were delighted to enjoy the staff entertainments with all staff children. Lovely place and memories. When cold in the room we enjoyed a fire . Food was great4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Most Amazing Trip of All Time"
"This hidden treasure is amazing. The view was spectacular. I got to experience the life in the nature. The room is very beautiful. The staff and foods are on point. They are very environmental friendly. To save the environment is always their priority. The kayak, the pickup boat the view of the place made me never wanted to leave this wonderful place ever. More than that, they are not just business people, they help the community to be aware of the environmental issue, .... Community saver!"Jing’s Residence: "Exceptional charm and luxury In an ancient city"
After staying in wonderful luxury hotels in three cities in China, our arrival at Jing's residence was a delightful and very satisfying change. From the moment we stepped inside this lovingly restored boutique hotel we knew we were in for a treat. And what a treat it was! From the a decor that featured beautiful objects everywhere we looked and the rooms that provided every comfort to the charming dining room and terrace and well stocked bar, we felt well cared for and well fed. There was always a special surprise - such as the bag of honey dates waiting in the room to appease traveller's fatigue or the lovely handmade object left on the turned down bed at night. And the staff was incredibly cheerful and helpful. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.
