Muang La Lodge: "Unexpectedly delightful"
The management is superb, each meal delicious, serene location in the countryside and wonderful staff. Also, the massages are special and the hot springs a surprise. We heartily recommend Muang La Resort to all.Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"
We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking the private beach and sea. The room was luxurious, the staff were attentive and our over night stay was romantic. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant staff, who forget to bring us our drinks and the food wasn't that great. Over all a fabulous place for that romantic get away.Tugu Lombok: "Best friend wedding"
"Thank you so much to all the management and staff for a wonderful stay with the Tugu family. My best friends got maried on this lovely resort. I was blown away by the buty of this place. Every thing was just perfect. The rooms are just amazing with outdoor bathrooms. The beeches sublime. Snorkeling is great and all you need is provided. 2 pools are available for you to enjoy and I mean really enjoy. The art in the rooms and doted all over the complex are amazing. Every day I would discover something new. Once again A BIG thank you to all the staff at Tugu for making such an inportent day in my friends life a wonderful memory that I'm shor they will never forget. I know I won't. And of course thank you Chef your food was just perfect. "Reverie Siam: "Nice stop for relax"
Travelling north of Thailand we stopped at the Reverie Siam resort in Pai. All service from check-in to check-out was attentive and friendly. Very spacious room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was very good! A perfect stop for anyone looking for fresh mountain air and peaceful serenity within Pai.Rachamankha: "Beautiful"
"My mum and I stayed here during our first trip to Thailand and it was the perfect introduction to Chiang Mai. The staff were so friendly and hospitable, and the room and grounds were breathtaking. Good location, walking distance to a lot of temples and the night markets. The only down side was that the walk at night is not very well lit. I will definitely be back when I return to Chiang Mai."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Wonderful eco-lodge"
"It was an awesome experience to stay in this lodge and wake up every day to jump from the bed to the river in the middle of the rainforest. The landscape is beautiful. And the installations of the hotel are perfectly adapted to it and takes care about the environment. To be able to be in bed and listen all the jungle sounds during the night is just amazing. Please, take a kayak or a surfboard and see the sunset. This lodge totally worth our 5 hours road trip....It has an amazing location, installations and lovely staff! We did all the tours with the hotel, and all the team and guides were really nice. We had a great time. We visited the falls, kayak some kms back, and even saw fireflies on the sunset cruise. Kayaks, surfboards, books, board games are always available. They prepared a vegetarian menu for me. The food was nice every single day. They fixed our transfers from PP and then to Sihanoukville with nice drivers and cars, and check on us all the time. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Samanea Beach Resort: "expat hangout"
kep and nearby Kampot are wonderful places to visit. Samanea Resort is set up totally to be by yourself, lovely pool and great view. it does however lack a bar. I like to sit in a bar area, not just be servedAmata Lanna: "Stunning oasis near old toen"
"I cannot say enough about the beauty, tranquility and service provided at Amata Lanna Village. Everything about the place was excellent. Especially noteworthy, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Before we left, the manager (we think it was the manager) even traveled to get us coffee at the farm because it was the best coffee available. The location was decent. It was an easy tuk tuk or cab ride to town. There was a small market nearby and coffee too but hours for the coffee shop (off site) was not predictable. My only complaint was that the walls to the bathroom had decorative cut outs so privacy was limited. It didn’t matter to us as a couple. Do not hesitate to book this place!"Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Perfect in every way"
We loved Cabochon Hotel. From our initial dealings over email to our warm welcome on arrival, the staff looked after our family and ensured our stay was stress free. Suites are beautiful and we had a connecting door through to our sons suite which was very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good quality and tasty, beds are comfy and excellent quality bedlinen. A highlight was the swimming pool which was always quiet. We returned for one more night on our way back home and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was even better - light filled and larger balcony. We have nothing to be negative and we think we are pretty fussy. The Samar: " Something else"
" Siem Reap itself is something else. You can feel certain peace and tranquility immidiately after you land there. When you check in to hotel Samar Villa & Spa, this feeling of serenity and relaxation comes to it's full power. It is situated just a bit outside of the city centre limits, which is actually great. Tuk tuk is affordable so a 4,5 minute ride to the Siem Reap centre is really not a problem. On a contrary, nice way to cool down after a hot day in Angkor temples, before you step into the Samar swimming pool. Check in procedure is really smooth and relaxing, with nice welcome drinks and towels provided for all. Hotel is not big, so even if they are full, you are almost all the time alone and you feel like you have it all just for yourself. Staff are very nice and provide help but privacy in the same time, which we appreciated highly. Rooms are so nice, in french colonial style, maintained well, decorated with style. Breakfasts were so delicious, there is no buffet, but you can order your daily choice and they will prepare it for you. Very tasty. Some of the comments before were negative (eg maintainance, insect spraying,...). We found them not to be true, and as far as insects are concerned, of course they have to spray, but as the end result you can have nice relaxing evenings without bugs and mosquitos. They do it during the day, when all/most guests are out, exploring temples.... All in all, i really hope me and my family will come back to Cambodia and Siem Reap soon. Then we will stay in Samar again for sure! It is for every recommendation."
