Mathis Retreat: "Quelle Merveille"

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. What about as the superlatives are many. We stayed in the bungalow and what comfort .... it is a quiet intimate place a splendid view of rice fields. Possibility to join the center of Ubud on foot in 20mn through rice fields and villages. I highly recommend The breakfast is fabulous and the meal restaurant Terracotta Go there with confidence

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "The Top notch Jewel of POKHARA"

"This hotel is super impressive situated on a Hillside of Royal Mountain amazing views of the Mountains Hills listening the Birds music the beautiful individual villas are just stunning as good as the View the service provided was unbeatable to any where else that I were experienced in Nepal food was well presented & tasted the Best ever lovely courtyard to sit on & listen Marcus's stories & contributions for the tourism industries of Nepal is really appreciable & this lodge deserve to be the Top notch High end resort apart from just a Hotel to visit it is very homely & so authentic this property is beyond any stars if you would consider what star this could be look at the Stars on the skies at Night & Count yes indeed a full star Hotel Hands Up to Tiger mountain lodge for Keeping its glory truly a place to visit once in a life time would love to return any time soon THANK YOU ISWOR BASNET manger & all the team really appreciated "

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Absolute Bliss"

"We stayed for two nights at the end of our Cambodia trip and it was the perfect place to chill out completely before our epic 36 hour journey home!! As we approached the lodges I couldn't believe how beautiful the setting was its far more beautiful to your own eyes than any of the photos show. We had a lovely welcome and got all the information we needed for our stay and I couldn't wait to get to our tent. We were in West 4 ( there are six tents on each side so we had pretty views from both sides of our balcony ) The interior of the tents is far bigger than I expected and I adored the bathroom :-) as mentioned in previous reviews there is no air conditioning but there is a ceiling fan and two stand alone fans and the room was way cooler than I had expected it to be. Each lodge has a private deck with table and chairs and two sunbeds and we decided that as our time was short we would just spend it relaxing so thats what we did one perfect day internet free just lazing around. One of the staff visit in the afternoon to show you the dinner menu there is set soup then starter and dessert and three choices of main its very good value at $25 per person but there is also an a la carte menu if you prefer that. The food was lovely very nicely presented and the waiting staff were so nice in fact shout out to all staff they were without exception lovely smiling people :-) Breakfast was also very nice esp the homemade pineapple jam and the smiley pancakes :-) oh and the bacon so good :-) I loved the water glasses made out of wine bottles in the tents so enquired if I could buy one they only had one left with a picture of a pangolin on it I had never heard of this animal and one of the staff ( sorry I cant remember his name ) took time to tell me all about this endangered creature . I will be dreaming of 4 rivers everytime I use it :-) Best wishes to you all for continued success and who knows we may return one day and if we do we will stay longer :-)"

Villa Song: "2 nights in heaven"

Beautifully appointed boutique hotel, stunning grounds, friendly staff away from the hustle of the city. Very clean and immaculate with lovely breakfast. Free speed boat into district one was just the icing on the cake

Supanniga Eating Room: "Beautiful food and setting"

Loved this restaurant. Dined there twice. Unbelievably service and amazing food. The Beef slow cooked curry was especially great

Bali Jiwa Villa: "Bali’s best kept secret"

"Bali Jiwa Villa, located in the Ubud district is a hidden gem. Situated in the small village of Desa Kelusa on the outskirts of Ubud, it is set among beautiful rice fields in total privacy. It is a little hard to find, however this is what makes it an unique getaway for a couple looking for a romantic retreat or just a place far away from the usual crowds. There are two separate villas that are mirror images of each other, both with the same wonderful view, yet both completely separate and private. The room is colorful and tastefully decorated with one huge bed in the middle and comfy seats all around. The bathroom is large and modern and very well appointed. Each villa has it’s own pool that sits overlooking the rice paddies, but still offers privacy as it sits up above the rice fields. You can see people working in the fields sometimes, which gives you an unique feeling of being part of the village life that goes by each day. Bali Jiwa Villa has to be one of Ubud’s best kept secrets for those people who want to discover somewhere quite unique and special and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to experience the true Balinese countryside. Sea Dance Resort: "Awesome holiday!"

"We we're a family of five staying in a two bedroom pool villa for 10 days in August. We had an awesome time at Seadance Resort. It is a secluded and tranquil place. We rented scooters for the time we were there thus could explore most of the island's beaches, waterfalls, restaurants etc with ease. That gave us the best of both worlds - busy days and coming to the serenity of Seadance in the evenings. Some days we just spent at the pool drinking awesome cocktails (passionfruit mojito was my favorite) and relaxing. Free piña colada ice lollies was a bonus. Friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you especially to Faith, Helen and Poy for adding that more personal touch to your already awesome service as well. We will definitely return to Seadance resort in the future."

Jing’s Residence: "A wonderful experience in the old city of Pingyao"

"A truly wonderful experience. Jings is located in a traditional Pingyao building. When you arrive the outside is a timber facing with large solid wooden doors. In reception there is a very strong feel of wood. The reception staff could not be more professional, helpful and caring. All staff spoke English. The rooms are set around two courtyards and these grey brick buildings have a very original feel. Our room had a large double bed on a raised area, sofa, chair, and desk with stool. The bathroom has a shower. The room has a mini bar (free of charge), mini safe, tea/coffee making facilities and very quiet air conditioning. Breakfast served in the dining room was very good and had local as well as western options. Nice and tranquil. On the first floor of the main reception dining area there is a bar and reading room. Afternoon tea was served there (included in the room rate). The hotel is just a few moments stroll from a host of restaurants and tourist shops. I am very pleased to recommend this residence if you want a truly authentic experience in most pleasant surroundings. Thank you to all the staff team for making our stay so enjoyable."

"located by the lake settled on contempory house Seeds is one of the best restaurant in town the ambiance is nice with the open kitchen simple furnitures and great lighting display service is efficient food is really good we tasted the foie gras, raviolis, beaf with fruits, creative receipes with fresh amd tasty ingredients of course it s little bit expansive for Yangon but it s worth it"
