Rachamankha: "Amazing hotel retreat right inside four walls of Chang mai"

Review by: Matthew B | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is centrally located in Chang Mai and is perfect for couples looking to escape and relax after long days of exploring. The hotel has the bones and charm of being built in the 14th century with all the modern conveniences. When we come back there is no doubt where we will stay.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Colonial style hotel in great neighborhood"

Review by: Fem123 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful colonial style building chock full of quirky antics and books on interior design. We loved the living room and porch. The rooms are simple, but clean and you will find all you need. Just not very handy that some of the rooms have a bath tube only. Palm, the receptionist was very helpful in booking a tour for us ahead of our stay. And the cocktails served in the bar are awesome. Just a bit strange that the nuts we bought ourselves and that we asked the bar tender to serve us in a bowl were also given to other guests the same evening while we were still there. The neighborhood is great. The subway station is very close and next to the Emquartier mall. Plenty of nice restaurants and independent coffee places in the area. Definitely the better part of Sukhimvit road. If you like boutique hotels, this is a great one. Room Tip: Rooms have either showers are a bath tube. Having just a bath might not be very handy if you want to..."

Satri House: "An oasis of coolness and calm."

Review by: russell p | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Within the bustling tourist hotspot that is Luang Prabang, Satri House is an oasis of coolness and calm. With its beautiful gardens, cool fountains and pools; with its delightful spaces formed between and around the buildings which make up the various parts of the hotel; it is indeed like being in a very special retreat. The most charming and helpful staff create the feeling of being in a grand English Country House and they are both inconspicuous and yet always available to meet your every need, Breakfasts and dining experiences are memorable. A truly wonderful experience. (...) Nevertheless, staying at Satri House is without doubt a fascinating and most enjoyable experience -- albeit an expensive one. Highly recommended."

Maison Polanka: "An authentic oasis"

Review by: Joy E | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had the Green Room which was large enough to accommodate a couple with an adult daughter. It also had a large porch over looking the pool in a beautiful walled garden. It was a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but close enough to town for an easy visit. The room is authentic looking with beautiful art, comfortable beds and terrific large bathroom. The staff is amazing! They took such good care of us from arranging tours, restaurants, spa services (try the blind therapist shiatsu massage) and tuk tuks to town. Breakfast is included with terrific fruit and juices. I love the Cambodian fried rice with egg on top. We ate lunch and dinner there most nights as well. Made our way through the menu and loved everything we tried. 4 nights was the perfect amount of time to relax and to see the temples. Room Tip: There are only 6 rooms in the property. All are good."

Jing’s Residence: "Wonderful, feel like at home"

Review by: Elo-Tom59 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stay 3 nights in the hotel, in a courtyard room (the romantic one) and everything was wonderfull. Rooms are so beautiful, well-equiped, clean and very quiet ! All the staff speak english and can easily help you. The breakfast is so big, with chinese meal and also european meal (try their pancakes !!!). The restaurant is amazing like all the plates. The chief is very good and you can practice with him during a cooking class ! We really appreaciate our stay and will be happy to come back again in Jing's Residence !"

David’s Kitchen: "A true definition of Dinner Experience"

Review by: Cauê H | Source: Trip Advisor
I had never felt so incredibly welcome at any other restaurant in the world! Since the first second I got there, everything was absolutely fantastic! David himself and all the staff put on an enormous effort to make sure everyone in the restaurant is having the best experience a dinner could possibly be. Of course, the food is splendid! I can say without any doubt that I had the best dinner experience of my life! Hats off to these guys!

Tugu Lombok: "Excellent Hotel"

Review by: anairi8 | Source: Trip Advisor
"I use TripAdvisor a lot to check hotels reviews but rarely I write a review myself. This time I decided to write one since I really think Tugu was an exceptional place. I travel a lot for work so I know many hotels all over the world and I have to say that the service we got here was the best I have ever had. Everyone there, from management to waiters to housekeeping tried always to satisfy all our needs, and traveling with 5 kids I have to say that we had a lot of needs ... They were always helpful, always smiling. What a nice 4 days we had...thank you! The hotel itself and the surroundings are amazing (one of the most beautiful beaches I have been in Indonesia, and by far better that any of the Bali ones). Food was delicious too. Indeed a 5 stars hotel. If you plan to go to Lombok I highly recommend this hotel."

Sukoon Houseboat: "Perfect choice for Dal Lake"

Review by: Mountainmann | Source: Trip Advisor
We planned to spend 4 nights on a houseboat on Lake Dal and spent much time reading TA reviews and reviews from other sites. We selected the Sukoon based on these reviews and the new construction as we feared older boats may have a musty and damp smell. After looking at so many other boats during our 5 days on Lake Dal we are sure we made the correct decision. The service was professional, the rooms as described -- new. clean and well appointed. The food was good and the meal service superb. Customer service was a high point. A real plus for the Sukoon was the location at the far end of the lake away from almost all houseboats. This is important as most boats are located in a chock-a-block fashion with little if any privacy. They arranged our tours and other needs. We would definitely choose the Sukoon when we return and return we will as Srinagar is a fabulous destination that deserves more the 5 days. Our only regret was not having arranged airport pick up ahead of time. The airport arrival area is chaotic to say the least due to security procedures and most taxi drivers had no idea where the Sukoon was located --- there are well over 500 houseboats on the lake so this would be expected.
