Tugu Bali: "Best experience"

Review by: Marishaflynn | Source: Trip Advisor
I can't say enough about this lovely hotel... I thought about it for days after we moved on to another part of Bali. The location is perfect in canngu and the room was so beautiful. Also the staff and service was truly amazing. I've never been treated better by a hotel. If you want an unforgettable and unique experience in Bali this hotel is for you. You won't regret it!!! It's worth every penny!

Glenburn Tea Estate: "Heaven on Earth"

Review by: snazzyaz | Source: Trip Advisor
It's a four hour drive from Bagdogra airport and a very bumpy one at that, but the moment you arrive you forget all of that. The tea estate accommodation is amazing. I stayed in the Singalila suite in the bungalow and it was to die for. The interior design was immaculate and the view from my window of Kanchenjunga in the morning heavenly. Food was fantastic. So quiet and peaceful, a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the cities.

Slow Villas and Spa: "A luxurious modern oasis in Gilli Air. An amazing place to slow down and relax"

Review by: lagarconnerose | Source: Trip Advisor
"I should mention that prior to our arrival to Gilli Air, I was in constant communication with the Villas, trying to arrange for transportation from Amed to the island. Bali and the surrounding area was experience heavy tropical rain storms and no boats were travelling between Bali and Lombok. Juli and her team were extremely responsive to my questions and concerns, and were extremely helpful in assisting us. The provided many options and recommendations. I knew from the start we were going to be in good hands and have an excellent experience with Slow Gilli Air (aka Slow Villas). We travelled from Amed to Gilli Air via the Freebird Express speedboat. It dropped us off on the shores of Gilli Air, and then took a cidone (horse and carriage) to Slow Gilli Air. Upon our arrival, we were given a warm welcome by Juli and her staff. The entire team was extremely professional, accommodating, attentive and friendly. Slow Villas took was breathtaking from the beginning. We were shown to our private villa and it was magical. Everything has been thought out and attention has been paid to the smallest of details. To start, the map of the island, full of personalized handwritten recommendations was truly a nice touch. The villa comes equipped with a kitchenette, an outdoor bathroom, A/C, a memory stick loaded with a selection of movies, a private pool and outdoor sitting area. They even provide you with stylish straw sun hats to protect you from the sun and flashlights for walking around at night. In addition, they provide a complimentary 30 minute spa treatment at the property's spa. The spa treatment was so great that we booked second visit. The complimentary breakfast was incredible. Breakfast is delivered to the villa every morning and features fresh produce and a wide range of healthy menu options, we were overwhelmed (in a good way) by the spread. Featuring a modern bohemian rustic vibe, it's really charming and really encourages you to wind down (hence the name and philosophy of the place) and relax. The location is just off the beaten track. A secluded beach is a short walk away. There are bikes available to rent, which we took full advantage of. It's a relatively small island, but walking it sometimes proved to be just a tad too far. Biking is definitely the way to go. Honestly, we enjoyed our time at the villa so much, we tried to spend as much time there as possible. It was everything we wanted and more. We would definitely stay here again. This is truly a Gilli Air gem. Room Tip: This is a small property with only 10 private villas."

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "A peaceful Oasis"

Review by: daga65 | Source: tripadvison.com
"This beautiful hotel is set out of the bustling city of Saigon, located on the riverside. It is about a 20 minutes boat trip into district one of HCMC (provided free of charge by the hotel at selected times during e day). Approx. 50 mins drive from the airport (depending on time of day/traffic). The hotel is quiet and offers a relaxing and peaceful escape from the bustle and noise of the centre of HCMC. Very friendly staff, clean, large room (top floor), lovely pool area. Restaurant at back of hotel over looking river, lovely setting, food very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and would recommend this for anyone wanting a retreat from the manic city centre. "

Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Amazing"

Review by: CLPUk | Source: Trip Advisor
This is the quite likely the best place I have ever stayed. The service and attention to detail was exceptional. This was our first time in Laos with friends and we felt we really got to see and do so much in the area on a four night stay. Any less than four nights would not give you enough time to appreciate the lodge. The visits to the local villages were fascinating. The food at Muang La was brilliant and even though it was much cooler mornings and evenings, fire pits were brought to our table so we were warm. A truly beautiful place and wonderful staff.

Maison Polanka: "On point design boutique"

Review by: arieller | Source: Trip Advisor
Charming boutique hotel with fantastic design and grounds. Well located and helpful staff. The restaurant itself was a bit mediocre, but the setting was so special that it didn't matter. The spa was also quite enjoyable. Given the price compared to some of the other design hotels in the area, I would definitely choose Maison Polanka again.

Babe: "Amazing view, amazing food"

Review by: Mark L | Source: Trip Advisor
The restaurant is on the 11th floor of an office block, and has uninterrupted views of the twin towers and KL skyline. Everyone in our party took pictures, including the locals. The food is modern Japanese. We had the tasting menu which had some great items. However we ordered a couple from the menu and they were fantastic too. If you are there for a birthday then let them know - the card you get is unique

Dewakan: "Amazing restaurant – GO!"

Review by: katieluce | Source: Trip Advisor
"When we watched John Torode's Malaysia programme back in the UK , he showed this place and so we booked it for our last night in KL. I have to admit as it got closer I got concerned that we had made a mistake. No malaysian we spoke to in KL had heard of the place and it soon became apparent that it was on the outskirts of town, a good hour away from central KL and forms part of the KDU campus. I need not have worried however. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The service was attentive, the team enthusiastic about the food and the food itself was inventive and interesting. We had the 17 course tasting menu and every dish was different and innovative in its use of traditional Malay ingredients. Notable dishes included a perfectly rendered crispy duck skin over succulent rare duck meat, as well as the almost Heston Blumenthal like childish fun of putting together the slow baked red snapper in broth dish. There was only one dish we didn't particularly enjoy, which was the prawn dish and we found the texture of the raw prawns a bit odd, but it was clever cooking nonetheless with the flavour combination. This place is worthy of a Michelin star. My only concern is that being so far out of town and having only 10 tables, it is not getting enough clientele. So please, please if you enjoy inventive and innovative cuisine, go to this restaurant."

Talabgaon Castle: "Iconic India"

Review by: kitten1051 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Beautiful heritage hotel. Extremely peaceful with helpful friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother. The hotel has recently been refurbished, but retains it's original features. Bedrooms are all en-suite with his and her washbasins and all modern conveniences. On arrival we were met by the owner who was extremely welcoming. There is a substantial pool. Food was well prepared and staff most attentive during a buffet dinner. Room Tip: Rooms are all quiet due to village location. Many first floor rooms look down on a fountained courtya..."
