tugu malang: "Luxurious hotel with impressive staff"
"We were so pleased with our several day stay at the Tugu Malang. It is located very close to the train station. The hotel is like being in a 'luxurious' museum. We were so enthralled with all of the antiquities and beautifully designed rooms. Even if you don't stay here....pay for the tour....it's completely worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent! There is also a bakery/coffee shop associated with the hotel. Food was wonderful....spiced nicely....varied offerings and prices. The staff treated us like ""family"". Our favorite waitress would have a table saved for us by the pool with our names written on a leaf in silver pen. They think of every detail We recommend taking the time to have their free tea offering in the afternoon. The spa massage was also very relaxing. Have them call you a bicycle tuktuk and cycle around town some evening. Definitely stay here if you have the opportunity! "Flower Island: "Simply Amazing"
"If you are looking for a place to truly relax, that is off the beaten path, and want to be surrounded by friendly mellow guests and attentive, caring staff, then this is the place for you. Flower Island is not like the other crowded resorts in Palawan. This is truly a place where you will chill and relax. For those that can’t sit still there is snorkeling (great reef just steps from your room), kayaks, SUPs, pearl farm tour and trekking around the island to keep you occupied. Definitely worth the time and investment. I highly recommend this place!!"Tugu Lombok: "A place to unwind, forget the hustle and bustle……relax!"
"We wanted a place in the warm tropics with green gardens, a beach to comb, comfortable accommodation away from the madding crowd. Tugu ticked all our boxes and then some....the heart of Tugu most definitely is the wonderful compliment of staff. We were really made to feel most welcome, nothing was too much trouble for anyone....a very big thank you to you all. "Tugu Bali: "tranquil, beautiful hotel with impeccable service"
Absolutely loved this hotel. So well looked after by the gorgeous staff. Fabulous food with breakfast served anywhere anytime in your choice of private enclaves around the hotel. It was a peaceful & beautifully appointed hotel that has tons of Indonesian charm - stunning gardens & antiques. Husband & son were happy to go out surfing, but I didn't want to leave the tranquility of Tugu.Mudanwan Villa: "Relax"
"Here is completely relaxed did not control a parked five hungry have food do not be afraid to ride a bicycle can go to the beach Pool Spa can also let you enjoy fishing "Tugu Bali: "Bali Transcendent"
"This is a wonderful hotel. The Tugu brand is well known in Indonesia for its sense and mix of history, local culture and design. Not to mention excellent food and understated but attentive service. This property has those attributes in spades. The Tugu Bali is perfect for people that like luxury and privacy and interesting, crusty surroundings - at a reasonable price I might add. Don't even think about staying here if you are into 5 stars and chrome and marble and buffet restaurants and big gyms and concierges that can get you into Mozaic or the Oasis Beach Club bikini parties on short notice - because you will hate it here. It is located, by the way, in Canggu, which was a sleepy place when the hotel opened, but is now the hippest area in Bali. Being surrounded by hip has its disadvantages, but also advantages - for example, the Tugu is opposite the best bar in Bali (possibly in Indonesia) and just down the road from one of the world's best seafood restaurants. Fortunately, Tugu guests are immune to the disadvantages (hipster crowds, beach clubs, bad restaurants, noise). The rooms here are oases - I know this is a cliche in hotel-speak, but it happens to be true in this case. In our room here, we were beautifully cocooned and felt entirely isolated from the rest of the world in the best possible way. Our small private garden and plunge pool were green and perfect. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. And I have never have thought of a bathroom as being sexy until I saw our bathroom in room 109. The common areas are also lovely. Big and spectacular in the case of the wood-pavilion-ed lobby, small and cool in the case of the pool, expansive and comfortable in the case of the beach-side garden. The service is great - the way I like it at least. Unobtrusive, but ever present. Bali is an ecosystem with deep wells of cultural fascination and mystery. If you want to immerse yourself in this Bali for a few days (not the boring Bali of Nusa Dua, or the Bali of cheap clothes and cheap beer and self-conscious bistro restaurants in Kuta and Seminyak), but not travel all the way to the north or east of the island, the Tugu Hotel is about the best compromise I know"The Hue House: "Dinner"
Probably the best meal so far in Saigon this beautiful Vietnamaurrant sits on top of mastr building .Quite difficult to find but well worth the effort.Xcellnt food and staff very friendly price rang very reasonableNimmu House: "Un endroit enchanteur"
Hotel Samanea is one of the better hotels in Kep, it is beautiful and charming, however the description of having a white sanded beach was quite misleading. The hotel did not have a beach perse, only a sanded area with a water front. The hotel needs to be sprayed for mosquitoes, they were literally everywhere and we were getting bitten so much. Even in our own room they managed to get in to bite us. It was very uncomfortable. The staff tried to do as much as they could but they were not successful at it and they just let the dead mosquitoes out there. they did not clean after they sprayed.it was quite weird. The bed was a bit hard and the freestanding tub took hours to fill out but the room was very beautiful. They have all the elements in place, they just need to master the level of comfort for their guests. The breakfast was excellent!Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant and sophisticated"
"We loved this immaculate hotel. French colonial chic, beautiful garden restaurant on the river beautifully lit at night for great dining ambience. The food was excellent and the standard of service throughout the hotel was super-friendly and efficient. A great plus is its peaceful location on the river with great views of the city, although that means that it is a bit of a trek to the centre. However, the hotel provides a free shuttle boat which makes it an enjoyable journey, and anyway, with a hotel like this, we were more than happy to enjoy the pool and dine there. Highly recommended. Would definitely book here again. Room Tip: Go for a river view room"
