The Apsara Rive Droite: "Tweede bezoek weer top"

Review by: Loes G | Source: Trip Advisor
"Waarom alle toeristen naarde buren gaan is ons een raadsel. Wij hebben onze vakantieregel gebroken (nooit 2x naar zelfde resto) met goede afloop. Weer heerlijk gegeten, lekkere amuse, gezellige bediening en top setting tafel aan de rivier. go !!!! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tugu Bali: "Amazing hotel, local feel in a very touristy zone"

Review by: Isabel C | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved this hotel. The location is great, across the lawn you've got the beach, the pool is lovely, set in a magical garden. The hotel food is fantastic, highly recommend you take a cooking class, I loved it and learnt a lot. Our room was so romantic, the "open air" bathroom was an unique experience, even during monsoon season. The hotel history and decor are stunning and the whole experience, great staff, was really worthwhile.

Reverie Siam: "A slice of paradise"

Review by: alphachar | Source: Trip Advisor
"In 2014 we visited Reverie Siam just after they opened for one glass of wine ... and promised ourselves we'd come back to stay one day. So this holiday, we stayed there for just one night as a special treat on our holiday and it was even more wonderful than we thought it would be! The room (we were upgraded from a standard room to a villa at no extra cost) was stunning. The bathtub is literally bigger than our entire bathroom at home! The service was exceptional ... especially considering our grubby backpacker aesthetic. If you're looking for a treat, a retreat into another world - I recommend a stay here!"

Misool Eco Resort: "FABULOUS"

Review by: Cindy R | Source: Trip Advisor
I can't say enough about this place or the people that run it and work there. The waters are AMAZING for snorklers. Everything about this place was perfect! It was an experience of a life time. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

REVERIE SIAM: "A wonderful escape"

Review by: backpackinchef | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We stayed 2 nights in the family villa and absolutely loved it. The thought and style put into the room was obvious from the cool little pieces or art to the location of plenty of power points and towel racks. Staff was fantastic and the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Also the little things, like a cell phone for our use while in town and the free shuttle service from the property to town were greatly appreciated and showed us a new level of customer service. We stayed during low season so the rate was very reasonable, if you can afford it, the value for money here is as good as I've ever had! "

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Best lodge in Pokhara… if not the whole of Nepal"

Review by: tylervanderveer | Source: Trip Advisor
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge was by far the best place we stayed in our month long trip to Nepal. Marcus was a fantastic host, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. The lodge itself is beautiful and the view will definitely make you want to outstay your visit!

Rachamankha: "Perfect choice for a short getaway"

Review by: Maura G | Source: Trip Advisor
"Love this hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai. It was designed under Chinese influences. Rooms are comfortable. Some rooms have little porches. The pool is nice and quiet - there is 'service' (food/drink) around the pool area but the staff is not visible. The breakfast is lovely. You get a variety of choices from the menu."

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Beautiful old world feel"

Review by: Snooze6 | Source: Trip Advisor
What a serene and peaceful place just minutes away from town. Have a massage or eat lovely local food overlooking a lotus pond. Loved it and didn't want to leave. Staff were very attentive and friendly as well as helpful. Wish we had stayed longer.

Satri House: "Authentic Experience"

Review by: gfinchina | Source: Trip Advisor
"Satri House delivers on its promise of being ""a historic destination, a unique design"". The original house was run as a hotel since 2002 and was extended in 2008 reflecting the original architecture. We stayed over Songkran for 4 nights and were warmly welcomed by Jacques Mury (General Manager) and Navinda Imbubpa (Guest Experience Manager). On arrival to the room, we were impressed by the handwritten welcome note from Jacques. Whilst it is true that the hotel is located close to a fairground (the source of techno music correctly referred to in the previous review), we understand that Luang Prabang is always tranquil and that the volume we experienced was limited to this New Year festival only. We reflected on the importance of a pre-visit study. Notwithstanding this, Satri House is an amazing hotel. The renovation mirrors the original house perfectly. The Satri House team is attentive and caring. Key takeaways: # the staff is incredibly warm and greet you with sincerity # the housekeeping and gardener teams are amazing # the breakfast is plentiful. We recommend the freshly made noodle soup # the restaurant is terrific. We ate in many restaurants during our visit and will review them separately. We found the quality of the food at the Satri House restaurant to be equal to our better dining experiences # we love the two pools. Whilst we agree that the main pool could do with more lounges, we note that there are additional lounges at the second pool # the hotel is not located in the centre of the (small) city of Luang Prabang. It is in fact a 15-20 min walk to the city centre. The hotel does provide complimentary lockable bicycles with baskets that will get you there in 5-8 minutes One suggestion is to resolve the positioning of the Google Maps location pin. I am confident that when return to Satri House outside of the New Year festival, we will rate our experience as excellent."

Satri House: "A treasure"

Review by: JACL770 | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.
