Anopura Resort: "Heaven on Earth"
I have travelled extensively all over India for more than two decades and never come across a more perfect haven - the most wonderful respite after hectic days at JLF and the hurly burly of Jaipur. It is so rare to feel so spoiled in such an unspoiled setting of invigorating sweet air and such pleasing aesthetics. Ishwar and his team are without parallel for their genuine hospitality, highest standards of solicitous service and sheer warmth. There is so much to admire about this sanctuary - the pleasing artistic details, the supreme comfort, the cosseted sense of privacy and privilege and the most outstanding food.I cannot commend this place enough as somewhere to come to be at the still centre of the world, to rest and revive. One night is not long enough and even before leaving, yearn to return. Congratulations to everyone involved in this exceptional boutique project.Heritage Suites Hotel: "Gorgeous hotel"
We had a great stay at the Heritage. Our room (which was upgraded) was really spacious open plan with a huge bed and bath. It was really peaceful and a nice retreat after busy day visiting temples. The staff were helpful and polite. The pool was nice a cool and great sun loungers to relax on. Only downside was the hotel did not have everything from the menu. Highly recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again when next in Siem Reap.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Heritage and cultural luxury"
"Built around 1840 and now providing public accommodation, this is the luxury with character missing in today's 5 (or more) star hotels. From the old fashioned door key to the huge rooms furnished to transport you back in time, the centre open courtyard with photos of those from the past or the 'day beds' along the courtyard wings to relax in, this is 'what's old is new again'. The bathroom and shower facilities are modern 'western' but still set in the decor of yesteryear. Breakfast à la cart can be a little slow but gives time to relax, enjoy the ambience and enjoy the many self serve offerings. Located in the old town area, further history and the delights of Georgetown are just out the gate"The River Resort: "Great place to stay in South of Laos, close to Vat Phong!"
Wow, this is The place to be in the South of Laos! Along the mighty Mekong, great rooms, very friendly staff, good restaurant with a amazing view on the river. Value for money too! Very close to Vat Phong. Highly recommended. The Cabochon Hotel: "Best restaurant ever"
Amazing food & great prices. The atmosphere is amazing and so romantic. The food is delicious. Everything we ordered was so good. Also the interior of the restaurant is so classy and elegant. After dinner we had some tea, in one of the tea rooms. I had such an amazing experience and will definitely be backTiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A fab place to hang boots and watch the change of light across mountains…."
This is a truly wonderful place to arrive at after a week of trekking (with sometimes hilarious hospitality conditions!). Or indeed just to arrive at after the hurly burly of Kathmandu! Marcus oversees a superb hotel with glorious views, beautiful lodge-style rooms and simple home-cooking. It is with some reluctance that I left, and to my disappointment now back home, there is no thoughtfully placed hot water bottle in bed at the end of the day, or mosquito net drawn to envelop me and my dreams.Inle Princess Resort: "Nature and quiet"
"You have to sail in a small canoe for a few minutes before getting there, it's very quiet and beatiful surrranded by nature. We were there in a cold season so at night they make a fireplace in room which keep youwarm all night long. All villas have a huge window and terrase to look at the lake and rest. There are planty of birds around and night is full of ""singing "" frogs! There are mosquitos not too many, that's normal at lake side! Dinner is served in hotel restaurant and it s veru tasty as the breakfast a'la carte. Going to town for food is nonsense. All staff is doing their best to keep you in good mood. PS. Dear Lauren if you are rude maybe the manager is rude too!"Heritage Suites: "Simply the Best"
Spent three nights at the Heritage Suites Hotel in August 2017. From the moment you arrive you will not be disapointed!! We stayed in a Bungalow Suite which even has it's own steam room. The food is fantastic and is one of the best Restaurant in Siem Reap. We also did the ATV private bike tour, which was a little bit expensive. The Spa is also excellent and well worth a visit. However, what makes this Hotel is the Staff a true credit to the Hotel.....Tugu Lombok: "Amazing"
"My husband and 10 yr daughter visited this hotel for 5 days in April 2016. We arrived by boat on the shores of the hotel's beach. Our first impression was complete joy. The hotel manager was down to meet our boat with in moments. 'Elly', the manager, greeted us with a big smile and gracious welcome. They took our bags and Elly led us to the beautiful pool side restaurant where we enjoyed a complimentary cold drink and cold towells (scented with Jasmin). She told us all about the hotel and gave us a quick orientation. We were quickly taken by the gorgeous artifacts & structures surrounding the hotel grounds. Our room was gorgeous. The ceilings were high. The bathroom was well stocked with everytjing we needed. They had set up a separate, lovely bed for our daughter. The rooms had all the comforts you could require - stocked fridge, mosquito lotion and nets, earplugs for the early morning Muslim prayers ( which I love btw!) The hotel supplied kayaks and snorkeling gear (through we brought our own). The snorkeling was great here. The water was crystal clear and blue. The food here is incredible. Some of the best Indonesian food we've had anywhere. The drinks we all freshly mottled and cold! The art and acitecture of the entire hotel is memorizing. The staff was all very happy and very friendly, and always available. Elly organized an incredible waterfall hike to Mnt Rinjani for us. This was a highlight of our 6 week stay in Indonesia. The hotel's beaches are full of treasures from the sea. I even found an unbroken urchin shell. There are 2 amazing pools. Both very clean and cool. The entire experience of our stay at Tugu in Lombock was nothing short of wonderful. We hope to return there one day. We loved Tugu!!"Inle Princess Resort: "Wow! A magical place to stay"
"This amazing lakeside hotel was my favourite hotel during our trip to Burma. The tranquil arrival by boat set the scene for a wonderful couple of nights stay. Hibiscus flowers decorated the bed and the towels in the bathroom. I loved the outdoor shower and nice to have the loungers to relax on to watch the sun set over the lake. The restaurant had a nice selection of Asian and European dishes and the wine list featured some local wines that were from a vineyard only a few miles away. A magical place to stay "
