Small boutique hotel where the staff were always extremely helpful. The hotel is in the Lanna style so it feels cosy. Pool is small so the hotel is better if you plan to be busy sightseeing and want somewhere luxurious but near to the Night MarketReverie Siam Pai: "Lunch at Riverie Siam"
My friend has recommended me to this place for overnight stay but unfortuniately all rooms were occupied. I decided to stop over for lunch which I had nice Italian dinning, good taste, great presentation by the waitress and I guess the owner. "It's a village so it's not in the middle of town but absolutely worth finding. From the time you check in, until you finally have to hand back the key, MesaStila pampers you up & down, in & out. The staff at the resort were the friendliest has we ever encountered. Everyone from the greeter at the gate, the check in staff, restaurant wait staff and spa/pool staff were so welcoming. Up and down the hills, the team will help you get around in their activities. Hiking, coffee plantation, yoga and various activities are available to tire you out. Go ahead and get tired. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable Room amenities include the robes and sundries you'd expect in a property of this calibre so it ends up being the staff that makes MesaStila such a great place to stay. We visited Belitung island on Dec 2015 with my little children. It was great experience during staying in this hotel. Guests can feel warm hospitality and nice views. We spent 3 nights at Flower Island for our honeymoon. Just perfect!! A very friendly staff, a beautiful island! The cottages are not on each other. We made a trip to visit a pearl farm, with a barbecue on the beach at the top, then snorkeling on magical places in small group (we were 11 on flower island). We stayed for 10 days and had a peaceful experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful rooms are beautiful and spacious. Loved taking the kayak into the bay. I found Cabochon Hotel on TripAdvisor and was pleasantly surprised. The staff and hotel are reminiscent of what luxury travel was like many, many years ago. The staff was warm and accommodating, the décor was filled with time period furniture and antiques, and our room was generously spacious. Centrally located off Sukhumvit, the hotel is a perfect balance of location contrasted with separation from the busy city of Bangkok.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Great food in a lovely location"
A comfortable, modern interior with funky sculptures and lots of light. A gorgeous lake view and terrace to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Delicious food and knowledgeable, attentive service. The genuine hospitality of Lucia and Felix. And it is truly vegetarian friendly. We let them know beforehand that I am vegetarian and without asking, the amuse bouche and other little extras that came were all vegetarian, which was very much appreciated. A really lovely evening in a special place. Well worth it.
