Muang La Lodge: "Wonderful find"

Review by: AnnBoss | Source: Trip Advisor
"This amazing retreat is worth the 5 hour road trip from Luang Prabang. We only stayed 2 nights. Would loved to have stayed longer. The food is wonderful. The taster menu couldn't be better. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. Couldn't have hoped for more. "

Tugu Lombok: "Authentic Lombok getaway"

Review by: Timothy V | Source: Trip Advisor
The Tugu resort is a magical place, filled with impressive architecture, artwork and relics of the island's past. The buildings are placed in various parts of this sprawling resort, which ensures that it feels quiet and relaxed, even when fully booked. The rooms are incredible: we stayed with a family of 4 (two teenagers) in a two bedroom Swarga villa with 2 outside bathrooms: the rooms cannot be faulted. They have character and individuality and still all modern amenities. The private beach offers some paddling, snorkling and kayak opportunities and obviously the Gili islands are close for an excursion. The only downside to the resort is the restaurant facilities: when we were there in August, only the main restaurant was open and the choice on the menu is limited and the quality is average (this resort needs a separate fine dining option if it is to keep attracting travellers in a gradually more competitive Lombok market), which is why we "eloped" to have dinner in the Lombok Lodge. Staff in the restaurant area is moreover not trained or motivated to the standards required of such an establishment. This being said, the location and rooms trump these improvement areas, which is why we still give it a five star rating.

David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic"

Review by: ferrante51 | Source: Trip Advisor
This is by far the best dining experience I've ever had. David greets you at the door and visits your table during the dinner experience to make sure everything is well. I took my girlfriend for a date night here and everything went very well. They even presented her with a rose on my behalf at the end of the night! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Jing’s Residence: "Beautiful hotel in an ancient Chinese walled city"

Review by: Helen G | Source: Trip Advisor
Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.

Villa Song Saigon: "Amazing stay"

Review by: Zaid T | Source: Trip Advisor
"No more to say. Just stay there. The location is a bit far away from the hustle, but that's what we wanted. The nice thing is the hotel provides a free shuttle to the downtown area, which is great because you can come back and retreat to a more chill location and enjoy an afternoon by the pool. Not cheap, but worth the price. We were very happy with Villa Song."

Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "A great resort in Northern Laos"

Review by: mshipley2016 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had no idea what to expect but the resort proved to be beautiful. It is at the confluence of two rivers and has its own hot water spring. The staff are delightful, the gardens lovely and the rooms outstanding. But in fact the best feature of all is the food. The breakfast is fine but it is the set five course dinner which stars - a fascinating fusion of Lao and Western tastes. Lovely herbs and spices but not too much chilli! It is difficult to get to but well worth the effort. Highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all in great comfort amid stunning scenery.

Villa Song Saigon: "Luxurious Hotel and Great Chef"

Review by: AngelaTrinh | Source: Trip Advisor
"I've started to miss Villa Song very much. We normally have a weekend there to escape from busy noisy down town, and get relaxing after heavy working days. It was pity that our last asking to stay there on the weekend of 12-13 August was unsuccessful, because ""our"" room 203 was occupied. It made me miss the sunset over the balcony to the river, dinners prepared by Chef Kevin with lots of creative tastes and caring. I really enjoy the room with the big bath room served with nice bathtub, and separate shower, and really comfortable bed under nice temperature. Last of not least, I can tell the foods made by Chef Kevin are the best in town. We can feel his heart on the dishes, his caring for the wine pairing. Kevin and the staff always make us the most warm welcome ambiance. We really feel like home there."

Maduzi Hotel: "Our Bangkok oasis"

Review by: EbonyStar73 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have stayed here numerous times and we'll keep coming back for more. The location is second to none, perfectly located right near the ever so efficient BTS, ASOK station, yet you feel as though you're In your own little oasis once you walk through the gates. (Do yourself a favour and buy a 'Rabbit Card' so you can jump on and off the transport system with ease and enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer). The staff are always happy to assist with anything you require (btw, they won't accept any tips, it's their policy - no matter how hard you try.) The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The mini bar is included in the price of the room too, another quirky yet welcome Maduzi offering. Breakfasts are delicious! We almost always get the Japanese set breakfast. You can enjoy this in their fabulous restaurant where you'll also have a buffet to pick from, all inclusive. Or, you can order it to your room and they'll put together a buffet selection for you. Yes, this is a small boutique hotel with only 40 rooms and 7 levels, no pool or laundry (you can get the hotel to organise your washing for you) but the beautiful ambiance all around, central location and friendly staff make up for the lack of amenities. We'd choose this place over any of the big guys any day!"

Sea Dance Resort: "romantic stay in paradise"

Review by: kkp75 | Source: Trip Advisor
Sea Dance was a romantic place to stay for our 5 nights in Koh Samui. It's about a 7 minute drive from Chaweng but the property itself is tucked away from the main road and major downtown areas. We enjoyed the cooking class, the friendly staff, the free kayaking, the swing on the beach, our private pool and the main resort pool, beautiful ocean views, and live music on 2 of our 5 nights there! The staff are all very friendly and professional.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "I think it’s the only place in town to stay"

Review by: bettystaffs | Source: Trip Advisor
"I travel a lot in Asia and this is one of my must stay hotels. it has one thing in spades and that's that elusive thing called style. The staff are great if a trifle dotty, the rooms are comfy, the wine list is amazing and the food is great. You won't find a better place in town to hang out. It might not be everyone's idea of luxury but I've never thought that luxury involved looking at in room tea and coffee making facilities. Room Tip: I like downstairs but them i'm nosey"
