Satri House: "Gorgeous hotel!"
We stayed at this hotel 4 nights and it was a very relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the sculptures that are in the hotel and gardens are wonderful. The food at the hotel was good and I would recommend eating there one night. Loved Luang Prabang!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Charmant"
Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"The Cabochon Hotel: "Beautiful place, lovely stay"
Had a wonderful stay here recently. The building itself was a wonder, and the rooftop pool a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Breakfast was excellent, as were the staff. Wish we had stayed more than the one night, so will have to return next time we are in Bangkok.NEELESHWAR: "PERFECTION, PERFECTION, PERFECTION"
"I've been travelling to India for many decades and over the years I have stayed in some amazing places, from Maharaja palaces to colonial mansions. What I can honestly say is that Neeleshwar represents the absolute perfection when it comes to resorts. We stayed for 4 nights and I only wish we could have stayed here for months! The location is heavenly, on the most magnificent, endless sandy beach one can imagine, completely unspoilt by any kind of development. The feeling of peace and quiet is mesmerizing. The architecture and layout of the resort is a model of good taste and sensitivity, with extremely comfortable a/c bungalows in the pure traditional architecture of rural Kerala. Open air bathrooms, supremely comfortable beds, high ceilings, shady verandas and cool interiors create a heaven of understated luxury and calm. This is barefoot chic at its best. The swimming pool is vast and crystal-clear, with plenty of comfortable pool beds and with a lovely view of the ocean. When it comes to food, I can only say that it is simply out of this world: Fantastic and huge breakfasts where one can choose from extensive menus, both international and South Indian. For lunch and dinner there are two exceptional restaurants, especially for seafood -perhaps the best prawn curry I ever had- plus a wide choice of vegetarian dishes and soups that change every day. The Ayurveda massages are truly top notch, and they use only natural organic ingredients. Quite simply, they are the real thing. Very highly recommended! Last but not least, I feel that I have to praise the hotel personnel, that are all impeccable: Extremely polite, eager to help, efficient and professional at the same time. I owe a very special ""THANK YOU"" to the General Manager, Mr. Jayan, who attended to all my needs as if he was an old friend. I am especially interested in the unique Theyyam ritual of northern Kerala and I was planning to publish an article about it. Mr. Jayan did all the necessary enquiries and found out the performances that were held in obscure villages during our stay. He also organized transport and even joined us on one of the late night Theyyams, which was the most amazing, otherworldly, intense experience. Therefore Neeleshwar is not just about having ""the rest of your life"" but also about experiencing a very unique aspect of real India. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I would encourage anyone to spend a few -or more than a few- days in this Indian paradise "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Truly boutique!"
"I visited this property while on work and was totally floored by the excellent service and the look and ambience of it. Quaint thatched roof cottages (some with their own private swimming pool and jacuzzi) are named uniquely after emotions like Peace, Love, Joy. Amazing sea views and a sandbar between the sea and the lagoon had me clicking away at my camera!!. The infinity pool faces the sea and looks inviting. The staff from the spa therapist to the restaurant stewards took very good care of me..As a single woman traveller, they made me feel safe and very comfortable. The resort does NOT use mineral water bottles at all! Water is served in glass bottles or copper jugs. The rooms also DO NOT have televisions so it is perfect for a digital detox holiday. The Common Room has a TV for those who cannot do without their daily dose of television bytes......There are two restaurants..One of them has a great collection of books which guests can borrow to read. A WOW experience I would love to repeat with my family! Room Tip: Choose cottages with the sea view...lovely to wake up to the sound of waves!!"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Blue Mansion – Penang History"
"The 'Blue Mansion' as it is called as it's Blue is a piece of Penang history that you should visit whilst in Penang. A guided tour of the mansion tells the story of Cheong Fat Tze who originally built the mansion and the great detail and care in the architectural process. Tours are in English 3x day and go for about 1hr, but you should arrive at least 10-15min before the tour times as the gate closes until next tour. Toilets are located within the mansion grounds near the exit. Stayed January 2017, traveled solo"RACHAMANKHA: "Oasis"
"We were fortunate to stay here, albeit during the coldest weather in years! This is a true 5* property with wonderfully gracious staff. The location is perfect for walking to most areas you would want to see while in Chiang Mai. Breakfast is more than most would expect and in the evening the food is very good. "The Cabochon Hotel: "What a gem"
Perfect boutique hotel. An oasis in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Newly built in an old style but you would never guess - very comfortable and well furnished. Good swimming pool on the roof. Very nice staff.Villa Mathis: "Amazing stay at Villa Mathis"
We come back from a short stay at villa Mathis, and we miss the place already. All was fabulous thanks to the manager Mr. Frank and his helpful team. All was organized on time to satisfy any of our desire. The place is gorgeous, we stayed in tropical garden where we ate delicious food in a so romantic atmosphere. Thank you Frank again for your daily help and we hope to come back soon in your lovely compound. Cheers.Tugu Bali: "Wonderful hotel"
"What a wonderful hotel, the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated and planned - the whole atmosphere of the place has a subtle sophistication. The staff are friendly and engaging, breakfast was delicious. Thank you!"
