Mie Cafe: "Fantastic food!"

Review by: Cocobanana_7267 | Source: Trip Advisor
The restaurant in a nice wooden house is located a bit outside of the center of Siem Reap. We got there by Tuk-tuk and chose 3 courses: Tuna tartar with mango, traditional fish Amok and fried bananas with mango and vanilla ice. We loved it so much that we came back the day after and ordered the same items again. Really nice!

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "WOW!"

Review by: Verity M | Source: Trip Advisor
"What an incredible place to stay with stunning mountain views. We were looked after wonderfully by the staff and also Marcus. We had some wonderful bird spotting walks around the grounds and found out lots of interesting information about the local way of life. Food was delicious, I think it is usually a buffet lunch but there were was only 2 other people staying our first night and lunch and breakfast was served to our table. The mountain views in the morning were outstanding (we had the benefit of wonderful weather on our first morning there). This really is a beautiful place to stay if you want peace and quiet and mountain views. Room Tip: Incredible mountain views"

The Cabochon Hotel: "The Friendliest place in BKK"

Review by: Malin E | Source: Trip Advisor
I do not have enough words for how much I liked this hotel. I was traveling alone with a 10 month old baby (something that can be a bit hard from time to time as you have noone to share the work with). At Cabochon we had a great shelter to return to from the busy streets. Even though I love the whole style of this hotel I still think that the team is what makes it really really special. They are genuine friendly and independent and cared so much for us. Everyone is child friendly. I was able to arrange babysitting with them to go to a spa one evening. On top of this they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel which I can highly recommend. Since everyone wanted to play with my son I was also able to enjoy a peaceful dinner on my own which was quite nice. Breakfast is a treat and you can choose from a selection of breakfast types. We enjoyed an asian breakfast and it was my favourite on this journey. Apart from this the hotel is just beautiful and has a calm and cool colonial flair in the middle of the hot and dirty city. We enjoyed our stay at Cabochon so much that I can not praise this hotel enough!

Reverie Siam Pai: "Upscale resort in the mid of Pai valley!"

Review by: Nathantran | Source: Trip Advisor
Upon arriving at the resort after a long and exhausted journey from Chiangmai, I found a germ in the hill country town of Pai. Unassuming but luxurious, the resort was truly a rare find in this remote area of Thailand. Its garden with well maintained and manicured green "maze" lead to the pool and bungalows. Room was large with a spacious bathroom with beautiful 19th century style bathtub. From the room's balcony, you can have view of surrounding mountains and the beautiful landscape of the whole resort. Staffs were friendly and helpful. However, the most impressive thing about this resort was its opened air restaurant. The foods and service were outstanding, especially its pizza and Italian dishes-no less authentic and delicious than the same dishes in Rome or New York! We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The resort was about 10 min ride by the complimentary electric cart provided by the resort and only 2 minutes from the best spa in Pai.

Inle Princess Resort: "Amazing hotel."

Review by: Rohan_8866 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed at Inle princess for 2 nights on a family holiday to Burma. We had 3 rooms in total and unfortunately we didn't get the front river rooms but even the standard rooms are quite unique and special in their design and construction. It was cold in the month of February especially in the evenings and night but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom got much colder but it was manageable. We travelled by boat throughout our two days in inle- which was also an amazing experience. Service at the hotel was excellent. We usually ate our lunches in the market, but had all the dinners in the hotel itself as it's not possible to travel out at night. Every avocado dish was outstanding. We also got a 60 mins couple massage at the hotel which was ok. Disappointed that they didn't have the option to take a steam included with the message as this was priced separately and the amenities/ facilities didn't seem worth the extra cost. Overall a great stay, beautiful hotel, highly recommend!"

Manda De Laos: "Amazing"

It blew my mind! On top of a picturesque setting, food was beyond compare. I would pick it over and over again.

Satri House: "Pure love"

Review by: dimsumdolly | Source: Trip Advisor
"I loved our stay at Satri House. The property is beautiful, extremely well maintained, the staff is so helpful and friendly and funny, breakfast, all our requests were attended to. One of the best hotels I've been to by far, and I've stayed in much more expensive ones. 2 things bothered me: the noise from the music played across the hotel's main entrance at some open air bar/party venue, and the fact that the power points were too far from the furniture."

Rahai’i Pangun: "Absolutely fantastic!"

Review by: aerete | Source: Trip Advisor
"We took the two night cruise to see the orangutans and visit the local Dayak river villages. Wow Borneo responded promptly to every question we had. Making reservations was very simple. Top deck of the boat allows a lot of space to walk about and to sit in comfortable deck chairs to enjoy the river cruise. The dining area was at the back on the top deck as well. They have a great cook who prepared wonderful, tasty, local foods. I would say it’s some of the best food we’ve had in the two years we’ve lived in Indonesia. The rooms were basic and the bed was very comfortable. We splurged on a room with air conditioning, which was well worth the added cost after an active hot day in Borneo. While there is no hot water for the showers, that’s not a real problem given that the water temperature was about 28 to 32 Celsius…It felt good to cool off a bit. The visits to the Dayak villages were enjoyable. We took motorized canoes up the tributaries to access the villages, which added to the adventure. The villagers were very welcoming and you could tell that they were proud of their communities. They had a local group of dancers and performers come right onto the ship in the afternoon. They were very proud of the dances that they performed. In fact, there are spirited competitions that the local community group had won several times. They were all wonderful. The orangutans were a blast! We went to the orangutan rehabilitation center to learn about their initiative to return orangutans back into the wild. We took small motorized canoes up the tributaries to access the islands that the orangutans live on. They would come down by the river to watch us as we passed by. It was amazing to watch them as they would swing through the trees. Truly amazing creatures. It was nice to get away from Jakarta to enjoy the beautiful scenery of this still wild area of Indonesia. It was great to stand out on the deck at night and watch all the stars. Ah, and what beautiful sunsets! We had several hours between when the cruise ended and when our flight departed. We asked the crew if they could recommend places to visit in Palangkaraya. They called ahead to their friends and relatives and spontaneously made arrangements to tour the city for a nominal fee. They brought us to the old part of the city, which was fascinating to walk through. This trip was great value for the money. It was an incredible memorable experience. One of the highlights of our stay in Indonesia."
