Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Best in Mrauk-U"
"Excellent rustic hotel in Mrauk U. The hotel has its own jetty that takes about 4:30 hours from Sittwe airport. Sunrise breakfast charge 150 for 5 people to watch the sunrise in the the mountain and have breakfast there. Bicycles are available for rent for $5 for full day and $3 for half day. The pool in the middle of the lotus flower lake is great but the water is cold. Breakfast is included; for other meals the restaurant has a vast menu priced in USD. Can't go wrong with the curry, coconut rice (not found on the menu) and the lentil soup . The Internet rarely works but then again who cares when you are immersed in history. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "One of India’s best boutique beach resorts"
"Just 18 bungalows/rooms, each beautifully and comfortably furnished with their own semi-outdoor bathrooms. Efficient air conditioning. Spa with a range of treatments and massages. An endless white sand beach. Good sized pool although more sunloungers might be a good idea. Yoga centre. Two restaurants to choose from: one on the beach which is especially fabulous at breakfast. Fresh seafood and lots of local dishes too. And everything is set in beautiful gardens. A truly relaxing place to stay. I was a guest at Lucia & Chef Felix's Valentine's dinner - the first ever dinner at this exciting new and peaceful place - and I got served more surprises than I can name here! The menu was skilfully "crafted" with one course just melting into the next - perfect and distinct aromas of ingredients creatively combined, it felt like being on a voyage of the senses - and I left elevated in spirits and happy that such is possible again in Yangon. Thank you very much - and may many more guests be as happy as I was!! Ueli - YangonLabyrinth: "Inventive Menu by Chef / Owner L G Han"
"If you are looking for a dining experience to really remember then the one Michelin Star, Labyrinth Restaurant is for you. We enjoyed the ten (10) course, very inventive, degustation menu with matching wines. This was not a 'cheap meal out' alternative but what an experience. The sensational flavours Chef Han has 'developed / created' and presents beautifully onto your plate are to die for and create much discussion if you are lucky enough to be sharing this experience (and I mean a 'real experience') with someone. Each course is described by the excellent staff, who are attentive, but not overly so, which is good for a dining experience. We were lucky enough to get to talk to Chef / Owner Han (apparently an Investment Banker ?? in a previous life), who is a very dedicated and focused Chef and ever so willing to talk about his passion for food, presentation, attention to detail and how and why he set out to create the 'truly innovative' fair he offers at Labyrinth. If you're in Singapore, love food and wine and like to challenge your taste buds with something very different, then Labyrinth will certainly meet your every expectation."Mie Cafe: "Excellent lunch"
We went here just after opening - and without a reservation - on a weekday for lunch. We were seated right away. The tasting menu was delicious and the cocktails great. Beautiful garden in front of the restaurant. Beautiful setting in the dining area. Highly recommend!Sea Dance Resort: "Amazing Place with Truly Amazing Hospitality"
"Stayed at this property for 2 nights with wife & 2 year old kid. Striking feature about this resort: 1. Staff: be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant, they are simply the people who love their job truly. Always welcoming guest with a big smile & addressing the guest by their names. They love to engage with the guest on variety of topics . 2. View from the restaurant. It is picture perfect for a good start to your day. Property is small, but has its own charm & we truly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are small (Relatively) but practical. Offer complete privacy to each of the room. Bathroom is open to air & you may have to share your space with some tiny guests... Snails :) Our room was provided with an infant bed as complimentary. Breakfast is tasty & if you have a specific preference, do let them know in advance so that they can accommodate your request. Beach is small & rocky. I wish the all Hotels that share this beach own up some responsibility and ensure cleanliness on beach. Special mention for Gopal for wonderful conversation during dinner."Inle Princess Resort: "Fairy Tale"
"One of the most beautiful places we have been ever. It s worth the price. Absolutely lovely bungalows, huge room, amazing bathroom with a nice external shower (option we chose), spotless clean, fruits every day and they prepare your room each night before sleeping time. Luxury and discretion. The food is the best we had in restaurants in Myanmar and we were lucky to chose the cooking lesson at local family since we could get some recipes and have a authentically nice experience with locals. We had some massages: excellent ! The place is so beautiful that sometimes you doubt if you should go out do something else We did not want to leave and keep great memorie"The Island Lodge: "The Reason to Visit the Mekong Delta"
This is a beautiful property with amazing staff and service! The room was very clean, modern and spacious. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, the spa was great, and the property pristine. The owner, Michel, reached out to us directly after we made our reservation and offered transfers from Ho Chi Minh City and back at a reasonable price, which made logistics easy. Michel and his wife, Francoise, also greeted us upon arrival, adding a nice personal touch to our stay. We highly recommend taking advantage of some of the activities offered by the Island Lodge - we did the Seven Bridges Bicycle Tour and it was one of the highlights of our visit to Vietnam. But stay away from My Tho proper, the city really has nothing to offer; just enjoy the lodge, the island, and the river instead. If you are traveling to the Mekong delta, I cannot imagine a better place to stay than the Island Lodge - simply amazing. The Twelve Hotel: "An oasis of calm in the center of Bangkok"
We stayed 3 nights from January 12 to 14 is a hotel located in an old restored traditional, beautiful harmony between style and TAII contemporain.Tres welcome and comfortable bath rooms with modern sanitary. no review á makeThe Island Lodge: "Excellent location, great food, fantastic staff"
"We just stayed in the Island Lodge for a night and we only regret one thing: that we didn't stay a bit longer. The location is simply gorgeous, but we especially enjoyed the special feel this family owned hotel has. Compared to some of the other luxurious hotels and resorts in Vietnam, you really feel at home at the Island Lodge. This is all thanks to Francoise and Michel and their fantastic team. We also had a great dinner here at very reasonable prices. Finally, the massages we got were by far the best we had during our stay in Vietnam. We can only recommend this place if you are around Saigon. Escape the busy city life and come to relax here for a few nights. You will not regret it. As for us: we will be back!"
