Rachamankha: "Beautiful place to stay"
"On arrival to the Rachamankha it was hard to deny the breath taking architecture and clean calm appearance of the place. After staying at a friendly, family run guest house in Bangkok I did find this hotel to be a little bit sterile and cold at first. However, over the 4 days that I spent here I really warmed to the place. The location way great, being very central to the old town. Breakfast was excellent, with a really good range. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good, especially the pool. The room was also spacious and beautiful. A faultless stay. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"The Village House: "A little piece of paradise"
"As the location is quite far out from Kuching we decided to rent a car from the airport which made more sense and was cheaper then taxi's/organised trips. It was a little hard to find when you arrive as the place has no signs. However the location on google maps is correct it just does not look like it. The whole place is stunning. The pool is great, staff are friendly, well decorated, rooms are lovely and the food was delightful. We had the 7 course tasting menu which is expensive for Kuching but the flavours were delicious. They laid the table beautifully with flower petals and it was a really nice way to spend the evening with my partner. They have a selection of wines too. It is nice to stay somewhere which is in a local village and off the tourist trail. They have clearly thought about the place and we could not fault it. The beach is nice to see but the water is dirty and there is not really anywhere to walk too. We only stayed 2 nights and one day we drove to Bako and the other we stayed around the pool. We then stayed two nights in Kuching to be closer to the Orangutans which we visited twice. A must stay place if you are in Kuching and want to get away from the city."The Cabochon Hotel: "Our second stay at Cabochon Hotel"
"I visited Cabochon with my 9 month old baby when I was travelling with him alone and had the warmest stay on my whole journey. Ten month later I returned together with my husband and son. Nothing had changed. Still, the friendliest care one can ever dream of in a hotel. This hide away makes Bangkok seem calm. I could once again start writing about how I love the interior, the breakfastroom, the food. But still, what ones again stayed in my memory was the throughout friendly, helpful, interested and cool staff. Absolutely one of a kind. Thank you Shaubai and you whole team! Malin, Alex and Lode"Maduzi Hotel: "Amazing Hotel, Amazing Location, so Tranqui"
Amazing location, just moments from transportation/shopping/dining, hotel is so peaceful and tranquil, it really is a respite in the busy, busy city of Bangkok. As soon as you walk in your a little more calm from the beautiful decor. We had a room A5 which has a great city view, but you can keep it nice and really dark with the wall length curtains, so we slept so well. We loved the giant bed, so much room! And of course the amazing breakfast, it really helped us start our day of touring with some great and healthy options that were delicious! The staff is so nice and welcoming, we will stay here again when we are back in Bangkok. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis"
Stock buchen"Slow Villas and Spa: "Julie & Co"
It's the best Villa Complex in Gili Air, though it's very expensive you get the most comfort on Gilies you can get there. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the meals and supplies are delicious.Arumdalu: "Great honeymoon and vacation!"
This was our first -and surely not the last- visit to Arumdalu. Private beach was awesome with white sand and great view. Room was very comfortable for couples, no tv means we had the place for ourselves. Strongly recommended for couples who want to refresh themselves. And maybe a good place for a deep thinking too..Rachamankha: "Secret Escape"
"I stayed at the Rachmankha last year and was very impressed. At the end of my stay we decided to enquire about booking the hotel to celebrate my partners birthday for November this year. Since then we have had a lot of email exchange with Wanida. She is always very accommodating and helpful and very quick in responding - we knew we were in good hands. Let me start with the cons of the hotel. It is not a brand new property and some hardware (especially bedroom and bathroom in superior rooms) could benefit from a renovation; the service by the pool could also be a problem sometimes due to language barrier. However those are the only improvement I could think of. The hotel is tucked away on the West side of the old town. It's so peaceful and quiet but you can also walk to any part of the old town easily. Being a small property it has a very intimate and cozy feel to it, and the public area is just stunning - beautiful pool, stunning public lounge and garden and great flower arrangement in the restaurant. Breakfast is a highlight. They had some simple buffet spread of juices, cold cut, bread, yoghurt and fruit, and you can order two items from the a la carte menu. It was a very relaxing experience to have breakfast in the sunny courtyard to start the day. We also had dinners at the hotel. Again the courtyard provides a great set up for a romantic evening thanks to the local Thai music (live instrument) and the decoration of the place. We host a celebration dinner at the courtyard. The team has put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable evening. The pool area is always nice to spend your day, or just for a dip after a hot day in Chinag Mai or Elephant Nature Park. The hotel does not accept children so the place is quiet. Few of my friends had massages by the pool and they were all happy with the treatment. We were very happy we came back to this lovely hotel and in fact few of us are already planning for our next trip. I have stayed at so many hotels globally, but Rachmankha is just a special place."Supanniga Cruise: "Excellent food with a view"
A great place to have an exclusive dinner on a cruise. Great food served with an excellent team always ready to serve. A pleasant evening with a great view. Will be there again!Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing Mekong Delta cruise"
"Unfortunately, we only did a one night cruise on the Bassac 3. We really liked the cabins, the food, the staff - all was very harmonious. Our guide Annie came from the Mekong Delta and when you walk through a local village you pass her auntie's house. We had a great relaxing trip and would definitely recommend a cruise with a Bassac boat."
