Tugu Malang: "Awesome hospitality!"
Stayed there with a few friends. The hotel itself is so beautifully decorated with priceless antiques, and the hospitality was exemplary! We were to go to Pananjakan to watch the sunrise over mt. Bromo, and since we were to leave the hotel at 1 am, we would have had to miss breakfast that day. The hotel packed (beautiful presentation too!) a sumptuous breakfast for each of us. Highly impressed! Will surely return!The Village House: "Super!"
Me and my wife stayed there for 3 days, the first days of our honeymoon. It was one of the best accommodation of our Malaysian trip, it was super! Very relaxing and quiet! The staff was very helpful and the food is very good. "We stayed 5 nights to end our honeymoon. The staff goes the extra mile. The grounds are spectacular. Our room felt like a luxury adventure in itself, outdoor shower, giant bed, Balinese art everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially couples who want a low key and relaxing getaway. The staff set up several tours and all were incredible. The care and attention to detail I do not believe can be improved at this excellent place. All the staff, and indeed the owner are at hand to make your visit a positive one. I do not eat meat and was given an array of specially made food for my pleasure. All of the superlatives for David's kitchen are well deserved-it is clear that all the people here care and pay attention. Yes David does make an effort to speak to all diners and even more impressive he actually remembers what was said. We received an email the next day detailing our conversation and giving the name of a restaurant in Singapore he had suggested we would love. The food is among the best we have had-Chinag Mai is indeed lucky to have such a high calibre restaurant. We had the seared Tuna(which was presented as beautifully as it tasted) and Foie gras. I had the surf and turf as it was my birthday celebration and my husband had the beef cheeks that were exceptional. The attention to all the details from reservation to greeting to seating and through the dinner, we felt cared for and appreciated. "This is an idealic place. Wonderful location beautiful scenery, and we were truly spoilt. Sadly you should not visit there for the foreseeable future, because of all the rioting of the local people. You can't go out, no shops open, people off the streets curfews, Internet constantly down and teeming with army and guns. The Sukoon was truly a haven in a very troubled times. Shangloo travel agency should never have brought us to Srinagar, knowing we couldn't do any of his promised tours. This was a very dangerous act."Labyrinth: "Very beautiful food"

"We arrived at the Rachamanka Hotel after being in Bangkok for 3 days. What a little oasis this is with its little courtyards, beautiful bedrooms with wooden doors and relaxing pool area. This is a really tranquil place, not for young kids, as this is somewhere to relax by the pool, visit the massage area or library.The whole place is quality with antiques around the whole place. Breakfast is superb, with a great choice and all made to order, no buffet here! Lots of attentive and helpful staff. This place deserves the high certification it comes with. It simply has an air of calm and quality which must be appreciated. Do not expect to have too rush around in a hurry this is quality and tranquility, there are not many places like this around. Its a must stay in Chiang Mai and right by the attractions, but without any noise. Stunningly beautiful."
