Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Thai food, not great street food but delicious nonetheless"
We stop by for dinner every year here and are never disappointed. It’s a nice looking restaurant lively and well designed. Staff is courteous friendly and takes care of the customers. Food is delicious, clean (no msg), served quickly. Prices are ok, plates are small so order a lot. We ordered a crab prik thai dish ( most expensive item on the menu (600 baht)) and it was fantastic. "We arrived at Villa Song late at night and staff where more than happy to accommodate our request for food and drinks. Situated right on the river this small hotel is amazing Located in district 1 it is about 30 minutes from the airport in peak time. This is a bonus as you like you are a million miles away. Small and secluded, this boutique hotel was a lucky find. Situated in a lovely area of Bangkok, the hotel has beautifully decorated rooms and a fantastic rooftop pool (see photos) Staff go out of their way to assist. Reasonably priced.VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Just Wonderful"
"We loved staying here. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. They service was impeccable! They allowed us to check in early and check out VERY late which was so convenient for us. They have a wonderful scheduled boat that takes you to the center of Saigon in 15 minutes which was just so fun. The idea that you can have your free breakfast any time of the day is perfect! They scheduled a tour for us and we were picked up right on the hotel's dock. The pool was nice and quiet. The restaurant is right on the river and has very good food "THE SAMAR: "Back Home"
"Always a great feeling to go back to a place I like. The staff make me feel ""home"" as this is the 3rd time I stay here. Little attentions, smiles.. and this familiar atmosphere, the beautiful dark swimming pool. I travel quite a lot for both work and pleasure, and it is great to have ""harbors"" around, to rest, feel comfortable, recharge... The Samar is one of my harbors. "Went there without knowing what to expect and what a great surprised! This property is one of a kind, few villas scattered in a huge tropical garden, we were staying in Villa des Rizières with friends and everything was perfect, the bedrooms really nicely decorated the lodging area to die for and the pool just gorgeous!!! The staff is really helpful dedicated and friendly... I strongly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to Semyniak and Canggu but in a quite and stunning environment. We stayed in hillside villa to celebrate our anniversary. The room was exceptional and beach view is astonishing! Service is great and even able to setup a romantic dinner by the beach on same day request. Despite the forecast of rainshower at night it was still a success. They also have a rondalla that serenades us while we eat. Only thing we didn't like is the breakfast. But overall it's a wonderful experience.Flower Island: "Our favourite place in the Philippines"
"This is the perfect place for people like us - wanting to get slightly off the beaten path but with creature comforts such as good water pressure, comfy bed, good food...and most importantly, a beautiful beach with some of the best snorkelling right off the beach we have seen. (...) The snorkelling was incredible - such a beautiful, healthy reef with tons of fish. We were honestly snorkelling 3-4 times a day and it was always different. I am torn as I sort of don't want to tell too many people about this gem of a place but also want to share the experience as this is what we were looking for in the Philippines. Without a doubt the highlight of our trip in terms of places we stayed and we will absolutely go back. "This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"
