Talabgaon Castle: "Very unique and relaxing"

Review by: Brad R | Source: Trip Advisor
"My family and I stayed at the castle for three nights and spent Christmas there this year. It was wonderful, and a great place to slow down in between more hectic Indian stops. We entirely enjoyed the brief camel wagon ride to a small and under-visited Indian village. A great stop in between crazy and hectic Jaipur. Breakfast on the terrace and dinner next to the fireplace on the cool December nights were charming. We even had a local music group perform for us on Christmas Eve. It will certainly be a highlight of our time in India. My son even tried the pool even as it was only 50° outside"

David’s Kitchen: "TripAdvisor is correct"

Review by: jclyak | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is an awesome restaurant that has relocated to a beautiful facility near the old city. (50 baht Uber ride). A most enjoyable evening, one I wish we hadn’t missed during our visits to CM over the past 7 years. We will not make this mistake next year. Thank You David for a superb dining experience."

Cuca: "Chef served ‘Bliss"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
"Trying to decide where to eat can be a challenge in Bali with the increasing number of fabulous restaurants operating across the island. So when it comes to a restaurant of Cuca's style it's hard not to sound 'same - same' when saying how fabulous this resturant really is. From the moment you arrive at the resturant you're cocooned in a private oasis with the choice of a tranquil garden setting, to the striped back elegance of the dining room. The food! What can I say about the food. The most amazing food I've tasted. The Chefs selection was truely an onslaught of amazing flavours and textures. Each course was better than the previous. The portions were just right and left you wanting more. I can't recommend this resturant highly enough. It's worth the drive from Legian or Seminyak 70k (including a tip each way in taxi - cheaper in a car). The dinner with a bottle of Chilean wine was 200,000. Pure bliss. "

Maduzi Hotel: "Lovely boutique hotel with great service"

Review by: johnda667 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is the second time we have stayed here and we are glad we returned. The Maduzi is a a lovely hotel it is set back off the busy street in a great location near the MRT and BTS. Rooms are nice, very comfortable, we love the over size bed in the deluxe room, the overflowing spa bath is a great way to relax after a busy day on your feet. There is a pod coffee machine in the room, long with a stocked mini bar. The service from the staff is always good from check in to the check out, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is good with a nice variety, I also like that you can ask for a coffee and it will be promptly made whenever you ask."

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Non plus ultra dinining."

Review by: Sandra S | Source: Trip Advisor
Award winning chef, more than excellent food, highest standard in cooking - dining in a wonderful setting at a peaceful, quiet lake in the middle of the city, high standard in service, very proffessional, friendly and attentive staff. Could not think of a better evening.

Flower Island: "Flower Island: what a dream place to be"

Review by: Emilio2024 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Flower Island, a beautiful, serene paradise you do not want to leave, and if you have to do so by the end of your stay, you might have a little tear in your eyes... just beautiful in all respects ! The very friendly, helpful staff, the situation on this untouched island, the absolute beautiful beach, the happy, clean and pleasant ""house"" dog with its 2 puppies, the good food... what can one say more. The Flower Island..almost out of this world. One of the best places I have seen. Anytime again, better sooner then later!"

MesaStila: "A trip to Paradise"

Review by: bmeadows2016 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Have just returned from a holiday to Indonesia that started with a fabulous 7 nights at Mesa Stila. Walking onto the verandah of our beautiful house every morning, with a cup of coffee made from the beans grown on the estate and seeing the spectacular view of volcanoes and hearing the sounds of the jungle was truly magical. The staff here are so friendly and attentive to your every need. The food is delicious and uses produce grown on the estate, as well as homemade yoghurt, ice cream, sorbets, bread etc. Do try the coconut porridge for breakfast and the pina colada salad is a revelation! Do also go to the spa and indulge in a massage. Every treatment starts with a spell in the steam room and finishes with a refreshing pot of ginger tea and small treats. The masseurs are excellent, Citra has the tiniest hands but a powerful, healing touch. We were very grateful to Erny for organising our treatments so thoughtfully. There's a great programme of events too but walking around the grounds and lying by the infinity pool gazing into the jungle left me truly refreshed and ready to face the world again. I hope I'll be returning soon! "

Tugu Bali: "Hidden gem"

Review by: rrs0usa | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolutely beautiful property full of Balinese culture and Indonesian history; you could spend a day itself properly exploring, learning about, and enjoying the hotel itself. Staff were impeccable and went out of their way to meet my very need; super friendly. Easy walk (less than 2min) to the beach where there are excellent waves for surfing right there at Batu Bolong beach (with other excellent breaks nearby). Plenty of excellent and hipster restaurant/Cafe options; Canggu way more laid back and less chaotic than Kuta or Seminyak. Can sometimes be noisy at night given proximity to the some of the most happening bars in Canggu, but if you’re looking for intimate luxury in a super-cool part of Bali, Tugu is your place. Rooftop bar had outstanding views, where I also ate my breakfast every morning to watch surfers catch the morning swell. While I came solo, I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat. Thanks Tugu!

Muang La Lodge: "Hidden gem in Laos"

Review by: Stephen R | Source: Trip Advisor
"This wonderful place is an absolute gem. The staff were all super-helpful, and the facilities are super-comfortable and very well set up to fit whatever level of energy that you have, including the thermal tubs and the lovely pool. As a temporary resident of Laos, I can vouch for the authentic nature of the setting. We went on the 5 hour trek with a very scenic route accompanied by an informative guide, which allows you to see the authentic side of the changing landscape in the northern highlands and some of the pressures for change that the local people face. All in all, one of the best places of its kind that we have ever stayed in. Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"

Tugu Malang: "Just love it"

Review by: Sneekie | Source: Trip Advisor
"I stayed here before as tourist, this time for business. Both times were great! The atmosphere is magic, the restaurant is outstanding, the staff unbeatable. Rooms very authentic and comfortable. The old time odor and grandeur is all over the place, like it! They have a nice pool as well in case you travel with kids."
