Cuca: "I need a six star button to review this"

Great location, stunning food, beautifully presented. Cuca is right up there among the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure in eating in. I have been several times already and I love this place - and thankfully I live very nearby!

Villa Song Saigon: "Away from the hustle and bustle"

"I am so pleased I chose this hotel after reading previous reviews. It is in district 2 but the hotel provided a taxi boat to the centre of Saigon and it was lovely to get back to serenity after a full day of sightseeing. The bedroom we had was huge! The pool area was lovely. There is no set time for breakfast! You can have it anytime when you get up, I wish more hotels would do this. The staff are very professional and nothing is too much of a problem. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tugu Lombok: "Very Romantic; great personalized Service! Not too far from Gili Islands"

"So romantic, with extremely well-presented Villas and personalized service: felt like everyone there knew our names from hour one! The grounds are lovely and the pool is excellent. Feels like it should cost a lot more $$ than it does. Notably though it is somewhat isolated and one is pretty 'much here' if not taking a Taxi, so I felt they could have either had rested on poor food - or charged a lot at their Restaurants - but instead the Food was really, really good IMO; some of my favorite in Bali and Lombok. We greatly also enjoyed our included Brekkies... Came here with my Son and we got an extra bed which fit fine within our spacious lovely Villa; we were able to spend a lot of time together. A nice thing too is that one can also say take a taxi to local harbor 'Bangdol' to take a slow boat (costs like 15,000 IDR) to Gili T (the fast boat is 4x more and just a few minutes faster)... also see Gili Meno and Gili Air which I recommend.. one small thing to be aware of is the Taxi Brokers when first arriving from say Bali at Bangdol: they will try to charge you 500,000 or more for a taxi from a Harbor to Hotel and yet will 'secretly' give the taxi driver only 50,000 of that!! If you can make your way past thronging Brokers and ignore their aggressive entreaties; go up to actual Taxi drivers and they will take you to wonderful Hotel Tugu for 100,000 or less. If you can get a Blue Bird metered taxi it might be 30,000. We learned our lesson and became pretty adept in avoiding the aggressive Taxi Brokers in Bangdol Harbor! And this allows a lot of travel in going to and from great Hotel Tugu. Anyway both my Son and I felt that Hotel Tugu and its Staff and Meals were fantastic! Like a hidden gem in Lombok. Tugu Lombok: "A place to go"

This is a wonderfull peacefull boutique hotel. We came there by chance after being refused by our already booked sandinpondok in gili t. We spend 5 days in lombok in a front ocean room. You deserve this hotel fir many reason. Lombok is a wonderfull island. And the hotel is organizing many trips to discover the island itself. We went to thecwaterfall but not trough the normal route but taking a different path trought the rice fields. If you like hikimg g this the best way to arrive to the waterfalls. Leave aprt the more tourist way. We went with the boat to gilli island ( make sure you reserve the hotel boat and not the external ones). Gilli are overcroweded and unlessyiu are 20ies and looking for disco and ibiza mood... stay away from them and enjoy gilli under sea by boat. The hotel is simply amazing. Amixture of indonesian styles.. decorated with intersting and lovely taste. Food is excellent. Do not expect a buffet style hotel.. luckly...we have done three massage. Each one of them was professionally made.you can also buy the oils from the spa as well as visiting the antique shop of the hotel. Staff are professionally managed by the general manager. Guest relation is very professional and she will support you in choosing the right program and massage. Do not miss the moon one! Definitely a must where to stay. We loved it.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Heaven on earth"

"Having trekked for six days in the hills, Tiger Mountain Lodge was exactly what we needed. We arrived and were immediately offered refreshing drinks whilst sitting on the veranda looking at the stunning scenery.The view was incredible every single day and it was magical to sit out over breakfast and just see the mountains in the distance. The staff were on another level. They were so attentive, willing to do anything (which included making endless amounts of popcorn) and really professional. They knew exactly when we needed something and were polite and chatty. The rooms themselves were fantastic, the beds really comfy and the views stunning. The bathrooms too were much appreciated and the showers were very welcome after the hills! The food was five star: every day was something different and the breakfast especially wonderful. As a vegetarian, they were very accommodating. (...)It really is a place like nowhere else."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "A gem in the middle of the rice fields"

We got to the Sanak Retreat after leaving the busy streets of Seminyak, arriving by foot through the rice fields in the late afternoon, because of a broken down truck on the ‘main’ road... What a feeling and what a view!... we absolutely loved the place - the restaurant is good (but not cheap), staff is helpful and welcoming, swimming pool is great. And do go for a walk in the fields around the place at sunset or sunrise. The most memorable place we stayed in during our 3 weeks’ trip in Bali and would strongly recommend.

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "One of a Kind!"

"I have never been to a place like 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. We were amazed by the spectacular view, the tranquility, and the over-all ambiance of the place. The travel going to the hotel was a little long from Phnom Penh but everything was worth it. I highly recommend 4 Rivers floating Lodge to people who just want to escape to a world of peace and quiet. The staff were great. I also loved the food that was served.But what I'm truly impressed about is that the operations of the hotel is sustainable and environmentally sound. Kudos. Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Amazing!"

Champagne cruise on the sunset was just amazing! The weather was not that good as we wanted to but we said to ourselfs “it’s just a rain, let’s drink champagne!” and have enjoyed this experience very much. Absolutely everything: staff, service, boat, champagne, snacks were perfect! This is very posh! Highly recommend!

Maison Polanka: "Way Beyond What We Expected"

We are swept off our feet with the warm reception given us at this beautiful property. We had a perfect stay and we are certainly coming back. We have been to Angkor/Siem Reap before and we were quite particular that this trip would not be a standard Angkor visit. The maison and their staff were very sensitive to our preferences and made every effort to make us feel truly at home.

The Island Lodge: "Excellent location, great food, fantastic staff"

"We just stayed in the Island Lodge for a night and we only regret one thing: that we didn't stay a bit longer. The location is simply gorgeous, but we especially enjoyed the special feel this family owned hotel has. Compared to some of the other luxurious hotels and resorts in Vietnam, you really feel at home at the Island Lodge. This is all thanks to Francoise and Michel and their fantastic team. We also had a great dinner here at very reasonable prices. Finally, the massages we got were by far the best we had during our stay in Vietnam. We can only recommend this place if you are around Saigon. Escape the busy city life and come to relax here for a few nights. You will not regret it. As for us: we will be back!"
