"We had a very happy 4 days stay at this very lush and well kept 22 acres resort / staying ins huge garden. The service was superb and all the staffs including the villagers where we walked were very friendly. We enjoyed the very interesting background of this coffee plantation. We had a huge villa facing Mount Andong which we also climbed to have a good view of the farms below. It is a 11/2 hrs steep climb but not difficult. I recently stayed at Maison Polanka, it was such a welcome change and surprise to what I am used to staying; This Resort really is your home away from home; the staff welcome you like family, the intimacy of this place really has such a warm charm that makes you feel immediately at home; The team headed by General Manager Cathy, were exceptional, they were so attentive, friendly and could do enough to make our stay most memorable; I stayed in the Green room, which had an amazing balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and the perfect retreat to relax, read a book with a gin & Tonic. They made all the arrangements for a private guide to Angkor Wat, where we went for the Sunrise, what a Magical experience, followed by a picnic on the river bank; this truly was one of the most remarkable experiences I have ever had. We keep returning because it is that good. Fine antiques throughout, inside and out. A gracious and attentive staff. They are extremely stealth and quiet. The theme is serenity and quiet. Soft jazz and classical music quietly plays in the background. A bouquet of two dozen fresh roses were in our room. Complimentry breakfast is served on fine bone china. "It's an amazing place! Peaceful, quiet! Excellent staff, organized such a great bday celebration! Resort has kind of ""a private beach"" with umbrellas and chairs. Houses are away one from each other, so you have a great view from your accommodation. Food at the resort is just the best - the best one I've tried in Malaysia! And very inexpensive! Prices for accommodation is cheaper during the weekdays. To get to the island you can by boat from a pier in KK."Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic"
We loved our 2 night stay at Villa Song. Room was extremely spacious with balcony. A major positive was the location next to the Saigon River - great location and only a short boat trip to the city centre. The boat ride on the river was in itself very enjoyable. Had an excellent massage at the spa. Without asking, we had a room made available through to our evening flight. Can recommend dining nearby at the Deck.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Delightful Glamping"
"If you like a very mild degree of roughing it, this is a fabulous place to stay. The tents are very roomy and comfortable, the restaurant is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the setting -- well, look at the pictures! And yes, you can swim right from your tent! But make no mistake: it's not a hotel. If your tent is too hot, there's no AC -- you have to go around back and open up the flaps to let some breeze in."Inle Princess Resor: "A longer stay"
"A visit to lake inle was a magical one ,and staying at the inle princess was the icing on the cake .The setting was so peaceful in a quiet backwater ,our room was fabulous we couldn't have asked for more ,it overlooked the lake which had numerous birds flitting about from bushes to reeds what a setting to watch sunrises and sunsets.We had everything we needed for a perfect stay even down to binoculars . The food was excellent and all organic you could taste the difference ,everything was locally produced the hotel had its own area for growing all types of produce . To our surprise the even had 2 cat lodges as they are trying to preserve the Burmese cat breed . Just for the final touch both myself and my husband were given a gift of a traditional Burmese bag Heaven"MesaStila: "Amazing"
"very good place with amazing views and facilities. The resort crews were also very helpful and kind to support and assist us during our stay there. I stayed there as domestic guest and it was still worth to stay. Don't miss the coffee tour and local batik making!"
