Babe: "Sensational. A really special experience"
"Among all of the places I have eaten at, Babe exudes an atmosphere that rivals the most energetic of places, with the food sharing that same energy. Chef Jeff Ramsay and his team of chefs and hosts provide an experience that's unlike any other in Malaysia. The food is refreshingly inventive, executed well, and finished off with attentive explanations. I really enjoyed my time here and I recommend the place to anybody who's looking for a good time. "Reverie Siam: "Would highly recommend"
We stayed here for a total of 3 nights. And it has been awesome. The decor is an old style like stepping back in time. The staff are amazing and are what our stay magical. So worth spending the money to stay. The rooms are nice and big. And there's a free ride into town. I loved it. Can't wait to stay again.Tugu Lombok: "Hotel o museo ????"
Brava , bravissima Hanny , Elly e tutto il personale ! Grazie"Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Fantastic place !"
"A really place, quite ans sophisticated in a very quite area, next to Battambang, Beautiful décoration in traditional khmer houses. The atmosphère in the evening with the small lac illuminated is Wonderfull. Also we loved the restaurant : very good and cheap. It is better to stay there than to go to Battambang. Can be good for a long stay to enjoy the area."MesaStila: "Wonderful Resort"
"Surrounded by coffe garden and mountain view. Beautiful scenery everywhere around the hotel. Guest can join the various local activities like yoga, minum jamu, pencak silat, coffee plantation tour, etc. i like the pool with mountain view beside the restaurant. Thanks for great experience of stay."Dewakan: "Three Stars or 3 Hats….. in our books"
"""The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply"" - Kahlil Gibran. This perfectly sums up what Darren Teoh and his team at Dewakan are doing. I profess guilty to being surrounded with these wonderful ingredients and yet be clueless as to their potential. Darren is taking these humble ingredients, injecting playful creativity and reintroducing them into the fore where they belong. Here one can expect to have boundaries challenged, pushed and yet moulded into familiarity. In this off the beaten path kitchen, flavours and textures are being routinely forged. Whilst I appreciate that everyone has their own personal opinion of good food, I suggest preconceptions be left at the door. This is my second visit to Dewakan and once again I leave in awe of mother natures bounty in the hands of a true maestro. "MAISONS WAT KOR: "Paradisiac"
"A warm and friendly hotel where you feel good, I occupied a room during a couple of days, the room was spacious and comfortable, the gardens were just amazing and the staff was smiling and thoughtful. I warmly recommend The Maisons Wat Kor "The Apsara Rive Droite: "Wonderful hotel with first-class service from friendly staff"
"Everything about the Aspara Rive Droitte is just right. Mr Ai and Mr Hann (the management team) and Mr Ivan (the owner) went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with the hotel's dedicated Aspara Queen taking 60 seconds to cross the Nam Khan and deliver you to the heart of Luang Prabang - and, conversely, escape to the more serene side of the Nam Khan. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast wonderful. The pool is a welcome relief from the heat of Laos, with the bar just a few steps away. After 5 days at this home-from-home, we were sad to leave. We hope to go back"Amata Lanna: "Tropical Oasis in Chiangmai"
"It's easy to forget you're in a bustling city when staying at the Amata Lanna Chiangmai. We stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon in March and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. It's a beautiful, intimate property with a swimming pool (a necessity on hot days in Chiangmai!); an exceptionally warm and welcoming staff; and delicious, complimentary breakfast each morning. Be sure to try the mango sticky rice -- it's the best we had in Thailand! Wi-Fi is free and works very well at this hotel, too. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful hotel on a beautiful lake"
"Out canoe took us from the pier at Inle to our hotel. As we neared the hotel and passed a small hut, our boat slowed down and one of the hotel employees jumped onto the front with an oar. He steered the boat slowly and then started using his right leg to maneuver the oar while balancing on the edge of the boat with his left leg. He would use his hands to put the oar in the air, then use the heel of his foot to bring the oar back in and around through the water. It was amazing. I thought they were doing this especially for the tourists, but later we saw many, many fishermen doing the same thing. This is the way of the inhabitants of Inle. The boys learn this skill as soon as they begin to walk. What balance! The resort is owned by a local Shan family. And of course it is right on the lake. Inle Princess Hotel is in the midst of nature surrounded by tropical gardens and lily ponds. The rooms themselves are traditional pyinkado (a Myanmar hardwood), teak and bamboo thatched houses. The dining room overlooks a large deck which overlooks the water. What a perfect place to sit in the evening, have a drink and watch the sun set. We checked in, were greeted with a warm towel (this was the custom at all the hotels), served some tea, were escorted to our room. Each room is a hut with tall ceilings, a large bed with a canopy (later, when we returned from dinner, the entire bed was surrounded by the canopy for warmth and to keep the bugs out. It was like sleeping in a cocoon). There is a sitting area and a big fireplace. Our view is of the mountains as the lake view rooms were not available. But still beautiful. After spending the day on the lake, we got back to the hotel just in time to go the bar, order a fancy Mandalay Rum drink and watch the magnificent sunset. The sky burst into flames of red, orange, pink, purple. And all that color reflected into the water. A beautiful way to end the beautiful day. Dinner had to be at the hotel as obviously you can’t get anywhere. It got cold once the sun the down and we were glad to have our fleece sweaters. A light down jacket would have been great. The locals all wear them! The food was delicious, the menu with beautiful paintings, the room surrounded by ovens. After dinner, back in our room, the fireplace had been lit with coals, the room was toasty, the minibar was free, our bed was surrounded by the cocoon and all was well. This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay."
