Talabgaon Castle: "To Check for my upcoming clients"
"Recently I visited this beautiful tranquil place to check for my clients as a new off-beat place to keep in itinerary or not. It is good quite place for long stays, have beautiful pool, good service, very good food, rooms are clean and nice. A beautiful village, to have walk on village street and evening tea in the town with villagers gossip centre could be the highlight of your trip to this village. Love to go again someday...!!! Quality of everything in the hotel are outstanding. The owner and staffs are very dedicated. A real hideaway break that you can find in the city of Chiangmai. Walking distance to weekend night market and close to temple and Oasis SpaThe River Resort: "Luxury retreat on the Mekong river."
Lovely peaceful resort style hotel. The location is right on the banks of the Mekong with most rooms looking directly across the river. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very well laid out. The restaurant caters to both western and local cuisines with lots of choices, all very good. The spa is good although our massages were not consistent. There are two nice pools to choose between. The staff were exceptional. The wifi was also good.REVERIE SIAM: "Simply the best"
My wife and I drove to pai which was fun and stayed at the reverie for one night and enjoyed it so much we kept extending until we had no choice and had to come home and stayed 4 nights in total. Best hotel I've ever stayed in and can't really find a single negative. Great value and if you waMaduzi Hotel: "Little gem of a hotel"
"Just stayed for 2 nights in this hotel which doesn't look like much from the outside & is on busy road but don't let that fool you as it is gorgeous inside & road noise is minimal. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Price is reasonable too especially having come from Shangri-La. It has the right boutique effect in terms of decor & little extras. The tap from the ceiling into the infinity jacuzzi was unique. There was a proper coffee machine in the room which had one of the largest beds I've ever slept in (sheets were amazingly soft too). Can't rate this high enough & I would definitely return if I went back to Bangkok. Great location for night life & a few stops to main shopping malls. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "Lovely hotel"
We stayed here 3 nights during our time in Chiang Mai. It’s a wonderful hotel, beautiful decor and love all the flowers and natural elements. Room was great and maid service was excellent. Enjoyed the common areas as well - outdoor sitting areas, garden, and amazing pool!! Breakfast was delicious, our booking included the daily breakfast (we booked using Chase reward points). There is a buffet with a variety of breads, pastries, meat, cheese, fruit, juices and more. Also includes a menu with a variety of western and Thai dishes that you can have prepared on the spot. Best coffee we had during our entire vacation. Great location in the old city and close walking distance to everything. As soon as you walk into the hotel gate, you have a tranquil and relaxing escape from the bustle of the city.Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "Inle Princess Resort: "A beautiful, peaceful place to stay"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a garden room rather than a lake room, but still beautiful. There's no tv in the rooms, but who needs that? It was just so peaceful. Great pool, bar and restaurant too and the staff were more than ready to help out with anything. I have coeliacs and the restaurant staff were happy to make something special for me, although that wasn't required as the food on their daily changing menu gave me lots of options. We were there late January and most of the other guests (and the staff) seemed to think the mornings and evenings were cold. Not for us. While the temperature was a little more temperate than other parts of Myanmar, we were perfectly comfortable without long sleeves and scarves, but I suppose that's a subjective experience. Room Tip: You could probably pay more and get a lake view room, but it's not necessary."THE ISLAND LODGE: "A great and cosy place to recharge ones batteries"
"We had a short stay in The Island Lodge from 8th to 10th of April - I can say, a great finding! It made us extend our stay right after the first three hours on Michels premises. For us, since we were looking for a quiet place away from the busy days in Ho Chi Minh City, it was an excellent option. It was a great experience in all aspect. You will find a very idyllic small road leading to the west-end of Thoi Son island followed by a small path guiding to the entrance of the resort. A beautiful, silent place, which was obviously built and choosen by someone paying a lot of attention to details, will appear. Rooms are very clean and harmonic, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive, food and service met our expectations. Overall a very cosy atmosphere - a place to recharge ones batteries :) "David’s Kitchen: "Excellent food, service and atmosphere."
I was visiting Chiang Mai for a short weekend and read about this restaurant online. Reservations were made easily online and followed up by email. The restaurant was easy to find but location change across the river. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a very cozy atmosphere. There was a live piano during my dinner, which was nice. David personally came and greeted every table. He stayed by my table for a bit because I was alone and made me feel at home. The food was exquisite. I had a raw salmon appetizer, lobster bisque, and lamb chops - all of which I would recommend. David suggested a restaurant for lunch the following day and sent me a very detailed and warm thank you email the following morning. Thank you David!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
