Villa Song Saigon: "A fabulous oasis in this noisy city"
"Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh City to be PC) is a large, noisy, chaotic city. It was a relief, therefore, to find our accommodation was away from the madness, right on the river and the general ambience of the hotel reflected its location. Fabulous food and cocktails, a lovely setting, a stunning pool, very friendly staff... all in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Vietnam. Stayed November 2016, traveled with friends"Arumdalu: "Isolated natural beauty"
I visited with my wife for a weekend getaway from Jakarta, and found this to be a wonderful tonic for hectic traffic and work stress. It is isolated, and the drive from the airport is about an hour and 15 minutes, which is something to consider. However, we were very happy to be met by the resort's driver, and William, who took us on a short visit to the town for local coffee and noodles, which were great! The resort itself is still relatively new, and the staff's knowledge of English was limited, but their attentiveness, service, and friendly demeanor made us feel truly welcome. The facilities are wonderful, with private (one bed) Villas with lovely open floor plan, private plunge pool surrounded by views of forest and natural sounds. The beach is white sand and you can literally be the only people on it, which is amazing for Indonesia, but there are lots of little jellyfish in the ocean, so be careful. The food was wonderful, and the chef quickly took in our pescetarian dietary preference and began to create delicious offerings for us with fresh seafood and veggies (some grown on the premises). It is pricey, but is a wonderful luxury getaway spot.Talabgaon Castle: "Simply Wonderful"
"We arrived late in the evening and still enjoyed a very warm welcome from staff, The music, food, and ambiance were a very special treat. The Castle is simply beautiful. I awoke for sunrise, with light shining through the many stain glassed windows that adorned my bedroom. I wandered about the property, enjoying the light as it rose above the Castle. A staff member wished me a warm good morning, and took time to show me more about the Castle. A very special treat! Talabgaon Castle is a very tranquil place with attentive staff ... it's a great place to escape the business of over places in India. Breakfast was home cooked - welcomed and tasty. I also enjoyed a cup of coffee in my room prior to heading out to explore. I enjoyed finding the many fresh flower potpourri vessels, as well as a few peacock sitings! It was a visit to remember, for sure. I only wish we could have stayed for at least another day. The drive to the Castle may seem a bit lengthy, but in my opinion it's well worth it. Take time to enjoy the India experience along the way! The journey ... and the destination ... is the reward. Enjoy!!!"Pindaya Farm House: "Fantastic"
It was our last day in Myanmar just before flying to Yangoon and back home. It was exactly the place we were looking for after visiting and staying at different hotels around Myanmar. The location and the big hut are magical, look and feel as if inside a legend. The warm hospitality and the great food made us feel at home. unfortunately we stayed there 1 night only. Could stay there for a week.Dewakan: "An Absolute Must Visit"
"If there is only one restaurant you can go to while you are in KL, then make it this one! I don't usually gush lyrical, but here is a young chef who combines well rehearsed classical technique with inventiveness and an open mind. Added to this is a philosophy that is not floridly wordy, but very much bound to the earth and to his own family traditions. Chef Darren sources his ingredients locally and lets his family recipes be part of his inspiration. So what should you expect? Beautifully prepared dishes with a distinct, sometimes subtle, sometimes strong local flavour, lots of freshness and a little playful fun. Overall, great, great food that you definitely must not miss out on."Slow Villas and Spa: "Exceeded all expectations!"
Every part of Slow Villas exceeded our expectations! The villa was stunning with so many beautiful details. The yard to our villa was HUGE and the pool was the perfect size - bigger than expected. The outdoor bathroom was absolutely blissful... we wouldn't have changed a thing! The breakfast was one of the most memorable parts of our stay at Slow! It was so delicious and having the friendly staff bring it to our private deck was such a treat. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. We also enjoyed the spa a few times while staying at Slow... highly recommended! Overall, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Slow while on Gili Air and whole heartedly recommend it. It was a time we will never forget!Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful Hotel"
This is a lovely hotel and Lake Inle is a beautiful and fascinating place. The main reason I wanted to write a review is that the hotel now has a swimming pool which has not been mentioned before. It was just completed as we were staying there and we were allowed to swim in it even though construction of changing rooms is on going. The pool is at the back of the hotel looking on to fields and adds yet another reason to stay in this wonderful place. Lake view rooms are very special allowing sunset watching from one's own deck.MesaStila: "Heaven on earth"
"Perfect gateway from your daily routine. Feels like heaven on earth. While all the staff giving sincere smile and the warmest service , you can enjoy the best mountain view from your villa with nature surround you. This is the most unforgettable memories , and other facilities it's also one of a kind. And sure , i will be back again soon"The Village House: "Lovely Place, PEACEFUL!"
Booked for 1 Night for my propose day, is a great place especially you want to do nothing by just relaxing and enjoy the day..very friendly staff, romantic and quiet as well. surrounding are nice but a bit lack of light at night at the backyard. by the way, i have to give extra credit about the pool.Jings Residence: "Perfect"
This charming hotel reflects what for me is the real luxury rooms with all comforts but without redundancy, the materials of the hotel and the rooms are very tastefully decorated rooms, essential and refined. In a country where chinoiserie are on the agenda, see rigor and sophistication make this place a place where you want to stop and savor a bit 'of tranquility. The hospitality of the staff is absolutely the best I've found in China. I liked the fact that it is a structure with a floor, every room and it faces a courtyard, all very nice.
