The Village House: "Peaceful location"
"If you're looking for an action packed location then this is not your place but if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to unwind then this is the perfect. The Village House is about a 40 minute drive from Kuching in the village of Santubong. It's a beautiful place with nicely designed and comfortable rooms and great bathroom. There's a beautiful pool area to relax in and the food here is very good. I spent two nights here where i relaxed by the pool, read a couple of books, enjoyed the food on offer, drank some wine and just enjoyed this lovely place. When I felt energetic i walked through the village and down to the beach to watch the sun set. The staff can arrange tours and transport if you do want to get out and do things but it is a great place to relax. Beautiful! Peaceful! Relaxing!"Reverie Siam: "Still the best"
After super pleasant stay on January decided to come back again. This is really magic place, very chill and peaceful. This time stayed 4 nights in mountain view room and 1 night in villa. Both room is simply perfect, well maintained and clean. I'll repeat that staff is super warm welcome and will sincerely do everything to make your stay truly memorable. Restaurant the best in Pai. "We treated ourselves to a stay here on the last night of our holiday. It isn't cheap but does offer an exceptional experience. Just taking the speed boat into town makes it worth it! They organized a great tour to the tunnels for us and we enjoyed sitting in the peaceful gardens by the river drinking cocktails. The room is a luxurious boutique standard. The pool is a great size and lovely temperature. The only thing that could be improved is that the attitude of some of the reception staff was a bit snooty, it could be more universally warm and welcoming. "We stayed 2 nights in the family villa and absolutely loved it. The thought and style put into the room was obvious from the cool little pieces or art to the location of plenty of power points and towel racks. Staff was fantastic and the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Also the little things, like a cell phone for our use while in town and the free shuttle service from the property to town were greatly appreciated and showed us a new level of customer service. "After a disaster morning, having checked in in out from another hotel, we started to look for a hotel for our last three night in Thailand and in Koh Samui. After reading many different reviews of all the available hotel, we selected Sea Dance Resort! It is again a special hotel, in the nord of the island, comfortable bungalows in the nature, nice open on the side bathroom, great team from reception to the restaurant, all very kind and helpful! Great breakfast with different fresh juices, fruits, cheese, eggs, toast, some Thai specialities all you can dream in the morning. The restaurant is at a high level of quality that we can judge the best Thai food of our holiday. Of course the price is higher than the restaurants in the village. In the area they are also meny things to visit and with the ""rent a bike"" just outside the entrance you can organize your holiday in the best way. "We stayed for 2 nights and we're completely amazed by the special atmosphere of the Tugu Hotel Bali. This small museum of Indonesian art and history left us mesmerized. The lovely staff of the hotel made us feel at home and bringing hospitality to the next level. Our suite was wonderful, on the second floor with a huge Balinese style tub and great ocean view. Very rustic appearance, but with all modern conveniences and a very romantic and confy bed beautifully crafted . The natural beauty of the property gardens make it beautiful during the day and enchanting at night. We enjoyed the lush breakfast, with a wide variety of freshly made juices, that could be served anytime and anywhere we wanted. Every Thursday night the hotel has a cultural evening, with traditional dances what allowed us to know a little bit better the Balinese culture."
