"Just go! It's THE Best. I would suggest spending at least a week. We only got 4 days, and it wasn't enough. I can't wait to go back. The staff, food, and rooms were all wonderful. As far as Baans go, I'd recommend Baan Tamarind. It's location is awesome, and it's very private. Also if you like to snack get some from the mainland to bring. "What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay! The late Gabriella Teggia worked a miracle when she put her heart and soul into saving this part of Indonesia! The plantation itself is incredible; the food at Java Red and Java Green Restaurants was amazing; the staff are kind and welcoming; and the village walk to Losari and other villages is delightful! We loved the batik we purchased at Batik Losari from the charming owner and her daughter! Munir, our guide for a day trip to Jogjakarta, tried very hard to show us all of the sights. Tia gave us an excellent tour of the plantation itself. In the restaurant, Nur, Ana, Deby, and several other amazing young people did an excellent job taking care of us. "What a magical place this is, after 5 hour drive from Phnom Penh and 30 minutes boat ride we arrived to 4 rivers and was welcome by Luiz with welcome drinks and fresh cold towels after a long journey who explained that we were the only ones there for the night. Just my luck as I wanted to propose to my girlfriend. Anna at 4 rivers had suggested all ideas for the perfect proposal plan. On the night we arrived we went to see the fireflies, once we headed back to the tents there was candles and red carpet into the tent and there was the perfect setting for my proposal.(...) Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff are always smiling, very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The entire setting is a paradise floating on a river with well-equipped tent and great views of the river. Everything was perfect ! we stayed 3 nights and would certainly recommend this establishment. The welcome after a long journey was very nice, and we were very well advised to visit the city. the hotel is decorated with taste, beautiful rooms, and is well located in a quiet and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing, you can relax at the pool. Breakfast is delicious and the cocktails served at the bar too! "This is the perfect place for people like us - wanting to get slightly off the beaten path but with creature comforts such as good water pressure, comfy bed, good food...and most importantly, a beautiful beach with some of the best snorkelling right off the beach we have seen. (...) The snorkelling was incredible - such a beautiful, healthy reef with tons of fish. We were honestly snorkelling 3-4 times a day and it was always different. I am torn as I sort of don't want to tell too many people about this gem of a place but also want to share the experience as this is what we were looking for in the Philippines. Without a doubt the highlight of our trip in terms of places we stayed and we will absolutely go back. "We stayed four nights in the Art Suite as a family of four with two younger children over looking the Saigon River - Yaeger and his staff were attentive without being intrusive, always on hand to offer help and suggestions. Villa Song is located in the less hectic District 2 of Saigon and 15/20mins taxi and boat ride into District 1 - most attractions are in District 1 but the enclave of District 2 is also interesting with shops and restaurants (catering to the expat community of the area). We did a Saigon Hotpot city tour (highly recommended) and Saigon Street Eats Seafood Tour amongst other major Saigon attractions. Breakfast was sensational with choice of western and Vietnamese by the water and under umbrellas. Do try their Pho Bo and in luxury settings. Didn't eat dinner there but the chef is amazing and menu looks legit. Front desk staff aim to please service even went out of the way with personal help for a out of normal request - exceptional service. "Sandat Glamping Tents: "Romantic getaway"
"Thanks Sandat for a truly lovely and relaxing few days! Passing through busy Ubud your driver takes you along narrow local roads, passed rice paddies and suddenly you are in a luxurious oasis. We found this to be the perfect mix of serenity allowing us to chill out but close to Ubud's restaurants, shops and attractions when we wanted more action. The staff were attentive but not invasive, the food at the restaurant tasty and fresh (we ate in a couple of times and in Ubud a couple of times), I would thoroughly recommend the Glamping tents for a romantic getaway which is slightly different to a traditional hotel."Tugu Bali: "Amazing holiday at beautiful hotel"
"Had a great week at Tugu over Christmas with family. The hotel is decorated with Balinese furniture and art, including in the rooms. Food was very good; nice choice at both the restaurant and for in-room dining. Rooms were first-class; we had a villa with private pool and it felt incredibly private. Service from the hotel staff was also excellent with great attention to make our stay very relaxing; all our needs were met including those from our impatient 5 yr old. "We just came back from out trip to vietnam. While in saigon we stayed 4 nights in this beautiful villa. The villa is far from city, but its next to river and they have their own a very nice speed boat which can take you to the city and pick u up back to hotel (they have schedule when the boat go n back to hotel) it took around 15-20 minutes. So everyday we could enjoy the hustle bustle of saigon city and when we back to villa, we have the quiet, nice, cozy place to relax.. And beautiful view. I will definitely be back to this hotel whenever I visit Saigon in the future. But for the traveller who really into big hotel with so many rooms, crowded n just want to see the city just outside the hotel door, this isnt the place for them"
