Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Stunning"
Magnificently well restored 19th century Chinese Mansion, with a museum area. We could stay for four days, only. Could have stayed for weeks, it was such a good experience. Staff were super friendly, helpful, and it was as if they felt priveliged to be at the Blue Mansion. Shiro at reception was a standout with her advice and info about the Mansion. Breakfast was impressive it was so good, served in a beautiful location. The rooms were amazing. The most comfortable bed in a hotel I have ever found. Bathroom worked well. Pool was smallish, but most appreciated. The Indigo Restaurant, beautifully decorated, was definately worth while, at least once. We had a great dinner there. Guided tours several times a day. The tour we joined was run by a highly knowledgable Hakka Lady. A must do if you are staying. Will be back !Jings Residence: "Just perfect"
This place is totally overwhelming... You must stay at least one night if you have the opportunity to do so. So quiet, so gentle. You will certainly remember your stay in the Jing's Residence. I have been staying twice already and will certainly come back, even I do know really well Pingyao, but just to rest in the Jing's Residence.Manukan Island Resort: "Much better than crowded Kota resorts"
"I have stayed 2 nights during holiday in May 2017. I could not have enough information about Manukan island resorts, but consequently it was worth of try. It had a beautiful private beach only open to the resort residents. It has only 20 rooms in total, it was great to spend time away from a bunch of people enjoying day trip to Manukan. It has two restaurants and it offers decent breakfast. Special thanks to Nora, the front desk staff. She provided professional service during the stay. If you are visiting Kota soo, Manukan island resort would be a great choice."Talabgaon Castle: "Very beautiful resort, amazing hospitality overall an awesome experience"
This place is just fab, very well maintained heritage castle. The property is beautiful and takes you back to the royal living. Hospitality of the staff is just amazing. Mr. Harminder Singh's hospitality was just out of the world. Meals were authentic Rajasthani cuisine, made with lot of love and served with even more love :-) Overall me and my family had a wonderful experience which we will never forget. Hope to visit this awesome place again!!Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Absolutely Outstanding"
"Seadance is a very special place indeed. As has been said in lots of other reviews - the staff are amazing- so very friendly and helpful. It is very peaceful here, so much so that we didn't venture far from the resort during our 6 day stay, which is unusual for us. The rooms are great and we loved the semi-outdoor nature of the bathrooms which gave it a very special feel. The food in the restaurant is fantastic - yes it is more than you would pay in local restaurants - but it is definitely worth it. We would definitely recommend the Wednesday night buffet - with complimentary drinks beforehand. We also took advantage of the happy hour (5-7pm) most evenings with 2 for 1 cocktails which were great. Thank you Poy, Faith and the rest of the team for ensuring we had the best holiday ever. We will be recommending Seadance to everyone we know. Best regards , Chris and Sue Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "Fantastic!"
"Left a review on the other entry for this hotel...but again, can't speak highly enough!!!! Most comfortable room and bed we have been in on our month long trip to Bali. The staff was lovely and accommodating and we were delighted by the facilities. Must visit if you are in Canggu!!!"Babe: "A must try restaurant in KL"
We have been to babe a few times now, and it never fails to impress- Creative and delicious. Food wise, it is Amazing attention to every tiny detail. Michelin starred Chef Ramsey's always comes up with a unique menu. A world class restaurant right here in KL. On top of all that, the view is amazing.Reverie Siam: "3rd visit"
We were at the Reverie Siam Resort in November 2014 for the first time, in May 2015 the second time, and now again in October 2015. It is difficult to compare the Reverie Siam Resort with any other of the many hotels in Pai, as this one is so special and different - and it's different to the very good side! The location is great, and so is the environment with a perfect garden and two pools. The real highlight, however, is the Silhouette Bar, it's staff and it's food, and not to forget the wine list which is the most extensive one I have ever seen in Thailand. Although it's only 100 km from our home in Sansai, you drive a felt number of 500 curves, but presently the road is reconstructed, thus in a few months driving there will also be convenient. We will certainly return, hopefully a few more times.....Rachamankha: "Gorgeous – memories to last"
My wife and I hosted our wedding here recently, and we cannot say enough good things about the hotel and the hotel staff. We visited several roughly comparable hotels in the Chiang Mai area, but none actually come close to what the Rachamankha offers. The hotel’s owner and architect have shown an exceptional ability to capture a sense of place and history, to create an immersive experience through architecture and design, and to pay tribute to the artistic histories and cultural life of northern Thailand and surrounding areas - yet without being heavy-handed, overly sentimental, or too pedantic. The hotel grounds are simply gorgeous: a serene series of courtyards that recall Thai and Chinese family compounds from another time. Throughout, the hotel is decorated by the owner’s personal collection of sculpture, paintings, decorative arts, and so on. The service is attentive and professional, and clearly extremely well-trained (discrete, welcoming, skillful). The suites are spacious, decorated exquisitely, and comfortably private - with superb lighting, as with the hotel grounds overall (among my favorite aspects of the hotel). The generous breakfasts are best enjoyed slowly with friends over the course of a morning, relaxing in the restaurant’s enclosed courtyard area. My wife and I particularly appreciated the hotel’s library, another intimate, tastefully appointed space that features a strong collection of works related to art, architecture, and design. I am an anthropologist, and my wife works at the UN. The larger brand-name hotels are generally uninteresting to us, but even the smaller boutique hotels we’ve encountered do not meet the standard set by the Rachamankha, combining singular character with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. We would especially like to recognize the Rachamankha’s former manager, who oversaw our wedding preparations and carried us through the big day - and who is now helping to mentor the hotel’s next generation (as it were) of management. From top to bottom the whole team at the Rachamankha were a godsend for our wedding, and we can’t thank them enough. If we could be more effusive without simply throwing out more adjectives and cliches, we would do so! Unforgettable place and people, so glad I stumbled upon it all some years back. In short, an understatement: we rather enjoyed our experience at and with the Rachamankha, and we hope to return often in coming years. You’ll surely want to do the same.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing nature, food and hospitality"
"We arrived by a perfect flight into Yala on the day as a large group for a friends birthday celebration holiday. Noel was the perfect host, the staff and team were hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. We did 4 safari's, over 2 large lots in the national park, spotted 8 leopards (one for a good half hour posed around a waterhole for perfect photos) and discovered many other birds and wildlife. The food was magical, different every meal, great vegetarian mixed with a touch of meat, no-one was left hungry, a great introduction to Sri Lankan food, it was hard to match after we left. Beds are comfortable, flushing toilets and outdoor showers added to the Safari. The honeymoon tent is aircon and glam so jump into that one, otherwise stay cool in the hammock provided outside your tent. I can honestly say, as an animal and bird lover, this was the highlight of my and my husbands trip, I not have the safari bug and want to do so many more! The best Safari in the region."
