SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "One of the best"
With a wonderful lake view and amazing ambience, this restaurant is worth a visit, even though it may be slightly out of the way. The food is delicious, with lunch sets that are of good value. The service is impeccable, as with people in Myanmar in general. Make a reservations for choice seats. Alternatively, go in the evening for seats near the lake. (It seems too hot in the afternoon when I was there.) I loved the classy decor, with their handmade pottery dining ware!Mie Cafe: "Red ants and beef a winner"
Yes, actual red ants served with the beef. Lightly sweet and full of flavor. The curry chicken was also a winner. Excellent service, clean, open all day while others are closed between lunch and dinner.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Un délicieux séjour"
Living in Asia, we found this hotel through SHANTI Bali who organized our stay on the island. Travel and perfect organization from beginning to end, which ended in Munduk. Frame, home, architecture, room, meals, walks in the rice fields. EVERYTHING is able to Sanak. THE next "wasted away ALL" that the wi-fi jumps and there is no activity around bcp. To do to relax and enjoy the sublime and soothing views, all complete with a hot stone massage very successful. We recommend Shanti Bali travel and hotel SanakNeeleshwar Hermitage: "Paradise Found"
"Having spent two crazy weeks exploring Delhi, Varanasi, Agra etc. we flew down for a week in southern India to unwind. I had picked the Neeleshwar Hermitage from a photo of the swimming pool I had seen in The Trailfinders brochure, and it more than lived up to my expectations. The welcome was genuinely warm, and our cottage was just lovely. The discreet but friendly staff were always on hand for anything we needed. We arrived in the dark, and so waking up to the Arabian sea was a real treat. The beach went on for miles and was virtually deserted. The sea was warm and inviting, and the infinity pool was superb. Both restaurants were excellent, and breakfast beside the beach was fantastic. I had a wonderful treatment in the spa, and would recommend a visit. Following 3 nights at the resort we transferred for one night on the houseboat. What a wonderful, fabulous experience that I will always treasure. A perfect end to an amazing holiday. Room Tip: Some of the cottages face the sea, but we had a garden view and it was still lovely."The Island Lodge: "1 Night Not Enough"
"Paradise away from the city. Only stayed one night as part of a package. If relaxation with some tranquillity, good food and 5 star customer service - would recommend. It is a bit of a drive either from HCMC Airport of from where the Bassac Boat tours operate from. But well worth it. Would like to return for longer next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our guide told us there are 400 hotels in Siem Reap, well I am pleased we stayed at heritage suites. We enjoyed the pick up in the old car and the welcome drink and towels. I had booked the basic room as we did not expect to spend much time in the room and was delighted to to escorted to one of the garden suites. We voted it the best room we had of all the rooms on our trip. The service of the staff was excellent. Enjoyed happy hour and a light lunch by the pool. We booked our tour of Angkor wat through the hotel and it was well worth it our guide was excellent and managed to make the tour as individual as possible and I did not feel one of the masses and his knowledge of the temples and his insight into Cambodia was superb. A wonderful end to our trip around Vietnam and Cambodia my only regret was that we only had two nights .Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise for our family vacation in Thailand"
"We stayed at the Golden Buddha in April for 3 nights and my only regret is we weren't there for our entire 2 week vacation. In planning our trip I was non-committal to any one place concerned we would be stuck somewhere that didn't turn out as we expected, but had I only known. Our family of 5, kids aged 13, 11 and 9, stayed in the Baan Lucy which was beachfront and the perfect distance to the clubhouse and the bay. The house was lovely but when we come back, which we are definitely doing, I may look at one of the larger houses that had a bit more sitting/lounging area. We loved staying on the beach with the sunset and the breeze, but the back houses looked lovely as well. The arrival is something our family will never forget. Golden Buddha is not easy to get to and after a 3 hour drive from Phuket and a 90 minute ride on a pretty rough long tail, we pulled into paradise. The bay is great for kids of all ages as well as the grown ups. Pizza bar, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, swimming. It is a great way to spend the day. The beach is also beautiful and swimming is very nice- soft soft sand and great shelling. The food is over the top- very local and authentic but also sophisticated. There are a ton of families at the resort, for good reason, but could possibly be overwhelming for a couple on their honeymoon, although the clubhouse has an upstairs that was more dedicated to adults. Really a top notch resort in an unbelievable location. Almost hate sharing as it seems like a hidden gem in Thailand. Such a great experience after spending time in Bangkok, Railay Beach and Phuket. Stayed June 2016, traveled with family"Rachamankha: "a place of tranquility and luxury.."
this place is really beautiful.. classy, original, oriental, luxurious, art , architecture, procelains, century old chests ..what more.. this maybe the only hotel we stayed in Chiangmai but im sure and no doubt that this is one of the best in Chiang Mail.. the ambience are very tranquil the staffs are very friendly, free wifi, free insect repellent spray and walking distant to the old city.Rachamankha: "always a bliss"
