Rachamankha: "Perfect stay"

Review by: Cdog125 | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is idyllic, calm and peaceful. The architecture and grounds are stunning and perfect for relaxation. I loved the lounge area which was ideal to relax in after a day's sightseeing in Chiang Mai. I was delighted by breakfast - well made, great choice and beautifully dressed tables which made for a lovely start to the day. Rooms are spacious and decorated with antique furniture. The bathroom could do with some updating. I also ate in the restaurant one evening - there were not many guests so quiet but the northern Thai food was delicious. The service at the hotel was great. My stay in Rachamanka really made for a great trip to Chiang Mai - loved it !

RACHAMANKHA: "Absolute delight"

Review by: Andromedagalaxy | Source: tripadvison.com
"Unfortunately, memory fails of the date of our visit, which was prior to said date, but not of the enchantment of the hotel which persists. After the taxi ride from the airport through the streets of Chang Mai, we were swept into a land of storybook imagination. The creation of an atmosphere of Asian quiet elegance settled softly around us. My fondest memory, and one I would fervently like to repeat, is having a massage on the open air second floor of the pool pavilion. A gentle breeze kissed the curtains and birds sang while I floated away to another dimension. The restaurant is very good, allowing one to remain within the dream. "

tugu lombok: "Unique, thoughtful service in a stunning location"

Review by: JohnCole99 | Source: tripadvison.com
"We spent 3 nights in Tugu and were firstly impressed by the size and beauty of the property. The long stretch of private beach and two pools offer a lot of space and comfy sun loungers. The surrounding area and restaurant/ lobby is beautiful - very authentic and often pays tribute to the Hindu religion and times gone by, but is very charming. The service is excellent - they offer a very personal service and give great advice about hotel activities and the surrounding areas. Elly and Henry in reception are brilliant. The menu is extensive and the food was good. Smoothies and cocktails are excellent. We also enjoyed a private yoga class and massage - both were great and reasonably priced. If you are looking for sun, sea, sand, good food, service, activities - then this is the place! "

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "What a Culinary Experience! One of my favorite memories of Yangon"

Review by: HubertKlemenz | Source: Trip Advisor
"During our recent trip to Myanmar, we enjoyed our first luncheon at the newly opened Seeds Restaurant in Yangon. What a great welcome to Yangon! The arrival experience was breathtaking, with a very impressive interior design and a great view over the Inya Lake, and a Lotus Pont right in front of the stunning gardens. The Seeds Restaurant offers a fine dining experience on the highest level, with a very elegant table setup and custom-designed chinaware that perfectly pairs with the food. In fact, we enjoyed our experience so much that we actually came back again after 2 days to dine again at Seeds. I wish to offer a big compliment to the service team, because they offered such attentive and professional service under the guidance of Lucia. And of course, the food offered such a highlight to the whole experience, which was prepared by the award-wining Micheline star Chef Felix and his team. Being a retired hotelier, it was such a delight and a gourmet experience on the highest level. I highly recommend dining here – it is worth every penny for such an excellent experience…one to be remembered!"

Bali Jiwa Villa: "Irresistible view over an oasis of nature…"

Review by: Tree-studio | Source: tripadvisor.com
"For those who know what it means, there are some places in this world which cannot be described with words or pictures. Bali Jiwa Villa is one of them. When we first arrive the driver had to go through some retreat villages shortly after Ubud to finally rush into a luxurious jungle over an horizon of rice fields. At the end of a small path cutting directly through the piece of jungle, Bali Jiwa Villa entrance appeared like an oasis in the desert. The door opened and a charming Balinese woman welcome us with a heartful smile. She escort us to the Villa which was perfectly arranged and neat, she left and came back with a welcome drink and a refreshing towel. (...) Going around is quite easy. We personally recommend to rent a motorbike (just ask the staff) as driving is quite relax in this area. (...)Several local dining options are available around this area as well. Renting a car with a private driver is another option. To pampered yourself, Balinese Massage and Yoga Class are two delightful options, and for those feeling a little more sportive, cycling and rafting are two other possibilities. This place is a MUST in a lifetime, and a WOW!"

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Great fine dining in Yangon"

Review by: HtatVal | Source: Trip Advisor
Together with Le Planteur this is the best fine dining in Yangon. We went here for an early Saturday lunch. The business set lunch menu is priced at a good level. Affordable for frequent visits. I chose the Norwegian salmon entry and beef stew as main course. Wife selected the scallop soup and ravioli. All dishes were tasty and good. Also plenty of really nice bread and a taste of pumpkin soup were served. All in all a really good food in beautiful location, scenery and decor. Wish Seeds could tone down their rediculous organic focus which is not very suitable in a country depending on sustainable agriculture growth and where deforestation is an issue. Nevertheless, we hope to come back again soon for another great lunch or dinner experience.

David’s Kitchen: "Memorable six star experience"

Review by: BarbaraMD | Source: Trip Advisor
"We started our evening with the shuttle sent by The restaurant to pick us up at our hotel. The magic began. Words are not enough to describe our experience. The fabulous staff, the Decor, the high quality and food the attention to detail coupled with the warm personality of the family that owns this restaurant make this experience magical. My husband started his dinner with his favorite escargot and then a wonderful steak with a wine sauce. I enjoyed the spicy flavorful gazpacho and the chicken beast entree to keep with my diet. My husband enjoyed the homemade ice cream for dessert. If you are visiting Chiang Mei don't miss this experience. Thank you David and Prom and all the staff."

"When I arrived here, it felt like through back the time. The lobby feels like dutch with chinese interior in several point. All the employees wearing traditional uniform, looks so elegant, charming, and humble. This hotel build with fussion of Sundanese, Javanese, Chinese, and Dutch. There are several statues, painting, and several old stuffs so it feels like life in the museum. Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Huge comfortable rooms and beautiful grouunds"

Review by: DorothyMacaw | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Mrauk U Princess Resort is the best hotel in Mrauk U and a lovely place to return home to after a day of climbing temples and pagodas. The road from the gate to the reception is probably the best road in all of Mrauk U at the present time. Returning from my day out I was always great with a welcoming cold wash cloth to help cool me off and remove the dust of the day. Check in as simple, the usual passport registration dance and your leaf shaped key is in you hand in mere minutes. My room (house) was 205. A walk past the resort’s lake, surrounded with greenery and flowers. My bungalow was an easy stroll from reception and the restaurant and bar. The room was absolutely beautiful and huge. So huge in fact that it sported two (2) A/C units which kept the room very comfortable. This room has two net covered twin beds, I don’t know if double or king sized were available. The bed was comfortable with two pillows and sparkling white sheets. A small writing desk off to the side of the bed and an accessible electrical outlet, for recharging a computer or cell phone. The other side of the room had a nice soft chair and a day bed. Coffee/Tea area. Snap cap bottles of water (they must be filtered water, since I drank from them several times and no ill effects with my sensitive Western tummy). In room safe of course. A plate of welcome fresh fruit was on the table. The bathroom was clean with a large tub, sunk, shower and toilet. Soaps, shampoos and towels in abundance. The water was always hot and plentiful. The toilet was in it’s own little room that I found a little claustrophobic. The restaurant and bar were all up to Western standards, and prices. The menu has any type of food you could desire from local dishes, to Asian dishes and a Western selection that I’d recognize anyplace. The staff could not be more helpful. Look up and someone was there in a flash. Ask for something and it appears. Request something special and it might take a minute or two, but it will happen if possible. All in all, I loved my stay at the Mrauk U Princess Resort, and if get a chance to visit Mrauk U again, I’ll be staying here again."
