Summertime Villa: "Simply magical"
We found Summertime to be absolutely magical. The serenity and beauty is outstanding. We could hear the birdsong all day. The house is perfect in every way with the greatest attention to every little detail. Prakash, Dinesh and Vaibhav were great, the food was fabulous. We would definitely want to come back again and again. Thank you Sucheta & Hans for also showing us around your lovely home `Aranya’. P.S. "Après 3jours de trek entre Kalaw et Inle le luxe d'un endroit comme celui ci mérite tous les sacrifices ...! Je n'avais pas le budget pour un hôtel comme celui ci mais je savais que l'emplacement avais un prix et ça les vaut puisque cette reconstruction de maison intha sur pilotis et juste sublime !!! Loin de tous les touristes !!! J'adore L'équipe et au petit soin pour vous de quoi vous faire passé un moment inoubliable ,j'en ai pleuré en partant ...! De la literie en passant par le Resto ,la boutique , la réintroduction des burmise cat et surtout le concept d'une vrai action pour le changement dans le bon sens avec ses étudiant en hôtellerie et leur mobilisation pour une nature intacte ...! I had an amazing time in the heritage site with superb commentary by the female owner sharing her real-life stories in conserving the place. It was engaging and insightful sharing. Deux piscines, ce qui est vraiment bien, à débordement toutes les deux, petit déjeuner correct mais à améliorer avec vue sur le Mékong... Chambre confortable en bungalow avec terrasse, vue sur le Mekong... et magnifique propriété. Personnel très aimable et attentif. "Well, I will start by saying we were booked at another place on Gili Air and while it was nice, we decided to go over and take a peak at Gili Slow to see if they might have a vacancy for our second night. When we got there they had one suite available which they showed us.....it was so much better than our current place we actually went back and grabbed our bags and moved that night to Gili Slow! The service was great, the breakfast delivered to our one bedroom pool side villa was delicious and delivered at EXACTLY the time we asked for it the night before (impressive in any island destination). The open air rooms and super comfy beds and outdoor bathrooms were all great. Also, they have a great spa on site as well but book your treatments early as they book up fast! "Two nights after a long flight- excellent spa- fantastic views across the river - nice breakfasts and helpful staff. Shuttle water taxi works well and it's nice to return to relative calm at Villa Song. We would choose to stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. "Michael and staff are very kind and went through great detail to take care of my stay in Thailand. Arnold accomodated my taxing to Chaing Mai and was always on time. Excellent villa with a delicious breakfast served. The pool is refreshing and the wonderful classical music being played made my stay so relaxing. I will definitely book there again upon my return. "I'm currently living in My Tho city and this is my first time my boyfriend visiting me in My Tho. I have worked for Thoi Son island for 3 months but didn't know they have this kind of great resort hotel on this island. We stayed here for two nights and had dinner for the first night. Tastes awesome and the staff who served the dishes was really friendly. We also tried spa and it was awesome too. We really relaxed and felt great. Beautiful hotel at the river with super friendly staff, owners and good food. One of my favourite places to escape the hectic city center. The river side is amazing at just 15/20 min from downtown it feels like being on a mini holiday just by having a good meal or coffee. If you're reading through these reviews then I think you have already made up your mind to stay here. And you are making the right decision!! This has to be the best little boutique hotel to stay in Bangkok. The service is 5 star and the decor of the hotel makes you want to fully unpack and call it your new home. When I go back, I will make sure I stay a whole week. 2 nights was so short that I almost cried leaving. Do not miss the restaurant! I wish we had had more than one dinner there. Absolutely amazing and smaller plates so you can try a lot! Thank you Cabochon! Cheers to the next gin and tonic on the secret garden on the garage rooftop!
