Tugu Bali: "Best hotel to relax"

Review by: Michelle C | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you're looking for a place away from party places and noisy crowds in Bali, then head to Hotel Tugu Bali. You have to see for yourself on why this is such an amazing hotel to stay in. I loved my Dedari Suite which had a private pool and a really beautiful bathroom. The entire property went beyond my expectations, and I was blown away by the beachfront area. I also enjoyed their all day breakfast concept, especially since I left very early for my Mt. Batur climb and returned after lunch. This hotel is at least an hour away from the airport but it's really worth it. There are also pubs outside the hotel if you want to have some drinks and a bit of party vibe. I hope to be back soon!"

The Island Lodge: "Paradise on the banks of the mighty Mekong"

Review by: Joan F F | Source: tripadvisor.com
We had 24 hours at Island Lodge in April and from the moment we were collected at the main road in the Lodge's golf buggy and whisked down the narrow lane to the hotel, we knew we had found something very special. Michel and Francoise have gone to enormous trouble to make sure that every detail is perfect. The staff are charming courteous and discreet. The rooms are large, cool and ours had a terrific balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the Mekong River beyond. We had a very pleasant afternoon boat tour round Unicorn Island before settling down on the terrasse with an ice cold beer to watch the evening light on the river and the boats of every size and shape. Swimming early in the morning in the large 24 m pool with the Mekong just a few metres away was surreal.

Rachamankha: "A little oasis"

Review by: Soidog2014 | Source: Trip Advisor
Did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Such a little oasis in the middle of town. Cleverly renovated with lots of small touches that makes it stand out from the rest. Service was impeccable, specially in the restaurant. We totally loved our stay here. It quiet and very "zen" like, whatever that is, it's perfect!

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Serenity at its best!"

Review by: Allan Mitz A | Source: tripadvisor.com
I stayed at 4 Rivers for 3D/2N and it was really an extraordinary experience! Going to 4 Rivers was a long drive yet it was worth it! During our night time check in, my partner and I were able to see the adorable fireflies! They are so plenty that they look like Christmas lights! They are stunning and shines like a star. Though it is raining during my stay, it was a wonderful time to relax and leave the stress and get refreshed with the outstanding view of mountains and trees plus the friendly staff and Adonis who’s very attentive with our needs. I also want to give cheers to the Chef for the most unforgettable Crème Caramel I tasted during dinner! How I wish I could eat and bring home the whole piece! It is so delicious that I can’t resist to eat! Memorable experience, soothing ambiance, charming staff and thoughtful managers, appetizing food – perfecto!

Manda De Laos: "Lovely innovative cooking in special location"

Review by: Segaria226 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is something of a hidden gem tucked away in a side street away from most of the tourist area. The impressive building surrounds a beautiful lily pond and is a lovely place to eat lunch or dinner. Quite romantic. The food was superb. Lao cooking with a twist. I would especially recommend the succulent spare ribs and the do it yourself lapa or minced lamb salad starter which is really tasty and great fun to ""make"" yourself by the table. The bamboo fish was interesting although not my favourite. Cocktails and wine also great."

Locavore: "Amazing fine dining experience in Bali"

Review by: Joanna K | Source: Trip Advisor
It was such a nice treat to be able to have a 5-course tasting experience at Locavore. The dishes surprise you and challenge your senses. The staff is very professional, explaining all the dishes in details. The restaurant really deserves a Michelin star!

JL Studio: "Artistic cuisine"

Each dish wobble plate, decoration, flavors, both with artistic, aesthetic and both the color, flavor and taste of the food, service personnel and then by commentary and explain the story, so every food, moving and full of praise. JL plus uphold let everything that can make people eat meals together have different levels of taste and delicious food will make people more reluctant to swallow stomach, but slowly and enjoy the taste of which different feelings, well worth to experience and enjoy the incomparable honor

I don't usually write reviews but this is an exceptional one. A perfect & reasonable priced villa for a quick getaway and a relaxing laid back holiday...The manager, Mr Haan and the staffs are very hospitable and very dedicated to provide good service and assistance to ensure our stay is as comfortable and memorable one.Continental breakfast is excellent with fresh and warm croissants and good home made jam, and pretty table setting too...so lovely, ooh la la...All in all, we had a good time here and will come again soon...

The Island Lodge: "What a fantastic find"

Review by: Eric E | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is amazing. The rooms, gardens, views, food, and above all the staff are amazing. I'm happy to have found it and sad I wasn't there loger than one night. There's not much to do, but if you're looking for Vietnamese hospitality with a touch of French luxury, go here.
