Goldhen Budha: "Our happy place"
"We have spent 6 days at Golden Buddha in December 2015 and it has been one of the best Holiday experiences so far. The location is fantastic, the staff and the management are very friendly and the whole atmosphere is very familiar and relaxed. Food, drinks and services (e.g. Thai Massage) are great and our Baan was also stunning. Hopefully we can come back one day."Satri House: "Excellent Place to end our trip of Laos"
"If you are considering a trip to Luang Prabang do yourself a favour and consider this hotel. We spent 4 nights here at the end of a tour of Laos and would thoroughly recommend this Boutique hotel. The grounds are beautiful, including a swimming pool and the rooms elegant, as one would expect from the former royal residence of Prince Souphanouvong. Our junior suite had a large bedroom, wardrobe area, huge bathroom with bath, separate shower and two washbasins and a separate loo. Plus an outside private balcony which overlooked the lilley pond. In the evening the staff would come in, prepare the nets around our four poster bed and put drinking water by the bed. Staff were all polite and service very good. Our package included breakfast served until 10.30 which was cooked freshly to order and of a good standard. Although a choice it is basically eggs, bread, cereal, yoghurt and tea/coffee, or noodle soup. We stayed over New Year where there was a Gala Dinner, including local dancers, floating candles and a small disco, which was very nice and in keeping with the surroundings. Wifi available free in rooms and ok by pool, but found it dropped off in the front courtyard. There is a spa should this be of interest to you. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk along the main road to the start of the Night Market and if you want to go to the river it is a 10 minute walk, all very easy, however there was always a Tuk Tuk or taxi outside the gate should you not wish to walk. There are also Bicycles for guest use if you wish. The flight path goes over the hotel so there are a few planes overhead during the daytime, but not that many or that noisy that it interferes with your enjoyment of the stay."Villa Song: "Lovely Saigon hotel in quiet location."
Quiet location right on river, lovely Colonial - style hotel with many pluses. Friendly, helpful staff with a high service ethic. Good dining experience, attractive room overlooking the Mekong. Own fast motor boat for complimentary speedy transfer to City.Manda De Laos: "Not to be missed"
"We were staying nearby and saw that Manda de Laos had a good rating so we decided to try it and what a pleasant surprise it was! Let me start by the service which was superb! The waiter took the time to take us through the different dishes and explaining them to us! The setting is out of this world, i don't think many restaurants can beat such a romantic setting! The food is extremely tasty triggering every single taste bud I have! All in a superb experience not to be missed"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Special dinner at a special place. You’ll need a reservation"
"No need to consider twice. Make sure you make a reservation, and go. 6-course trail of amazingness and a great selection of drinks (we had wine for this visit, but the cocktail menu also seemed fantastic). The vibe is cozy/intimate, with some personal touch of the owners. Two thumbs up!"Villa Mathis: "Contents"

Amazing experience, location and service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to truly experience a relaxed and friendly environment. We were able to relax and rest in this amazing hotel! The staff offer exceptional service and have excellent attention to every detail, we will return and holiday here again. Thank you!Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Best meal in Siem Reap!"
"After 5 trips to Siem Reap, I finally found a great restaurant! Wat Damnak is absolutely a gem of a place, The ambience, food, and service are all outstanding. The food, however, is what sets this place apart. There's no point making recommendations since the menu changes every week, but suffice to say that every dish on the tasting menu we tried was a treat. The grilled langoustine was exceptionally good, and dessert (mango cashew nut crumble, green mango jelly, and vanilla cream) was an absolute delight. I could have easily eaten 3 more of those. The drinks menu is also extensive, and very good value. My companion had an excellent cocktail, while I tried a local craft beer. I would recommend going for the 6 course option, it's definitely worth it. At USD 31 for the 6 course menu (USD 27 for 5 courses), it's a steal and worth much, much more. This is easily the best restaurant in Siem Reap."Cuca: "Love love love this place!"
I had such a lovely evening at Cuca, such amazing food and incredible value. Attention to detail was next to none and staff were wonderful. I had the tasting menus which was fabulous. Definitely going back next time I am in Bali.Mathis Retreat: "Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The staff is charming, the rooms are very confortable and the pool is great"
"The hotel is 15 minutes from the center of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields. It has a wonderful swimming pool, a great restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The attention to detail is impressive. The rooms are large, the beds very confortable, great linen, very good air conditioning ( an important item in this warm and humid climate), fast WiFi We stayed for some days at the beginning of our trip to Indonesia, and returned for more before going home. Highly recommended"Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
