"I'm currently living in My Tho city and this is my first time my boyfriend visiting me in My Tho. I have worked for Thoi Son island for 3 months but didn't know they have this kind of great resort hotel on this island. We stayed here for two nights and had dinner for the first night. Tastes awesome and the staff who served the dishes was really friendly. We also tried spa and it was awesome too. We really relaxed and felt great. Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!The Island Lodge: "Nice place to relax and chill out"
Very nice location and lovely place to relax overlooking the Mekong river. Attention is given to every detail and the place is kept immaculate both inside and out. The chef was amazing, very personable and greeted all his guests. The food was amazing and we tried both menus. I have to follow a gluten free diet and the chef made sure that some elements were changed for me. However, saying that there was very little on the menu I couldn't eat. Very fresh tasting food and good value. The service was amazing and we had a very relaxed meal. Will definitely be visiting again,Maison Polanka: "Perfect relaxation"
Maison Polanka is one of the most beautiful hotels we have visited. The Khmer house was like a second home, a bit removed from the rest of the hotel, lovingly decorated and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The best feature is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much and every wish or question is dealt with immediately. The location is a bit outside the main part of Siem Reap but there is a great restaurant within easy walking distance. Transport is easily organised via the hotel but just walking outside would probably also enable one to catch a remork within minutes. Tours and transport might be cheaper when organised elsewhere but for us convenience was most important and we thought the prices offered by the hotel were very reasonable indeed. "Must try/go/taste restaurant in Siem Reap ! Joannes, the Chef, proposes 2 new tasting menu every 2 weeks that will make you discover a high level Khmer gastronomy. Everything here is made to optimize your experience: very very good service,discreet but very efficient, charming authentic refined setting, good wine menu, vegan/vegetarian super friendly and much more but shhhhh.... "My BFF and I went straight to this restaurant for lunch after landing in BAli at 10am. Took us about 45 min to get to Ubud and we walked over from Sens Hotel and Spa to get there in time for our 1pm lunch reservation. Took us about 2.5 hours to finish the multitude of courses! The food was different and oh so very fresh. First time I had deep fried tempura style leaves and other assortments of dishes. I have tried Andre in Singapore before but the way locavore did the dishes were so different. The herb they seem to used allot is Tamarind, it was featured in quite a few of their dishes. Their cocktails were also nice. My friend had the ROJAK cocktail and boy it really did taste of rojak but in a super refreshing way. there are 2 menus only to choose from, either Vegetarian OR Meat & Fish. :) Price difference is about 100K IDR between both."Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent"
We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Staying at Villa Song Saigon is a treat. The tasteful food, the very friendly staff, the spacious and clean room, the relaxed atmosphere and the spa all helped to make our stay very pleasant. A speedboat brings you to district 1, free of charge and tour operators will come pick you up with their boats in the morning so not to have you get stuck in traffic. It's a wonderful way of travelling, i must admit.The River Resort: "Great hotel"
This is a great place and we really enjoy our stay here. The hotel is very nice with amazing river view from all rooms. breakfast is included with many options. Staff is very professional and attentive with very good English
