Tugu Bali: "Cooking class at Hotel Tugu in Canggu"
Best cooking class in Canggu! Good value for an excellent experience. I'm actually writing this review on behalf of my parents, who took a private cooking class (but were not guests at the hotel). The hospitality, beautiful setting, instruction and food were all outstanding. They learned the traditional preparation of three Javanese dishes from natural fresh ingredients down to every detail, like making milk from coconut meat. They made beautiful pictures and brought home the leftover food (which we all enjoyed) and the recipes.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Unforgettable Experience"

We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.Reverie Siam: "As good as the reviews suggest"
"We stayed two nights as part of our trip through Thailand. The food and beverage manager is doing a great job at this hotel. Breakfast a la cart is so much more enjoyable especially when it is prepared to such a high standard..the cocktails were outstanding, comparable with top 5 star hotels in HK. Not much around the hotel but the free shuttle was very reliable. Special thanks to the ladies who served us breakfast and evening drinks/dinner, they were genuinely so friendly and made our stay memorable. Thank you and we hope to return if we pass your way again! Like something a little bit more genuine and truly beautiful? Cabochon is the place for you! So much nicer than the big 5 star monoliths. Cool, Friendly, H helpful and ohh so stylish. Gorgeous rooms. "Situated on a river with hot springs and nestled in beside a small village this Hotel taught us more about high quality cuisine and life in Laos than any other. It was unseasonably cold but with coal fires in buckets (!) at each table and a large fire pit close by we were never cold. Hotwater bottles in the beds, hot thermal tubs on stilts in amongst the trees, a pool on an island, I think you must be getting the picture that this is a pretty special place. From the hotel we visited hill villages and this is a great place to hike from. Picnics, 4x4 vehicles and guides, transfers etc all organised by this hotel. It is a remote part of Laos and therefore very unspoilt. This is a gem of a hotel in such a far away place "Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing food"
"The food was fantastic. My sister who's lived here for over 20 years couldn't agree more with the authenticity of the food and ingredients, some even pleasantly surprised us. The service is maybe a lack of English. But they are trying very hard. Much appreciated. Found through Time Out and it was a great shout. Excellent food in a small and modern restaurant with a nice vibe. Excellent staff and importantly great flavour to the food including a wonderful crab meat curry.Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful hotel on the water"
We absolutely loved our time at the Princess Beautiful and large room with a fire lit each night. Stunning view over the lake. Excellent spa treatments. Restaurant was rather disappointing as lacking atmosphere after 8pm. Definitely a 60+ resort Stay here or the AureumTHE ISLAND LODGE: "A great and cosy place to recharge ones batteries"
"We had a short stay in The Island Lodge from 8th to 10th of April - I can say, a great finding! It made us extend our stay right after the first three hours on Michels premises. For us, since we were looking for a quiet place away from the busy days in Ho Chi Minh City, it was an excellent option. It was a great experience in all aspect. You will find a very idyllic small road leading to the west-end of Thoi Son island followed by a small path guiding to the entrance of the resort. A beautiful, silent place, which was obviously built and choosen by someone paying a lot of attention to details, will appear. Rooms are very clean and harmonic, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive, food and service met our expectations. Overall a very cosy atmosphere - a place to recharge ones batteries :) "
