David’s Kitchen: "A True Chiang Mai Treasure"

"On our first night in Chiang Mai, we wanted to start our stay here with a nice dinner, and after reading all of the wonderful reviews, we decided there would be no better place than David's Kitchen. Our experience not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. When we first sat down, David came to our table and was more than kind and welcoming. The staff paid such close attention to detail and with their superb service, it made our dining experience unforgettable. There was never a moment we were left unattended. The pumpkin soup and the raw salmon with cucumber salad was absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend those as starters. Then, I ordered the Beef Cheek as my main course and it was magical; a true culinary experience for anyone who has a passion and appreciation for food. You could feel the chef's heart and soul in every dish. Then, as if it couldn't get any better, we were talking to David again, telling him how much I love to cook and that's when he invited my whole family to the kitchen to meet Chef O. The Chef and his team gave us a warm welcome and took a picture with my family. Overall, the experience we had here was an utter treat and one we will never forget. Thank you David and Co. for an amazing night filled with impeccable service and food. Villa Song Saigon: "Staff eager to please"

"The staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. Boutique hotel with pool open till midnight, complimentary speedboat along Saigon river to city centre is an added bonus. Would recommend Room 201 without hesitation. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Lovely Boutique Hotel in great location. Staff is very knowledgable, kind and helpful. Breakfast was great and coffee house next door. Pool is so lovely and refreshing. This hotel is a gem in the heart of Chiang Mai!

Maduzi Hotel: "Best small hotel in Bangkok"

"I visit Bangkok 8 - 10 times per year on business, and have stayed in most of the CBD hotels over the years. I am also in the hotel business, so I tend to be quite picky about room design, service, and F&B.. This hotel has it all: Great location 5 minute walk to both BTS and MRT, extra large well-designed room with separate entry foyer for privacy, large bathroom with big shower and jacuzzi tub, and walk in wardrobe. Original paintings and antique carpets for a decorative touch, Bose sound system for music or movies, in room espresso maker, and free mini-bar for snacks and refreshments. Common areas include a beautifully appointed living room which is the perfect spot for relaxing with a book - or meeting with VIP clients. The restaurant provides semi-private dining areas, separated by bookshelves stocked with books on design, culture, and history. Best hotel breakfast in the city - fully a la cart menu features a great selection of dishes from black truffle quiche to Japanese confit of rainbow trout to home made granola and yoghurt with goji berry sauce - served until 2:00 pm. Twenty-four hour room service menu is good quality and fairly priced. The highly efficient staff work well as a team (the sales and marketing manager served my breakfast twice) and are super friendly. Special mention to Khun Poom who seems to be everywhere at once and is a master at arranging ground transport or fulfilling other special requests. Staff English proficiency is substantially better than most hotels in Bangkok. Complimentary early check-in or late check-out upon request, a very competitive room rate, and perks for direct booking / returning guests - no other hotel in the city comes close in terms of value, ambiance, service, and location. Samuay & Sons: "The only truly serious food in Udon Thani"

"My partner and I have dined at Samuay & Sons half a dozen times since we discovered it almost a year ago. After our first visit I waxed lyrical about the food in a review here, so I won't just repeat myself. Suffice it to say that owner/chefs Num and Joe take the idea of food very seriously indeed, from the sourcing of the best available meats, vegetables, herbs and other ingredients either locally or from specialist sources around the country, to the health benefits of those ingredients, to the flavourful combinations that they dream up, to the creative presentation and plating, and -- at the end of the day -- to the sheer sensory enjoyment of discerning customers. If none of the above appeals to you, and you just want to eat stuff you are used to eating, without any delightful surprises, then don't waste Num and Joe's efforts -- or your own time - just go where you normally hang out and give Samuay & Sons a wide berth. But if you love to be surprised by seriously innovative culinary skills then hasten your way to Ponepisai Road in Udon Thani city and have the best food experience for probably many hundreds of kilometers around. It is beyond me why this restaurant is not rated #1 here on TA, but I guess there will always be punters who come expecting a bog-standard duck laab or som tam and when they can't get it feel cheated. Or the others who think paying 1,000 Baht (my bill on Tuesday) for five plates of the most serious food you'll find north-east of Bangkok too expensive because they are used to eating at Tesco food court or UD Town market. What can I say? A big thank you to Num and Joe who have raised the standard of cuisine in this part of Thailand, and who make my visits to Udon so much more enjoyable!"

Satri House: "Gorgeous hotel!"

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights and it was a very relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the sculptures that are in the hotel and gardens are wonderful. The food at the hotel was good and I would recommend eating there one night. Loved Luang Prabang!

If you looking for special dinner and full services here you are!!! Their food so amazing. I had cod fish such a incredible delicious with red wine sauce just perfact !

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Traditional Exotic Hotel Perfect Location"

"My son (16) and I stayed in this traditionally styled hotel. We were seeking a 'real Korean experience' and that is what we received during our stay and didn't want to be stuck in a western hotel. We chose traditional style bedding but could have selected western style and they would have switched beds. We chose western style breakfasts and they were first class (complimentary). My son looked forward to breakfast everyday. Our washing was done everyday (complimentary), fridge in room with 4xdrinks (complimentary each day), wifi (complimentary). Aircon was fine as was the bathroom, perhaps a bit tricky for elderly to get into the bath/shower if not so nimble - we had no issues! The hotel owner Mr Kim and his staff met all our needs and requests in an instant. Only 4 or 5 groups of guests at anytime and they all received the same level of service. The hotel is just a few hundred metres from the subway, airport bus and very close to all the main tourist areas (although study map before to be sure of directions - we used iPhone maps rather than google maps as it was superior). Tourist information centres were in each tourist district and near our the subway. We ate vegetarian (and fish) and preferred to eat in Japanese styled restaurants when Korean food got a little complicated or just meat/spicy. The hotel is not far from a few 'local styled' supermarkets that are in the main tourist strip in the adjacent street/lane nearby with all the restaurants and lots of tourists. Just one of many tourist options in the vicinity. We stayed 5 nights but I think we could have achieved a great insight into Seoul in 3 or at most 4 nights max."

"Great boutique hotel with excellent reach to shopping and plenty of food options. The team was very accommodating to my request for a quiet room and provided a free upgrade when we arrived at 8pm. Room was very large and well decorated. The bed was the largest I have ever seen and so so comfy. Room layout was way better than any other 5 stars hotels I have stayed in Bangkok. A great bargain if you intend to eat, shop and get massages as they are all within walking distance. Not suitable for people who want to enjoy a sunbathing or pool access as there is no pool. I was aware but perfect as I intended to do other things around Bangkok. Highly recommended."

Sandat Glamping Tents: "No words"

"So, so nice!!!!It is different from all resorts you use to know. Beautiful tent, calm place and very nice people. The manager (italien), also friendly and kind. It's a litlle bit far from the town but they have transport, you´re there in 20 minutes. NO TV!!!!! I Must return one day"
