Les Maisons d’Itac: "A small but fantastic resort!"

Review by: MrUppsala | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent a long weekend in the bamboo house at this small but beautiful resort. Great experience. You are sleeping 3 meters from the beach! You hear the waves and all kinds of sounds in the night, very relaxing. The atmosphere at the place is great. It is sort of at the end of the road, so there is no restaurants or things to do within walking distance. But the staff and the manager Bryan are very serviceminded and will help you with anything you want to do or go to. We recommend you to eat all meals at the resort and then there's no need to go anywhere else. Just stay at the resort and enjoy it. We would love to come back some day!

Talabgaon Castle: "Treated like royalty in a royal palace"

Review by: Tony S | Source: Trip Advisor
"The first thing to say about reviewing Talabgaon Castle is that in order to differentiate these 5 stars from any earlier 5 star reviews, I should probably go back to the others and knock them down to 4 stars ... its just that good. The setting, the staff, the food, the amenities, the service ... all were top notch. We (as a couple) spent two nights here in January 2016. The staff were awaiting our arrival, and cool drinks and towels provided after the couple of hours drive from Agra (it is closer to Jaipur but we were going the other direction). Our bags were taken swiftly to our opulent room on the ground floor, and soon we were eating our first meal. This being the 6th day of our first trip to India, staying generally in upper market accommodation, we have become accustomed to good Indian food - but this took it to the next level. Flavours literally bursting. (...) For our final morning, the hotel staff set our breakfast table out in the courtyard of the gardens. In a nutshell - if you're able to stop over here ... even if its a little out of the way ... then do so. You will I am sure be as surprised, impressed and amazed as we were."

Nimmu House: "静かな村にあるホテル"

Review by: T Y | Source: Trip Advisor
"レーの中心から車で1時間ほどの静かな村にあります。 スタッフの方の温かいホスピタリティーに感動しました。家族のようなアットホームのような感じです。 庭でランチ、ディナーをすることもでき、流れる小川やハンモック、部屋、村の散歩でゆっくりとした時間をすごすことができます。 ホテルで村内観光、ヨガ、料理教室も楽しめるようです。 デリーから1時間半でレーに到着できるので、リフレッシュに訪れるのもいいかと思います。"

Amata Lanna: "Stunning oasis near old toen"

Review by: Nancy B | Source: Trip Advisor
"I cannot say enough about the beauty, tranquility and service provided at Amata Lanna Village. Everything about the place was excellent. Especially noteworthy, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Before we left, the manager (we think it was the manager) even traveled to get us coffee at the farm because it was the best coffee available. The location was decent. It was an easy tuk tuk or cab ride to town. There was a small market nearby and coffee too but hours for the coffee shop (off site) was not predictable. My only complaint was that the walls to the bathroom had decorative cut outs so privacy was limited. It didn’t matter to us as a couple. Do not hesitate to book this place!"

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Perfectly Curated, Exceptional Service!"

Review by: Suzanne S | Source: Trip Advisor
"I loved everything about this hotel. The style is incredible - every room feels like you're walking into an adventure. Everything is spotless - so clean, even though so many of the objects and fixtures are vintage. The food was amazing - I ate three meals there and loved each one. The staff assisted me with public transportation which was spot on. I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved it!"

Inle Princess Resort: "Lake Paradise!"

Review by: João Miguel C | Source: Trip Advisor
"Do not go to Inle Lake if you cannot stand mosquitoes, or if you think you are going to find an alpine lake, with crystal clear water. Having said all that, GO to Inle Lake if you want to experience the magic of a land of great craftsmen and wonderful cooks, where the temples are the most beautiful and the lake is just a means of transportation to many enchanted venues in the area. And if you go, stay at the Inle Princess Resort, where I had one of the best stays of my entire life, enjoying their super spacious rooms, with indoor and outdoor showers, great treats from the chef and of course, excellent breakfast and even better dinner. I cannot stress enough how well we were treated in the resort and how much I would like to go back. The property is the closest resort to the town of Nyaung Shwe, so the boat ride is fairly quick. Only in our last day did we realize that there was a road to town as well, but I sincerely believe, after a day full of activities, that your best bet is to relax in the pool area, enjoy the sunsets and have the best dinner at the hotel!"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relax and switch off"

Review by: Tracy W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Stayed here for two nights in a lovely ,clean, well equipped floating tent. All the staff were really friendly and keen to share details of the property and surrounding area. Hopefully it will remain free from wifi and phone signals as it is a refreshing change to unplug from everything and just slow down and enjoy the surroundings . Some details from the stay that are hopefully helpful -Approx 20 min scenic transfer by boat to the lodge with ample room for suitcases etc. -Good quality toiletries and plent of towels. -Mosquito nets integrated into the tent with extra flaps to close if it rains. Insect repellant spray in the room. -Electric and ceiling fans to cool the tents. -Good choice for meals with a daily changing set menu or a la carte menu. All the food and drink we had was really nice ( salad and ice cubes etc all safe to have here) -Choice of excursions during the stay We had an all too short stay here and wish we had stayed longer. If you want to relax and slow down then this is the ideal place"

Inle Princess Resort: "Birthday Dinner"

Review by: Plum378 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We came to Inle Princess from another resort on the other side of the lake for a special birthday dinner organised by our agent. We were due to eat on the private island but unfortunately it was raining very heavily, so we ate in the wine cellar instead. I can't compare the wine cellar to the island as I never saw the island BUT the wine cellar was sooooooo gorgeous, I wasn't sad at all that we were moved. When we walked in, they'd decked it out with rose petals and candles in lotus pads. The table was made of a long canoe and the ceiling had this incredible painting of life on Inle on it. It was honestly the most beautiful wine cellar I've ever seen. They put some traditional music on and we had a waiter attending to our every need. We were then treated to a bottle of champagne and a six course feast. We started with home made breads and chutneys, then had a crispy pancake with herbs. The fish course was eel caught in the lake which we were dubious about but my goodness, it was delicious! Next came a cheese pastry with loads of yummy melted cheese in it. The main course was a selection of three meats plus a huge shrimp served with cauliflower gnocchi. The chef then came out to bring us desert herself, which was a trio of three homemade mouses served on a mini canoe. It was so pretty. She told us a bit about the food we'd eaten. Then to my surprise in burst ten or eleven resort staff, complete with a guitar and a chocolate cake, and sang happy birthday to me. They presented me with a lovely hand written card and a birthday present. As if this wasn't all enough, they then gave us homemade biscuits and the most amazing herbal tea. By this point I was stuffed and the cake had to come back with us in a box! All in all Inle Princess made this birthday very memorable for me and I wasn't expecting something so lavish. I would highly recommend them for a special occasion and for a unique dining private experience in the wine cellar!"

Reverie Siam: "Paradise personified"

Review by: crh3983 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Only stayed one night as we took a last minute motorbike trip down from Chiang Mai, but it was well worth the journey! Was in Pai in 2014 and visited the bar/restaurant before the hotel had officially opened and was curious to see how it all turned out. Let's just say it lived up to the expectation. Such a special place and amazing staff to top it all off. Regret only staying for a night but so glad I had the chance to visit again and celebrate our engagement here. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"
