Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Perfect Koh Samui Family Trip"

Review by: kabukiman | Source: Trip Advisor
"Wonderful unpretentious small resort, nicely embedded in lots of plants and palm trees. You will be greeted with a very warm welcome and personalized service. They will do all their best to make your vacation special. Food menu is really huge for a small resort and small restaurant, but they surprised me with great quality fresh thai and european dishes. And we are certainly not the least picky regarding food quality. On the menu you will find great thai kitchen to lobster or wagyu burger. For our kids we made sometimes special requests which were all handled perfectly. Some vegetables/herbs etc are organically grown in their garden. Even if you don't stay in the resort, be sure to visit the restaurant. Cocktails are of great quality, lots of gins with fever tree tonic are available. We also did a cooking class with Toy, their chef, and were grateful for the time and effort she put into explaining all the details of thai cooking. The cooking took place outside with a view onto the pool and beach, which was a nice detail! Our two bedroom pool villa had all required amenities and was very clean and decorated with love. There is also a spa, but in the end we didn't have time to try it out. Airport transfers were organized by the resort and were perfectly on time with luggage service etc. If you don't need a huge and maybe crowded resort like the W, Four Season, but prefer a more authentic familiar service, this is the place to go. In the end I can only highly recommend the resort. We will certainly go back one day! Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"

Rachamankha: "Loved it!"

Review by: TravellingWeasels | Source: Trip Advisor
Rachamankha has it all: it's in a prime location (near all the temples) but it's really peaceful and quiet. The pool is perfect, and the library is a really cool asset. Breakfast is highly recommended too. All in all, our stay was perfect!

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Boutique luxury off the beaten track"

Review by: ChrisIbish | Source: Trip Advisor
Mrauk Oo Princess Resort, a sister hotel of the more prominent Inle Princess Resort, is by far the best accommodation option in town. Each of the 23 spacious, dark wood- dominated villas represents a blend of traditional furnishings and modern amenities. Both the restaurant (overlooking the lotus dotted pond) and the spa (situated on the bank of the river) are designed with an artistic touch. The landscaping is also easy on the eyes. At the time of my visit, the swimming pool was not at the visitors’ disposal but it has recently changed; from October 2015 hotel guests can cool down from the tropical heat with a splash in a 45 feet long swimming pool. The hotel staff are very friendly and can help you organize sightseeing around the temple complex or day trips to Chin villages and Wethali etc. Staying at Mrauk Oo Princess Resort gives you the rare opportunity to experience the remote, unspoiled Myanmar without compromising on the quality of your accommodation.

Slow Villas and Spa: "Absolute wonderland"

Review by: gilimexicankitchen | Source: Trip Advisor
"We checked-in to the Slow Villas for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4 nights, were lucky our villa had availability as they seem to be fully booked most of the time. My fiancee and I fall short of words to describe our content. Our Slow Villa stay has provided us with an utmost quiet mind to relax and to work (we had a lot of work to do which needed top focus). Our villa had a huge garden perhaps 250m2 and all the comfort and amenities we needed. We took a break off the villa only to get massages and facials at the beautiful Slow Spa, moments of total bliss! The staff were all extremely polite, kind and thoughtful at all times and it was great to be greeted even at 2 am in the morning to get a water refill, knowing there's 24 hours staff and attention which is rare (probably unique) in Gili Air. The detailed guide book which has been put together, available at the villa came also very handy for information, food options and activities on the island. Finally, our super comfy bed and goose feather pillows (never seen in any other luxurious hotel in Indonesia) made it very hard to get out of the bed but the delicious breakfast options delivered to our villa were very convincing to take a step away from the bed:)) We can not recommend this place enough. Many thanks!"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Paradise!"

Review by: Céline C | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed 4 days in those amazing ecolodges. You are in the middle of the jungle and the hotel is sustainable, eco friendly + has the best staff ever. You are taking part of a big project that is trying to preserve and maintain the local ecosystem. Anna (the owner), you are the perfect host and what you are doing is remarkable. Please try your best to keep this place away from mass tourism. The food, massage and the facilities are 5 stars. Thank you all for the best stay of our trip in Cambodia.

NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Something to remember at Noel’s Leopard Safari"

Review by: desilva | Source: tripadvisor.com
"My wife & I with two friends stayed at Noel's leopard safaris for one night. Did a safari & saw leopard (quite healthy & large) at about 6.30 pm on 13 August '15. This camp is beautiful, unusual and yet very comfortable (our honeymoon room was 5 star) and has a ""wow"" factor you don't find in many places. Very friendly staff, with superb service, also they serve some sumptuous meals (with local produce) with lovely wines and other spirits. We highly recommend this camp to anyone who loves wild life and appreciate efficient service. Thank you Noel, hope to see you again. Sharmaine & Roshan (Sydney,Australia) "

Jing’s Residence: "Paradise in Pingyao"

Review by: katieflack16 | Source: Trip Advisor
While Pingyao did not blow me away - this hotel sure did! My husband and I were helped with the trains by the staff, and they graciously extended our checkout to protect us from the rain. Iman is absolutely wonderful and all the staff treat you amazingly. The breakfast was the best we had in China and all the little touches really made our stay memorable. If you're going to Pingyao, stay here!!

Sukoon Houseboat: "A special and memorable experience"

Review by: Chris B | Source: Trip Advisor
"Even before we stepped aboard people we met were in awe of Sukoon. It is held in such high regard. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to please and cater for your every need. We relaxed upstairs on the roof where tea and delicious homemade biscuits were served. Once you have pre-ordered the choice for dinner, it is bought locally and cooked to order in the evening. Delicious. The rooms were extraordinary with their rich wood carving and offered every modern convenience. A most memorable and special experience."

Supanniga Eating Room: "Best Authentic Thai Food – new Fav place in Bangkok!"

Review by: Juni1984 | Source: Trip Advisor
Visited the Sathorn branch which is just a 7 mins walk away from Chong Nansi BTS station. Important note to book in advance for a place as it got packed pretty quickly, even had a table of ladies celebrating hen's night there. You can easily make a booking through their website. The food there is exceptional!! The ambience is nice with music and soft lighting. Portions are good for 2 pax and we were able to order a variety of dishes to share. They had the deep fried siakap fish with yummy garlic soy sauce and the pork in yellow curry was super yummy. For dessert, you must try the thai tea-flavoured panna cotta, which is literally melt in your mouth concentrated thai tea with smooth texture! Will definitely come back again!
