Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Peaceful with commanding views"
While the drive up to the lodge is challenging, the lodge itself is an oasis of tranquility. Excellent service by the staff (Jhalak was always present to answer questions), and nothing is challenging for them. There are killer views from almost everywhere, and you can spend your time just gazing !! You can see the Annapurna and Macchapucchare ranges from the lodge, with the sunrise views being particularly awesome (we didn't mind getting up early to see it, especially since there was a pot of tea waiting :-) ). We undertook a short trek, and had a very knowledgeable guide about the flora and fauna that we encountered, as well as the region as a whole. The rooms are clean, and the food, both continental and Nepali, are great ! Marcus is an exceptional host.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "One stay and it was great"
I stayed one night and it was a very pleasant stay. Great service, very attentive and excellent food. My room had a lovely view :) it's is for a relaxing stay and if you want some activities, they will arrange for you.Inle Princess Resort: "Fairy Tale"
"One of the most beautiful places we have been ever. It s worth the price. Absolutely lovely bungalows, huge room, amazing bathroom with a nice external shower (option we chose), spotless clean, fruits every day and they prepare your room each night before sleeping time. Luxury and discretion. The food is the best we had in restaurants in Myanmar and we were lucky to chose the cooking lesson at local family since we could get some recipes and have a authentically nice experience with locals. We had some massages: excellent ! The place is so beautiful that sometimes you doubt if you should go out do something else We did not want to leave and keep great memorie"Villa Song Saigon: "Good quality hotel"
"We stayed two nights at this hotel during our transit to Hong Kong. When we arrived at the hotel, they made us feel a warm welcome with a manager named Kevin from Luxembourg. There is a FREE minibar and a nice shuttle boat to the Centre of the city. Plus the wonderful food at the hotel alone with a nice size swimming pool and gym. We really enjoy our stay!"Villa Song Saigon: "Great escape"
"A lovely get away, small boutique hotel by the river. Sanctuary room with pool view was outstanding. Quiet, nice size, loved the balcony. Breakfast is fantastic, a la carte menu, wish we had more time to enjoy it. Spa is great, professional staff, loved the massage. Overall staff is doing their best to make you feel peaceful and they will help you, if needed. Will love to come back. - things for the hotel to improve; there's nowhere to hang the towels in the toilet, beds was good but needs some attention since it made noises each time one was moving and the last thing, more service by the pool. We could use a drink in the afternoon (even though room mini bar is complementary) Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"Manukan Island Resort: "Wow"
Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland but still cheap compared to home. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of people on the island during the day with locals coming over, but they all leave late afternoon then it's all yours. Very relaxing, peaceful few days. Went on snorkeling trip to nearby islands from here too. Great. Would love to come back here.VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Superb and enchanting"
"You have to go to believe how unique it is . The speed boat to downtown Saigon was the icing on the gateau. We arrived mid morning and were offered complimentary breakfast . Our rooms were most exciting . I shall never forget Villa Song . "Tugu Bali: "Hotel of our dreams"
Hotel Tugu is truly magical. From the moment you walk in, you feel as though you have been transported into an antique oasis. We were escorted by the friendliest staff to our Dedari Villa, which includes a private plunge pool, and a beautiful outdoor shower and bath that opened up to our own private koi pond. The room alone is like a fantasy, but the rest of the grounds are just as stunning. The location is perfect - right across the street from the ocean, and Old Man's and The Lawn (which are two fun, young bars/places to hang out.) I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to all, especially a couple looking for a romantic retreat.Chakrabongse Villas: "An exceptional place"
Bangkok is a fantastic, bustling city but Chakrabongse is an oasis of calm, set between the Wat Pho temple and the river. About half a dozen rooms are set around a private garden, with a walk to breakfast, served in a beautiful building literally on top of the river, and providing the most wonderful views. The rooms are individual and beautiful, and Ms Atom's team provides superb attention to detail, service, and friendliness; a late check out, boat trip, and airport pick ups were all no problem. PS we also ate here one night and the food was superb and highly individual.Yandabo Home: "Delightful stopover"
After an exhausting (but fun!) day, beset by unforeseen delays, we arrived at this fabulous hotel. We were met the wonderful Burmese greeting and immediately felt relaxed and at home. Late as we were, the staff were happy to take us on a fascinating tour of the pottery village, before serving a fabulous dinner on the deck. I was sorry we had only planned one night on our way from Bagan to Mandalay. I could have luxuriated in the superb hospitality and perfectly appointed rooms for one more day.
