CABOCHON: "Excellent. A must stay while in Bangkok"

Review by: TerryMinuit | Source: tripadvison.com
"This hotel is small yet feels luxurious. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The staff were a delight - helpful, informative and friendly. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent - delicious, adventurous and beautifully presented. The restaurant and breakfast room are a treasure trove of artefacts. The roof top pool is a wonderful touch with views that give you a very good feel for Bangkok. "

Satri House: "Exquisite experience!"

Review by: BoonHian_Tek | Source: Trip Advisor
"Satri House was especially memorable stay for us thanks to GT, Julie, and team. Also, GT sent us the jam as he mentioned in the post! The extra 10 miles they went is absolutely touching. Thank you for the above and beyond experience. Satri House will always have a place in our heart. I am planning to cook me some GT pasta tomorrow!"

David’s Kitchen: "CHIANG MAI HIDDEN GEM"

Review by: Ponstingel | Source: Trip Advisor
Where to even begin? The atmosphere is very calming, beautiful and serene. David, the owner, personally comes to your table to talk with you about the food, your travels and your life. David is an amazing individual who runs an excellent restaurant with an amazing staff. The service and food is amazing, the best Chiang Mai has to offer, as well as their family-like waiters and waitresses. David took us to meet the chef because we were so impressed with our meal. Top quality ingredients, service and presentation. A little pricey (in Thai standards not US OR UK) but EXTREMELY WORTH IT! If you're even contemplating coming here when you're in Chiang Mai, Do it! You will not be disappointed in any aspect! 5 stars. A truly unique place.

Villa Song Saigon: "Must stay"

Review by: t0kid0ki | Source: Trip Advisor
"I had a chance to come across this hotel as I was sourcing an outdoor venue for a corporate event. Everyone at Villa Song was very helpful with our event. For those looking for a place to have an outdoor wedding, look no further - Villa Song is the place to go to! I had the chance to stay there for a night and I regretted as it's too short!!! I will definitely be back! The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. They have a great restaurant that is just by the Saigon river that offers 2 completely different views for day and night. Food is awesome as well and you have the choice of either Vietnamese or Western - both are great. They have a great pool as well - though they don't offer any view but they have make the pool very cosy. Just a look at the pool and you will want to stay there. Spa was great too! I had a 75min massage - price is cheaper than the 5-star hotels in District 1. Although the location is at District 2, it is not far from other places. I would recommend staying here for 1-2N for some quiet moments before staying at the downtown area. Just a note that I don't think there is any elevator. Thus if you have problems walking up the stairs, you can request for rooms that are at the ground level."

Maduzi Hotel: "Worth the experience at Maduzi"

Review by: christinachea | Source: Trip Advisor
"Everything here is excellent! Service is very good. Although some of the young staffs do not speak much English but the senior lady in charge, who speaks good English tries her very best to help with enquiries. Food was great, served in a lovely dining area with relaxing ambience. It's worthwhile to add breakfast into your booking as you are allowed to order 2 dishes + 1 juice + 1 hot beverage. Although it's not buffet style here, the menu is great with seriously delicious French, Thai and Japanese cuisines. I love best the 'Avocado in 4 ways' and the Japanese salmon dish! It's a fresh change from buffet style breakfast in most hotels where one gets many choices of food but nothing really spectacular. The bar near reception serves complimentary drinks and everything in the mini bar of the room is also complimentary with personal coffee machine. There is a fantastic work station plus a luxurious recliner chair too which are so convenient. Bed is really huge, with super comfy sheets and ample big and normal sized pillows. Room is huge, decor is lovely with spacious dressing area + walk in wardrobe area. Only setback for the bed was the comforter which is not big enough for the bed, but it's a negligible issue. The bathroom is creatively designed with infinity jacuzzi bathtub. It's great for most guests but what is lacking here is a good strong shower. It's rain shower here with weak 'splayed out' flow that is not adjustable, and one can almost stay dry standing at the centre. There is no shower head at the jacuzzi bathtub. I had to shower using the strong flow of water coming from the ceiling meant to fill up the jacuzzi tub. Hope this problem will be looked into by the management as taking a strong satisfying shower is vital for some guests! Overall this place is awesome, location is good and prices are reasonable! "

MAISON POLANKA: "Best hotel I’ve stayed at"

Review by: Nandita R | Source: tripadvisor.com
My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and everything - from the food to the service to the rooms - was perfect. The staff works hard to make your experience perfect. The Green Room is beautiful as are the grounds and the pool. I've stayed in several hotels in several countries and this one is by far the best I've stayed at. Every detail is impeccable. The staff also helped us coordinate our tours to the temples and packed picnic breakfasts. Shoutout to our tuk tuk driver Vong - we loved him!

Locavore: "Worth every Rupiah"

Review by: VertigoBoys | Source: Trip Advisor
On the top of our foodie list for Ubud was Locavore. Be sure to make a reservation and spend the xtra $ for the beverage package, which is carefully curated to enhance every bite of food. Not only does this team create art on a plate, but they have employed the best of Ubud..local ingredients + knowledgeable friendly staff = 1st class experience!!

Muang La Lodge: "Best in Laos"

Review by: dave_clapperton | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is truly exceptional. The attention to detail is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for the outstanding staff. Quality of food like everything else here is excellent and we loved the 5 course menus each evening. You have to go there!!

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Very tranquil visit"

Review by: Sarah O | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a great time at 4 Rivers Koh Kong. There is no air conditioning or wifi here, but they had enough fans in the room that it really wasn't much of an issue. They did not provide lotion in their toiletries. When I asked if they had any, they let me borrow some of the staffs personal lotion for my skin. The resort is very remote and charming. One of the chairs and the umbrella were broken on our patio, but it didn't hamper our stay. We really enjoyed our tours with Robbie and Wee, many of the guides are local and still learning English, so it was fun to talk with them! Everyone was so friendly! They had a good selection of food options. The food ranged from average, to good, but nothing was exceptional. My only disappointment was that they have so many local fruits, but only offered orange juice from a box for breakfast. I think that if they had a juicer and could offer an option of local fruit juices that would be a nice touch. I'd highly recommend spending 2-3 days here and just enjoying the beautiful sunsets, and swimming in the river and just being ""off the grid"". The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Sukoon Houseboat: "Best Houseboat in Dal Lake. Period"

Review by: MH C | Source: Trip Advisor
"First and foremost for all those who are apprehensive and are scared to visit Kashmir, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE EVEN A BIT. Kashmir is pretty safe for tourism with no issues whatsoever. Whatever we see in the media is overhyped. Even if there are any issues out there, it will never affect tourists in any way possible. Kashmiris take very good care of tourists and they understand the importance of tourism in their life. So please do not think twice if you are planning for a vacation to Kashmir. IT IS VERY VERY SAFE. Now, about Sukoon (The houseboat). Sukoon is a luxurious houseboat located away from the hush gush in a serene location with a mind blowing view. Unlike other houseboats, they have their own boat which will take you from the Ghat to the houseboat. It is pretty convenient. Reception and welcome: As soon as you enter the houseboat, it gives you the Kashmiri feel as the interiors are done in traditional Kashmiri style. The reception area is very nice and cozy. Rooms: The interiors are very nicely done with traditional Kashmiri carvings and are well maintained as well. They have dim lights in the rooms which creates perfect ambience. Rooms sizes are perfect. Bathrooms: Very clean, very nice. Very well maintained. Food: (Dinner and breakfast) They have a small dining area. They prepare ala carte food as per the choice of the client. They do not have buffet system here which is a good part. Food is included in the tariff and you can choose from the list of available options from the menu card. Food is tasty. Very tasty. They have a deck area above the houseboat where breakfast is served. It gives a perfect start to your morning as you are having breakfast with the beautiful dal view. Just like the dinner, you can choose your breakfast items from the menu and they will make it for you. Breakfast is also very tasty. Staff: Very humble, courteous and polite. All of them work really hard. They go out of their way for the convenience of their client. Sukoon has a no plastic policy. They are trying to do their bit to protect Dal lake from ever increasing pollution. They serve clean water in glass bottles and copper vessel. This should be appreciated rather than complaining that why don’t they have sealed bisleris. Final Verdict: Just book this if you want to enjoy the serene and beautiful Dal lake. It is surely the best houseboat out there."
