Sandat Glamping Tents: "Birthday Vacation"
"My boyfriend & I traveled to Bali for my 25th birthday for 10 days! We stayed in multiple locations all over Bali, but for my actual birthday I wanted to make sure I stayed in Ubud. We chose to stay at Sandat, for two nights! From the moment we got there they immediately made us feel welcomed! We stayed in the Ylang Ylang Luxury Suite Tent, and it was more than perfect. When we walked into the Villa, they had spelled out ""Happy Birthday"" in flowers on the bed! On top of that every single person there knew it was my birthday so whenever I walked by someone new, they all stoped to tell me happy birthday! The room was incredible, and the pool was very refreshing! At Sandat, you truly feel like you're one with nature, it's amazing. We ate in the common area as much as we could, because the food was DELICIOUS, and the staff so friendly. Each morning/night they would set the tables with different and beautiful tables linens! They are very ""eco-friendly"" and I enjoyed every minute of being there. The location is perfect - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of ubud, and the shuttle service they provide is excellent! On our last morning we enjoyed hot stone massages by our pool - perfect way to end our stay! The ONLY THING I would say needs some improvement, are the beds... they are tolerable, but a memory foam mattress topper would definitely make it more comfortable! I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Putu, who helped with our reservations and was so accommodating! As well as a big thank you to Tengo - he was a pleasure to speak with! Everyone there is so great! You will not regret booking with Sandat. When we come back to Bali, we will for sure be staying at Sandat; it's very magical. - Kiela"Supanniga Eating Room: "Supanniga Eating Room"
The restaurant is located in the Sukhumvit district of Bangkok. Despite being on a main street, and having the address written in Thai, our taxi-driver still didn't find it easily (not unusual in Bangkok) so best to get information about the location before you set out, preferably a map. The place is relatively small and fashionably designed, the food is gourmet Thai seafood (apparently from Eastern Thailand). There's a nice cocktail list (and wines, although we didn't try those). In other words, it's at the other end of the scale to the average Thai eatery. Prices were reasonable considering all factors. Between two of us we had a crab curry, crispy stir-fried fish (a kind of Thai version of whitebait), a prawn and bean stir-fry, white rice and black rice. Our waitress was quite a character and spoke very good English. All very good. All in all, a pleasant experience.Heritage Suites: "Fantastic find"
This is a beautiful and quiet boutique hotel. It was a pleasure to return to the serenity each day after sightseeing. Our room was lovely and spacious, even considering that it was set up with two extra beds for our children. Although we didn't use it, the private hot tub and garden were a nice added touch. The pool area was also quite nice. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast, as well as cocktails and dinner one evening. We were able to arrange for sightseeing excursions through the hotel that were absolutely amazing, particularly the sunrise over Angkor Wat that we were able to enjoy in complete solitude thanks to our phenomenal guide. Book this hotel - you will not be disappointed!Samanea Beach Resort: "Cambodia 6.17"
Had a great time, staff and hotel facilities excellent. The breakfast was very good and the dining facility was lovely and breezy. The room was spacious and comfortable and loved the outdoor shower. Pool also good.Talabgaon Castle: "Fascinating place!"
We went here on route from Agra to Jaipur! Was a great opportunity to sample Indian village life and get away from all the tourist and city stuff! We were very well looked after and had a memorable camel cart ride through the village, getting to meet lots of the local children! Rooms were immaculate and the food was great!Inle Princess Resort: "Superb stay in a fantastic resort"
We spent two wonderful nights at the hotel. The design of the estate and, in particular, the rooms/houses has been beautifully thought through to create a self-contained oasis of calm and peacefulness, just what we wanted after a succession of very busy days sightseeing! The staff were excellent and the service impeccable, the food was very good. Strongly recommended. The Island Lodge: "Paradise on the banks of the mighty Mekong"
We had 24 hours at Island Lodge in April and from the moment we were collected at the main road in the Lodge's golf buggy and whisked down the narrow lane to the hotel, we knew we had found something very special. Michel and Francoise have gone to enormous trouble to make sure that every detail is perfect. The staff are charming courteous and discreet. The rooms are large, cool and ours had a terrific balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the Mekong River beyond. We had a very pleasant afternoon boat tour round Unicorn Island before settling down on the terrasse with an ice cold beer to watch the evening light on the river and the boats of every size and shape. Swimming early in the morning in the large 24 m pool with the Mekong just a few metres away was surreal.MesaStila: "I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Central Java"
We had such an amazing stay that we wondered if we could extend our trip, despite needing to pay extra to change our flights. The room was super comfortable and artfully decorated. The vibe from the entire property was welcoming, peaceful and relaxing. I feel like we've been transported to a land without worries. The ever smiling and helpful staff definitely helped! The Turkish bath and massage was 12/10. Must try. I felt like a newborn right after. The Village House: "Perfect for those going to the Rainforest Music Festival"
"My husband and stayed here for two nights while attending the rainforest music festival. We are so glad that we found the village house. -Great and friendly service at point of entry -owners were very kind and friendly -Clean great hangout area with pool and hammocks in the courtyard. Perfect for mid afternoon swims before the nighttime performances at the festival - all meals included - fully stocked bar which made it convenient to have a drink - transport provided to and from the cultural village It was a little hard to find, but not impossible. Would consider staying here again when we go back to the music festival."Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Outstanding Cultural Experience"
Staying at Rakkojae Seoul was incredibly fun. Highly recommended for anyone seeking history & culture vacation. Rakkojae resided in the heart of the Bukchon village, convenience location, great walking neighborhood, steps away from tourism info center, and minutes away from subway station. We stayed for 3 nights in the separate house. The house was well maintained very nice and clean. The staffs were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Kim the manager. The traditional breakfast serve daily was excellent. Rakkojae brought us an amazing experience in Seoul that one may not get if staying at modern hotel.
