4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazig"

Review by: bex67 | Source: Trip Advisor
Absolute heaven on earth. Beautiful location and the staff are all wonderful. You completely relax here. It is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. The tents are really comfortable with everything you could want. The trip to the Tatai Waterfall was a particular highlight. We also did the 7.00 am trek - although we didn't see any wildlife, it was still very enjoyable and the boat ride back to the Lodge was really beautiful.

Rachamankha: "Great spot in Chiang Mai"

Review by: AndyLosAltos | Source: Trip Advisor
"The Rachmanka is a small, beautiful, relaxing spot in the middle of bustling Chiang Mai. It's walking distance to the temples, night markets and restaurants, yet quiet and serene once you enter the gates. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the pool a perfect temperature and the breakfast in the restaurant (included in the rate) was fantastic. They make great lattes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the New Year's Eve party was amazing! The only suggestions I'd make to the management (which other reviewers have also made) are: 1) Station a bell clerk out front so that when guests arrive someone is there to help them with their bags and show them where to check in. It's quite confusing to find the front desk as it's around the corner from the courtyard entrance. There's a bell clerk sitting at the front desk, but he should be sitting out front, greeting guests. 2) The hotel needs a concierge. The front desk staff were friendly and nice, and answered questions well, but it would have been nice to have one person on staff responsible for helping with trip and restaurant reservations. We were never sure who to ask for help with those things. Those two things aside, our experience was great, and we'd definitely stay there again vs. one of the high rise or away from town hotels."

Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"

Review by: Sioned P | Source: Trip Advisor
Wonderful location and impeccable service. The clubhouse offers good, locally Thai food and the breakfasts are great. The houses are clean, well furnished, and some have great views of the andaman sea Also great if you´re travelling alone. The best part was experienciing moonlight over the beautiful island bay. Simple luxury. Time to relax.

Tugu Bali: "A Hidden Gem – Romantic and Relaxing"

Review by: Shellec | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a wonderful stay at Tugu, Bali whose mission is to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia and it certainly does. It was by far my favourite hotel on the island. There are so many wonderful historical artefacts on the property, we really enjoyed wondering the hotel to look at them and learn about some of Bali's history. The hotel’s theatrically large entrance lobby creates an impression of grandeur. While there are plenty of unique areas to enjoy a romantic breakfast/lunch/dinner. What I loved about Tugu was the friendly staff and the attention to detail. Staying true to the romance element, when our room was turned down, beautiful poems were left by the bed with an array of fresh local flowers. The bath in our suite was incredible and the flower petals added to the ambiance. For Honeymooners and anyone looking for something a little bit special -Tugu is a must!

Maison Polanka: "An oasis of calm in Siem Reap’s Disneyland"

Review by: bergerland | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at Maison Polanka for the final four nights of a three-week tour to Vietnam and Cambodia. From the moment we arrived, the staff were charming and welcoming, and they could not have done anything more to make us at home during our all-too-brief stay. Any time we ventured out, there was invariably a warm smile and a cool, refreshing serviette awaiting our return. It felt not as though we were going back to the hotel, but rather, as though we were going back home. We were allocated the lovely Yellow Room, which was equipped with all we needed and very comfortable. Siem Reap has over 1,000 hotels, many of them seemingly large and impersonal, all lined up alongside each other and vying for business. Maison Polanka, situated in a quiet back street not far from the centre of town, has just five guest rooms, a beautiful open-air dining terrace, a beautiful swimming pool, and several bicycles, should one feel the urge to go out and explore. . We felt incredibly blessed to have landed up at this jewel. Staff addressed us by our first names, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble, including an impromptu staff choir and cake to celebrate my birthday! The food on the terrace was beautifully prepared, breakfast was a real treat, and when we went out early, a packed breakfast was beautifully prepared. We had enjoyed several lovely hotels in Vietnam, but this was an entirely different experience, and ended up being the icing on the cake! It was a personal service par excellence, where one always felt among friends. To really enjoy your stay in Cambodia, you can do no better than to head for Maison Polanka."

The Village House: "Gorgeous Boutique Hotel"

Review by: Celine F | Source: tripadvisor.com
This is the perfect place to unwind for a few days. It's an easy 40 min drive from Kuching, and it's incredibly relaxing and peaceful. It's a simple hotel but a lot of care and love has gone into its set up and decoration, and it was full of beautiful artwork from local artists. The rooms were lovely (we stayed in the Raj room), the food was delicious and the service wonderful and attentive.

Supanniga Home: "A sanctuary in rural setting"

Review by: manatch | Source: Trip Advisor
Suppanniga Home is a private estate which has been converted to a bed and breakfast in a rural setting in Khon Kaen. It is a lovely little place with beautiful landscape and you will experience a slow and relaxing life of Isan. The room is comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is cooked to order and delivered to your villa. The staff are friendly but I must say not most efficient. There is room for improvement in service. Among many amenities in the room, I appreciated an in-room Nespresso machine. You can have a nice Thai lunch ordered to your room or served in outdoor dining area. The hotel is a bit pricey but it is worth a try.

Villa Song Saigon: "Brilliant"

Review by: Markus R | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed for two nights at the beginning of a two-week trip through Vietnam, and it couldn't have been a better start. The hotel and its location are spectacular. Nice airy room with a small balcony overlooking the river. Amazing staff, fantastic breakfasts and lovely dinners right by the riverside. The shuttle boat drops you off right downtown and picks you up again. Absolutely perfect!

Maison Polanka: "Total satisfaction"

Review by: randd717 | Source: Trip Advisor
A calm oasis after a day visiting temples and museums. Helpful and responsive staff, always obliging and willing to go that extra mile. Food is always fresh and delightful. The gardens and the pool are are so beautiful and relaxing. The office staff are particularly efficient in suggesting and arranging tourist activities and guides

Bassac Cruises: "Very enjoyable and better than expected"

Review by: Infrequentlunch | Source: Trip Advisor
We were lucky to have been allocated Bassac 1. I say that because she is an original vessel with fewer cabins than her sister boats and has a very pleasing worn in feel. We were greeted on board by the charming and friendly crew who looked after us very well throughout. Other reviewers have kindly given the details of the various things that you can see on or off the boat but my take is that this is definitely something worth doing. Sitting on deck as the sun sinks below the river is a wonderful experience. We would have happily spent another night on board.
