Manda De Laos: "Beautiful and delicious"
This has to be one of the most beautiful, picturesque places to have dinner in all of Laos. It's just so charming, with all the tables around the glittering lily pond, listening to crickets and seeing the stars above. The food itself was simply delicious - we had the vegetarian tasting menu and everything we ate was scrumptious! What lovely, memorable meal.Jing’s Residence: "Historical Treat in the old town of Pinyao"
"As soon as we stepped in the door we knew that this was going to be a wonderful experience. Imam the Manager gave us a warm welcome. Every room is unique and in traditional style set around numerous courtyards with wonderful decorative detail. Breakfast is waitress served by professional staff at all levels. There is a menu with a wide range of choices. Afternoon tea is served with a selection of treats. Attention to detail is given and nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful stay and a wonderful memory of Pingyao."Sukoon Houseboat: "One of my best experience. You guys rock!"

Do try the saffron rice. 6) beautiful view of the dal lake 7) kid friendly I will highly recommend this particular houseboat. The experience is one of its kind. It's a must Visit in your kashmir itenary. Not just any houseboat but sukoon houseboat."David’s Kitchen: "The BEST pumpkin soap EVER"
"After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I made a reservation online for celebrating my sister's birthday. It is simple and convenient. That night was fully booked, David greeted me and my sisters on self, then the receptionist brought us to the table immediately. It was so sweet that a greeting card with our names and a birthday card was prepared. We ordered three dinner set and oysters. The serving speed was just right. There are three types of bread, which you can refill. Started with The Salmon Gravlax and Oysters and then the Pumpkin soup. The Pumpkin soup is definitely a highlight!! It has rich pumpkin taste and creamy. The fried sweet potato ball was perfectly matched with the soup. I was surprised with the soup, which was the BEST pumpkin soup EVER! After that, a lemon sorbet was served to clean up the aftertaste. It was so considerate. The main dishes are also tasty, while, the Paris mash is really great. It has a strong taste of truffles. LOVE it. The team sang a birthday song to my sister before the desserts were served, highly recommended the Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. David was nice, he kept chatting with the guests for the whole night. The little details showed his caring and respect. I feel so warm. Just wanna thanks the whole DK team, giving us a perfect night! If you have any doubts, just don't hesitate to make an online reservation and try it yourself."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Speechless"
"Words cannot describe how amazing this hotel is. The service is unparalleled. Everyone is so attentive and friendly. I felt so special to each one of them. They really go above and beyond to make your stay excellent. The ""tents"" are fabulous. They are quaint, clean and quiet. The barrel tub is super cute and fun to use. There are lots of exertions you can experience or just relax. It truly is the most relaxing place I've ever experienced. Once you get over the initial shock of no internet, it was magical how much of the world you connect with. We chatted with the other guests, the staff and each other. We just sat and enjoyed the tranquility of the place. It's the most peaceful place we've ever seen. In addition, we went hiking (with Rovie guiding us), kayaking, and the waterfall trip. The fireflies are so pretty also, and after a day of all this relaxing, we had the best meals. Every plate would impress Martha Stewart and the quality is even better. It is the perfect way to end an exciting and busy trip to Cambodia. Thanks to everyone for making this the most memorable experience! Enjoy dining here with nice view over Saigon. Calm atmosphere. Super nice service and delicious Hue dishes.Maison Polanka: "A laid-back, leafy oasis"
We had the great fortune to follow the excellent reviews of Maison Polanka on these pages and booked to stay four nights in the Khmer House from June into July. The standalone house was wonderful, though as others have noted the staff, the food and the garden and pool area were the real highlights after a hot day looking at Siem Reap's famous temples. It does feel like you are staying with friends rather than a hotel. Would highlight the quality of the food; the package we booked provided two set course dinners - so good that while we did eat at restaurants in the town on our last night chose to have another set course dinner with the gardens and staff to ourselves. Highly recommended slice of life outside a big 5 star hotel.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magical stay!"
"We spent 2 nights at Tiger Mountain but it could have been much more. Superb stay from our first pick up and welcome to our goodbye. From Pokhara it is about 40 min drive up the mountain on a typical Nepali road but then you arrive in an tranquil oasis where you will only hear the birds. Lodge is located on a mountain with sweeping views over Pokhara valley on both sides. Rooms have amazing views towards the Himalayas, perfect for sunrise watching (they will serve coffee/tea and cookies at about 5.30 in your room to accompany the sunrise) Upon our arrival, the lunch table was set on the terrace with a view to the Himalayas and we were served delicious Nepali dishes. Tea was served in the afternoon with home made snacks. Followed by happy hour at 6 and diner around 7.30. Again with delicious Nepali dishes. Had amazing jackfruit curry, some sort of stir fried ferns, spinach dish, home made chutneys, water buffalo curries. I think I would have exploded after a week at the lodge as I had to finish everything. Quality of the food is fantastic, all organic, grown in the area, fresh and everything home made. Even the herbal tea came from their own garden. In the morning there was home made yoghurt with homemade muesli, homemade jams & preserves, honey from Pokhara, homemade bread. Yummy. The lodge offers guides to take you for walks according to your liking. We did a village walk around the hotel and the next day a ridge walk where we had beautiful views over the rice terraces, villages and Himalayas. The guide took us through villages and explained about village life. Staff at the lodge is fantastic: friendly, helpful and offering great service. There is a swimming pool with again magical views, certainly in the early morning you can see the Himalayas reflected in the water. It is a shame it is so far away from Hong Kong otherwise I would be back for a relaxing long weekend. And there is only wifi in the lobby (if it is working, this is Nepal) so relaxing is really good as you can't connect to the outside world! Show less Room Tip: Room 11, a triple room, at the end of the resort with uninterrupted views. Room 10, double room, abo... "After a month of trekking and sight seeing in Nepal. Tiger Mountain was a much welcomed stay. Marcus was an absolutely fantastic host along with his staff. Both went above and beyond to accomodate and ensure we were having the best of times. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling Nepal // January 2018"Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Really special hotel experience"
We loved the terrific location on the waterfront, the great 1930’s design and feel, it is a very well run hotel, the staff could not have been nicer, they even gave me a present for my birthday. And the rooftop, L’Escale, with its stunning views and river breezes, served the most magnificent breakfasts and dinners- we could not fault them.
