Muang La Lodge: "2 jours formidables"

Review by: gwen2kast | Source: Trip Advisor
2 evenings spent in Muang La resort with my husband and our 3 children. Comfortable bedrooms, the hotel is a haven of peace ... months would have stayed longer. After several days of visiting nois recommend to stay 1 day 1/2 day quietly at the hotel to enjoy their facilities. In February pool a little cold but that's normal! No mosquitoes! Hot baths are absolutely idyllic! And meals are delicious and highly sought ...

Villa Song Saigon: "Great location, fantastic food"

Review by: michiel g | Source: Trip Advisor
Extremely well run hotel, the staff are outstanding. The riverside location is peaceful and stunning. Shuttle or boat to town if you want the bustle. Restaurant is good, but could do with less European dishes and more Vietnamese dishes. Breakfast is excellent, have the Pho.

Les Maisons d’Itac: "BEST PLACE EVER! Suite Télémac ❤️"

Review by: Shy D | Source: Trip Advisor
"It's been a long time since I've been in the Philippines and it was his first time to go for a proper visit (stopped over on the way to Australia back in '99). I wanted to make sure he sees how beautiful the islands are and make him experience local culture and the Filipinos signature hospitality without compromising some luxuries. Boy, oh boy, this place made an impression! Our first time in Cebu coming from an awesome 3 days in Boracay, we thought this place will have to work really hard to impress us. We arrived at the Cebu Mactan airport and was picked up by a friendly ""Kuya"" that we arranged with Sir Bryan. His car was clean and he let us do a bit of shopping at the nearby Savemore supermarket while he waited at the parking lot. I admired his patience. He told us it'll take around 3hours to get to the resort and I thought we were ok with it. I am not a very patient passenger, plus we just came from a tiring flight and barely had time to rest. I kept thinking that I made the wrong decision with booking this property because it was miles and miles (and miles) away from the airport. Eventually, we arrived at the resort late at around 8pm and it was already dark so I was like, ""okay, give it a chance in the morning"". We were lead to our private villa and I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect it was with our own pool, 3 rooms, a hut and a cabana! Sir Bryan called one of the girls to fix us a meal and it was delicious. I am not kidding, it was. We were the only guests because it was the town fiesta (festival honoring the feast day of their patron saint) and Sir Bryan was worried that guests might not be happy with the noises the parties might cause. I was warned about this beforehand but we were totally ok and were actually planning to join the party. In the morning, we woke up and our jaws dropped after realising how gorgeous the whole property was. Breakfast was unforgettable, especially the fresh mango smoothie/shake (so sweet and not even a grain of sugar was added in it!). On other days we had different fruit shakes and the staff made sure they were all fresh and perfect. The food, as I've mentioned, is simply perfect. Loads of activities around and we were luck enough to join the fluvial parade during the town feast and we had so much fun chasing and trying to get the passengers on the other boat as wet with sea water as we can. We ended up getting back after around an hour soaked, but incredibly happy. We had our first try with stand up paddle-boarding and it was great! People who like their own space and respect other people's will fall in love with this place. The marine sanctuary right in front of this property is a great indicator they care about the earth. It is one of the best holidays and resort I've been to. We left with a heavy heart and wished we could've stayed a bit longer. Will definitely try and visit again if we ever go back to the Philippines."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "<3"

Review by: tenithchan999 | Source: Trip Advisor
A few days before the trip, I happened to feel insecure about the trip. Because it was my first time to go such an adventurous place without my family members. As the day came, i still joined with my friends. My first impression about the hotel was the "Security" that they gave to me. I was actually over thinking about how dangerous it was to visit a place located in the middle of the river surrounded by the forest. But I felt relieved as they did everything they could to have my trust. My second impression was the interaction between the people and the environment. It was so refreshing and beautiful. That's how the nature is supposed to be like. My third impression would be the hotel, 4 Rivers Floating Lodge itself. It was incredibly amazing how the products that were placed in the hotel were actually could be decomposed and not going to effect the environment. The facilities that we needed in our daily life were placed in the hotel too even though it's on the river. I felt so safe and secure because they provided materials that could save us in some cases. The people were so nice and polite. The foods was great in every meals and the transportation was good too. I've learned something new there. I hope to visit that place again <3

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace and tranquility"

Review by: JESSICA A | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful, beautiful, rural location. You feel completely out of touch of the modern world and utterly in touch with nature and your surroundings. Amazing spa, best massages of my life and beautiful products to be bought here. As a real yogi I loved the yoga on the beach every morning free of charge! The food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating to my slightly poorly stomach (from previously in my trip) and made me food of the menu to keep me perky!

Misool Eco Resort: "Wow, What an amazing Place"

Review by: Paul F | Source: Trip Advisor
"this is the one place the journey to get there is worth the experience, the resort is spacious and well laid out the rooms are well laid out and the outdoor bathroom/shower while strange for the 1st time soon became normal. the food and the dining area was great, there is beer and wine available but no spirits or bar service, so if you have a favorite tipple then you will need to bring that with you, but food and accommodation aside you are here to dive and you wont be be disappointing, the house reef Jetty dive is probably the best house reef dives in the world, this is only location I am aware of were you can see Reef Mantas and Oceanic Mantas interacting at the same cleaning station, the variety of see life is incredible, Pygmy seahorse, turtles, sharks, Nudi's, corrals, if you can think of it there probably is one there somewhere, we even had whales passing the bay during evening drink times. if you are into photography, you are going to have a few challenges, makro, wide angle, video, the dives are so diverse you need every option available, the other challenge is the sea life is so rich the fish keep getting in the way of your shots... overall this resort is not easy to get to it is at the upper end of the cost market, but is it worth it, yes and Yes my last comment is a bit selfish since I have now had the honor of visiting this region is that we (the traveler) continue to seek out remote untouched places to visit, they then become popular destroying the reason we went there in the first place, the management of the resort and the sanctuary zone is extremely well done, i truly hope it does not bend to more commercial pressures."

David’s Kitchen: "Amazing Food and Wine"

Review by: ericgoodman2017 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Superb experience. Beautiful, calm space in which to dine. A graceful, accommodating staff, and a tremendous kitchen. My wife's printed name and mine greeted us when we reached the table. Nice touch. The menu is traditional French/Continental, exceedingly well-done. Highlights on the food side were the pumpkin veloute, the fois gras, the grilled duck breast, . We ordered one set menu (4 courses) and three a la carte courses; the waiter immediately offered to divide the extra soup course into two servings, which was thoughtful and kind, as was the rest of the very attentive service. The waiters and sommelier spoke excellent English, by the way. David, the owner, stopped by our table several times, and we had a lengthy conversation about wine, a passion for both of us. In general, ordering fine wine in Thailand is an expensive nuisance, because of the 400% import tax. As a rule, we don't, because you end up paying $50 dollars for mouthwash. However, the refined food at David's Kitchen cries out for good wine, and to make that possible, David keeps his wine prices LOW. I was delighted to find a bottle of St. Cosme's 2016 Cotes du Rhone for roughly the same price I've paid for it in US restaurants. Remarkable that it was both available at David's Kitchen and fairly priced. In summation, this is an exceptionally fine restaurant, one of a kind here in Chiang Mai, and if you are looking for a special place for a special meal, I recommend it most highly."

Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "An amazing experience"

Review by: Barbara19456 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had 2 nights here and just wish it had been longer. We were treated royally. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The room was beautiful. A fridge in room would be good but a minor point. We really enjoyed seeing village life and a chance to relax away from the bustle of the cities. All in all a fantastic stay.
