Sandat Glamping Tents: "Loved it!"
My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves and try glamping. We absolutely loved it! We stayed in a rice hut (Barong) and it was amazing. Staff were really friendly and always happy to help. Although the location is a little far out, the shuttle service acted like a personal driver for us! The road leading to Sandat was a little bumpy, but not a big issue at all. Breakfast was great as well. The whole experience was lovely and the quiet of the surrounding rice fields really made out stay more relaxing. The only drawback would be the wifi which was a little temperamental.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Floating luxury"
"This highly unusual hotel consists of 12 luxury tents, actually floating on the river and surrounded by nature The tents are very spacious. Many of their ""walls"" can be rolled up to provide panoramic top-to-floor ""windows"" consisting of mosquito-proof netting if you prefer a view to privacy. Each tent has a private veranda with loungers and direct access to the river. There is a nice sitting area, several fans that can be adjusted to your own comfort, a DVD player (and a choice of DVDs from the reception) and rain coats (which unfortunately we needed). The bathroom has a barrel shower, which we thought was fun. Breakfast is served à la carte and staff was extremely flexible to adapt to special wishes and changes. For dinner, there was a choice of set meals, but equally a large à la carte menu. The lodge offers a variety of excursions against payment (boat trip to the waterfall, canoeing in the mangroves and visiting a local school, hikes in the rainforest, sunset cruise) as well as a short free boat trip to see the fireflies after dusk. We were unlucky with the weather, as it was raining all afternoons and thus we were not able to do the canoeing or the sunset cruise. We experienced great hospitality and particularly appreciated that management was permanently around, actively engaging with the guests and supporting all staff. There is no wifi apart from an emergency access via the phone of the manager. We stayed for 4 nights."Satri House: "Ooh, this Indochine feeling"
"Wanna feel like a character in an Indochine film-noir? Stay at the Satri House in Luang Prabang and you will likely grow into it! Or just stay there because the place is more than perfect. Very atmospheric rooms: nothing beats this early morning light coming into the room through these shutter doors. Dwell around those steps and shady arcades and gaze at all these decorating items - where did they get all those beautiful things from? Two swimming pools, very friendly, professional and helpful staff, beautiful garden, great restaurant - what else do you need? LP is on walking distance, but you can take a hotel bike too."Mie Cafe: "Amazing"
The food is stunning. the decor very modern. And, yes, as per other reviews, the tuna tartar is superb. We will be going back for seconds!Supanniga Eating Room: "Great Thai"
Recommended by a Thai friend. The food was excellent. Great service as well. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday night, you have to book. At least a dozen people came while we were eating and had to leave, because it was fully booked. My husband prefers his food not too spicy and they accommodate him. All the dishes we tried were excellent! Very good value and nice atmosphere.Tugu Bali: "Very different"
Very beautiful room and great location! I will definitely come again for holiday.. The restaurant is very unique and serve one of the best food in the location, people are very friendly. Perfect for a holiday gate away..Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Amazing!"
Champagne cruise on the sunset was just amazing! The weather was not that good as we wanted to but we said to ourselfs “it’s just a rain, let’s drink champagne!” and have enjoyed this experience very much. Absolutely everything: staff, service, boat, champagne, snacks were perfect! This is very posh! Highly recommend!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing Experience"
This hotel gives the best experience during our April 2017 Kalaw-Inlay vacation. We ( husband and daughter ) stayed here for only 1 night and my 11 years old daughter request me to plan a 3 days stay next time :) Staff are very friendly and professional , especially on our arrival , Thant Zin welcome us with the warm and genuine smile and touring around hotel. Throughout the stay we experienced the hospitality of all. The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had dinner & breakfast there, we were so content with the oven fresh breads and croissant and the quality of the food. All in all , we were so happy and surely will come back again with all family members. My love of nature is completed by the surroundings , mini organic farms, aquarium , authentic Burmese cat village, birds chipping around the hotel . Thanks for your wonderful service & experience , Hotel Heritage !Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "One of my favourite places on Earth"
"We arrived to grey weather and the welcome was as warm as ever! Every single one of the staff here are smiling and welcoming, they treat you like very special guests and the service is wonderful! The chalets each have 2 rooms, so very private...the ""wake ip call"" come with a person serving you tea or coffee as ordered the night before...today was early because the mountains"" are here""... So in order to enjoy the view you get up really early, it is worth it! The food here is scrumptious, be it Nepali or western...one tends to indulge... "Satri House: "Very nice hotel with Italian management"
