Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Delicious and beautiful restaurant"

Review by: LeoDenfeldt | Source: Trip Advisor
Food is amazing! It's a degustation menu with a lot of plates, each one more exquisitly prepared than the other. Particularly the roasted caramelized pork was unbeatable! The place is beatiful and service quite good. The wine options had good wines for reasonable prices. And the cost: 31 dollar per person! Unbelievable! DO NOT MISS IT !

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxation at its best!"

Review by: joyce m | Source: Trip Advisor
"In real estate it all about location location and location. My husband and I stayed for three days escaping the hustle of Shanghai. Once you arrive at the lodge you realize all the troubles of modern city life just doesn't matter. Each guest becomes a member of your extended family as you hold exciting conversations about their travels over a delicious dinner that changes everyday. Around 9pm everything just goes silent and you will get some of the best sleep you ever had in your life. If you can rise in the morning as the sun climbs over the mountain and enjoy the coolness of the start of the day. Breakfast have a stabled set but staff is willing to alternate for your taste. We decided to see a local school along the river and it makes you appreciate the efforts of the teachers and students to make their society a better place. There are other trips like to the waterfalls and fisherman village that we did on previous visits. A note to travelers, the Tatai waterfalls isnt as strong in Feb due to it not being raining season (we also visited 4Rivers in Sept of 2013 and you get a wonderful natural massage as the water cascades on your body). Visiting 4Rivers gives you an added perspective of life in Cambodia and is a must see on your life list! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magical stay!"

Review by: Mariken v | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent 2 nights at Tiger Mountain but it could have been much more. Superb stay from our first pick up and welcome to our goodbye. From Pokhara it is about 40 min drive up the mountain on a typical Nepali road but then you arrive in an tranquil oasis where you will only hear the birds. Lodge is located on a mountain with sweeping views over Pokhara valley on both sides. Rooms have amazing views towards the Himalayas, perfect for sunrise watching (they will serve coffee/tea and cookies at about 5.30 in your room to accompany the sunrise) Upon our arrival, the lunch table was set on the terrace with a view to the Himalayas and we were served delicious Nepali dishes. Tea was served in the afternoon with home made snacks. Followed by happy hour at 6 and diner around 7.30. Again with delicious Nepali dishes. Had amazing jackfruit curry, some sort of stir fried ferns, spinach dish, home made chutneys, water buffalo curries. I think I would have exploded after a week at the lodge as I had to finish everything. Quality of the food is fantastic, all organic, grown in the area, fresh and everything home made. Even the herbal tea came from their own garden. In the morning there was home made yoghurt with homemade muesli, homemade jams & preserves, honey from Pokhara, homemade bread. Yummy. The lodge offers guides to take you for walks according to your liking. We did a village walk around the hotel and the next day a ridge walk where we had beautiful views over the rice terraces, villages and Himalayas. The guide took us through villages and explained about village life. Staff at the lodge is fantastic: friendly, helpful and offering great service. There is a swimming pool with again magical views, certainly in the early morning you can see the Himalayas reflected in the water. It is a shame it is so far away from Hong Kong otherwise I would be back for a relaxing long weekend. And there is only wifi in the lobby (if it is working, this is Nepal) so relaxing is really good as you can't connect to the outside world! Show less Room Tip: Room 11, a triple room, at the end of the resort with uninterrupted views. Room 10, double room, abo... Stayed: April 2017, traveled with family"

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing people, amazing place!"

Review by: Tom B | Source: Trip Advisor
My wife and I visited in January, and Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safari was our first stop in a week-long trip. After a 6 hour drive from Colombo, we were greeting at Camp with fresh towels, cocktails in the open air lobby, and then dinner under the stars. The food - wow, the food! - was delicious, the conversation with other guests enjoyable, and the service perfect. We did two game drives the next day and saw countless animals, including a leopard. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the animals, their habitat, questions we had, and more. The jeeps were well-stocked with snacks and sodas, and the food back at Camp between game drives - breakfast and lunch - was delicious. The curries, roti, and fruits were delicious. Lastly, we stayed in the standard tent the first night which was comfortable. I decided to upgrade to the luxury tent the second night to surprise my wife, and it is spectacular. Beautiful room, nicely decorated, and an A+. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Noel Rodrigo's Safari Camp to others looking to see Yala National Park and the infamous leopards.

Mathis Retreat: "Big nice room and pool by rice fields"

Very nice boutique hotel in Ubud. The room is very nice, clean, and the bed very comfortable. The swimming pool by the rice field is a superb way to chill in the afternoon. Free shuttle to Ubud center is a plus:)

CABOCHON: "Lovely small hotel"

Review by: caron m | Source: tripadvison.com
"Old colonial style boutique hotel with friendly staff. Quiet location on side street. Lovely rooms with interesting furniture and artefacts. Small pool on roof. Lovely smell of burning candles throughout. Cute little restaurant if you don't feel like walking out. Good Thai food plus western options available. Breakfast was good too. Good wifi connection. "

Sukoon Houseboat: "Luxuriously built, good service"

Review by: Krishna P | Source: Trip Advisor
"One of the few Luxuriously built house boats, with good service and a peaceful location on Dal lake. The rooms are well appointed and offer good warmth and privacy. The Bathroom is very clean and spacious as well. Their roof top open seating is lovely and offers great panoramic views of the Dal lake and the mountains. The food was alright, no complains just that they can try and offer more authentic Kashmiri cuisine"

Rachamankha: "An Oasis of Peace"

Review by: Just-retired-couple | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I stayed for just one night at the Rachamankha hotel at the end of our wonderful holiday in Laos (courtesy of Pandaw) and Northern Thailand. It was just perfect, from the large beautiful room, to the restful swimming pool, to the bar and dining room. Its close to the main temple, and also for last minute souvenir shopping, the ""walking street"". The quality of service was outstanding, and our evening meal, just a light one, tasted amazing. I almost didn't want to write a review, as I would like this place to stay as it is, an oasis in the midst of a vibrant city. When we come back to ChiangMai, as I hope we will, this hotel will be a no-brainer of a choice."

Reverie Siam: "Paradise in a small town"

Review by: panidaavni | Source: Trip Advisor
"RS was an amazing hotel in a very busy small town. It was truly wonderful to escape back to after a tiring day in the heat and humidity of Pai. The staff here are so welcoming and very accommodating. They greet you so warmly all the time. The shuttle tuk tuk was also very handy as it is almost impossible to find taxis when walking the streets of Pai. The breakfast menu was very impressive. Everything cooked to order. Try the Pai scramble. We took the family room which had the largest bathroom I have seen for such a size hotel. Beds were very comfortable and all the locals amenities provided in the bathroom are very nice touches. The soaps were great - lemongrass and coconut, all locally sourced and natural"
