This place is food divinity! The waiter offered me for trying the lamb chop. Uhmmm no words required, the lamb was very tasty!!! So juicy and tender. This place serves Japanese tapas with a mix of western Japanese. The food prepared here was something I had not seen elsewhere and was delicious. The staffs are very nice and the seafood are very fresh as some of their ingredients are flown in from Japan. I love the atmosphere where you dine next to the swimming pool. L'équipe francophone est au petit soin et n'a de souci que notre bien être. La cuisine (du chef made in France) est parfaite. Que dire de la propriété... allez y, vous serez charmé par l'originalité des lieux, c'est indescriptible tant il y a de sensations fortes. Great place, a paradise on earth. You can choose on the spot the places you want to visit and this in French, English, etc .... The owner speaks French very well because it is original Liège. "Wonderful unpretentious small resort, nicely embedded in lots of plants and palm trees. You will be greeted with a very warm welcome and personalized service. They will do all their best to make your vacation special. Food menu is really huge for a small resort and small restaurant, but they surprised me with great quality fresh thai and european dishes. And we are certainly not the least picky regarding food quality. On the menu you will find great thai kitchen to lobster or wagyu burger. For our kids we made sometimes special requests which were all handled perfectly. Some vegetables/herbs etc are organically grown in their garden. Even if you don't stay in the resort, be sure to visit the restaurant. Cocktails are of great quality, lots of gins with fever tree tonic are available. We also did a cooking class with Toy, their chef, and were grateful for the time and effort she put into explaining all the details of thai cooking. The cooking took place outside with a view onto the pool and beach, which was a nice detail! Our two bedroom pool villa had all required amenities and was very clean and decorated with love. There is also a spa, but in the end we didn't have time to try it out. Airport transfers were organized by the resort and were perfectly on time with luggage service etc. If you don't need a huge and maybe crowded resort like the W, Four Season, but prefer a more authentic familiar service, this is the place to go. "We had tried Tamarind a few yards along the road but they were fully booked so we walked on and found this place which seemed better. Took a great table on the terrace, plenty of room and overlooking the Mekong, couldn't have bee better! We enjoyed a really fabulous meal, plenty to eat and drink with the most sublime dessert. Two beer Lao, one vodka tonic, Khan Soy, Fried Mushrooms, Fish Cak, Tapioca, green veg for 363,000. Totally awesome with great service. The chef was amazing, very personable and greeted all his guests. The food was amazing and we tried both menus. I have to follow a gluten free diet and the chef made sure that some elements were changed for me. However, saying that there was very little on the menu I couldn't eat. This was our favourite hotel in Java. Not only are the staff helpful and friendly and the food is wonderful, it is a museum. The 'exhibits' are in every room, including the room we stayed in. The collection is amazing. It was a very special experience. It is in an old Dutch colonial villa which has been built on to in order to house the owners collection. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom quirky. Accueil, service, propreté, rien à dire sinon que tout est parfait, le restaurant est digne d'un 3 étoiles aux normes française. De plus, cet etablisement est géré par un français ce qui facilite le dialogue et les conseils sur les visites à réaliser sont d'autant plus appréciables. Nous conseillons cet etablisement aux charmes hors du commun. Attention toutefois si vous avez des enfants jeunes. Le nombre de points d'eau, piscines, ruisseaux font de cet établissement un endroit où 'il ne faut pas laisser vos enfants sans surveillances.
