David’s Kitchen: "Birthday"
I went there yesterday solo and it was the best decision that I ever made . The staff was so friendly and very professional. Almost like an white glove dining but the price is so much friendly . The owner David is very kind, he came to my table personally to say hi and sing happy birthday song to me . The food was excellent . Best pumpkin soup and escargots!! Everything else was also very delicious. Best restaurant in Chiangmai and I can't wait to bring my family and friends there one day .Villa Song: "Wonderful Christmas break"
We stayed 4 days at the end of December at the hotel. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free boat shuttle to district one. Don't often write a review BUT this resort deserves a really good report. It is elegant tastefully decorated gardens are delightful and restaurant excellent. Best hotel we have stayed in ever . Very French /Asian in style and it just works so well. Staff were wonderful to us and we were in the least expensive rooms. Shuttle to town when ever we wished and pick up at our convenience. Beautiful abbey turned hotel in the middle of the city. Nice amenities, superb sevice, plus scrumptous breakfasts included. Centrally located with only a 15 minute max walk to wherever you want to go in the old city.Maduzi Hotel: "Worth every cent"
Stayed here for 4 nights. Despite noise coming from the roads outside with Hawkers peddling their street food, the hotel remain very tranquil and peaceful. Love their unique breakfast (not buffet style). Location wise, it's is within walking distance from Asoke BTS and Terminal 21. Just walk through exchange tower to get on the pedestrian bridge. Room is spacious with an extra large bed. However personally I would prefer firmer pillows with support. Otherwise, nothing to dislike about this hotel. "Where else will you find hotel staff that welcome you back after a warm bike trip with cold towels and a smile? This is what makes Maison Polanka special; the personal touch. Every small request is taken care of. Room is gerat, pool fabulous and the food super yummy. I casually mentioned that my husband and I were on holidays for our wedding anniversary and just before we left, we received a Congratulations card, signed by all staff. The management is superb, each meal delicious, serene location in the countryside and wonderful staff. Also, the massages are special and the hot springs a surprise. We heartily recommend Muang La Resort to all.
