Rahai’i Pangun: "Best jungle boat experience"
My first jungle experience in Borneo on a beautiful wood boat, excellent food and friendly staff. Loved it!Supanniga Eating Room: "I Love Everything about this cozy little place!"
"Definitely a must try for call you Thai food lovers. Ivecwalked past this place several times and it's always packed with people and always a wait until today which I guess was my lucky day, so I took advantage of it and I'm so glad I did. Everything I tried was delicious and all the dishes around me looked so good as well. I'm definitely coming back for more. This is one place that once coukd never be enough. Great customer service Creative and tasty dishes Clean and cozy"Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Hôtel Parfait"
"Excellent hôtel-concept.
"One of the most beautiful places we have been ever. It s worth the price. Absolutely lovely bungalows, huge room, amazing bathroom with a nice external shower (option we chose), spotless clean, fruits every day and they prepare your room each night before sleeping time. Luxury and discretion. The food is the best we had in restaurants in Myanmar and we were lucky to chose the cooking lesson at local family since we could get some recipes and have a authentically nice experience with locals. We had some massages: excellent ! The place is so beautiful that sometimes you doubt if you should go out do something else We did not want to leave and keep great memorie"Sanak Retreat Bali: "Stunning view, great boutique resort, overpriced restaurant, great villas."
"Sanak retreat is an wonderful butique hotel. Stunningly beautiful situated in the rice field with an amazing view. The style of the hotel is balinese with a touch of the ""shabby chick"". Most of the villas have two floors. The bottom floor is completely dark and private with plants all around and the top floor is full of light, has a splendid view, windows all around and two porches. So make a deal with your kids before you arrive! No one wants the bottom floor! The resort truly appreciates its surroundings and don't play music, which we highly appreciate!! The restaurant have an equally stunning view, the pool is beautiful with sun beds and rice fields. There were almost no mosquitos when we were there, so you could enjoy all of your evening on the porch. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was fresh and great. They do a great childrens massage in the spa. Climate is wonderful up here. Even a bit chilly in the morning! We also had a 3-hour guided tour to the nearby rice fields and a water fall arranged by the hotel. The guide was absolutely great. Spoke good english and we learned so much about Bali. It was one of our best activities on our trip. We also did a jungle trek and canoo trip on a lake also arranged by the hotel. Also recommendable. So are there any downsides of this pearl of a resort? The restaurant prices were the most expensive we encounted in all of Bali and Gili Trawangan. They charge 35.000 rupiah for a Soft drink/ Coca Cola. You really can't go anywhere nearby to eat or shop and they know it. A little bit unsympathetic to exploit this to that degree. We just came from Pemuteran where the beach front restaurant charged 10.000 rupiahs for the same. Prices were generally the double or even more on comparable food items, e.g. Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng, Mixed skewers... Some travel agencies praise their food. We think it was okay, but not more than that. We ate all our meals here for 3 days. They have a childrens menu, but portions are so small that an 8 year old have to order two dishes to be full, so nothing saved there. A pizza is the size of a side plate. Generally the portions are small. We had no hot water for almost our entire stay. They sure tried to fix it but with no succes for more than 3 minutes. Toilets can't take paper, so you are asked to dispose it in a basket next to the toilet. Urgh! So a few downsides, but I will still recommend this boutique resort to anyone who wants to see the best of Bali. It is beautiful and you will enjoy the view!"Mie Cafe: "Small Restaurant Big Flavours"
"The first impression here is great with a modern restaurant in a ramshackle street. The menu is a great fusion of traditional Khmer and modern cuisine. The flavour of the food was as good as anywhere in Siem Reap and very reasonably priced. Our pork ribs fell off the bone and our chicken curry was delicate and delicious. The service was a little slow but I suspect there were quite a few trainees this night. Well worth the visit."Manukan Island Resort: "Beach villa"
Wonderful refitted rooms, completed in January 2017. Private beach and pool for residents. Delicious food. The resort staff cannot do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Day trips snorkeling and scuba diving available.Cuca: "Wow!"
A Michelin star must surely be on the way. The food is excellent and served up in a wonderfully playful way (one course came served on a flattened beer bottle!). Impeccable service too.The Apsara Rive Droite: "A gem in the jungle"
I don't usually write reviews but this is an exceptional one. A perfect & reasonable priced villa for a quick getaway and a relaxing laid back holiday...The manager, Mr Haan and the staffs are very hospitable and very dedicated to provide good service and assistance to ensure our stay is as comfortable and memorable one.Continental breakfast is excellent with fresh and warm croissants and good home made jam, and pretty table setting too...so lovely, ooh la la...All in all, we had a good time here and will come again soon...Villa Song Saigon: "The best hotel I have stayed at"
"I know that sounds like a big wrap but this was a seriously good experience. The hotel is a refurbished mansion (or facsimile of), it's right on the river and has all the charm of old Saigon. The staff are delightful. We were welcomed with a fresh watermelon juice and a smile. We stayed for four nights and had a river view room on the top floor. There are no lifts so if you are not good with stairs make sure you request a lower floor. The room was well appointed to a luxury standard with wide wooden floor boards, a king sized bed and a spacious bathroom. The mini-bar is complementary and there is free wifi. I really appreciated both these features. The pool is about 25 metres and surrounded by comfortable loungers. There is a small gym (but I found it a bit hot for working out). Breakfast everyday is also included and there is a wide selection of European and Vietnamese options to choose from. The staff always greeted you warmly and were very helpful. Villa Song is in District 2 and some way out of the main tourism precinct (District 1) however they provide a free ferry service which takes about 20 minutes several times a day to and from the city centre. It is a terrific way to enjoy the city and means you get to sleep at night! District 1 is so busy all the time it is nice to get away from it and chill near the pool or in the bar. We tried the restaurant for dinner as well and it has a pleasant fusian menu to choose from. There is a spa downstairs which has the usual array of treatments. We had the aromatherapy massage which was very good and set us up nicely for the week. You can book any of the popular tours and they will charge it to your room making organisation a breeze. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. You really do feel at home away from home and that is mostly because of the charming service. We would definitely stay here again."
