Satri House: "Wonderful stay in Luang Prabang"
"Not by the river, this hotel is nested a 5 minutes bicycle ride from the city attraction. It is a beautiful house, and the maintenance of this heritage house is just superb. Plenty of alleys, smalls buildings set-up on two different levels, it is a pleasure to gaze around, and discovering each corner. The rooms are specious, exceptionally clean, and the quietness over there is to be treasured. A big thank you to the personnel, who has been dedicated to attend every little request from us."Tugu Bali: "Unforgetable wedding ceremony"
Absolutely amazing place with very helpful and polite staff. Thanks to the manager And my dear friend who organized it I had the best small and informal wedding ceremony that I could ever stean of. Eventough It's pred expensive It's definitely worth the visit at least for the ambience and very nice appetizers.Inle Princess Resort: "Paradise in the middle of another paradise."
"The hotel lays on the lake, and you need to get there by boat. The trip is so relaxing you starting getting into the rythm. The last part of the trip, has to be done rowing, they do not allow the noise of the boat motors bother their customers. It is just incredible. They preserve the customer rest and we even got a note from the direction apologizing because a monastery nearby had night prayers due to some festivity. The room we got was facing the lake directly. We woke up in the morning with the amazing views, and even some ducks feeding right below us. We enjoyed the best sunsets and dawns from our room porch. We visited in December, one of the coldest months there (around 18-20 ºC) but we got the option to light our chimney (yes we had one) and warm up there. The restaurant was spacious and the food amazing. They service was super educated, we got a waiter very young that clearly was being trained and we could only praise the teacher and the pupil. We did not fully use the rest of installations, but we really enjoyed our stay. I would come back if I could."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Superb dining in lovely location with tastefully decorated restaurant."
We wanted to have a memorable meal on our last night after three years in Yangon, we were not disappointed. As soon as you arrive you enjoy the calm and sophistocated atmosphere, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with the table ware items in gold and whire all made in Myanmar, just wish i could find out where. The service is pleasantly attentive without being intrusive, the food is devine we opted for a set menu which was presented well and tasted fantastic. The garden owner chef and his wife add a personal touch and speak to every guest, they are charming hosts. Superb restaurant for fine and friendly fine dining. We were able to enjoy the garden and lake view it will be superb in the dry season.Locavore: "Best mark evet"
I tool a friend who lives in Bali here as a thank you for being a guide whiktin Bali. We are both foodies and have eaten meals at some good restaurants, i.e. Ramsay, rhodes, river cafe, boulud, tragebuches, blaue ente, vong, warning, mpw and I can state this was the best meal I have had in years. Save you pennies and go for the full tasting menu with accompanied drinks. Also I recommend lunch as then you can slowly see and recover in the early evening!!!Satri House: "Absolutely wonderful"
"This is a truly amazing gem of a boutique hotel. The manager introduced himself on our arrival and the staff were exceptionally helpful. There are 2 pools, a spa and lovely grounds to relax in. Breakfast is either continental with a range of cooked eggs or local. The basket of pastries was fresh and they melted in your mouth. The tomato jam is excellent as is the tamarind. If you ask the recipes are available. The room was beautiful with local antique furniture and if you ask they will provide a kettle and tea making facilities. You can also request a tv but with the balcony and gardens who needs a tv! Look forward to returning some day. Congratulations on your property and staff."Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Taste explosions all night"
Finally made it to Le Du last night, and it was amazing: we took the 6 course tasting menu, creating a long series of taste explosions in my mouth. Authentic Thai taste in a different, deconstructed form - like the short beef rib dressed as a Khao Soi (but without the soup), or the phenomenal river prawn with Chu Chi sauce (but not a curry). It's all very creative, well presented and served, by very nice and knowledgeable staff. Let's not forget the desserts, they are delicious and very creative, too. Nice wine list as well. Fantastic restaurant.Sandat Glamping Tents: "Perfect"
"We stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon. The ‘tents’ are luxurious and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much. They offer a free shuttle into Ubud which is very convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport is reasonably priced. I’d recommend for ease to use them as the vehicle is comfortable for the long drive. The declarations throughout the ‘resort’ are carefully thought and eclectic giving an almost grand feel. The food is lovely as are the drinks! For anyone coming to Ubud I’d recommend nowhere else."Cuca: "Favorite in Jimbaran"
I absolutely love what you are doing! Creative and passionate chef, you can feel the passion in all details. Service is very friendly and professional too. Love to come back.Villa Song Saigon: "Lovely hotel"
"Two nights after a long flight- excellent spa- fantastic views across the river - nice breakfasts and helpful staff. Shuttle water taxi works well and it's nice to return to relative calm at Villa Song. We would choose to stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. "Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
