Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Lovely relaxing cruise on the river"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
I have done the Shangri La cruise, a cruise on one of the big party boats and this Supanigga cruise, I have to say this was the nicest with by far the most authentic Thai food. The staff who served us were charming and discreet and one did not feel ripped off as people have mentioned on other cruises. There was a free flow of bottled water and the drinks were not overly expensive. I would not recommend this cruise for young kids but for a romantic evening for a couple or an adult family or friends group it isn’t ideal. A nice touch was the crew singing happy birthday to my brother and a lady at the next table with a candle stuck into the mango sticky rice dessert. I thought this was far better than serving a cake for a birthday meal as usually one is too full to eat the cake anyway. Overall a big thumbs up to this cruise

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Beautiful and charming hotel"

Review by: Ankercher | Source: Trip Advisor
Cabochon is a unique boutique hotel for people looking for a place different than the cookie cutter hotels in the city. Beautifully decorated and set back from busy street, it's still centrally located and close to Skytrain so very easy to get around. Staff were all extremely nice and the breakfast that was included was a nice selection of both Asian and Western options. Rooftop pool was also a nice option to have.

Tugu Malang: "So luxurious"

Review by: Carol W | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our group of five arrived at Hotel Tugu by train late in the afternoon. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us to check in. While our luggage was taken to our room we enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel is like staying in a museum. Tours are available but we were short of time. We enjoyed dinner by the pool before going to bed. We were woken at 12.30am and set out on our adventure to see the sunrise on Mount Bromo. This is a spectacular sight and well worth the journey. Warm clothing is definitely required. Don't forget your camera. We returned early morning to the hotel and had a few hours of sleep. That night we booked dinner in the King's room which is absolutely magnificent with so much to look at and so much history. We felt like Royalty seated at the table as we ate our meal. The staff went out of their way to make it a very memorable occasion for us. Next morning, after breakfast by the pool, our stay sadly came to an end we left for the airport. This hotel was one of the best that we have stayed in. We will definitely return again as our stay wasn't long enough to see everything that Malang has to offer. "

Rachamankha: "Pearl of Chiang Mai"

Review by: MariekeH123 | Source: tripadvisor.com
A beautiful hotel. Tucked away in its more hectic surroundings of Chiang Mai. Rachamankha gives you the opportunity to step away into a very peaceful and tranquil environment. Surrounded by Chinese antique and great architecture it is easy to feel at home.  The swimmingpool is clean, well maintained and again well designed. There is a library to dive into the background of Rachamankha's lay out, its design and architecture. The staff, so helpful, generous, professional and friendly. They even sent us - in no time - our daughters' birthday presents we forgot in the hotel room. High quality service, great food and better wine, a delight.  We don't like to visit the same place twice, but this hotel will be the exception.

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "What a great experience"

Review by: nathalieyes | Source: Trip Advisor
"I spend 3 nights at this beautiful Hanok and it was an amazing experience ! Rakkojae is in the hearth of Bukchon, in a very quiet alley. But still, its in the centre of Seoul, Anguk Subway Station is just 5 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants, sights, shops etc. are in easy walking distance (...) Dinner and breakfast are included, and are traditional and very tasty. You can also have a continental breakfast with toast and eggs if you prefer. Korean breakfast was with smoked fish (very tasty), abalone porridge (tasty, but a bit too excotic for me as a breakfast dish) and I was glad that on the third morning (I had continental breakfast on the second morning) there was a tasty soup instead of the porridge. The ladies who run Rakkojae are very friendly. I tried the Mud Sauna on the 3rd night and liked it a lot (so I wish I had tried it on the first night already). Overall, I loved it at Rakkojae, and can only recommend it. Its an amazing and beautiful place, that words can really describe. You have to go there and experience it yourself. And if you can, stay for at least 2 nights."

Flower Island Resort: "A gem in paradise"

Review by: Louise N | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent four nights here and loved it.The island is small with only one resort with a capacity to accommodate about 40 people. However, by the looks of it, the usual occupancy is about 10 guests at the time. The rooms are at the lower-end standard. Most have just a fan, but some have A/C. The double bed is small and with the bednet effectively stopping any circulation of air. I ended up sleeping on the extra bed, which was fine. The bathroom is big, but if you are one to enjoy hot showers - this is not the place. BUT; having said all this, Flower Island resort really was the place that made our holiday an unforgettable memory. The location on the island is just fabulous. The staff is outstanding, helpful and doing anything to ensure you have a great time. They offer super nice excursions at a fair price including lunch and drinks. Don’t miss the pearl farm which is really interesting and worth seeing. Also, the walk up to the tower is well worth the effort. The view is spectacular and you can even sleep up there and wake to sunrise... Snorkling; can probably not get much better these days when corrals are mostly dead or dying. But there is a lot of fish and we were lucky to see sea-turtles. Food has received various comments on this site. We found it quite good, although, since it is all-inclusive you don’t get to choose in case you don’t like what’s on today’s buffet. If you are looking for peace and a quite combined with excursions and the odd massage, this is as good as it gets."

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Fantastic boutique hotel on the river"

Review by: Traveler2129 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had 2 rooms and both were great. They are a little small but enough space for luggage. The room was well appointed. Mini bar and breakfast are included and if you are hungry you can have multiple breakfasts. The food was excellent. The outdoor dining area is beautiful and you don't feel like your are in the middle of the city. The staff are attentive and go out of their way to accommodate. We will definitely return. "

MAISONS WAT KOR: "Feel like home place"

Review by: Irma K | Source: tripadvison.com
"We staid for 2 nights at Maisons Wat Kor with our family and friends and everyone loved their stay. Rooms are good size, very tastefully decorated and clean, the garden is really big and relaxing to walk around. There is a connecting room for families with the kids! The kids loved the pool and little bungalow overlooking lotus pond where they could relax and play. The staff were always helpful and organized trips to town if we wished to do so. Though it was nice just to hang around the place. We also had Spa treatments on request. The restaurant is also a lovely place to eat in the evening. We enjoyed local cuisine and had nice evenings together. The breakfast are included and are also very good. Highly recommended for family trips, romantic stay or just relaxing weekend with friends "

Labyrinth: "Blown away experience"

It was a very pleasant dinner experience we had! We were looking forward to the next dish being served and each dish just keeps getting better. Recommend this place for anniversary, or a romantic dinner.

muang la: "A real Gem"

Review by: Gil W | Source: tripadvison.com
"We stayed three days and two nights in this slice of paradise. The setting is terrific and the service and attention to detail was even better. The fusion of French and Lao cuisine was sensational and the presentation a delight for the eye. The staff to a person clearly has been well trained and look for opportunities to please. We happen to be visiting a day after my birthday and of course they surprised us with an evening of lighting candle lanterns to send off good blessings into the clear evening sky. Truly a place to revisit and restore. Bravo on all fronts. "
