Had a great time, staff and hotel facilities excellent. The breakfast was very good and the dining facility was lovely and breezy. The room was spacious and comfortable and loved the outdoor shower. Pool also good.

Mume: "Food is very delicious! I will visit again!"

Review by: Seok Ting C | Source: Trip Advisor
Currently ranked #43 on the Asia Top 50 Restaurants, food at Mume is very delicious. The menu is ala carte, and the selections are short and easy to decide. The cooking is European-Asian fusion. Using a combination of Taiwanese ingredients and Nordic influences to deliver a modern, light cuisine. All the dishes I ordered were very good. I wish to order more, but I had a big lunch and dinner at Mume was early at 6pm. Great service. Will visit again. The restaurant is small. Please make reservation ahead.

Poring Hot Spring Nature Reserve: "Gorgeous Lodge"

Review by: RVESydney_Australia | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in the River lodge. OK, so the small water tank doesn't enable you to have a deep bath, but that didn't bother us. 2 great bedrooms, 2 enormous bathrooms, 3 sitting decks, 2 separate sittings areas, good air con and cable TV. Right next to river and entrance to the nature reserve. No internet but there is some at the resort restaurant (although not fast). Better wifi at Round Inn cafe near the car park (2min walk away). Staff were very professional and friendly. Additional service offered to see Rafflesia flower if one is blooming nearby. A guide drove us less than 10 mins to see one on a local fruit farm. RM30 each is a bit steep but it's a rare opportunity and hopefully it encourages the locals to nurture these amazing flowers."

Glenburn Tea Estate: "One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed"

Review by: jeroend883 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at Glenburn for a long weekend. It was an unbelievable experience. Set in a truly unique location the estate is immaculately kept. Very nice rooms with magnificent views. The dining room is one very large table where all quests eat together. The food is excellent. The estate arranged various trips for us. They are very accommodating. We took a long walk down hill, several hours through absolutely gorgeous tea plantations. At the bottom Glenburn estate has a little cottage where lunch (with cold beers!) was served. We could have walked back up, but chose to drive back up. Very convenient. its the perfect place to unwind and relax and get a feel for this unique part of India."

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Serious safari"

Review by: BigOilAdelaide | Source: Trip Advisor
"These guys are super professional and want you to see animals in the wild - and lots of them, hence lots of hours are spent 'on safari'. Guides are educated and friendly - they know all the species of birds, animals and we always felt confident and safe. And yes we saw leopards - but we also saw loads of other wildlife including elephants and tusker elephants, monkeys, peacocks, water buffalo, leaping gazelle thingo's, the list goes on. The food was exceptional - a lot of attention paid to traditional Sri Lankan cuisine with different food for every meal. Accommodation is not quite glamping but is around the mark with all the necessary quality amenities and your own toilet and shower. This isn't a party place - safari comes first second and third; lights go out early in prep for 5am dawn safari, but the drinks flow ok over lunch and dinner if you so desire. There is also an afternoon/dusk safari if you would prefer to snooze in the mornings. "

Hotel Tugu Malang: "Unrivalled favorite"

Review by: HortelanoF | Source: Trip Advisor
If you would ask me right now what hotel in the world is your all time favorite, this would definitely be it! As far as i am concerned, Tugu has it all to make me long for a next stay. Even though it was built relatively recently it has been conceived and decorated with such taste and eye for details that it transports you back to an era when time was so much more irrelevant. In spite of its location right next to the Malang town hall, the warm tranquility of the tropical surroundings seems to pervade every single corner of Tugu hotel. Afternoon tea is offered as it would be in a local market stall that somehow miraculously appeared on the first floor amidst the colonial antiques and furniture. Not one sound of the bustling traffic outside reaches the large, impeccably clean rooms, delicately scented with fresh Jasmin flowers, guaranteeing a good night sleep. Excellent beds, a breakfast menu so extensive and varied that you'd wish you could stay forever... Ah! And let's not forget the excellent wine bar (a little minus for the bartender though, who clearly had to look up the recipes of some very common drinks on his phone). If offered the chance, do take the guided tour of the hotel and you'll be surprized by what this gem has on offer.

Reverie Siam: "Incredible day and night"

Review by: Gina S | Source: Trip Advisor
"My boyfriend surprised me with a night at this beautiful place for our anniversary. I cannot quite begin to describe how amazing it is! The whole resort is decorated in a gorgeous 1920's pastel theme. We stayed in a private villa, the bed was incredibly soft and comfy, the bathroom was enormous with a great shower and we even had our own private jacuzzi! The staff were so friendly and attentive, never letting our wine glasses become empty. The food was outstanding, we ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant- the tapas is beautiful and my lamb shank at dinner was cooked to perfection. They have a bar down by the river which was my favourite aspect of the whole resort, at night the entire bar and garden was lit up with hundreds of tiny fairy lights, it really was beautiful. We spent the day by the pool which was gorgeous and tranquil. The only tiny downside is that I think there may have been slight drainage problems-the drain by the toilet in our bathroom smelled quite bad and ended up making the entire villa smell a bit funny. This was only a small issue though, and I absolutely cannot fault anything else. Thank you so much to the team for making our stay so special, I will never forget it. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"

Review by: Daisy J | Source: Trip Advisor
"This property is absolutely beautiful and it's the only property on Manukan Island. There's a private beach area for guests and a public beach area for day guests. Once I stepped off of the ferry and walked along the boardwalk towards reception, I immediately felt at ease. I spent a lot of time at the reception area because it was the only place where I could access the wifi. Everyone was absolutely pleasant, extremely kind and helpful. The suite is my favorite part and I couldn't believe how spacious the suite was for little 'ol me. I recorded a walking tour of the room because I was in shock by how beautiful the views were and how much space was allotted. Breakfast was amazing because the options were endless including traditional Malaysian dishes, a juice bar, an omelette and soup station, etc. The food options for lunch and dinner were also great. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer but I certainly hope I can come back. Everyone that I met was a gem, the space was beautiful, the food and drinks were also great. <3"

Cuca: "Great restaurant"

Review by: TMM773 | Source: Trip Advisor
This is the third time we have eaten at Cuca. Doesn't disappoint! The meal sizes are small and quite rich. We have enjoyed the experience each time we have been. Its not the type of restaurant you would eat in night after night but definitely worth a visit. Only negative - $15au for corkage! A bit steep when the bottle is only worth $25.

MesaStila: "Tranquility"

Review by: edandrita | Source: Trip Advisor
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "
