Supanniga Eating Room: "Delicious casual restaurant"

Review by: zousan | Source: Trip Advisor
All of the dishes were delicious. The fried beef jerky with kaffir leaves was very interesting and addictive. The masaman curry and another red curry also both excellent. It's a casual place but very tasty food. Would return and recommend if in the Thonglor area.

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Old School Elegance"

Review by: William_Genereux | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Wow - what a place. Right on the river. To catch a ride to the heart of District 1, there is no shuttle bus. There is a shuttle boat - a speed boat. You ride up the river, past all the barges and little tugboats - past all the major waterfront development as you approach the heat and noise of Ho Chi Minh City. Villa Song is located in an exclusive old part of the city, tucked away on its own - by the water. We had a room overlooking the river. It was amazing to look out and see a container barge floating by so close. The restaurant is world class in my opinion. The chef has some great ideas about ingredients and presentation. The pool is a bit small and cramped but who cares. This is Saigon, baby. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a late checkout - no problem. The experience overall was flawless. Highly recommended. "

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Once in a lifetime experience"

Review by: Jonathon1969 | Source: Trip Advisor
We only had one night at the camp but the experience will never be forgotten. The entire family loved it. The tents are basic enough to feel like you are properly camping but very comfortable (lighting, proper beds, camp shower, proper loos etc.). The staff are absolutely amazing - they really understand service and are completely focused on ensuring you have a good time from the moment you arrive. We did two game drives, 3 hours each, one in the evening and one (very) early in the morning. Both were fun and informative (enough to keep a 10 year old and 13 year old engaged) but the morning one was the highlight. We spotted a leopard and sat and watched it for 5 minutes as it walked right past our car. The food at the cap is truly fantastic. eating outside under the stars with other guests and telling tales of our safari was a real highlight. Danu was out guide and a complete professional. He knew every plant, bird and animal and was full of interesting information. The kids loved him. They run a really good operation, leopards cant be guaranteed but you will not be disappointed

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Right next to Khmer ancient houses and historical attraction places"

I have spent few nights there with group of my friends from Australia and Phnom Penh. We've enjoyed our stay very much, real Khmer villa accommodations, great pool, great local foods and friendliness staff is another plus to make this property stand up the most popular in Battambang town. I have no hesitate to come back again with my family and highly recommended this property to all kinds of traveller.

Tugu Bali: "Hidden Gem in Bali"

Review by: i_am_a_polar_bear | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed at Hotel Tugu Bali for 2 nights and it was exceptional. The hotel is located in a very popular area of Bali (Canggu) with great night life, beaches, and surfing. The staff was very attentive and hospitable. In particular, Putu, was very helpful at reception. He would go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. He would always greet us by name with a smile and arrange everything for us including breakfast, spa appointments, a shuttle to the airport, a tour of the hotel and even historical info on the antiques and artifacts on display.. The hotel is very unique in that it has a big emphasis on the atmosphere, decor, and mood. There is a large collection of antiques, but don't think that this means the hotel feels old. All the amenities are modern but the atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a tropical paradise. This is not your standard ""cookie-cutter"" style hotel. We stayed in the Dedari suite which is on the ground level. It is very spacious. It has its own entrance to a front garden before entering the room itself. It almost has the feel of a stand-alone villa. Unique features of this suite include a private plunge pool and an outdoor washroom. The bed is the most comfortable I have EVER slept in. It is bigger than a normal north american king size. I wanted to take it home. The breakfast options are amazing. And we had the option of eating anywhere on the premises. First day we ate on a raised cabana overlooking the beach. Second day we ate on a balcony overlooking the gardens. While in Bali we stayed at 3 different hotels in Uluwatu, Seminyak, and finally here at Tugu in Canggu. By far, staying at Tugu was the best. Highly recommend that anyone reading this should stay at Tugu Hotel. You will not regret it!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Home away from home"

Review by: jacquelinem449 | Source: Trip Advisor
"My 10the stay at this wonderful, simple and warm lodge. Staff are second to none, food is delicious, the views are simply stunning! Jhalak and Hari made us feel very welcome and spoilt us rotten! The rooms all have a view and are spread over the property in chalets. Morning tea is served there and used as a wake up call. No tv or telephones in room. This preserves the tranquil atmosphere."

tugu bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"

Review by: Judy B | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "

Labyrinth: "Creative twist on Singapore favorites!"

Review by: "Vegemitelover " | Source: Trip Advisor
"I had my eye on trying Restaurant Labyrinth for a while, but only decided to go after seeing the owner/chef profiled on the Food Heroes series (which is currently on Krisworld on Singapore Airlines). He was so passionate about showcasing a new twist on Singapore food, we had to try it. We visited on a Saturday night. All the guests appeared to be local. We tried the tasting menu. On an overall basis, the food was superb with very inventive twists to Singapore favorites. I loved the texture and the taste of Bak Chor Mee which was actually squid noodles with scallop, and also liked the Har Cheong porridge and the kaya butter toast. The beef satay however was a bit of a let down after all the other dishes as it didn't seem to have a lot of taste. Portion sizes were fine and I was very full at the end of the meal. The beverage menu was short. Service was pretty average however given the type of restaurant and prices, as was the ambiance. Overall, the restaurant was worthwhile trying for a special occasion for a unique twist on Singapore food."

Mie Cafe: "A Gem"

Review by: SylviaFab | Source: Trip Advisor
"There was a power cut during our first visit, they lighted up a lot of candles in order to carry on the service, we actually found it rather romantic ! My husband had the gourmet set and I had the scallops and beef curry, all very delicious. They gave us a discount as their appreciation that we stayed even there was a power cut, nice gesture. We went back for another dinner, we requested a table upstairs , very nice setting to look over the garden, unfortunately the next door restaurant was very busy with a lot of people and live singing etc. and hence we couldn't enjoy our dinner as much. Delicious food, attentive staff, great value. Would recommend this restaurant."
