Reverie Siam: "Stylish and peaceful resort"
"Thoughtfully landscaped and stylishly decorated this is a lovely place to stay. Not too far out of Pai town (they can provide transport), but far enough that you are not run down by some crazy backpacker learning to drive a motorbike. The restaurant food is delicious, especially the a la carte breakfast. (no fighting for the buffet). Khun Dee (the maître d) and staff are most welcoming. They have live music in the restaurant and at the bar beside the river. Altogether a relaxing treat."Heritage Suites: "Charming and relaxing boutique hotel"
Stayed in one of the executive bungalows for 3 nights in October and had a wonderful visit. The rooms are spacious with a steam room, and the staff are so attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend a massage at the spa (you get a 15 mins complimentary one as a guest), as well as the food and happy hour cocktails! The free airport transfer in a vintage Mercedes was a real highlight. Would stay again if coming back to Siem Reap.Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Amazing service"
Stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of my stay. I was welcomed and made to feel special for the duration of my stay. The rooms are relaxing and the resort very pretty. The staff were so polite and I was even given a birthday cake from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel as they will make you feel so welcome and take care of you.Tugu Malang: "Tempo Doeloe in East Java"
"A great hotel to experience Java in its true character and beauty. The hotel is right in the centre of Malang and the staff will do anything to make your stay a great one. Their English is very good, the food is amazing (wide choice available incl traditional Indonesian and western) and the decor of the hotel is stunning, a must see and hard to describe, just check out the photos and you will see. We stayed for the weekend with two young children and just chilled out in the room, spa, pool and with an occasional stroll to the nearby bird market. Stayed January 2017, traveled with family"Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Wonderful stay"
This is a wonderful hotel to stay at - staff are superb and friendly. Food is excellent - very tasty (the best food we had in Laos) and just the right sized portions. Room is very good and the only criticism we had is that there was no shower screen but it really didn't need one. Shame about the pool being out of action whilst we were there but Raphael compensated us well for that problem.Tugu Bali: "Art, History and Romance"
"We stayed for 2 nights and we're completely amazed by the special atmosphere of the Tugu Hotel Bali. This small museum of Indonesian art and history left us mesmerized. The lovely staff of the hotel made us feel at home and bringing hospitality to the next level. Our suite was wonderful, on the second floor with a huge Balinese style tub and great ocean view. Very rustic appearance, but with all modern conveniences and a very romantic and confy bed beautifully crafted . The natural beauty of the property gardens make it beautiful during the day and enchanting at night. We enjoyed the lush breakfast, with a wide variety of freshly made juices, that could be served anytime and anywhere we wanted. Every Thursday night the hotel has a cultural evening, with traditional dances what allowed us to know a little bit better the Balinese culture."Tugu Malang: "Such a wonderful place"
"During a round trip in Java we passed Malang and had arranged to stay at Hotel Tugu based on a recommendation from our Indonesian travel agent - and we were not disappointed!! Upon arrival we were greeted by the smiling and very friendly staff in the reception. We immediately felt welcome and 'at home'. At the same time we received a voucher for 15 minutes of (free) massage and an invitation for afternoon tea. The rooms are not large but large enough, with a nice bed and beautiful decorations ... especially the bathroom with the hand-hammered stainless steel bathtub impressed me. Even before we started unpacking we were seated in the museum-like lobby and had both Java tea and Java coffee served alongside the wonderful selection of small cakes ... in light of the easy access to coconut, the only thing I missed was the Danish 'kokos-toppe' (coconut tops) :-) Later we had dinner in the restaurant and after recommendation from the staff we had some excellent meals. In the morning we experienced the same eagerness to help and we ended up trying a number of both local and Indonesian breakfast dishes. A final observation ... all hotel managers - listen and learn ... when we checked out we got a small farewell present; - a package of the coffee used for the Java coffee, - we got a big smile and - a 'think of us when you have your next coffee'. This is so good thinking compared to other hotels which e.g. gives a Danish family 20% discount on airport transfer and a free membership of the Family Club if we come back to Indonesia with the family before Christmas. If I'm ever back in Malang I would not dream of staying anywhere else. Thank you"Villa Song Saigon: "Villa Song is fantastic"
"We, parents with kids (10 and 13) had two few day stays in Villa Song during our trip through Vietnam and it has been absolute bliss! The rooms are great and the staff is super friendly and helpful! The pool is big and, important in hot Vietnam, refreshing, and the fitness studio is well equipped with top quality Technogym machines. Then the food - breakfast available around the clock and everything you want, and more, is freshly made for you. The chef from Luxembourg is not only top-notch, he's also an interested and very friendly person. We can only give Villa Song a full 5* rating!"Les Maisons d’Itac: "Like home..only better"
"It has been a month since my friends and I had the pleasure to spend the most relaxing time at les Maisons. What can I say, it is a piece of paradise. We were really happy and so relaxed. The staff is more than staff, I really want to describe them as friends and family. Brian, Raiden, Marvin, Rose, Leah and of course Stacy, and our protector and compansion Itac. We miss all of them so much, we get nostalgic and homesick when we look at the pictures and videos we took. Once you have been there, you do not want to leave. If you have to, like us..one will be gripped by this constant wanderlust! Thank you so much for one of the best times! We will be back! FYI, the food is also really good!! =)"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "excellent food"
The first time to visit this fine dining of French cuisine and had excellent food and wine and cheese. It is a bit noisy as there is a party at one end . They said since it is raining they had no other place to accommodate them. We must say this is the best french food in the city so far. When the rain is over it will be a nice experience to sit outside on the bank of Inya Lake. Only if they have better music and curtains and drapes to absorb the noise, we will be delighted to enjoy a fine dining.Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
