Muang La Resort: "well worth the long trip!"
As you bump along a main road for hours to cover what looks like no distance at all on a map, you wonder what possessed anyone to build a resort out there in the sticks. And when you finally get there, have a welcome drink and a guided tour around the place, settled into your bungalow and are blissfully soaking in an outdoor hot tub fed from a natural spring, you realise that this resort is an extraordinary achievement of vision and hard work. It is managed and animated by two young men, who make it all look deceptively easy. Food is outstanding, imaginative and fresh; accommodation is large and comfortable, care is attentive and personal, nothing seems too much. We have only one regret: we should have stayed longer.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Simply the BEST"
"Rarely does one find a jewel like this, where staff and owner are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much. Marcus and his team really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing, rejuvenating. Then comes the view : simply breathtaking. And the cozy rooms in chalets built of local materials, all conscious of the environment and preserving it. And the delicious food : you can have just about anything you feel like, and much of it comes form their own organic garden, simply delicious! Thank you TMPL for a most relaxing holiday, without noise pollution! I will be back for sure."Jings Residence: "Boutique hotel with real Chinese character"
This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of historic Pingyao. The staff are very enthusiastic and keen to please, though the standard of English is not the same as in the bigger tourist centres in China. The rooms are around a courtyard and have been well designed: they retain a lot of original features but have modern plumbing, wifi access and other conveniences. Very nice dinner served with some style. Thoroughly recommended.Amata Lanna: "Hidden Gem! Best place to stay in Chiang Mai"
Amata Lanna was absolutely beautiful, the woodwork design adds a lot of character to the boutique hotel. Their interior design and furniture makes the place feels authentic. My stay was super comfortable, jacuzzi after the pool was such a treat, spa right in your room! The staffs are very friendly and informative. Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Chiang Mai. Make sure to check out the night market there. Will definitely come back again in the future.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Recommended place for escapade! Relaxation to the max!!!!"
Staff were very accommodating. Ideal place for relaxation, honeymoon...a different kind of experience...food was great too. Nice interior of rooms. You can see the enchanted place from your room. So romantic. Overall rating, superb!!!Tugu Bali: "A Hidden Gem – Romantic and Relaxing"
We had a wonderful stay at Tugu, Bali whose mission is to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia and it certainly does. It was by far my favourite hotel on the island. There are so many wonderful historical artefacts on the property, we really enjoyed wondering the hotel to look at them and learn about some of Bali's history. The hotel’s theatrically large entrance lobby creates an impression of grandeur. While there are plenty of unique areas to enjoy a romantic breakfast/lunch/dinner. What I loved about Tugu was the friendly staff and the attention to detail. Staying true to the romance element, when our room was turned down, beautiful poems were left by the bed with an array of fresh local flowers. The bath in our suite was incredible and the flower petals added to the ambiance. For Honeymooners and anyone looking for something a little bit special -Tugu is a must!Tugu Malang: "Super!"
"At Tugu Malang they really understand how to treat hotel guest. Such hospitality is rare but absolutely great. Each member of the staff goes the extra mile to please the guests. The hotel also doubles as a museum. It is really a fabulous place. Rooms are well equiped (not your standard decoration though). We also tried the restaurant: same story ... Staff is super helpful and friendly food ... A huge choice of dishes from malang street food, chinese, dutch and italian cuisine ... Pages and pages of dishes. The kitchen must be super organized because food arrives pretty quickly and was so really good. If you go to Malang.... This is the hotel to book"Mume: "Similar to Raw"
"Came here for a meal with overseas friends They don't have set meals, only a la carte. And the menu is short. There were 4 of us, and we ordered 80% of the menu. Almost every dish was spectacular - liver brulee, butter with beef fat, oysters, prawn with cheese, beef, fish etc. Service was friendly and excellent Overall similar to RAW , with slightly less hype and fame Will return"Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful colonial hotel"
A fabulous hotel with lovely staff. The hotel is beautiful from the outside and the room we had was great with a fantastic balcony overlooking the huge pool. The room itself was a good size with a lovely bathroom. The setting on the river is beautiful and the food in the restaurant was some of the best we had in Vietnam, especially the breakfast with amazing French toast! It's a great restaurant to sit and watch the river traffic go by and you can almost imagine you are in the middle of the countryside. The hotel is a little way from the city centre but they lay on regular free bus transfers and feels like a haven and welcome break from busy Saigon.Tugu Bali: "Good Service, feel Healing and Relax"
loved the embience of Hotel Tugu and around, enjoyed the facilities and the services very good, they always cleaned the rooms every time I went and got back with a clean room and fresh. all staff very nice and gracious, overall i like the hospitality.
