Maison Polanka: "Slice of Paradise"

Review by: Snowcoop | Source: Trip Advisor
After a long, hot day visiting temples, driving up to the front gates of Maison Polanka was a welcome relief. You knew from the moment you stepped through the gates, you would be well taken care of and be in an oasis of green. The staff treated us like long lost family and knew all our names from the moment we arrived. Our room (purple room) was spacious and well appointed with a great shower. It was clean and perfect. Meals by the pool were peaceful and delicious. There was really no reason to leave to go for meals. The swimming pool was small but the perfect place to cool off. My son (10yrs) was entertained by the bunnies and puppy and wandered the property freely. The tours and tuk tuks that were arranged were fantastic and reasonably priced. All in all, a great experience.

Rachamankha: "My favorite"

Review by: sarahpbucker | Source: Trip Advisor
"My second visit to his wonderful hotel. The rooms are simple and roomy and the building feels like a piece of history. Lovely staff and a great bar. Best gin and tonic in Thailand? The local Thai breakfast option was delicious and interesting. Definitely worth a try as it's so different to what we expect from Western breakfast. Pool is quiet. No kids! Great!"

Mathis Retreat: "Stunning"

Review by: Michelle B | Source: Trip Advisor
We only had two nights in Ubud at the end of our two week Bali holiday but I wish we had longer at Kenanga. What a beautiful peaceful hotel. Amazing rooms, helpful staff and such a nice private location. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Chakrabongse Villas: "Bangkok’s best kept secret hotel"

Review by: Tripp H | Source: tripadvisor.com
I only knew about this hotel due to the history of the Chakrabongse family, and therefore really wanted to stay there. Quite frankly it feels that you are staying in a private house in the epicentre of old Bangkok rather than a hotel. We stayed in the garden room, and even had friends over for dinner on the terrace for one of the nights. I wish I could afford to stay here every time I am in BKK, but think I will just have to settle for when I want to treat myself (and the wife !) to something special. absolutely brilliant place to stay.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Paradise on Earth!"

Review by: JP_SY | Source: Trip Advisor
"A wonderful place, a true Paradise away from it all by the Arabian Sea. Our little cottage overlooking the sea could not have been more perfect. The bed was really comfortable. The spacious semi-open bathroom, with a palm tree growing out of it was a wow! Showering sort of “in the open” in those temperatures was wonderful. Plenty of drinking water was provided, fresh fruit and coffee when you wanted it. We didn't eat in the main restaurant but chose to eat at the beachside. Freshly caught fish cooked in your choice of style, we could never tire of such delicious food and the service was amazing. Even mentioned something we fancied that wasn't on the menu and later that day they got it in for us and said would cook it just as we liked. We even tried yoga for the first time, a session before a relaxed breakfast on the beach – try it! We went for long walks along the sandy beach and didn't see another person, just birds at the edge of the sea, fishing. The sun, the sea breeze, the quietness – truly magical. A dip in the lovely pool, then back to our cottage to lie in the hammock- this is the life! Check out the little shop, and the tailor is brilliant if you want something made in quick time. Jayan and all the staff were so friendly and made us really welcome, they were always there to help. We really hope to return to Neeleshwar – Paradise on Earth..."

Tugu Lombok: "Bliss Bliss Bliss"

Review by: hotelhotel777 | Source: tripadvisor.com
One of our favourite hotels we have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and sincere and make you feel so welcome. The ambiance is spectacular with all the antiques, open areas, blue ocean, just breathtaking. We recommend the fresh caught fish of the day Indonesian style. Great food! Thank you so much and we will definitely be coming back again.

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Classic Modern"

Review by: John T | Source: Trip Advisor
"Well, may not look busy but great menu with fusion of traditional and western influences. Don't be put off by what may appear to be lack of patronage. Staff are well trained and friendly. Try, Fish Cakes, Pumpkin Curry, Buffalo Cheeks (Yummy) etc., Manager, Chris can discuss any special requirements. This is also a highly regarded boutique hotel on the Historic Peninsula over looking the Nam Kahn river. Stayed January 2017"

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Perfect for a Bangkok break"

Review by: Ran13 | Source: tripadvisor.com
Perfect stay from beginning to end. Staff were incredibly friendly and always looking to assist. Great location, just off sukhumvit road and 5 mins from the Skytrain, yet feels wonderfully tranquil and cut off from the hustle and bustle. Have already recommended to friends visiting in the near future, and will most certainly be returning ourselves.
