The Island Lodge: "Lovely Resort and Location in Mekong Delta"
Glad we did find this beautiful place in Mekong for a relaxing week end. Location is overlooking Mekong, the Resort itself is welcoming, well decorated with a colonial feel. The Owners are french and run as well the operation with a lot of passion and kindness. Staff are well trained and genuinely smiley. We will be back :).Satri House: "Charme et raffinement"

My husband and I agree that this is one of, if not the best, restaurants we've ever been to. It's more than comparable to any Michelin star or rated establishment, we were actually really surprised they haven't been properly recognized. Not only was the food high quality, eclectic, delicious, and well portioned, the service was beyond 5 star. We went on a Friday and didn't realize until after our Saturday tour that they aren't open on Sunday or we absolutely would have gone back. We wished we had one more night in chiang mai just so we could go one more time! The employees were so on top of things and David made sure to visit every table for a personable chat. He emailed us the next day and recounted some of what we discussed(which was nice considering we were so jetlag we could barely keep our eyes open past the entrees!) and wished us well on our upcoming relocation. I truly wish David would open another location in NYC, although it wouldn't be the same without the man himself!Satri House: "Like home: in a prince’s former residence!"
"Staff is just wonderful, always going ""the extra mile"", if, for example, you appreciate an extension of your booked room to take a nap until it's time to leave for the airport. Food, both lunch and dinner, is most delicious. Rooms are spacious, quiet, all with wifi. Pools and lots of lovely areas to relax...Library and fireplace: perfect setting for a glass of wine,- or two... All in all: I wish them every success! Tugu was everything I expected plus more! If you are looking for an authentic Bali experience with its old world feel and amazing friendly service and care than look no further. The hotel is also located in the very hip Canguu area and is a hop step and a jump from the beach. You have everything here from an amazing spa, serene pool (which we had to ourselves) and a rooftop bar and restaurant. We will be back for sure!Supanniga Home: "Nice stay in Khon Kaen"
We had the Velu Villa. It is a nice modern villa of 2 rooms. The garden of the Supanniga is very nice with a lot of squirrels (so nice) but too many mosquitoes (less nice)...the staff were friendly and breakfast good. We will go back there certainly.Mume: "The perfect place for dinner"
"I read about Mume just days before a quick trip to Taipei and to my luck the restaurant had availability! I loved the relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, open kitchen and how the design of the restaurant makes good use of the space. The size of the tables are very comfortable and you are seated at a nice distance from other guests. Cocktails were of course delicious and the food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was perfectly balanced in flavour, texture and appearance. Each dish showed creativity, brought excitement and every bite was wonderful. We stayed here 1 night before flying back to Europe. Everything about Tandjung Sari is just excellent. The staff are professional and helpfull, they will go the extra mile for you with a smile. The place is perfectly well kept, the bugalows ooze luxe, comfort and classic Balinese style. Food was great, excellent by-the-glass wine choice and do try the banana fritters with icecream. One of my best hotel experiences ever, and I travel a lot for work and pleasure. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made sure that everything was perfect for us. This small hotel has a very unique, authentic feel to it. I believe it only has about 26 rooms, so it has a small, elegant character. After spending several weeks site-seeing around Thailand, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Some highlights were the pool, which was never crowded and the hallways and sitting area at night which had amazing incense burning. This is a lovely little bijou hotel, filled with Indonesian and Chinese antiques and art, conveniently situated right in the heart of the old town facing a pleasant open square. The architecture, like the rest of the hotel, is slightly idiosyncratic and charmingly individual, which differentiates it from the usual run-of-the-mill ‘international’ hotels. The staff in reception, housekeeping and the restaurant are exceptionally efficient and helpful in a relaxed, friendly way. The restaurant has a wide selection of cuisine – Indonesian, Chinese and international – which often spells trouble, because it is difficult to keep such a range of ingredients fresh. However everything we ate in a week-long stay was fresh, delicious and cooked to a every high standard. If you visit Malang, I would definitely recommend this as a most enjoyable place to stay.
