REVERIE SIAM: "Simply the best"
My wife and I drove to pai which was fun and stayed at the reverie for one night and enjoyed it so much we kept extending until we had no choice and had to come home and stayed 4 nights in total. Best hotel I've ever stayed in and can't really find a single negative. Great value and if you waVilla Song Saigon: "Amazing Stay and Service"
"We had a magnificent stay at Villa Song! I would totally return to this property and would recommend it highly. The staff was so accommodating and could not do enough for us! The chef, Kevin, was amazing and the food was superb! Everything was perfect from our check-in (loved the watermelon juice, so refreshing after a hot taxi ride from the airport), wait staff, porters, housekeeping, etc! I hope I have the opportunity to return to Villa Song one day! Job well done, you should be proud!"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fabulous Respite"
"We stayed here after a grueling six day trek, and what a welcome reward it was! From the moment we disembarked from our jeep, up the steep driveway to the property, our entire group was awed. Literally perched on a mountain top, you have sweeping views from both sides of the mountain. The villas scattered around the property work to maintain privacy, while the beautiful common area has little nooks for privacy, or you can choose to sit on the beautiful verandah, to take in the views, have a drink and rest. The dinner, meanwhile, was delicious, with the tables elegantly set in a non-pretentious way. The villa was beautifully decorated, and again, after our hard work and life in a tent on the trek, the luxurious bed and bathroom was so welcomed! It is truly a retreat - either from the demands that wonderful Nepal asks of you as her traveler, or from the demands that your daily life asks of you. I will certainly return - and might just take in one day in Kathmandu, then come directly back to Tiger Mountain Lodge for three days of beautiful relaxation and rejuvenation."The River Resort: "Luxury retreat on the Mekong river."
Lovely peaceful resort style hotel. The location is right on the banks of the Mekong with most rooms looking directly across the river. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very well laid out. The restaurant caters to both western and local cuisines with lots of choices, all very good. The spa is good although our massages were not consistent. There are two nice pools to choose between. The staff were exceptional. The wifi was also good.Satri House: "Such a treat!"
It's been more than a year since I stayed here, but this place was so good I still remember it fondly and it definitely deserves a positive review. I visited here by myself for a few days relaxation and R&R - Luang Prabang and Satri House are absolutely perfect for that. Everything about the room was perfect. I loved the bathroom, which is always a good test of whether a hotel is at the top of it's game. The pool was also divine. I would stay here again and again. Will definitely be coming back. Satri House is definitely in my top five Asian hotel experiences!Villa Song Saigon: "Superb and enchanting"
"You have to go to believe how unique it is . The speed boat to downtown Saigon was the icing on the gateau. We arrived mid morning and were offered complimentary breakfast . Our rooms were most exciting . I shall never forget Villa Song . "Misool: "If it was possible to give Misool more than “5 Stars”, I would!"
"This was hands down our best vacation ever! Yes, the destination in itself is dreamlike and exclusively unique; however way beyond that is the amazing staff who work there who truly go above and beyond to make sure that guests have the most memorable experience ever. Assistant resort manager Sue regularly communicated with me via e-mail over a year prior to our trip constantly answering questions, and tailoring accommodations to suit our desires for our trip as well as coordinated many surprises for us when we arrived. Dive/Recreation manager Sabine worked out a schedule with me that provided an even distribution for time underwater and to engage in different tours & activities they offer at the resort. Sabine (a kick-@$$ photographer btw) even took personal time out of her day and assisted my wife and I with an anniversary photo shoot for us. The food at the resort is absolutely delicious. We did not have one bad meal there. The only thing remotely negative about the resort experience is that the ferry boat to get to Misool is a bit ""challenging""; however, in the grand scheme of things, it is a minor negative. My wife and I are fortunate to travel to many great destinations and while we entertain the thought of making return trips, we often decide to explore a new destination. However, after our experience at Misool which was without a doubt our best vacation ever, we are definitely going to be planning a return trip in the future! If you enjoy diving, snorkeling, remote solitude, tranquility, and the most delicious meals, I highly recommend taking the journey to experience this fabulous luxury eco-resort."Samanea Beach Resort: "Perfect for families"
"We stayed with several friends at Samanea, most of them families with kids, who loved the setting and the experience at the hotel. The villas are probably the largest in Kep, with huge beds and sitting areas. The showers are a special experience, and the outside seating areas are comfortable in rain or sun. The pool area is excellent, with a great size suitable for both kids and adults. The view of the sea is stunning, with a huge pier that is great for photos and sunsets! There are so many places on the resort to relax, with the nice canopy of trees, pool area, and sea view. It is not walkable to Kep beach or the crab market, so definitely need some sort of tuk tuk or rental transportation. What we were stunned most by was the excellent service--accommodating all of our needs and always helpful with all of our requests. Definitely recommended for long stays in Kep!"Tugu Malang: "Tempo Doeloe feeling"
The hotel is a mixture of luxury and history. The rooms give a feel of the "good" (only for the Dutch) colonial old times, with the hand hammered baths. And the whole atmosphere is the hotel is friendly and service minded. The for is excellent and the hotel itself has a fantastic mix of antiquities within its walls (Chinese (most), Dutch and Indonesian. It was a pleasure going to the rooms with my 17 year old daughter and see her recognize drawings and pictures of Kublai Kahn and Sun Yat Sen. Great hotel.Satri House: "Wish I could stay longer"
"I was really looking forward to staying here having looked at the hotel website before leaving home. Sometimes the reality can be a bit of a let down but at Satri House my expectations were exceeded. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are lush and well cared for and the decor just perfect. I adore old colonial styling and Satri House really delivers. The rooms are exquisitely decorated, tastefully furnished, clean and comfortably, and have all the amenities you require. There is no in room TV but that would not fit the ambience of Satri House and as we all know there is never anything worth watching anyway. Since we all travel with smart phones and tablets this is not a problem and there is wifi in the rooms. The staff are all very friendly, particularly at the poolside bar where we were well looked after by Ban. Breakfast is a la carte, which makes a nice change from having to keep going up to a buffet, with a good selection of dishes on offer. I particularly liked having a decent sized pot of tea in the morning. As the title of the review says , I wish I were staying longer. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
