Les Maisons d’Itac: "Paradise on Earth"
Beautiful place, beautiful accommodation in a wooden cottage. Excellent host Bryan. Perfect place for relaxation and lovers of high-quality architecture that is perfect in every detail. You can snorkel right next to the hotel in beautiful coral reef. Home cooking was excellent. I would like to thank all the staff for a dream holiday.Villa Song Saigon: "Just perfect"
"Villa song is a little gem of a boutique hotel by the Saigon river away from busy HCMC, which can be reached by free shuttle in under 25 min. It has a pool which is a godsend after a hot day in town. The room was lovely spacious and well appointed from the Nespresso machine, kettle, free mini bar, apple tv remote if you wish to download some stuff... i could go on and on. (...) The personnel was very attentive eager to help always with a smile and well organized, which is a credit to the management team. This was the most perfect way to end our tour of Vietnam, we left on a high note though wishing we had stayed longer. I don't think you will find anything better that this hidden gem"Inle Princess Resort: "Go on, splurge,on the lake villa!"
"Immediately, the door opened and I was speechless, the huge windows made me feel like I was floating on the lake itself...simply stunning. The complimentary mini bar was a pleasant added touch as I sat back on my private balcony to watch the sunset. The room was immaculate and spacious. The bathroom complete with outdoor shower was clean and well equipped. The resort is in a secluded corner of the lake and you really did feel like you were far away from the hustle and bustle of the jetty town. The boats themselves must switch off their engines before approaching the resort which makes for a charming introduction to the brilliant foot steering of the local boatmen. Breakfast was made to order and the food generally was of a high standard. I loved seeing the two Burmese cats making themselves at home in this little piece of paradise. Inle Lake was really one of the highlights of my trip, in fact, I could have spent a few extra days here just enjoying the lake life. Trekking on the furthest reaches of the lake would be on my to do list when I return."Pindaya Farm House: "Locally run delight of a hotel."
"Clean, simple rooms in a wonderful location, this small family run hotel is a perfect place to stay. The best food in the whole of our time in Myanmar cooked by our hosts. They offer trekking outings with packed lunch and cookery demonstrations, a real gem. If you want local people to benefit directly from your trip this is the place to stay."Villa Song: "Beautiful boutique hotel"
"This hotel is an old french colonial building on the banks of the Mekong river in District 2. The rooms are beautiful. By circumstance, we had the opportunity to experience three different rooms in the hotel. The Riverview rooms have a better view, but are noisier with the restaurant below. The garden/pool side rooms are quiet and the view of the garden is lovely, but beyond that into the distance it's just a neighbourhood view which is nothing special. The restaurant serves excellent food - I was actually surprised how wonderful everything we ate there was. There is a free shuttle boat into the city, which is a nice perk."Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Great food and a great way to see the river"
This is definitely a very good alternative to the other cruises. It's quiet, relaxed, the food is great (and they were very kind with providing non-seafood options when asked in advance), and the glass of champagne was certainly welcome too!Samuay & Sons: "Simply The Best Thai Restaurant in Thailand"
This restaurant is best described" Simply the best Thai restaurant in Thailand " We went there after reading a few reviews and so happy we managed to get a table on our first night in Udon Thani. We got there at almost 9pm at the suggestion of the owner because there was a big group of guests at 8pm and he did not want us to wait long for our orders. We were a bit hungry when we got there and ordered more than what we could eat but at the suggestions of the owner we cut down a few dishes to save some spaces for their desserts. The desserts we had were " something to die for ". We enjoyed every dish we had. No need to guess where we went for dinner the following night. Service was also excellent and definitely very good for value. We wish there was a Samuay & sons in Bangkok.Tugu Bali: "Old world charm with the location to match"
"We asked for a beach view and we definitely received one. Great view of the beach/sunset with the sound of the waves constantly crashing in. The room had so much old world charm about it that it really makes you wonder what has happened to the current state of hotels. The entrance hall was breathtaking with the high ceilings and the massive timber beams scattered throughout. Staff were second to none and all the Indonesian/Balinese inspired meals were also a highlight. We left as relaxed and refreshed as we ever have after a few weeks in Bali. We will be back in again in a few months."Tugu Bali: "Very lovely"
"A true TUGU experience. Peaceful, good service. They have a lawn area with direct access to the beach.Turn left and the beach goes on forever and it's a clean beach too (a rarity in Indonesia). Anyway the room are beautiful, it has a lovely garden and as usual the hotel is full of antiques and artifacts. To note: The rooms upstairs have access via a spiral staircase, it quite steep. (this might be a consideration for some if you have mobility restrictions or don't like heights) The restaurant was good but pricey for the quality (I'm used to Jakarta price/quality ratio)"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Luxury in the wild"
"Our 2 night stay with NRLS will be a treasured memory. The luxury tents were set amongst trees to ensure privacy and were well equipped with lots of little extras including a flush toilet and a hot shower, without taking away from the camping feel. The atmosphere was friendly and we quickly felt relaxed and at ease with the staff and other guests. The food and drinks were plentiful and served communally allowing for good round table conversations with other travellers and our guides. Most of the food was Sri Lankan which was tasty and beautifully presented which added to the cultural experience. One of the highlights of our stay was our guide Dhanu. From the moment we arrived we sensed the passion and drive he had for his job. He has great knowledge of Yala and the wildlife which he shared constantly during our 4 drives as well as giving great photography tips. We were lucky enough to have 2 leopard sightings one of which lasted for about 15 minutes with no other jeeps around. We also saw elephants, crocodiles and lots of birdlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at NRLS and would highly recommend this safari experience. Thank you all for a wonderful wildlife adventure."
