The Village House: "Great stay away from the buzz"
"We stayed in April, trip with my mother. This hotel was a little further out but they were so great at helping to arrange transport and packages before we arrived: orang utans, bake national park etc. The hotel was small, simple, clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful, but what was most surprising was the food! It was delicious, perfectly prepared. A walk along the beautiful, wild beach is also definitely recommended. Not a swimming, crystal clear waters beach, but wild and gorgeous. I would recommend for a quiet getaway in a great location!"Misool Eco Resort: "Little paradise resort"
The place is close to a lot of very nice diving spots. Staff is nice and friendly, food is good and the overall atmosphere will make your trip unique. Highly recommended. The trip is long but it's worth! The Hue House: "Lovely Restaurant"
The place so nice, staff so lovely... and food also delicious. You should to come in the everning and enjoy this place. The Village House: "Relaxing romantic retreat"
"My boyfriend and I drove down to this getaway after an afternoons walk around Bako park. We found this place through agoda and thought we should give it a shot. Fair warning, the place is very hidden and it does not look like much from the outside. There is no sign at the gate, but since it was google-able, we called the hotel straightaway to get clarifications on the place. Sure enough we found the place! When we arrived, we thought maybe we would be the only ones there, because of how isolated it was... but come dinner time, a few other couples came out of their rooms.. dinner was delicious The staff was polite and kind. However I must commend the service and kindness they gave. We checked out and left for kuching city and had forgotten my shoes behind. One of the staff offered to bring them to town as he was going to the main office. I was sooo thankful for that! Was pretty bummed in the car thinking we had to drive 50mins up to Santubong again and back down to town again. So, thank you very much for bringing my shoes to me! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Malang: "Coming home"
"Stayed there many times before. This time back after 3 years. They welcomed me at reception as a friend and made me feel at home immediatly. Very nice hotel, excellent food and very friendly staff. Every 15th of the month they have a dinner with traditional dancing, fantastic. So far the nicest hotel in Java for me, very cosy and looking forward to go back the next time."Mie Cafe: "Something to remember besides temples."
Awesome food in a matching atmosphere. If you are into food and want to impress your wife/partner/affair, this is an appropriate place to go. The set menu will give you a variety of flavours to cherish. There are nice wines to compliment it. Price is higher than average but very fair for the quality you get. Extra nice evening!le passe temps: "Back to human values"
"This place is just a little paradise in a busy life time. The hosts are sinceres, human, warm, smiling and dedicated. Their team is their mirror, they make you feel home without being intrusive. A large choice of activities and amenities are offered, you can enjoy the time passes on the beach with book and drink, or a trip in their private boat..... At night you can drink fantastic cocktails and meet your neighbours to share your life, book, movie, emotional experiences. In the ""Passe temps"" the best human behaviors can be rediscovered! "Supanniga Eating Room: "Amazing and varied selection of great food"
Great little find this restaurant, fantastic food in a good location that is both quiet and accessible. I highly recommend the Isan-style Pork Steak.Cuca: "Stunning – Bali at its best"
This is worth the visit no mater how far u need to travel. Try and sit at the bar and watch the staff cooking preparing with loveInle Princess Resort: "Beautiful and quiet lake site resort"
"We arrived at the resort by boat from Nyaung Shwe. Some 100 m from the hotel, motors are no longer allowed. A rower came on board and leg-paddled us to the jetty. This exemplifies the resort's emphasis on quiet and relaxation. Our cottages were on the lake. From the terrace, the sunsets were beautiful. Our room had binoculars provided for bird watching. A spa with a massage menu, bicycle rentals, and a swimming pool rounded out the offerings. Breakfast and dinner on a sundeck were tasty and included a sampling of local and Shan cuisine. I highly recommend the resort. Room Tip: Lakeside cottages were private and delightful."
