VILLA SONG : "Simply the best!"
2nd year (4th visit) at the Villa Song Saigon and certainly won't be our last. Lovely hotel in a perfect location and the management, Yega Miss Thuy, and Kevin, together with their ever smiling staff, go out their way to make your stay memorable. We have visited many countries but overall the Villa Song is our favourite hotel. Already planning our return.Inle Princess Resort: "Luxury relaxation"
"This is the perfect place to relax during your visit to Myanmar. Settle in for a slower pace and just admire the scenery. The rooms are very large and have an amazing bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a full tub. We had a room on the water with a lovely view of the marsh. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the water. The property is a long drive from the airport so be prepared for that but it's a interesting drive. The hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. Use them to arrange tours of the Inle Lake area for $30-$40 dollars. We visited many of the local attractions- lotus/silk weavers, boat makers, cigar makers, cat monastery. Some have a small tour but nobody was pushy. The restaurant on the property is very good which is great since there are few options for dinner off property due to the fact that it's a bit of a drive to town and I don't think the boats run after dark. You can't go wrong by booking here."Sukoon Houseboat: "Superawesome!!"

This is our 3rd stay at the Sea Dance , which speaks volumes. The staff at Sea Dance are so welcoming the food is sensational ( must do Sunday brunch ) Truly a wonderful place to stay even better with the addition of a Spa We plan to go back very soonLocavore: "Still surprised after reading all the reviews about Locavore"
"It doesn't happen to me very often, but in this case the atmosphere and expectations raised by the reviews of hundreds of Tripadvisor members did not reflect the genuine experience we had by dining at Locavore. This kind of intro-paragraph will mostly precede a rather negative and contrary viewpoint but in this case I must say the evening we spend here was truly mesmerising. The amuse-bouches were drenched in local flavours even though some fitted on my fingernails. Imagine with that the 'Ashes' cocktail (you will indeed put a burning stick into the concoction, thus releasing a fair bit of ashes in your drink) and culinaire paradise in coming into wide view. The mains - we went for the 7 courses menu - were a mixed bag with caffeinated fish as a weird but surprisingly good part of it. Overall it is the combination of the nouvelle-cuisine presentation on the dishes combined with the exotic, original and authentic taste of local ingredients (chili pepper flowers, anyone?) that made this a very special evening for the both of us. Do try the Balinese coffee at the end. With a total bill of around 2.700.000, including two glasses of excellent Sangiovese, we probably spent more than half the average salary of the people working there, but as this works out at 160 Euro it was money more than well spend."Rachamankha: "Tranquility"
Thank you so much to Paul and his fabulous team for 5 wonderful days at the Rachamankha. Tranquil, serene, relaxing, and a great way to re-charge your life batteries ! Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt very at home. Quality F&B too at the restaurant. Trying to work out when I can get back there soon.Sukoon Houseboat: "Pure Bliss"
"The best way to recover from stressful trekking in Ladahk. SUKOON is pure understated luxury .From your beautifully appointed stateroom with dream beds to the attached bathroom with both full sized tub & separate rain shower every comfort is assured. The amazing food is individually prepared by a top class chef. All staff are helpful, attentive & polite. I fully recommend SUKOON Houseboat as standout accommodation which will be the highlight of your trip to Srinagar."The Samar: "Fabulous hotel"
Stayed here originally for 2 nights during our 3 month trip around SE Asia, as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday. Upon arrival, we were immediately upgraded for free, and shown to the most stunning villa ever! I had emailed the hotel with a few requests for my boyfriends birthday (cooking class in the morning, followed by massage and romantic dinner in the evening) and everything was put together perfectly for us. They effortlessly organised a tuk-tuk to and from town, as well as a day around the temples. The French owner was lovely to us, even extending our stay for an extra two nights for a bargain price as the hotel was quiet. The staff were attentive but not in an overbearing way. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in...felt like sleeping on a cloud! All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Samar to anyone staying in Siem Reap who are looking for a little luxury hotel! One small niggle- the cookery class could have been a bit more hands on, and it did seem to be expensive for what you got.Muang La Resort: "Fantastic!"
"We stayed a few days in this quiet, comfortable, very well located resort. The food is absolutely delicious and very well presented. The staff cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. The resort offers spa with massage, etc. very excellent. And having the hot springs nearby is a plus that I very much enjoyed. Mixing with the locals in this way is a wonderful way to have a taste of the local culture. The managers, two young but very welcoming and available. An experience not to be missed. Highly recommend, and would love to go back there and enjoy more of the surroundings, doing some of the activities that are available. Beautiful surroundings."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Very educational and interesting"
"Joined one of three conducted tours of the mansion available. The guide, Ben is simply the best I have ever come across. He speaks very well. Very informative and interesting background stories relating to the life of Cheong Fatt Tze and the life of others living in this mansion before it becomes what it is today. Worth every second of the two hours spent there. Could have been even better if more artifacts of the early days are on display. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"
