"We visited for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The diving was exceptional. My wife and I have about 80 dives from Fiji, Bali and the Caribbean, so we are experienced but not experts. The dive team was fantastic and the sites themselves were the best we have been to by far. All close by. The resort does much more than talk about ""eco"" . They are dedicated and it shows in almost all that goes on. Food was great, accommodations were comfortable and the staff is very helpful, I went and got a pot of coffee the first morning to bring back to our porch and the next day they brought it to us at 6:30 am. It is not a luxurious, stuffy, place but very comfortable and unique in the world. We had water cabin 5 and I think it would be my choice in the future because it is sheltered from the afternoon sun but my wife thought water cabin 8 would be preferable because it is a little more private ( it gets the sun in the afternoon though) We will go back sometime for sure."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "My place of rest."
I truly appreciate the quality service the and attention that the staff gave us. The location is always one of my personal favorites to spend time unwinding from the challenges of mega city life. The restaurant in a nice wooden house is located a bit outside of the center of Siem Reap. We got there by Tuk-tuk and chose 3 courses: Tuna tartar with mango, traditional fish Amok and fried bananas with mango and vanilla ice. I like the public areas in the hallway, it's comfortable to sit outside of the room and chat with friends. The hotel is rebuild on the base of an old Lanna manor, so some of the facilities (such as the number and position of sockets, or the small shower room) were not as modern as newly built hotels, but it was good enough. Located in a quiet alley, but just 2 min walk to reach the main street. (Be careful many taxi drivers may mistaken here with another Hotel Rachamanhka near by). Friendly staff. "My wife and I sent several wonderful days at Flower Island Resort. We made the special trip to see the Jewelmer Golden Pearl Farm on our second day. There we were shown how the oysters are propagated and grown. The crew there showed us the process of grafting oysters(where the bead is inserted in to the gonad) as while as the harvesting of the lustrous Golden Pearls. Our room was very comfortable traditional native hut with modern conveniences such as air conditioning and hot running water. We really enjoyed the wide variety of meals especially the pearl meat salad. There is a trail to a tower at the top of the island that gives you a 360 degree view. Surreal and beautiful place to stay, tucked away behind some unassuming gates this hidden gem of a boutique hotel lends a completely different perspective to Bangkok. Admittedly it is not for everyone, it is not large and corporate, there isn’t 24 hour room service etc. However, the staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms and grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent, its is somewhere I would like to return to again and again.Sea Dance Resort: "Chill out in the pool"
After sailing around Samui the whole week we need to chill-out at a special location. The Sea Dance Resort allow residents to use the pool during our stay. My wife enjoyed a deep thai massage and my son and me had a healthy lunch and some drinks at the pool bar. Great afternoon.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A visit to paradise"
"I had another destination in mind for my Easter holidays, but a friend told me I had to go to Nepal, and especially to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Great advice. The lodge is beautiful, in a magnificent location, and very comfortable. Every member of the staff was exceedingly attentive to me as well as to the other guests. Tiger Mountain was the perfect centerpiece of my first visit to Nepal. The staff was ready to make my visit as active as I wanted it to be, with many options for walking and hiking, sightseeing, or simply relaxing at the pool with one of the most fantastic views in the world. The meals were special events in themselves, with a choice of either western or Nepali cuisine. Yes, Tiger Mountain offers a glimpse of paradise. Our family stayed here for 2 nights and very enjoyed. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean with modern set up. Aircon and hot water is always available. Breakfast is buffet with many dishes from East to West.
