The Island Lodge: "Lovely lodge, beautiful grounds, easily accessible from Ho Chi Minh City"
The Island Lodge was perfect for our family holiday. The lodge has a great, handy location, we wanted a taste of the Mekong and did not have time to travel any further yet we felt tucked away in the greenery beside the river. It is a smaller boutique style family owned place with beautiful grounds, gardens and wonderfully friendly helpful staff. The food and the spa are very nice, we had a really enjoyable stay.LEOPARD SAFARIS - WILPATTU: "Highlight of our trip"
"We booked our safari with Noel's leopard safaris after reading the other reviews even though initially we thought it seemed expensive. The whole thing was brilliant, our camp host and safari guide Pila, is a walking encyclopedia and wildlife expert. He also has eyes like a hawk and an amazing ability to spot hidden wildlife. We arrived each morning as the park opened and though there were never many other jeeps he always lost them. Possibly beginners luck, we saw 2 leopards and a sloth bear on our first safari, along with a miriad of smaller mammals and gorgeous birds. Then on our last trip finally saw 2 elephants. This would have been enough but in addition the tents are comfortable and the food delicious. If you are not sure don't hesitate you won't regret it. "Pure peace and tranquility next the Saigon River, absolutely stunning place which exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful, colonial style rooms with stunning views, fabulous food all served with the Vietnamese hospitality. We felt wonderfully pampered and spoiled. We boarded the Bassac 2 at Cai Be and sailed overnight to the floating market in Can Tho. Before boarding the boat we were taken to a place that produced coconut candy along with other products and we also visited a traditional village en route. There were twenty guests on the boat who were good company. The food was very good and our cabin comfortable. The rooms, courtyards and pool area are absolutely fantastic. The hotel is very mordern and has a nice oriental atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly! It's a must, when you are in Chiang Mai!Locavore: "Still the best – even better than last time"
I tha been two years since my last visit - luckily the quality is even better now. The dishes are beautiful to look at, each has its distnict taste and the drink pairing is clever. Steady quality through the whole meal - 2 1/2 hours went by too soon.Dewakan: "Top of the World"

Well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our month in Asia. A wonderful little hideaway amidst the madness of Bangkok's 10 million noise-makers. We are glad that we picked this hotel for our first visit of Vietnam. A group of 10 love this hotel at the first sight we arrived. The team is so well trained and competent. Every hotel staff of frontdesk, restaurant, and also hotel manager are so helpful in arranging recommended restaurants, spa, shopping area, and transportation to make our first stay of Ho Chi Minh City wonderful! Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Each with unique design. The swimming pool open 24/7 and so we can have our mid-night gathering there! Breakfast menu is awesome. I wish I could have stayed longer - 4 Rivers is truly one of the most refreshing havens that I've had the fortune to stay at. We had an amazing time in the excursions, meeting communities who are clearly engaged and involved by 4Rivers in their business model. Enjoyed the firefly ride and mostly just staying here and being offline, enjoying every day just reading, swimming, and exchanging banter over good food.
