Misool Eco Resort: "FABULOUS"
I can't say enough about this place or the people that run it and work there. The waters are AMAZING for snorklers. Everything about this place was perfect! It was an experience of a life time. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!LEOPARD SAFARIS - WILPATTU: "Highlight of our trip"
"We booked our safari with Noel's leopard safaris after reading the other reviews even though initially we thought it seemed expensive. The whole thing was brilliant, our camp host and safari guide Pila, is a walking encyclopedia and wildlife expert. He also has eyes like a hawk and an amazing ability to spot hidden wildlife. We arrived each morning as the park opened and though there were never many other jeeps he always lost them. Possibly beginners luck, we saw 2 leopards and a sloth bear on our first safari, along with a miriad of smaller mammals and gorgeous birds. Then on our last trip finally saw 2 elephants. This would have been enough but in addition the tents are comfortable and the food delicious. If you are not sure don't hesitate you won't regret it. "Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Family friendly, excellent safari and food"
"We stayed in the camp for two nights with our five year old son. They entertained him and the staff was very child friendly. They were professional in showing us the best of the wildlife. The native food was delicious, eating outside under the stars was fantastic. They are a professional team in wildlife and we felt safe travelling with them. It was a excellent experience and we could highly recommend it as family adventure. Our son still talks about this experience. As we also stayed two nights in Wilpattu he has difficulties to decide if Yala or Wilpattu was the best but would love to go back to both. (So do we)"Les Maisons d’Itac: "little peaceful paradise found"
We really enjoyed the experience. Far enough from noisy Moalboal. We stayed in a private house which was huge! On the hill with our own swimming pool. The place is quite with a big garden around full of bougainvillaea and facing the sea. The Resort is very intimate with only 5 accommodations. It keep this place quiet and charming, perfect to relax, even with kids. The staff who without exception provided us with wonderful service. They are all welcoming, warm and helpful. We will definitely come back soon. Thanks again to Bryan the manager and Marivic the chef :)Manukan Island Resort: "Dive & Stay Package"
We stayed at this resort as part of our Scuba Diving + Stay package. We really love the island and also our Villa! Our villa is on the second floor with a nice beach view. Room is spacious with complete amenities. We don't mind the weak internet connection as we connected with nature more! We also love the local foods offered in their restaurants. As for their staff, they are accommodating and prompt on addressing our requests.Chakrabongse Villas: "Romantic getaway"
"Secluded behind a nondescript door lay the ancient palace grounds of Chakrabongse. Once you step inside you are out of the beaten tourist paths of the surrounding Grand Place and nearby temples. Each of the 6 unique ""rooms"" has its special features. Our Thai house overlooked the main courtyard leading to the river. A lot of space and a generous balcony added to the feeling of your own private residence. The meticulously trimmed gardens and the pool next to the river make this place an oasis. Restaurant facilities are limited though. You are served a set Thai dinner that is generous in portions but leaves no choices or alterations. The wine list is also limited but is designed to compliment the food. Last service is at 8pm. The staff (in our case singular) had troubles to keep up with service. I would recommend this place for a luxury weekend but there might be better food options outside."Satri House: "A Royal Stay"
"Everything about this place was enjoyable. The former royal residence was elegant, charming and personable. You feel like staying at someone's home or should I say palace. When you arrive its like entering into a different era. The decor, rooms and grounds are all beautiful. Lots of nooks to find and settle in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating - even helped us with learning a view Laotian phrases. Hang out at the poolside bar before heading out. Very impressed with the hotel restaurant. Great breakfast with fresh bread etc. With so many restaurant choices in LP, we actually chose to eat our last dinner at the hotel and its was best decision. There is also a very good place right across the side street called Manda de Laos - expensive for LP but very reasonable and good. The one thing that concerned us when we book was the distance to the main area in LP. In reality, being a little secluded was preferable as the hotel was quiet and tranquil. We typically walked into town which takes 5-7 minutes. And if you don't want to walk its quite easy to get a cheap tuk tuk or take one of the hotel's bikes. We considered 3 Nagas but we made right choice. For recommendations in LP, check out Naga Creations. Its owned by a french expat that creates local artisan jewelry. I normally don't shop on vacation but this was an exception. We look forward to returning. To Giovanni and his staff - Kop chai lai lai!"David’s Kitchen: "Unexpected fine dining in Chiang Mai"
We dined at DK at the recommendation of our Audley Travel agent. He called it, "the best restaurant in Thailand" and we couldn't agree more. Not only is the food plentiful and delicious with beautiful presentation, but the ambiance is elegant and the personalized attention - inclusive of 2 visits from David and his wife - surpasses expectations (even for fine dining). The menu is diverse, primarily french, and the selection of wine by the bottle or glass is extensive and pairs well with the menu options. We regularly dine out in Washington, DC and DK is on par with the finest restaurants in DC.Sanak Retreat Bali: "The Best place I have ever stayed and i travel a lot"
The setting, the ethos, the staff!!! Its dreamy and Its the real deal. A true eco luxury treat! The rooms are beautiful and in keeping with the land and nature. The food is exquisite. The views are stunning. I loved this place so much Ive been back twice and will return there whenever I am in Bali, its well worth the adventure up into the mountains for! I was made to feel like part of the community here and I am truly grateful to have felt this welcomed. Thank you all x x x see you again soon!Reverie Siam: "Like a dream"
Pai de bir gece kalacakken, cok begenip iki geceye kalmaya karar verdigimiz yer, otelin konumu ve dizayni harika. Iki gece villa da kaldik ve manzaraya bakmaya doyamadik. We just reserved one day for villa room but it was like a dream, and we stayed one night more. I strongly recommend here, hotel like a movie set.
