Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Very cool"

Review by: Edward K | Source: Trip Advisor
Great location, great service and a really nice, quaint hotel room. The people are very attentive, When we arrived they took plenty of time to be sure we were comfortable and settled. They set us up with a tour of the floating markets and the best cycle tour of the Mekong Delta area. The bike tour was one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip,

Manda De Laos: "Most treasured dinner in Luang Prabang"

Review by: Johan L | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a highlight of any visit to Luang Prabang! We had to cancel our Romantic Menu dinner reservation at the table in the middle of the UNESCO classified Lilly Pond due to unforeseen circumstances, but Manda de Laos was kind enough to move our reservation to the following night, albeit with losing our spot on the island. No problem! They seated us on the open terrace directly adjacent to the pond - an exquisite setting! While the Amuse Bouche was a nice touch, the hors d'oeuvre raised the experience even further: Laab Moo Ping (BBQ pork balls with lemongrass and coriander), Neam Jeun (crispy spring rolls), Ping Kai (BBQ chicken) and Koi Pa (fish salad). While it would have been more of a fine dining experience to received these appetizers individually, it was still delicious. The main course consisted of Or Lam (a Laotian chicken stew with the fascinating ingredient Sakhane, which when bitten into leaves a distinct tingling sensation on the tongue!), Mok Pa (deliciously aromatic fish steamed in banana leaves), Ping Sin (buffalo steak), Ping Dook Moo (spare ribs), Pak (stir-fried vegetables, delicious!) and Khao Khati (crunchy coconut rice). For desert, we had Choux Kuay (a banana cream pie), followed by a delicious coffee. We paired with the house Chardonnay and a Syrah. Manda de Laos also included two cocktails with the menu. It was a thoroughly spectacular evening!"

Yandabo Home: "Delightful stopover"

Review by: sujeanb | Source: Trip Advisor
After an exhausting (but fun!) day, beset by unforeseen delays, we arrived at this fabulous hotel. We were met the wonderful Burmese greeting and immediately felt relaxed and at home. Late as we were, the staff were happy to take us on a fascinating tour of the pottery village, before serving a fabulous dinner on the deck. I was sorry we had only planned one night on our way from Bagan to Mandalay. I could have luxuriated in the superb hospitality and perfectly appointed rooms for one more day.

The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "My best hotel – nice to come back"

Review by: sundari8 | Source: Trip Advisor
This was my second stay. The staff remembered me and welcomed me again. I felt like I come back to my home. Sophisticated interior, food, flowers, aroma, and especially friendly staff. Everything I love with this hotel was still there. I travel a lot in the world and this is my best hotel.

Tugu Lombok: "One of the best resorts I have stayed in"

Review by: Tom G | Source: Trip Advisor
"If there is nothing negative to say about a place it must have been a great stay. Absolutely everything was perfect! The way we were welcomed, the amazing room, the privacy, the open air bathroom, the postcard white sand beach, the fantastic staff, the good food, the organized waterfall tour, our private driver, the Spa treatment and all the other hotel facilities. Our room number was 107 and it was the first room next to the main swimming pool. Only a green lawn separates the beach from the back garden where we had our own private swimming pool. The room was so big it feels like staying in an old castle and had one of the biggest beds I have ever slept in. The 6m high ceiling, some great pieces of art, a sofa, a huge desk, a seating area and a majestic 3m high mirror where some other interior highlights. The bathroom is integrated in the garden where there was a big fishpond. Shower and bathtub our outside surrounded by nature. The Wi-Fi throughout the resort is surprisingly really good. Signal and speed were but fantastic and one of the best I have experienced in Indonesia. The hotel complex is huge and it is lovely to wander around. Everywhere you will find pieces of art and other things of interest. Every time you go around you will discover another lovely spot. There is another massive pool, unfortunately I only had time to take a look at it the morning we left. Seriously this is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in! The hotel organised a perfect private tour for us to the best waterfalls in Lombok. Our driver was lovely and let the us free in wherever we wanted to go. It was completely tailored to our wishes. We scheduled a massage at the resort, but because we loved the tour so much we were 3h late. That was no issue and as soon as we arrived the staff organized the massage for us. The spa treatment was absolutely lovely and definitely I would definitely recommend it. All perfectly planned! For sunset we walked around in low tide and search for tiny marine life. There is so much you can find in the 20cm deep water: nudiebranch, starfish, spanish dancer, crabs, little shrimps, etc. The staff brought us water shoes and helped us finding funny marine life. There is a raft out in the sea, it seems far, but is pretty close and snorkelling around is fun. The hotel also offers a canoe and a SUP board free of charge. Absolutely great experiences, thank you all! I wish I remembered the names of the staff to thank them personally. Our boat from Bali arrived at a pier only 9km from the resort and a normal meter taxi was only $2. The hotel did not have a complimentary pick up/drop off. For such a low-fare it would have been a nice service if this would be complimentary. Would have saved a lot of hassle. The only thing I can come up with is that the prices of food and beverages in the resort are somehow a bit outrageous compared to the standard prices in Indonesia, but luxury has its price so somehow it’s understandable. It seems that there is not much around the resort but I did not really do an effort finding something else as we were treated like royals by the fabulous staff."

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Holiday perfection"

Review by: Wendy E | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is our second time visiting here and better than ever. The staff and rooms are amazing. The food is the best I have ever tasted and I love Indian food the stability of the Hotel from the manager to the gardeners is wonderful and doesn't change. Anyone who needs to unwind this is the place to do it if you love the beach and the sea you have it in abundance. Room Tip: Pay a little extra and have a sea view room so tranquil"

Supanniga Eating Room: "Supanniga Evening Champagne Cruise"

Review by: Katri80 | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a chance to try out the new Supanniga sunset cruise with my sister and her fiancee who were visiting us. Compared to many of the other river cruises, the experience was much more intimate with a small boat that was not in the least crowded for the 1-hour sunset cruise on a Sunday. Very comfortable and nice scenery, and the glass of champagne offered was very good! The sunset cruise includes no food beyond a few nibbles (think peanuts and dried shrimp), but the service was great and the menu for the later dinner cruise looked very appetising as well. Recommended for a special event or a less touristy cruise option for visitors!

Satri House: "Such attention to detail"

Fabulous hotel, charming, immaculate throughout. Loved the landscaping, gardens, artwork and superbly comfortable bedrooms. Great base to explore one of SE Asia’s most delightful towns. The restaurant serves excellent food with friendly staff.

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Serene"

Review by: NY008 | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed for 3 nights and could not have enjoyed it more. Very authentic, traditional, historical, without being tacky or touristy, maintained and run to a T. Very central, yet, once you are on the premises, it feels like you are in a literati's cabin somewhere remote. Special thanks and credit to Sung Won Kim, who manages the place, for his professionalism, hospitality, and great recommendations on Seoul hikes. Would love to come back.
