Satri House: "Stunning"
What more can I say other than the Satri House other than it is a beautiful property located about 15 minutes walk from the main tourist strip in Luang Prabang, and fairly east to get to from the airport. Our room was simply stunning, and super modern looking and attractive woodwork, with a high ceiling, four poster super comfy bed, decent sized bathroom (with a large shower area) and amenities - the bed also had a mosquito net which was put down to protect you at night. In addition to that, the breakfast, which was complimentary, was absolutely outstanding and cooked to order and a delight. The staff also helped organise tours for us with private operators which were all excellent and reasonably priced, and were otherwise at hand to deal with any concerns. My only criticism (including of Laos generally) is that the WiFi did not work at all throughout my visit - its a huge problem in Laos generally, and Satri House should really look into what they can do here..Other than this slight technical issue, I cannot speak any more highly of Satri House, the staff or the experience..definitely one for the memories...Mathis Retreat: "Very relaxing stay – very good value for money"
"We stayed 4 nights in April with a 2 years old, it was our second stay and we enjoyed it again very much. Scenery and landscape of the hotel are just fantastic, the personalized service very enjoyable. Karine the Manager had great tour suggestions and recommended a very nice and competent guy. A special mention for the restaurant of the hotel (Terra cotta), where all the food there was very good every time (try the desserts!) and the service top level. Definitely a very good value for money. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Amata Lanna: "Just Perfect"
I cannot say enough about the property and the staff. It is incredibly beautiful and the team are BEYOND kind and accommodating. The hotel is small (14 rooms I believe) and has lovely teak wood accents - a great way to enjoy something off the beaten path. The true jewel of this hotel is the staff !!!Villa Song Saigon: "Luxury by the river"
This hotel oozes luxury at every pore, and they have thought of every detail. The room was magnificent with a comfortable bed, beautiful interior and lovely bath soaps. Service was fantastic - helpfully booking dinner for us on each night and arranging for taxis to take us there. The food was amazing - so much so that it was a struggle (that I lost on each occasion) not to overeat at breakfast. The spa and massage was luxurious, the pool looked beautiful, and the riverside setting is beautifully peaceful. In fact my only criticims is that in making the hotel so very comfortable it was difficult to drag ourselves to leave to explore Ho Chi Minh!Tugu Bali: "What a mind blowing entrance"
Pool, cocktails and beach...we were staying 5 mins away at a private villa so can't comment on the accomodation but what an awesome place for a day or evening time out...amazing!!! Their cocktails were insanely great, beautiful beach, 2 pools to choose from and very friendly fun staff on hand!!! Love this hotel space. We came back 2 days in a row, first during the day then the next evening for beach cocktails!! Both very different and awesome experiences!! Highly recommend!! We'll be back!!Sandat Glamping Tents: "The best accommodation I have ever experienced, bar none"
"Where to start? I was a bit uncertain about the 'glamping' concept. But upon arrival I was instantly won over. My fiance and I were blown away by the design, comfort, beauty and cleanliness of the 'tent' we stayed in (the word scarcely does it justice). We stayed in the 'Ylang-Ylang' suite. Our own plunge pool, isolated from the world and facing deep into the jungle was perfect for quick dips to cool down from sunbathing, reading and generally relaxing. The wonderful staff even added rose petals in the evening of our last night, which was very romantic and an incredible touch. The circular bed was supremely comfortable and a great size (surprisingly - I'm 6'3). Every detail of the room was beautiful and perfectly presented. The area is a short drive from Ubud. The free shuttle service into and out of Ubud worked seamlessly, and the drivers were very happy, friendly and great to talk to. The breakfast was amazing. There were hot savoury Indonesian options, freshly brewed Kopi Bali (Balinese coffee), fresh pastries and muffins, incredible spreads (like local mango honey and coffee honey), and more. Breakfast is available from 7.30 - 11.30 - which suited us perfectly for our lazy, relaxing stay. Other reviews have mentioned insects and wildlife, so I will add that we didn't have any issues whatsoever. You should of course apply sunscreen and bug spray liberally whenever you go outside in Bali, and then you'll be fine. Lastly the staff here were just incredible. From Buda, our shuttle driver, to Wayan the yoga instructor who gave us our own personal lesson in the most incredible setting amongst the rice fields, to the amazing receptionist who after we complimented her on her local jewellery offered for us to take it(!!), to Tengo, the lovely manager who drove us all the way to the airport on our last day when the resort was short-staffed due to a religious festival. Please extend our personal thanks to everyone! This review might sound over the top, but I really am wondering how I will find another resort, ever, that will match Sandat. We absolutely adored the comfort, ambiance and the incredibly friendly staff. We will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone."Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Best cruise!!"
Everything was perfect, the boat is really clean and spacious. Staff very polite and qualified Food was very good It is also wheelchair accesible The route is very nice( you get also sunset and night views)Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Paradise Found"
"Having spent two crazy weeks exploring Delhi, Varanasi, Agra etc. we flew down for a week in southern India to unwind. I had picked the Neeleshwar Hermitage from a photo of the swimming pool I had seen in The Trailfinders brochure, and it more than lived up to my expectations. The welcome was genuinely warm, and our cottage was just lovely. The discreet but friendly staff were always on hand for anything we needed. We arrived in the dark, and so waking up to the Arabian sea was a real treat. The beach went on for miles and was virtually deserted. The sea was warm and inviting, and the infinity pool was superb. Both restaurants were excellent, and breakfast beside the beach was fantastic. I had a wonderful treatment in the spa, and would recommend a visit. Following 3 nights at the resort we transferred for one night on the houseboat. What a wonderful, fabulous experience that I will always treasure. A perfect end to an amazing holiday. Room Tip: Some of the cottages face the sea, but we had a garden view and it was still lovely."Amata Lanna: "Few days in Chaing Mai"
Beautiful small hotel with friendly and helpful staff no restaurant but breakfast is provided and was nicely presented with an adequate choice of food ,Slightly out of town requiring a taxi ride home in the evening but there are restaurants nearby if requiredRice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Luxury Retreat For Nature Lovers Looking For A Break From City"
