Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Unbelievably restful hotel"
The hotel is a small oasis of tranquility, beautiful rooms, great service, lovely beach and really attentive staff. The place is quite small and for a couple of days only 3 of the cottages were inhabited but even when 15 people were staying it was still calm and uncrowded. The pool is relatively large and there are plenty of beds there and in the garden. There is also a tailor on site and he copied a linen dress and a pair of linen trousers in less than a day perfectlyVilla Mathis: "Truly Memorable!"
We stayed a total of 4 nights and proved to be the most romantic and relaxing getaway. The GM Chris and his staff was very warm and attentive to our every needs. We especially enjoyed our romantic dinner under the stars, complete with a Balinese massage and a flower bath. The resort is beautifully laid out and decorated, like a magical oasis. The location from Semanyak was perfect so that you could visit the bustling shopping area and restaurants in less than 30 minutes from the quiet surroundings of the resort. I would highly recommend Villa Mathis to any couple (and even families) for an ideal getaway to beautiful Bali.Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful Hotel"
"We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. Would love to go back "4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing ,seculded art of the world"
"Unique part of our holiday - the team service, smiles and activities are exceptional The glam-tents accomdation provide a location that is remote and provides eceptional insight into a ruggedly beautiful art of Cambodia. We highly recommend a minimum night stay to breath in and be art of this secial environment - Cambodia has so much more to offer in terms of natural beauty and environment luxury and Uniqueness than Angor Wat"David’s Kitchen: "Superb food with impeccable service"
"Superb food with impeccable service We just couldn’t stay away from this oasis of top drawer fine dining. The owner and host David Gordon was there to greet us and his other guests nothing is too much trouble and your every wish in designing your particular favourite dishes is followed to the letter. A culinary experience not to be missed."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "nice experience in the 1920s…."
"First time to stay in a hotel with 1920s' French style, the place is elegant and feel like home. So different from Bangkok , feel like a secret garden. Like the desk lamp design in room and wooden floor is nice.."Misool Eco Resort: "Active Family with 8 year old and 4 year old boys"
"We traveled all over Indonesia for 9 weeks, and we absolutely LOVED Misool. Here's the scoop: 1. Accommodations - There is nice variety of room types, and every room has a fantastic view. In my estimation the resort's website accurately portrays the cottages and villas. They are all tastefully appointed, very clean, and well maintained. Stunning views right over the ""house reef"" (a large beautiful reef right out in front of the resort that is teeming with wildlife - sharks, turtles, and a huge variety of sea life. We stayed in one of the largest villas - Villa Utara - HIGHLY recommend this unit if you're 4 or more people. All units have their own decks with direct access right into the lagoon and over the reef.(...) 4. Diving and Snorkeling - Let me first state that I have been diving in more places around the world, than anyone else I've ever met. That being said, Raja Ampat is the best diving I've ever done, seen, or heard of on the planet. Dense population of wildlife, massive variety... simply awesome. The snorkeling on the house reef is better than most of the diving that people would rave about elsewhere. 5. Children and Family - at age 8 and 4, our boys do not dive. However, they still had a blast. They learned to snorkel, we went paddle boarding, kayaking, playing on the beach, looking for coconut crabs at night (found many)... no shortage of ways to fill the day and have a great time. Look, if you've read this far, I'll tell you that I only have a few reviews on trip advisor. Like most people, I'm more inclined to whine if things don't go well than to report my good experiences (check my other two reviews that are one star). However, we loved this place so much that I feel compelled to urge you to go. "Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Beautiful old world feel"
What a serene and peaceful place just minutes away from town. Have a massage or eat lovely local food overlooking a lotus pond. Loved it and didn't want to leave. Staff were very attentive and friendly as well as helpful. Wish we had stayed longer.Hotel Tugu Bali: "Excellent property, very helpful staff"
"We stayed in a Rejang suite. The room was great, and the sunken bathtub + some candles made for nice, romantic evenings. The rest of the property was beautiful. The rooftop bar overlooking the ocean was a great place to wind down at the end of the day. The staff was awesome. They went above and beyond to make our vacation stress + hassle free."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Become one with the jungle"
"This was really good: you are picked up by a boat where the road crosses the river and then you get 30 minutes to slow-down and get into the rhythm of the jungle. Each room is a huge double tent on a floating dock, connected to each other via a walking bridge. The tents have a luxury interior: double bed, closets, TV set - although not working, but who cares? - a lot of fans (no airco) and a jungle-shower. But the most pleasant is the terrace from which you can jump in the water for a swim. Diner is at the riverside or in the tent-restaurant, with super quality food and drinks. Breakfast idem: super! From this place you must visit the waterfalls of Tatai where you can jump of a cliff, swim and get nice food, prepared by the guys on the boat, Room Tip: If you are looking for a place to get some rest, go here"
