Maison Polanka: "Great place!"

Review by: Lardoise29250 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Had a lovely time with my wife and 2 daughters, staff... food...room... everything was perfect to the end. Having a restaurant in France, I know all the trouble employees and managers are going thru to make everything perfect, and it was a success thanks to all of them. Keep the good work! And definitly see you next year! Best regards. QUÉGUINER Erwan."

Tugu Lombok: "A slice of tropical paradise"

Review by: CuriousCitizenYYZ | Source: Trip Advisor
"In a 3-week adventure around Bali and Lombok, the Tugu Lombok was our absolute favourite place that we stayed, hands down. The resort is stunning, the grounds are impeccable, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful. The beach is white sand and turquoise waters. Every meal we ate (in both restaurants) was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread is fantastic (with a particularly amazing fruit plate) and the assortment of snorkelling equipment, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards is a great way to pass afternoons on the water. Things are laid out so that you never feel crowded. But by far the best thing about Tugu Lombok is the staff. Everyone, from Sharon, the GM, and Henry, her right hand man, to the spectacular restaurant staff, spa team, housekeeping staff, and security, were the epitome of hospitality. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and polite, and everything they do is heartfelt and done with a smile. They anticipated our every need before we even expressed them and made us feel enormously welcome during our entire stay. We can't recommend this spot enough to anyone travelling to Lombok (and even if you're not, you might want to change your plans to include the Tugu). One small note on rooms - we had read through previous TripAdvisor reviews and decided to take the overwhelmingly consistent advice to splurge on a Bhagavat Gita suite and we were completely blown away by the beauty and design of these extraordinary villas. The Island Lodge: "Natural elegance."

Review by: John P | Source: tripadvisor.com
The Island Lodge is a luxury property in a natural location. The ambience is unique in the Mekong Delta. The pool, the food, the rooms, the staff, the welcome, the good-bye, the attention to detail in every regard are nothing short of spectacular. This is a 5-star resort in an otherwise humble Delta surrounding. Although the prices are considerably higher than the local competition, the value is definitely there. If you want to pamper yourself in every way, this is your destination in the Mekong Delta. Everything you need is available on the premises. We went on a boat trip to a floating market, and the Lodge provided us with one of their staff to act as our personal guide, without additional cost. Every detail is covered.

David’s Kitchen: "Incredible from beginning to end"

Review by: Karen H | Source: Trip Advisor
All of the superlatives for David's kitchen are well deserved-it is clear that all the people here care and pay attention. Yes David does make an effort to speak to all diners and even more impressive he actually remembers what was said. We received an email the next day detailing our conversation and giving the name of a restaurant in Singapore he had suggested we would love. The food is among the best we have had-Chinag Mai is indeed lucky to have such a high calibre restaurant. We had the seared Tuna(which was presented as beautifully as it tasted) and Foie gras. I had the surf and turf as it was my birthday celebration and my husband had the beef cheeks that were exceptional. The attention to all the details from reservation to greeting to seating and through the dinner, we felt cared for and appreciated. This truly is an exceptional team who deliver on the promise of a fine dining experience- and that it is- A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE.Well done!

The Cabochon Hotel: "Simply Amazing"

Review by: Saiklo | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed at this property for a vacation in Thailand on the reference of a local. It is tucked away off of a busy street and has the look and feel of a 1950s mansion. Such a cool property with amazing service and the feel of being at home. The rooftop pool was awesome and a treat to start each day. Would definitely stay here again!

David’s Kitchen: "One of the best meals I’ve had"

Review by: Meg W | Source: Trip Advisor
Incredible food, amazing service, and a nice but unpretentious atmosphere. David came by and had a conversation with each of the tables to make sure we were happy. I loved every minute of it, highly recommended.

Kinabalu Park: "good"

Review by: Kyung-seon K | Source: Trip Advisor
I'd like to think outside the hostel is very clean and convenient meals are good, but I see a moderate caustic ratio recommended

Glenburn Tea Estate: "An oasis in beautiful landscape"

Review by: AliG1963 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed 4 nights here and felt this was just about right. 2 nights is just not enough for the journey in and out which is yes long and yes bumpy.. but it is an adventure.. and to be honest after reading about the road I was slightly worried. In our opinion it is not as bad as its made out to be. If you want to get away from it all and off the beaten track you have to put in some effort. Will, Faye and the team were great with exceptional levels of service given at every moment. If you like the ski chalet concept you will love Glenburn. This is a ski chalet in the foothills of the Himalayas. There is a wide variety of activity and plenty of time just to relax if you want to. One tip take good walking shoes to really enjoy the treks available. Rooms are big, unique and lovely. You could put on pounds if you ate all the food. There was plenty of it and at all times of the day. Bed tea in the mornings was a real treat. WiFi was weak but leave it behind and put it away is our best advice. We did and were so refreshed by doing so. All in all a really lovely place to stay."

Reverie Siam: "Sophisticated and stunning without being pretentious"

Review by: Dana D | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved our stay at the Reverie Siam. We took advantage of their free shuttle into town for night life which was easy and convenient. We also rode bike and also rented motorbikes to get to out of town adventures. It was always so nice to return to the tasteful serenity of the property. The details are just wonderful. We also appreciated a well executed menu and wine selections. What a wonderful getaway.
