Villa Song Saigon: "Excellent"

Review by: Duckles | Source: tripadvisor.com
We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Staying at Villa Song Saigon is a treat. The tasteful food, the very friendly staff, the spacious and clean room, the relaxed atmosphere and the spa all helped to make our stay very pleasant.  A speedboat brings you to district 1, free of charge and tour operators will come pick you up with their boats in the morning so not to have you get stuck in traffic. It's a wonderful way of travelling, i must admit.

Rachamankha: "The definition of perfection"

Review by: Jonathan D | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel was a sight in itself. It was absolutely stunning, the service was fantastic, and the restaurant's food was some of the best that we had in all of Thailand. We would highly recommend this hotel, and pray to be able to return sometime in the near future.

Villa Song Saigon: "Top class"

Review by: AnneliJP | Source: Trip Advisor
"We recently stayed at the Villa Song for the first leg of our honeymoon in beautiful Vietnam. After a choice of two rooms, we opted for a suite with balcony overlooking the river at the front of the hotel - what a fab choice! The hotel oozes charm and elegance with stunning French colonial decor and a relaxing pool area away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Food and service is exceptional with a particular thanks to the front of house team and Freddie the restaurant manager who made us feel very welcome. This really is a gem of a hotel..we hope to return again one day."

4 rivers: "Tranquility Base"

Review by: BillPurvis | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I stayed with my wife and son for a couple of nights on one of the floating tents recently. Our hosts had arranged an extra bed for our son and a lovely bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday. The 4 Rivers team really enjoy making your stay as comfortable and unique as they can. Swimming in the river straight from your lodge makes you feel like you're in the middle of a jungle. Do get up early and listen to the dawn chorus. The trip to the fishing village and collecting clams in a mangrove swamp is great. There are bugs around at night but they are dealt with. The management did everything they could to make arrangements when our plans changed at short notice. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. "

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful place to stay"

Review by: cathydel | Source: Trip Advisor
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night holiday stay at the Blue Mansion. The place is just beautiful and steeped in history. Our 'Scholar' room was spacious and secluded although the food court noise from next door is very loud at night. Earplugs provided by the hotel fixed it to some extent, but book a room on the other side if wanting an early night! The mansion is ideally located close to food outlets, markets and it's walking distance to the Fort and other historic attractions. Pool area was small but ideal at the end of hot days. Indigo restaurant on site was a pure delight. Breakfast was interesting - try the duck and noodles for a treat! Room service drinks were reasonably priced and staff were very helpful and friendly. The biscuits and rice cake surprises in the room each day, with a hand-written greeting on a leaf, were an additional delightful touch. We loved our stay here. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"

Amata Lanna: "Diamond in Chiang Mai"

Muang La Resort: "well worth the long trip!"

Review by: Martin B | Source: tripadvisor.com
As you bump along a main road for hours to cover what looks like no distance at all on a map, you wonder what possessed anyone to build a resort out there in the sticks. And when you finally get there, have a welcome drink and a guided tour around the place, settled into your bungalow and are blissfully soaking in an outdoor hot tub fed from a natural spring, you realise that this resort is an extraordinary achievement of vision and hard work. It is managed and animated by two young men, who make it all look deceptively easy. Food is outstanding, imaginative and fresh; accommodation is large and comfortable, care is attentive and personal, nothing seems too much. We have only one regret: we should have stayed longer.

Manda De Laos: "Great food fabulous setting"

Review by: jeff_motueka | Source: Trip Advisor
The Manda de Laos is set among several lotus ponds. Our hotel had made a reservation for us and we had a table positioned to enjoy the sunset. That was our only disappointment of the night as the clouds rolled in at the wrong time. Everything else was perfect. My buffalo was tender as and my wife's duck fabulous. This is not a cheap eat but worth every cent.

Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Location"

Review by: Gordon25_11 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is on Lake Inle and the arrival by lake boat with the traditional leg rower is truly unforgettable. Our room was right on the lakeside with a verandah with easy chairs and loungers. The wildlife comes to you. The staff were brilliant, even managing breakfast at 5 in the morning on two occasions. Restaurant was spacious with very attentive staff. There was the option of eating outside on the verandah. Lanterns, torches and mosquito repellent were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

Chakrabongse Villas: "A palace"

Review by: Globetr0ttingG0urme | Source: Trip Advisor
It's not often you get to stay in a real palace. And the Traditional Thai teak sala hotel rooms on its palace grounds are unique and remarkable. Our room fronted the Chao Praya river, and candidly, our private lanai/patio was double the size of most hotel rooms these days. Not cheap, but an experience. And perfect for that very very special celebration Best of all, Tatien district, which is behind the royal palace and Wat Po, is experiencing a revival with new eateries, things to do and trendy hotels. We loved the Museum Siam directly across from Chakrabongse Villas, and the River Books bookstore o hotel premises. Don't miss nearby Err restaurant, traditional Thai from the folks that gave us bo.lan.
