Nimmu House: "a perfect stay"
"after six weeks in Ladakh: Nimmu house was the perfect place to start and to stay. Close to Leh but quiet and authentic. Beautyfull rooms in the house, preserving the style of this house. Excellent food. Most important: the staff is very friendly, helpfull and professional! A must to come back :) Andreas H. Basel, Switzerland"Tugu Malang: "Classic and Traditional"
"What should I say about my amazing stay in Hotel Tugu Malang? The room was excellent. They even provided us with FREE high tea between 4-6PM and they served very very good Indonesian traditional cakes and desserts. They also gave us 10 minutes complimentary shoulder massage. This hotel is like a monument. They gave us a free tour of the hotel and so we can see different rooms offered. Unfortunately, we stayed only for a night. Definitely recommend this hotel if you go to Malang!! This is the best place to stay."Arumdalu: "Incredible Private Resort on Beautiful Belitung Island!"
"My husband and I enjoyed five fantastic nights at Arumdalu Private Resort. We were actually the only guests at the time, so our visit was indeed private! William greeted us at the airport, and took excellent care of us at the resort. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Mr. Agus and Ms. Siannie, along with their son, Albert, and daughter, Caroline, and they were extremely kind and welcoming. Our chefs, Tonny and Anton, prepared delicious Indonesian dishes that were served by Dana, Angie, Cha Cha, and other wonderful staff at the beautiful Sahang Beachfront Cafe and Resto. A wonderful young man, Sue Wep, taught us how to make our own batiks, which was a new and enlightening experience. Our driver, Mr. Insani, was very competent. Lovely Meela, at reception, was very welcoming. We enjoyed a day trip with William and Mr. Insani around the island, enjoying excellent coffee, delicious lunch, and spectacular scenery. Upon leaving the resort, we were presented with a fabulous gift of a beautiful batik and a collection of post cards of the resort. It was an excellent vacation on a remote Indonesian island, accessible by a one-hour flight from Jakarta. "The Village House: "Garden of eden"
If you wanna enjoy the garden of eden in real life this is the place to visit. Excellent rooms, high quality interiour, excellent food presented to perfection. Nice pool surrended by a beatifull garden, and a lot of swings two make your stay perfect. It is hard to leave this hotel but if you go left you cross a rainforrest and end up at a deserted beach.Satri House: "Really lovely!"
I looked at many, many hotels online for Luang Prabang and could not have been happier with my choice. This property is absolutely lovely - a serene and tranquil escape after busy days of sightseeing! The staff could not have been more hospitable and accommodating, and the food was great! Stayed for a week utilizing all the various services - dining room for a variety of meals, pool, spa, bar, library - all terrific. Special kudos to the staff who were truly so nice!Flower Island: "Stunning, paradise, Robinson Crusoe Island"
"For us this place was perfect. Absolute heaven. Its secluded, quiet, relaxing etc what more can you want? The resort is sympathetic to the environment and the staff are unobtrusive and get on with their job. I say this because I think you need to be aware of these things before booking. Because this is remote I don't think you should expect; Ultra high speed wifi, staff attending to your every need waiting on you hand on foot, luxury Egyptian cotton, etc.. This isn't that kind of place. If you want that go and find a faceless, corporate resort. Instead, check in, turn off your phone, put your swimming trunks on and relax..... The staff were super friendly, and I loved their level of service, approachable, friendly, nice etc... Not uptight in any way. (...) I liked the food, always a good variety - 5-6 pots from which you could help yourself and always plenty of it. Really enjoyed the Pearl Farm, trip a wander around the island and Amber the dog rocks !!!! (and i don't like dogs!!)"The Village House: "Love The Village House!"
"We have been to the Village House a few times. We keep going back because it is the perfect place to take in the Sarawak vibe. Beautiful rooms, great food (must try the Taste of Borneo tasting menu), but most of all a great group of people that run the place. We always feel at home and amongst friends while we are there. They can help you plan a day trip or a major excursion up the river to a long house. All in all, The Village House is a 10 out of 10. "KHWAN BEACH RESORT: "Transit in Heaven"
"We spent only one night for transit in Khwan Beach, we selected the resort due its advert being first Gallery resort in Thailand, we were curious and we enjoyed over much that short stay next to beach with a manicured and excellent staff service , breakfast included was super great served in the villa, amazing privacy and yet a nice overview of the Ocean (and koh Phangan Island ) 50 meters away. Sure we will come back n stay longer... congratulation for the wholeover amazing decoration "Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Value for Money"
"One of the most important thing for us when traveling is to have a nice dinner that feature the local cuisine and fresh produce. This restaurant did just that. Local cuisine done right with modern techniques. I believe some reviewers gave a lower rating because they did not take the full 6-course menu, of which the missing course is one of the best. USD31 for 6-course degustation menu that is executed to perfection, is definitely value for money. Thumbs up and we will definitely come again. Remember to make reservation."Reverie Siam: "3rd visit"
We were at the Reverie Siam Resort in November 2014 for the first time, in May 2015 the second time, and now again in October 2015. It is difficult to compare the Reverie Siam Resort with any other of the many hotels in Pai, as this one is so special and different - and it's different to the very good side! The location is great, and so is the environment with a perfect garden and two pools. The real highlight, however, is the Silhouette Bar, it's staff and it's food, and not to forget the wine list which is the most extensive one I have ever seen in Thailand. Although it's only 100 km from our home in Sansai, you drive a felt number of 500 curves, but presently the road is reconstructed, thus in a few months driving there will also be convenient. We will certainly return, hopefully a few more times.....
