Tugu Lombok: "SIMPLY AMAZING!"

Review by: maree m | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hotel Tugu Lombok has to be seen to be believed! The grounds, buildings and rooms are delightful, as is the natural setting - everything seemed like an adventure with something new to discover at every turn. While the hotel is not new or slick it is authentic and conveys a sense of being in Indonesia perfectly (rather than just feeling you are staying in a generic international resort). But this hotel's merits are really in the care, attention and genuine sense of hospitality displayed by the amazing staff. Everyone knows your name and likes/dislikes on day one, are super friendly but also know how to be unobtrusive if you seek privacy. There are also lots of activities that can be arranged should you wish to explore the area but it is actually very hard to tear yourself away from your new perfect ""home"", not the mention the shock of going back into the real world when it is time to sadly leave! This is our 2nd stay at a Tugu hotel (Tugu Bali is equally gorgeous) and as each seemed to very much have their own character we are planning a Tugu tour of Indonesia in the future to experience the country's culture, art and cuisine in the best possible way! Room Tip: Apenam Bungalows are in a quiet area facing a lovely grassy lawn and close to a huge, very unique..."

Villa Mathis: "Fantastico"

Review by: Fabio F | Source: Trip Advisor
Davvero consigliata."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A treasure island on the lake"

Review by: Zinmalaung K | Source: Trip Advisor
"My aunt and I stayed there for one night. Our lovely room is clean, well-decorated and luxurious. The staffs, students from the vocational training center, are very friendly, helpful and they make sure that we are having the best stay. The bed is very comfortable. Lodging asides, breakfast was very delicious. Many thanks to our host Ko Min and staffs for the hospitality. I would definitely recommend it to others. Stayed March 2016"

The Apsara Rive Droite: "Start and end your day with a boat ride, what could be better"

Review by: PHWalker | Source: Trip advisor
Stayed here with friends for a business meeting and leisure trip last September. What a find! Perfectly located a short boat ride (1 minute) across the Nam Khan river from old town Luang Prabang with river views from the rooms, this is a really charming property offering all you need for a great Luang Prabang stay. By the way, it is owned by the owner of The Apsara (a hotel/restaurant) which is on the opposite side of the river and has just the best dining for authentic, and delicious Luang Prabang cuisine...not to be missed! I cannot fault my stay at the Apsara Rive Droite. The room was a highlight - big airy rooms tastefully and purposefully decorated (loved the coffee percolator with local fresh ground coffee), big balcony to sit and enjoy the peaceful river scene below, and super comfortable big bed (a lot of bigs there for a boutique hotel!...who says size isn't everything, you cannot beat a nice spacious room and bathroom). But the top highlight for me at Rive Droite was the staff, from the owner to the boatman (yes the Rive Droite boat is on call at all times and just part of the service for their guests) warm, friendly and always ready with a tip on how to get the best from your stay from recommending me a bicycle ride to sourcing some Luang Prabang sausage for me to take home, it really was like staying amongst friends. I have to say, there really cannot be a better way to start and end any day than a slow boat ride across a lazy river...

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Et si c’était le paradis"

Review by: Gilbert T | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

Rahai’i Pangun: "Great crew!"

Review by: christianheise87 | Source: Trip Advisor
"This was my first time traveling alone, and I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived for this portion. But I absolutely loved it. The crew was great, the guide Tri was fantastic, and the trip itself was so relaxing and interesting. We saw many orangutans in the forest (including a baby!), visited Dayak villages, and had delicious meals three times a day- and that's coming from someone who considers herself a picky eater. I absolutely recommend this tour group (and especially the boat and staff I had). I'd also suggest you go while you can- you could see gold prospecting in quite a few spots. In order for them to get at the gold, they need to burn the forest down. It also leaves large mounds of white sand along the river. It's very sad, but perhaps with an up-tick in tourism, there will be a greater push for putting a stop to this? I'd like to add while it was disturbing to see, it did not make the trip less enjoyable. Rather, it just makes me want to get more involved."

MesaStila: "Top notch"

Review by: Clay C | Source: tripadvisor.com
Beautiful resort with actual villas relocated from the region to this coffee plantation. Tons of antique furniture. Good food, extremely friendly staff. I would highly recommend if you're in the Semarang area, make the couple hour drive up for a weekend retreat. You won't regret it. Also, make time to do an hour tour of the coffee plantation. They do it around 10am, very interesting. Also you can ride horses to the neighboring villages, didn't have time to do it but would have loved it.

Rachamankha: "Real and Unique Lanna"

Review by: Naddhawath T | Source: Trip Advisor
"The hotel was very nice with the unique Lanna combining with Chinois design and decoration. The place is clean, serene and peaceful. Just like i was walking in another world and time paused. The staffs were so helpful and gave me very warm welcome. The hotel is located behind Phra Singh temple where is the heart of old city area in central Chiang Mai. It's very to promenade the cultural sight-seeing. Also it's very easy to go to Sunday weekend market for your intersting Thai and handcrafted arts snd souvenirs. If i have a chance, i surely go back to stay here."

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Well looked after"

Review by: helen c | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed in April. Our lodge was comfortable, food excellent and the staff and owner very friendly. We were well looked after. Highlights included the resident birdlife and the possibility of seeing the leopard who roams the area. Best of all, was the sunrise casting a pink glow over Fishtail mountain and the others in the Annapurna range. This only happened one of the mornings we were there, nevertheless it was awesome.

Tugu Bali: "Charming Hotel – really makes you want to stay in Bali"

Review by: Cindy T | Source: Trip Advisor
This boutique hotel is Bali at its finest- excellent service, gorgeous rooms, wonderful food, and traditional Balinese antiques incorporated flawlessly into the property. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Putu, who was more than attentive and helpful for the entire duration of our stay. He made sure everything was ready for us, including our drop-off to the airport, and even gave us a tour of the art around the properly. Our room was comfortable, spacious and charming, complementing the rest of the hotel with antique art pieces on display right in the room. Every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and accommodated every small request. Extra perks make this boutique hotel special- like the freedom to have breakfast wherever we wanted. We chose to have our breakfast in a cabana overlooking the beach and every detail was taken care of, plus the food was delicious! This hotel made our Bali experience thoroughly enjoyable and we would definitely visit again.
