SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Culinary delights. Visiting friends"

Review by: Colette S | Source: TRip Advisor
The restaurant SEEDS in Yangon is gorgeous not only from the location. The cuisine will win. Treat for the palate and for the eyes. The service is very friendly and competent. From the design of the house, the decoration up to the dishes nothing was left to chance. Lucia and Felix Episser create an atmosphere as if you were visiting friends. Can SEEDS recommend that it was too for a romantic evening, a family dinner or a business occasion, the SEEDS is all needs.

Hotel Tugu Bali: "A slice of Balinese paradise"

Review by: Ross C | Source: Trip Advisor
Bali is quickly being taken up by new large resorts and modern villas, they of course have their place and their charms. If however you are looking for a true slice of Balinese paradise look no further than Tugu in Canguu. An amazing stay in a truly beautiful hotel, authentic Balinese architecture, furniture, decorations and landscaping. Their breakfast menu was superb, we could not get through it all in the four days we were there. Their cocktail menu was fantastic and lounging by their pool was bliss. The location in the middle of up and coming Canguu area is excellent located for stopping off at some of the more quieter beaches and should you wish a more chilled beach club to have fun in, The Lawn is only a few minutes’ walk away. The staff, led by Ari and Jenny were some of the most genuine, friendly and attentive I have ever experienced. My family and I were so impressed. I couldn’t recommend this hotel any more - believe all the other five-star reviews before this one and trust the many others that will follow.

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Fabulous stay"

Review by: RJT91 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Although a little further away from Battambang (around 2km) than other hotels, the beautiful surroundings, well-appointed rooms and excellent food are well worth it. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We were there to celebrate a 60th birthday and they arranged dessert with candles and sang happy birthday! We had a great tour of all the sights around Battambang with Mr Dan the tuk tuk driver, arranged by the hotel. Also, we had a cookery class in the restaurant just for two of us which was a great experience. Thank you for a brilliant stay."

Sanak Retreat Bali: "Mountains and Rice Fields"

Review by: Simon M | Source: Trip Advisor
"Hotel 4 in stunning location 500 metres above sea level. I love it up here. Perhaps not really for beach lovers, but the infinity pool is fabulous with views across rice fields extending down the valley. Individual traditional wood cabin accommodation with huge and very comfortable bed. Spotless modern bathroom, wonderful private veranda with mountain views. Superb restaurant with elevated terrace and views serving Balinese cuisine with a french twist. My rare steak was to die for. Easy access to stunning trekking to waterfalls through beautiful jungle booked in advance or through the hotel. This is a proper flavour of the beautiful island of Bali. FANTASTIC! "

Rachamankha: "The best place to stay in Chiangmai"

Review by: Kevin_One_Man_Show | Source: tripadvisor.com
"This must be my 8 or 9th visit to rachamnkha. It is such a great place to stay. The manager, Paul, is without doubt one of the best hoteliers I have ever met. And the praise doesn't stop with him. The staff are 2nd to none. The rooms are excellent, and the garden setting that the hotel is situated in is an oasis in the city. The breakfast is the best I have ever encountered in many years of travelling, and the lunch and dinner do not disappoint. If you are staying in Chang Mai, stay here. If you are not staying in Chiang Mai , then change your plans and stay here. It's worth the trip. Without doubt, and pound for pound, is the best place you will ever stay in Thailand. "

Muang La Resort: "We Will Go Back"

Review by: Caroline D | Source: tripadvisor.com
Set by the river and surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is a lovely place to stop for a few days on a trip round Northern Laos. The resort is extremely well maintained and the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The rooms are stylish, well equipped and very clean. The bathrooms are excellent. We went on a couple of trips in the local area while we were there, and although the weather was very wet during our stay, our excellent guide made sure we got the best out of them, which wasn't difficult as the scenery in the area is stunning. As others have said, the food at the resort is very good and the staff, rightly, take a lot of pride in it. In spite of this, they were still very tolerant of of our fussy teenagers and were happy to adapt the five course evening meals to suit them. We organised our transport through the resort, from Luang Prabang and onwards to Luang Namtha. It wasn't cheap, but was well worth it as the road from Luang Prabang to Oudomxai is poor in parts and our driver was excellent. All in all, it's hard to fault this resort, in fact it's quite remarkable to find one of such quality in such an isolated area.

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Authentic Khmer dishes in wonderful setting"

Review by: Springhil | Source: Trip Advisor
Well reviewed by many travel writers, we chose this and booked months ago as it is very popular and the owners do close the restaurant for weeks at a time. Tasting menus A and B which you can try one of each as a couple - superb. We chose the fan cooled upper floor rather than the AC ground floor that catered more for those that wanted a modern restaurant. With the windows open even on a rainy evening, it was fresh and lush. Food was fabulous and really tested our understanding of Cambodian food. We were welcomed by Carole and her chef husband visited each table when he brought the fruit selection that ended each menu and you had the chance to talk to - a lovely personal touch.

Tugu Lombok: "Just perfect!"

Review by: sjb2225 | Source: Trip Advisor
I simply cannot fault this hotel. The room was enormous, the most comfortable bed ever, lovely bathroom. Food was faultless - breakfast healthy, any time, perfect; dinner delicious, lots of choice, great service. Great cocktails, wine, beer - anytime, anywhere. Beach - white sand, beautiful view, sun beds wherever you want, endless towels. Lovely swimming pools with soft warm water. Staff are amazing, friendly, full of good advice and nothing is too much trouble but no one is intrusive. This is the perfect, peaceful retreat when you need to de-stress, relax and recharge. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and were thoroughly spoilt. Would definitely recommend visiting Gili Meno for a day.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Cheong"

Review by: YogiSophie | Source: Trip Advisor
Boutique hotels are always on our route when exploring new territories, as they offer a unique experience of the local culture. CHEONG FATT TZE MANSION is no exception. Legendary in the annals of Penang Island, Malaysia, “La maison Bleue” (the blue mansion) stands graciously in the middle of the cultural center of UNESCO world heritage site of George Town for over 135 years. We recommend to anyone visiting this are to look no further and book a few night at CHEONG FATT TZE. You will be leaving with some enchanting stories of the past and delicious food in your bellies, while having experience the relaxing and elegance of this very beautiful hotel.

The Island Lodge: "Wonderful honeymoon stay at the Island Lodge"

Review by: Freda M | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed at the island lodge for one night to give us an opportunity to explore the Mekong delta. Our stay was very relaxing, the room was beautiful and very clean, the pool and sauna facilities were also pleasant and relaxing. We opted to go on a tour to the unicorn and Phoenix islands nearby in My Tho, guided by a member of the hotel staff. The tour was great for finding out more about the Mekong delta culture, and we bought some of the local coconut sweets and honey to take home too!
