Tugu Bali: "Old world charm with the location to match"

Review by: Danny F | Source: Trip Advisor
"We asked for a beach view and we definitely received one. Great view of the beach/sunset with the sound of the waves constantly crashing in. The room had so much old world charm about it that it really makes you wonder what has happened to the current state of hotels. The entrance hall was breathtaking with the high ceilings and the massive timber beams scattered throughout. Staff were second to none and all the Indonesian/Balinese inspired meals were also a highlight. We left as relaxed and refreshed as we ever have after a few weeks in Bali. We will be back in again in a few months."

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Lovely, homey, cozy escape."

Review by: GypsyQueen1923 | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a blissful, little get-away. The staff are sincerely helpful and very hospitable. I am always pleased when a resort is built around the nature which must have existed on the land before it came to be. Thus, it was lush and naturally becoming. The rooms are very comfortable, quaint with a surprisingly good attention on the little details. I highly recommend Maison Wat Kor.

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Champagne and snow"

Review by: Nathan M | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place is an absolute must. Chef Ton is a magician, he gave me 3 types of watermelon as an amuse bouche. I tasted sea bass with lime snow( Devine) There were oyster sabayons, pickled gourd, river prawns and everything was cooked with a light modern touch and confidence. The service was smooth, and slick.Every dish and wine was fully explained. The decor is minimal, the location is down a small alley next door to namsooth bottling plant. The booking was done via Mr Tao who squeezed us in. Many thanks to the entire team . I will return"

MesaStila: "A Mountainous Trip to Paradise"

Review by: Meg G | Source: tripadvisor.com
"MesaStila is a hidden gem, the grounds are incredible and exceeded all our exceptions, The staff were willing to help us at every turn. This is a must of those looking to get away from it all, explore the grounds, enjoy many activities available, relax by the pool. Hire a guide and head to a waterfall where you will walk thru villages and experience central java at its best. This property is a must - its perfect for stopping and remembering how calm life can be without the hassle and bustle. I urge everyone to go here. Just note if you are travelling in a large group as we were (8A 9C) pre order lunches and dinners as it can take a while to get your meal. "

Sea Dance Resort: "Great holidays!"

Review by: AP1030W | Source: Trip Advisor
We spent one week in August at Sea Dance Resort and enjoyed every minute of it. The whole resort is in excellent condition, which includes the rooms, the garden and the pool area. The team was very friendly, helpful and always available to answer questions and offer support. We would definitely choose Sea Dance again. Many thanks for a great time!

Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Rustic, Romantic, and Real"

Review by: raincitysunshine | Source: Trip Advisor
"Mrauk-U ended up being a highlight of our trip to Myanmar. Unapologetic for what it is, this is not a resort for the picky. It is rough around the edges, and it does seem priced beyond its means. And yet, in the end we were so happy we stayed here. If you are considering splurging on this little gem, then it helps to release any unrealistic expectations. The rooms are rustic, imperfect, sexy, and luxurious. Loved the spacious bathroom area with double vanity, separate tub and shower. Found the king bed to be super comfy and slept well. This is a great resort for couples. If you ask for a room with king bed, you will get flower petals strewn every evening. Being surrounded by lotus ponds in rustic charm make for a super romantic excursion. Feels like a retreat. No TVs on premises and poor WiFi. It helps to have a local SIM card for internet—indispensable for Google maps used for sightseeing. We rented the rickety hotel bicycles each day and loved it. Staff is fabulous, friendly, warm, and kind. The kitchen serves probably the best food you can eat in Mrauk U (other than in someone’s home). The prices are also surprisingly reasonable. Eat as much Rakhine food as you can while here and they can make you Rakhine noodle soup for breakfast if you order a day in advance. The setting is remarkable, away from the town and in its own village. It is great fun riding the resort’s rickety old bicycles through the village, into Mrauk U town, and around the ruins. We did this two days in a row and loved it. Recommend you start early as possible around dawn because it gets hot in the afternoon. Also recommend using GPS/Google Maps. You can make a large circuit of the ruins in one day but two is better. We stayed three nights and it was perfect. We did not do excursion to Chin villages. I have it on good word that the local owner of the resort gives back to the community, if that helps encourage you to stay. You can get here by car or boat from Sittwe. We picked this resort to avoid having to deal with the government boat schedule and having to spend the night in Sittwe. As of writing this, the resort does not list the prices for its airport transfer (boat from Sittwe) on their website. The price for two people is over $500 r/t. This was shocking to me at first because you can take local transport for a fraction of the cost ($40 per person-ish r/t on the govt boat). However, you would have to stay overnight in Sittwe and it would be a hassle. It seems silly saying this, but if you can afford to stay here at all, it is worth paying for their transfer service. The price stings a little but it is so worth it. The resort has its own boat jetty, and your transport to/from Sittwe is as easy as can be. It’s a really fab ride and infinitely more comfortable than any other way of getting here. They actually cook for you on board (great food). Plus you can arrange to come out here without having to overnight in Sittwe in either direction. That means liberating time to do other stuff in Myanmar and enjoying a silky smooth journey to remote Mrauk U. Overall I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else in town and strongly recommend staying here if you have an inner princess to please. When you come with an open mind and heart, your perspective can be transformed and you may come to enjoy it as much as we did."

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "I am here as I write this"

Review by: Roger Y | Source: Trip Advisor
I’ll keep it short and sweet. Just come here and don’t think twice. You will fall in love with this place. Wonderful ambience and superb food. The owner said they’ve been open only for 10 months. There is no surprise why they’re number 1 in Yangon in such a short period of time. It’s wonderful.

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magical"

Review by: emmacave | Source: Trip Avisor
"We lived in Nepal for many years and now visit quite regularly. This has and will always been one of our most favourite spots thanks to Marcus and his team as well as it's most lovely location above Pokhara, in the hills with fabulous mountain views and walks. The local staff are a delight and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is informal and comfortable. The rooms(with attached bathrooms) are tastefully but simply/appropriately decorated and with very comfortable beds. The food is now exceptionally good and there is a choice of meals, which are either enjoyed alone or with other guests and friends. Computers and phones are discouraged in the main reception/dining/living areas which is a breath of fresh air! We spent five nights there on this visit(post high altitude trek) and walked every morning with one of the lodge naturalists, whose knowledge , particularly of the birds, butterflies and trees is exceptional. The local villagers are very welcoming. Thank you all! We will be back!"

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Amazing scenery and gorgeous dinner"

Tugu Lombok: "SPECTACULAR!"

Review by: JSLB3 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Upon arrival at Hotel Tugu even though we had never stayed there or met we were treated like old special friends. From that moment on the customer service just kept getting better. We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 & 8 in an 2 room villa with 2 amazing outdoor bathrooms. Hotel staff arranged 3 separate tours - 1 to the Islands snorkelling and exploring, one horse drawn cart through the local streets and also a visit to local schools to experince some Lombok culture. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite only having 1 main restaurant, they offer an exceptional menu that offers different specials every evening. Also with an option to eat anywhere on the resort at anytime - beach, room, roof top, garden setting etc. The photo's do not do the hotel justice - the experience of being immersed in the local artwork, manicured gardens and pristine beach was phenomenal . Offering everything from paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, beach table tennis and swings were all inclusive. The 2 pools were a perfect for swimming all day! It was quiet and allowed us the time to chill and unwind. The staff worked like a real team - knowing everything about us and being there when we needed without feeling like they were on top of you. Having a large selection of board games kept us all entertined and occupied when we were not participating in the many activities mentioned above. This was truly an amazing experience."
