SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Amazing food"
Have been here twice - once for lunch and once for a special dinner. Both times were amazing - the setting is beautiful, service amazing and the food (the real treasure of the place). High quality and tasty - food that I could get in Europe (which is hard to find in Myanmar). The set menu was pricey but worth it - truffle ravioli and lamb come highly recommended. The chocolate fondant is amazing too!
This place is just incredible, after years of searching in Thailand, this is the hidden gem, paradise that I have been looking for. The island is incredible. The hotel is so well run, clean, amazing food and a fantastic yoga teacher. We just had the best time.Sukoon Houseboat: "Watch the world float by"
We stayed at Sukoon for one night based on the recommendation of our host at the Cottage, Nigeen and can't thank him enough for making the arrangement for our stay at Sukoon. The hospitality is great, right from the time they pick you from the shore of Dal lake in their own boat. The houseboat is fabulous with great wooden furniture along with all modern comforts.the staff was very helpful and courteous The food was delicious , especially the Tea (kahwa) and coconut dessert with chocolate sauce . The upper deck was the perfect place to spend our mornings and evenings and the lower decks was the best place sit and shop and also eat the pakodas and tea from the nearby floating shop. The rooms were comfortable and finely built and well maintained.Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. While leaving white threads were tied to our wrists for our safe journey. We were really touched by this gesture. We will defiantly come back and stay for a longer time.Mie Cafe: "Wonderful experience!"
"A dinner in this restaurant was amazing! The food is interesting, very well presented, and creative! Clear that the chef knows what he is doing! It was a pleasure meeting him and have a little chat. Even the rain didn't ruin the experience, and may be made it even more special. Extremely recommended!"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Unique and goegeous, but the best part is the staff"
" really can't say enough about how much I loved my stay at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. It is a gorgeous place, relaxing and natural making for the perfect getaway. The tents are lovely and come with all the amenities you could want -- your own deck, a t.v., a cute wooden bathtub, lush robes and eco-friendly soaps. The setting is second to none, located on the Tatai river which blends jungle and palm trees seamlessly. The excursions they provide include firefly watching, a trip to the local waterfall, jungle treks (weather permitting) and kayaking in the mangroves. I made some great memories... The staff round out this great experience -- the excursion teams are great, the general manager is kind and attentive and the restaurant staff are warm and eager to please. Living in Cambodia, I know how difficult it can be staff urban hotels, let alone a property as isolated as 4 Rivers, so kudos to them. Note: Located on the river, you will encounter bugs (including gorgeous butterflies) so be prepared -- that said, I left without a single mosquito bite. This is also a relatively remote location which means the food choices (which are plentiful enough and delicious) won't be the same as in more populated areas. If you can't live without your phone/computer this place isn't for you since there is no wifi. "Sukoon Houseboat: "A special and memorable experience"
"Even before we stepped aboard people we met were in awe of Sukoon. It is held in such high regard. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to please and cater for your every need. We relaxed upstairs on the roof where tea and delicious homemade biscuits were served. Once you have pre-ordered the choice for dinner, it is bought locally and cooked to order in the evening. Delicious. The rooms were extraordinary with their rich wood carving and offered every modern convenience. A most memorable and special experience."Tugu Lombok: "Stunning hotel/resort a must visit"
"My wife and I had stayed in the Ampenan suite that was very comfortable, especially the extra large king bed, the size of the room and quality bed linen. The individual soft furnishings and artworks made it feel very special and homely. We were also given a tour of some of the other types of villa's on offer that were all beautiful in their own individual way. The entire experience at this hotel, even though it was a short stay was very memorable from beginning to end, and everything in between. The beautiful collection of artefacts and antiques throughout the property make it a very unique resort that is also very well maintained. The service and friendliness of the entire team was outstanding. Daisy, Henry and Elly went beyond the call of duty to welcome us and to also make us feel very special. (Thank you) Only 1 of 2 restaurants were in operation due to it being low season. The food was generally of a high standard with a decent verity of local and western food. We would highly recommend Tugu Lombok to anyone who wishes for a first class experience. Thanks again to you all, Matt & Cherry. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"The Cabochon Hotel: "To date, my favourite hotel in the world"
"Simply put, you won't want to leave. Cabochon feels every inch a five star boutique hotel - the staff know your name, the barmen know your orders and the exquisite rooftop pool calls daily. Well situated close to transport and nightlife, but situated back away from the madness - this really is the best way to experience the city."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion Logo Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "STUNNING …."
Gorgeous hotel giving a truly boutique experience. The rooms are very inidvidual and huge. Likewise the beds - huge with classy bedlinen. Rooms cleaned to high standard daily. Included breakfast had plenty of interesting options. All the staff are obliging, friendly, and unobtrusive. No lack of efficiency or attention to detail in any sector. We savoured every day of our stay here. With 20 years experience in 5 star hotel industry, have to say this hotel ticks every box with flying colours.
