Satri House: "Great secluded property"

A wonderful relaxing spot in a beautiful lazy town. Great for an escape from the world especially for a long holiday weekend or even longer if you really plan to explore the region. The staff is amazingly attentive without being pushy.

tugu lombok: "Wonderful stay at Lombok"

Review by: Marilyn S | Source: tripadvison.com
"Amazing hotel... Quiet, marvelous decor, beach access, good selection of food & amazing staff - all very attentive to your needs. We had a very particular bathroom but all so nice. One memorable stay at Hotel Tugu! And very happy we included it with our Bali trip. "

MesaStila: "Nostalgic"

Review by: AvantiSukma | Source: Trip Advisor
"My family came across this wonderful ""pit stop"" many years ago during our land trip from Yogyakarta to Semarang. Back then it was still called Losari Coffee Plantation. And as a city kid, I was entranced by the natural environment and rustic Javanese environment/architecture of the resort. My family have not had the pleasantry to stay in the Villa's as both my grandparents lived in between (us passing by happened during Indonesian national holidays) yet, but we always made sure to have a lunch break on their Restaurant when possible. The scenery from the restaurant (and swimming pool) itself is a treasure not to be forgotten. The same goes for the food and service. Never in my many experience coming here had I ever had a sullen or non friendly staff aiding my short stay. Never had the food ever disappointed me either. I'm no coffee expert, but even as a child I had loved their roasted coffee beans + palm sugar condiments, it is to die for! (Available from August - Sept according to the nice lady by the Gallery). As for my latest visit, I had the pleasure to devour their absolutely delicious ""Starfruit Salad"", perfect for the summer! And lets not forget their ""Udang Bakar Madu"", that one menu I still remember from my earliest visit. Perhaps my next visit can be the spa / the villa :)"

Maduzi Hotel: "Wow wow wow"

This is my 1st reaction after entered their deluxe room. The room is very big with extremely huge bed (240cm) length, walk in wardrobe, Jacuzzi that can fit in 3 ppl (my 4 yo kid, wife and me). Conveniently located. Breakfast is unique. Must stay!

The Cabochon Hotel: "A Special Spot in Bangkok"

Review by: Asia_Flyer | Source: Trip Advisor
"I hope as my first post that a rather gushing review does not come off as unauthentic. I'd be happy for anyone to message me with questions as I really do think the Cabochon is a special place with kind and attentive staff. My wife and I arranged a 50th birthday weekend for a friend and chose the Cabochon as both our hotel and the restaurant for the birthday dinner. We had 9 rooms at the hotel, with 18 adults and 4 children joining. We first discovered the hotel a few years back when some friends living close by in Bangkok took us to dinner at the hotel restaurant, Thai Lao Yeh. Late last year (2015) we went back for dinner on our own and were so impressed we asked to tour some rooms with the intention of possibly selecting this as the venue for the 50th birthday weekend trip. Once the staff showed us a selection of rooms we were hooked. In hindsight I made many mistakes in coordinating such a large group. Rin, who had coincidentally been our waiter on our second Thai Lao Yeh dinner, wound up being our primary contact. Honestly I did not make it easy for Rin, yet he was able to handle request after request and never once let us down. In the end the weekend went perfectly, and everyone in our party commented how much they loved the hotel and restaurant. Let me give some targeted commentary that I hope others will find useful. Restaurant - See my (future) Thai Lao Yeh review. Atmosphere - Historic luxury, so you would think... You absolutely won't believe the hotel was relatively recently built from the ground up. The owner, architect, and builders have done an amazing job not only decorating the entire hotel with vintage pieces, but the actual structure itself (walls, door frames, etc) has been made to look aged. Multiple people in our party commented on this. It has to be seen to be believed. Staff - I have stayed at multiple top tier properties in Sukhumvit and wider Bangkok. The service was 5 star quality, with boutique friendliness. Rin was really a standout for us, but all staff were great. Rooms - The vintage look and feel does not result in any compromises on practicality. The bed was comfortable, as was the lounge furniture in our large balcony suite. The bathroom was spacious, well equipped, and worked as expected. Ground Floor Lounges - Do yourself a favor and have a drink in the lounge. Calling it a ""lounge"" may give the wrong impression. There are actually multiple sitting rooms. Choose your spot, sit back, relax, and soak in the vibe. Breakfast - If you're used to a large hotel's buffet your first impression might be negative, but the selection of fruits, breads, and a main never became boring over the 4 meals we enjoyed on this visit. Pool - It does not compare to the resort luxury of the SGS, but let's be honest the Cabochon just doesn't have the space or army of staff to compete in this area. The pool was practical, well maintained, and proved to be a nice place to hang out with friends and cool down. I can imagine during the hotter summer months it could be a bit too hot to spend extended hours poolside, so if this is your thing then look for another hotel. Location - This is the only area I have not given them 5 points. They are a little further away from both shopping and transportation than some of the hotels centered around Asok or Nana on the Sky Train. You will need to walk 7 minutes to get to Phrom Phong for the closest mall and concentration of shops and restaurants. That said, the peace and quiet of being setback about 200 meters from the street noise of Sukhumvit should be appealing to some. Without a doubt the Cabochon is now my go to Bangkok hotel. The cost performance is top class, the hotel restaurant is honestly one of the best restaurants (if not the best) in all of Bangkok, and the staff are extremely helpful. You can't go wrong if all of my commentary above resonates with you -- really. "

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "There is more to see than leopards"

Review by: LuckboyHertfordshire | Source: Trip Advisor
"An efficient and comfortable campsite in Yala Park. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the food prepared is varied and in great quantity at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location of the meal moves around the camp, so there is always a new view. There seems to be almost as much wildlife in and around the camp as there is in the park, with water monitors below the walkways, all kinds of birdlife in the bushes and trees and elephants visiting to the edge of the camp. We visited blocks 1 and 5 and yes, we did see a couple of leopards in block 5, but for me the glory was the stunning birdlife and incredible scenery of block 1. An excellent 2-3 night break. Room Tip: Go for the luxury tent (tusker) if you can."

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Excellent way to experience the wildlife of Sri Lanka"

Review by: Junkerfamily | Source: Trip Advisor
The luxury tent was more than could be expected. Dhanu the guide was fantastic taking a lot of time to explain all the wildlife and finding us a leopard up close to photograph. He also spent time showing our daughter how to use her camera and while in camp to show us how to eat Sri Lankan style (with your fingers) and explain a few things about Sri Lanka. The food was out of this world and they did not hesitate to cater to my wife and daughters desire to not have spicy while at the same time experiencing Sri Lankan curries and other dishes. The rest of the staff helped to make our stay the best ever. Got to see a leopard and a couple of herds of elephants along with numerous other animals and birds. Definitely worth the experience!!!!!!

Rachamankha: "Better than expected"

Review by: Anita T | Source: Trip Advisor
"Enchanting, exquisite , excellent, charming, amazing ..... What more can I say? My husband and I stayed at this very beautiful rare gem of a boutique hotel last week and everything couldn't be more perfect, Special thanks and much appreciation to service staff during breakfast and front desk they were all super professional including the security guard who had a torch light ready when he saw me ""digging"" into my handbag in the dark to pay the tuk tuk driver. Will definitely be planning another trip there!"

Cuca: "Wonderful experience"

Review by: Rychki | Source: Trip Advisor
"I was in Jimbaran for a wedding so googled best place to eat - Cuca popped up! The reviews were not wrong. I had the degustation like recommended, this consisted of baked scallop, cuban corn, roasted pork buns, mushroom fritters, smoked butterfish, bbq octopus, crispy fried chicken and bali breakfast for dessert. The portions were perfect, I wasn't starving when I got there but I left content, not stuffed. My fave dishes were the scallop, pork bun, butterfish and the dessert which is surprising as I'm not usually one for fruit based desserts. The presentation was beautiful, the setting was amazing (three choices - out in the garden with the coconut trees, in the private dining area or in front of the chefs). My waitress was very knowledgable and very attentive. The dishes came out in perfect timing, not letting me sit there for ages but also gave me decent room in-between courses. It's pricy for Bali but what you get - you'd be paying double or going towards triple that in Australia. The degustation also included and alcoholic digestive drink aswell. Was a very special experience and one of my best dinners in Bali over 4 trips to the island to date."
