Rachamankha: "A wonderful hotel to experience"

Review by: John G | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Chaing Mai in early November, 2017. Travelling were my wife and I, plus our son and his wife. We booked a two-room suite for 4 nights at Rachamankha and were absolutely delighted with everything about this wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean and modern. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and the pool and public spaces are very inviting and provide a relaxing retreat after a busy day of visiting temples, markets, and the many other sites in and around Chaing Mai. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous and we were warmly greeted each morning by Ahwu who, along with the rest of the staff, provided excellent service. The location in a relatively quite corner of the old city couldn't be more convenient for walking or riding. As a bonus, it's just around the corner from SP Chicken which serves the most delicious (and inexpensive) grilled chicken ever! I would most certainly stay at Rachamankha again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chaing Mai.

Rakkojae Seoul: "Hanok Stay with modern conveniences"

Review by: Peter78787878 | Source: Trip Advisor
We visited Seoul as a family reunion. Rakkojae was within walking distance to The Blue House, the Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Buckchon Village, Jogyesa Temple, Insadong, and lots of Michelin rated restaurants. The staff and Mr. Kim, our host/concierge was very helpful with recommendations of what to do, where to eat, arrange taxi rides, etc. He even was kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage before and after our stay to allow us a little more time in Seoul. Rakkojae Seoul is located in a very quiet, off-the-beaten-track neighborhood that make us feel like we are back in the Joseon Dynasty. Oh, and the staff provided us with a delicious traditional Korean breakfast, and Continental Breakfast. If you want a Hanok experience with modern conveniences, we highly recommend Rakkojae Seoul.

Muang La Lodge: "coup de coeur"

Review by: solange s | Source: Trip Advisor
"Muang The Lodge was our favorite heart during our trip to Laos in February 2017. Wonderful scenery, spacious bedroom and bathroom, excellent meals and presented with taste and full of small, delicate and touching attentions; original hot baths and very nice .... in short, no complaints. The cost is equal to the benefits offered. "

Satri House: "Most Lovely Stay"

Review by: Michael F | Source: Trip Advisor
"Go to Luang Prabang, a World Heritage City, and stay at this lovely, restored French colonial hotel. Every detail is carefully addressed, and the rooms are really charming. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good, and bikes are provided to ride into town. It is a relaxing oasis in a beautiful town. Stayed July 2016, traveled solo"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Fantastic experience would highly recommend"

Review by: Cantium | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have just stayed for 2 nights at Tiger Mountain and we wished we had stayed longer. Our stay was so welcoming and attentive a truly wonderful experience. We enjoyed great food and attentive and faultless staff who really looked after us. Our accommodation provided everything we needed and we like its eco friendliness, the hot water bottles in bed at night were a lovely touch. Pre dinner drinks in front of a roaring log fire with fellow guests was enjoyable. We particularly loved our helicopter trip to Annapurna Base Camp - what an experience (very reasonably priced if you can share the experience with fellow guests like we did) and our birding and village walk was enjoyable and informative. Tiger Mountain has wonderful staff, and great guides. We would highly recommend the experience and let the hotel organise all your activities as they know what they are doing! Outstanding views and a morning wake up call with tea and homemade biscuits to watch the sunrise over the mountains was perfect. D Don’t hesitate just book it! Thank you Marcus and all the team."

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "A delicious way to ring in a new year!"

Review by: FYI-921 | Source: Trip Advisor
The late night champagne cruise to welcome 2018 was great. The "tapas"-like menu was delicious and creative and the champagne, cocktails and service were great, too! My only wish is that there had been some 'kanom' (sweets) at the end.

Mekong Villas: "Lazing by the Mekong"

Review by: Soph1605 | Source: Trip Advisor
I only stayed 1 night this time around but I really wanted to go back as I was in the area again. Once you enter the gate, you are in a secluded area, although the main road is just behind. The peacefulness that emanates from the grounds forces you to switch off. Not much to do at the property but that's the whole point: listen to nature around you, watch the life on the Mekong and just relax!!

Kinabalu Park: "Best place to stay when visiting Kinabalu"

Review by: Alison V | Source: Trip Advisor
Yes, Sutera is expensive--but in this case, it's worth it. It is by far the nicest accommodation close to the park, and so convenient being inside the park. The rooms are beautiful, with nice views and ample amenities. Breakfast is included, you only have to pay park entry for your first day at the park if you're staying overnight, and wifi is available for in-house guests at Liwagu Restaurant.

MesaStila: "Tranquility"

Review by: edandrita | Source: Trip Advisor
"Tranquil and relaxing this retreat has everything you need for a break from the ordinary. My husband and I just returned from a four fabulous nights at MesaStila, its low season so not very many other guests but all the facilities were available and we were kindly upgraded to an Arum Villa. A large breakfast each morning filled us till tea time, both of which are included in the room price. Dinners were a very good selection of both asian and western foods but i'd highly recommend sticking with the Javanese dishes that the chef, Arya Kusumaatmaja, prepares so excellently. each day has an assortment of activities that are included such as , yoga, coffee plantation tour, martial arts, etc. and there are many optional tours you can book. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the village tour we took with one of the staff( I'm sorry I don't have his name to hand) was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and brought us to several small cottage industries that are well 'off the beaten track'. I've already recommended this place to my expat friends who travel extensively throughout asia and I look forward to going back again someday "

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Amazing food, peerless produce, great service"

Review by: cherijustyne | Source: Trip Advisor
"The food was amazing - I work in a Michelin star kitchen and it baffles me how CWD has yet to get at least one Michelin star. We chose Tasting Menu 2: Amuse Bouche Duck Confit with Crispy Rice Steamed Mekong Langoustine Tonle Sap Croaker Fish Angkor Stout Pulled Pork Green & Ripe Mango Tart Fresh Seasonal Fruit Platter We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the eating the last bites of the each dish made me so sad, knowing that the experience would soon be over. For 31usd per pax, excluding drinks - I thought we got more than a fair deal for the amount and the quality of the food. Chef Joannès Rivière was also kind enough to oblige us when we requested to take a photo with him at the end of the meal, which truly was the cherry on the cake. Merci Chef! & thank you Carole, for helping out with the birthday surprise! If we ever make the visit to Siem Reap again, it'd definitely be just for Cuisine Wat Damnak. "
