"I loved Satri House - the rooms and public areas are stunning. I loved the antiques and art work and the gardens. It felt like an exquisitely restored home rather than a hotel. The rooms are dark, and the floors do creak (upstairs), but this is because the hotel is in an old house. I wanted to move in. I also thought the staff were lovely and I liked the location. Went for a casual dinner with my family and was so bowled over with the authentic and delicious food! The dishes were also very well priced and don't forget to order the Hor Mok and the very talll lime juice which was most refreshing!!The Island Lodge: "Top place"
We stayed in a garden room. These are top class. breakfast selection was ok. And we had a top class dinner in the restaurant which offered a French selection of meals along with Asian. "This hidden treasure is amazing. The view was spectacular. I got to experience the life in the nature. The room is very beautiful. The staff and foods are on point. They are very environmental friendly. To save the environment is always their priority. The kayak, the pickup boat the view of the place made me never wanted to leave this wonderful place ever. A great hideaway just off Sukhumvit with a beautifully curated experience full of curiosities, each room filled for a quiet browse. The things you discover. A step back into a indochin residence, sit back, with a cocktail or two, turn off the phone and relax before you venture out. Great warm and welcoming service, thank you. "If you are looking for authentic beauty and an experience of typical country style village life, Yandabo Home is the place to be. Beautiful brand new lodges , with well trained people, especially the 2 lovely ladies from guest relations, who joined us during the visit of the pottery village next door and to Pan Nyo village across the river for a look around this village famous for its buffaloes. This place gave me , together with Hpa An lodge in the south of the country, the best good feeling of Myanmar.No internet , no Tv, waw... "Warmest of welcomes to the campsite from Dhanu and the crew Superb accomodation combining outdoors and luxury The best food we ate (and we had a lot to compare to!) in fantastic setting outdoors with just the right amount of background to the ingredients. We were also made to feel very special as it was our honeymoon And of course, what we came for was the safari and it far exceeded expectations. Not only were we lucky enough to see a leopard, but we were given so much time and care to ensure we got the big picture and could enjoy the breathtaking wildlife and scenery We will be talking about this short trip for days!! Loved Pingyao and loved this beautiful hotel. From our gorgeous room with courtyard view to the incredibly attentive staff, our stay here was perfect. It rained a lot during our stay, but we spent a great morning making noodles in a cookery class with Henry (who was very patient), and the beef noodle soup with pickled vegetables for breakfast was one of the best dishes we had in China.
