The Governor’s House: "SUPERBE!"
Nice boutique hotel. I just LUVED the colonial style. Hotel is well situated and you can have a tuk tuk or taxi at the hotel. Hotel has a night guard. Lovely people, helpful, good breakfast (healty) and delicious gin (Hendrikx) tonics :-)Reverie Siam: "Little Thai Venice"
Very nice place - Little Thai Venice. We have a beautiful relax day in our trip from Chiang Mai. Fantastic breakfast. Nice bar near the river. Beautiful view of the big white Budha statue and the mountain. The Twelve Hotel: "Pleasant"
Quiet oasis in Bangkok. The hotel is quiet, clean and the owners are friendly. Bedding is excellent and tasteful decoration. This is a small hotel on a human scale. A little far from the subway or foot to BTS but tuk tuk will cost you 50 Bath. In short I would go back because I have spent a great timeTugu Bali: "An amazing experience"
A few days ago my wife and I were fortunate enough to have the absolute pleasure of staying at the amazingly beautiful TUGU HOTEL. We cannot be more complimentary about the facilities, the ambiance and the staff, who themselves left us in awe at their willingness to please us at every opportunity. We dined at the adjoining Ji Restaurant which should be placed on everyone's 'TO DO' list, as dining there is remarkable....the food, the staff, and the cocktails are beyond compare. A truly exhilarating experience and the Balinese Dancers were a cultural 'plus' and one that we are very keen to repeat!Reverie Siam: "Beautiful hotel!"
The hotel was stuning and the room with the stand alone bath tab (river view) was amazing! The gardens, the lobby and of course the rooms were just gorgeous and very relaxing! The only minus was the restaurant- although it had a great tasety food it was all tiny so if you are hungry it's problematic to eat there. However breakfast was nice and the staff brought us more bread, and juice when needed. The staff were also very kind, and overall I would recommand this beautiful place to friends! P.s- it is 5 min from the walking streets of Pai but the hotel runs a shuttle that will take you whenever you want until 11pm, which was great for us!4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing experience"
"It was my first time to go ""glamping"" with my family and we have certainly set the standard very high by staying at 4Rivers. The rooms/tents were phenomenal - they were very well kept and had everything we could possibly need to have a comfortable rest after a day's adventure. The food was also great - the best we had in Cambodia! The service was fantastic - polite and gracious at every turn - from front desk, to housekeeping, to the chef and to the manager - everyone made sure that we had a lovely stay - and that we surely did. We were also fortunate enough to meet some of the elders from the local community and were able to better appreciate 4Rivers' strong corporate social responsibility. Needless to say, we had a memorable and amazing experience and can't wait to be back."The Island Lodge: "“Thank you Michel"
"Really enjoyed our two night stay with Michel and Francoise. This place is exactly what it says on the packet - a quiet retreat outside HCM. We tried the spa (massage) and the morning bike ride with Michel. Really enjoyed both. If l had one wish it would have been for a couple of stable classics on the menu - maybe a burger and a pasta. But the food was great so no issues there :) FYI. Car transfers took 2 hours from the city."Hotel Tugu Bali: "A hidden gem in the heart of Gu Town"
Definitely a place of serenity and peace of mind, from the beautiful artefacts scattered around the property to one of the best customer experiences we've experienced throughout our stay in Bali. Tugu held a Christmas dinner the other day, meal was amazing and can rest assure we'll be back again.Maison Polanka: "Sublime. The perfect balance in every respect"
Maison Polonka blew me and my friends away. Very rarely do you walk away from a hotel stay speechless at the friendliness, the serenity, the service, and the ability to go above and beyond. From the gardens to the pool, as well as the stunning rooms, Maison Poloka has nailed it. But beyond that, the service was extraordinary, from the first pick up, through to helping get a flight delayed so we would not miss it (!!). Yes, that happened. Attentive without being smothering; friendly and absolutely genuine. I would normally keep such a place a secret, for fear of it getting swamped and me never being able to stay there again - but when it's this good the world needs to know about it and they deserve every booking they get.Tugu Lombok: "SPECTACULAR!"
"Upon arrival at Hotel Tugu even though we had never stayed there or met we were treated like old special friends. From that moment on the customer service just kept getting better. We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 & 8 in an 2 room villa with 2 amazing outdoor bathrooms. Hotel staff arranged 3 separate tours - 1 to the Islands snorkelling and exploring, one horse drawn cart through the local streets and also a visit to local schools to experince some Lombok culture. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite only having 1 main restaurant, they offer an exceptional menu that offers different specials every evening. Also with an option to eat anywhere on the resort at anytime - beach, room, roof top, garden setting etc. The photo's do not do the hotel justice - the experience of being immersed in the local artwork, manicured gardens and pristine beach was phenomenal . Offering everything from paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkelling, beach table tennis and swings were all inclusive. The 2 pools were a perfect for swimming all day! It was quiet and allowed us the time to chill and unwind. The staff worked like a real team - knowing everything about us and being there when we needed without feeling like they were on top of you. Having a large selection of board games kept us all entertined and occupied when we were not participating in the many activities mentioned above. This was truly an amazing experience."
