"Hotel was surrounded by beautiful and impressive nature. The food was very good (in a such remote place I was not expecting this level). The manager and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a boat tour to a very beautiful waterfall longer up the river. And if you want, you can take the kayak back. "I stayed in Maduzi for 3days I’m satisfied with the services that they gave to us, the room, the food and assistance are great. Stayed two nights at the floating lodge 25-27th August. The staff are very helpful and the tents are luxurious. There is nothing better than to wake up in the morning to the sunshine and the river just outside. Great after the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh.jing: "Old world charm in total comfort"
"This is a lovely hotel in the historic city of Pingyao. The owner has spared no expense to create a comfortable hotel but you definitely know that you are in China. It is located in the center of the small town so it is convenient for sightseeing and walking. The staff was personally trained by the owner and they are always attentive. It is a very special place. it would be very hard to fault this "dream come true", the inspired design is beautifully finished and full of wonderfully enchanting details, from the magical library of olde-world books in the restaurant/lounge to the Smith Corona typewriter in our room obviously a lot of love has been lavished on this Reverie. We are staying here as i write and will extend our visit to soak up the refreshingly relaxing ambiance. Town is just a few minutes away and a free shuttle is provided until late but it is hard to leave when the kitchen keeps dishing up such quality serves by a complement of staff who will cater your every whim and engage you with sweet pleasure. "We stayed three days and two nights in this slice of paradise. The setting is terrific and the service and attention to detail was even better. The fusion of French and Lao cuisine was sensational and the presentation a delight for the eye. The staff to a person clearly has been well trained and look for opportunities to please. We happen to be visiting a day after my birthday and of course they surprised us with an evening of lighting candle lanterns to send off good blessings into the clear evening sky. This boutique hotel has struck an exquisite balance between ancient and modern. The authentic courtyard building has retained its innate period charm, whilst they’ve managed to install some sort of genius plumbing/electrical system behind the scenes so that the facilities are absolutely up-to-date and reliable, with brilliant hot spa-like showers w/ plenty of pressure. The rooms are all different (in shape, size, and decor), supremely comfortable, and beautifully designed. Simple, elegant, traditional courtyard style with a touch of Indonesian influence I’d say. The rooms are laid out around a series of courtyards and lantern-lined stone corridors that make you feel like you’ve time travelled. A lovely, special place. "We stopped here for lunch on a Kombi Tour and the staff were super friendly and attentive, even bringing my son out some calamine lotion for a rash they noticed he had. The food and cocktails were awesome, there is a pool to swim with towels provided. There are also raised day beds to chill out and view the beach across the road. This place reminds me of Antonio's in my own hometown. A great restaurant tucked in the outskirts of the city. Great food. Great Ambiance. Great Service. Incredibly affordable at that. Now to think of it, this place is what "Antonio's" in every city should aspire to be. I had the set menu of salmon gravlax, pumpkin soup, braised beef cheeks, and sticky toffee pudding- all excellent. The additional black truffles felt short of expectations though- void of any scent or aroma.
