Rachamankha: "A little oasis"

Did not know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Such a little oasis in the middle of town. Cleverly renovated with lots of small touches that makes it stand out from the rest. Service was impeccable, specially in the restaurant. We totally loved our stay here. It quiet and very "zen" like, whatever that is, it's perfect!

Tugu Malang: "Tempo Doeloe feeling"

The hotel is a mixture of luxury and history. The rooms give a feel of the "good" (only for the Dutch) colonial old times, with the hand hammered baths. And the whole atmosphere is the hotel is friendly and service minded. The for is excellent and the hotel itself has a fantastic mix of antiquities within its walls (Chinese (most), Dutch and Indonesian. It was a pleasure going to the rooms with my 17 year old daughter and see her recognize drawings and pictures of Kublai Kahn and Sun Yat Sen. Great hotel.

Cuca: "Glorious food!!"

The taste of the foods is so delicious that you can feel the passion and creative of the chef from each bite. Modern loungy restaurant with great dishes and amazing tastes. Not to mention friendly staff with well demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for the food. It is really a great place that you must visit at Bali!!

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing trip, missed out on boat ride"

I really enjoyed this trip, it was the most fun i ever had for such a long time. The staffs were amazing and so polite and the hotel in itself was a sight to be amazed by. I stayed in the hotel for 3 days but it was the best 72 hours i ever experienced. I really do hope to come again

Manda De Laos: "Mesmerizing setting at night, great cuisine"

Manda de Laos sits on the sides of a beautiful pond, with lilies and fairy lights, that give a close to magical atmosphere to your dinner. Lovely (and delicious).

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Magical stay!"

"We spent 2 nights at Tiger Mountain but it could have been much more. Superb stay from our first pick up and welcome to our goodbye. From Pokhara it is about 40 min drive up the mountain on a typical Nepali road but then you arrive in an tranquil oasis where you will only hear the birds. Lodge is located on a mountain with sweeping views over Pokhara valley on both sides. Rooms have amazing views towards the Himalayas, perfect for sunrise watching (they will serve coffee/tea and cookies at about 5.30 in your room to accompany the sunrise) Upon our arrival, the lunch table was set on the terrace with a view to the Himalayas and we were served delicious Nepali dishes. Tea was served in the afternoon with home made snacks. Followed by happy hour at 6 and diner around 7.30. Again with delicious Nepali dishes. Had amazing jackfruit curry, some sort of stir fried ferns, spinach dish, home made chutneys, water buffalo curries. I think I would have exploded after a week at the lodge as I had to finish everything. Quality of the food is fantastic, all organic, grown in the area, fresh and everything home made. Even the herbal tea came from their own garden. In the morning there was home made yoghurt with homemade muesli, homemade jams & preserves, honey from Pokhara, homemade bread. Yummy. The lodge offers guides to take you for walks according to your liking. We did a village walk around the hotel and the next day a ridge walk where we had beautiful views over the rice terraces, villages and Himalayas. The guide took us through villages and explained about village life. Staff at the lodge is fantastic: friendly, helpful and offering great service. There is a swimming pool with again magical views, certainly in the early morning you can see the Himalayas reflected in the water. It is a shame it is so far away from Hong Kong otherwise I would be back for a relaxing long weekend. And there is only wifi in the lobby (if it is working, this is Nepal) so relaxing is really good as you can't connect to the outside world! Sandat Glamping Tents: "Incredible experience"

During the New Year break my boyfriend and I stayed at Sandat Glamping Tents for 2 nights. We currently live in Singapore and although it wasn't our first trip to Bali it was our first visit to Ubud. On arrival we were instantly blown away by what Sandat had to offer. The architecture is just incredible! We stayed in Lumbung Legong and I can honestly say it was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was so much attention to detail and the place was spotlessly clean. Not only is the bedroom spacious and comfortable but you also get a large area downstairs to lounge around in or escape the sun in the afternoons. It is also very private. The bathroom is outside which makes for a wonderful and unique experience. Breakfast was fantastic (and I am very picky!) and we enjoyed a wonderful massage one afternoon by our room. The best thing about the whole experience is that you really feel like you are in paradise. The staff don't disturb you or fuss over you yet they cater for all your needs. It's a small resort therefore you feel extremely well looked after (...) A truly incredible and unique experience. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks!

Labyrinth: "Tasting Menu not to be missed"

We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Definitely worth the visit. Service was great and each course was well explained. Restaurant was a little difficult to find in the shopping centre with limited signage but a delightful evening - would recommend.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Fantastic"

Cozy and historic experience. I can recommend this accommodation to my family and friends with confidence. Penang itself is also cozy and relaxing city. A staff is well trained and kind enough. Especially, atmosphere of night is unique and unforgettable,

Villa Mathis: "Impeccable service in a stunning location"

"I stayed overnight at Villa Mathis (lombok room). The room is huge and very beautiful. The decor is sumptuous. My room had an office desk, which is perfect for laptop (work). The restaurant and the gardens/houses are interesting : there are statues, curtains, giant chairs and stone chess boards, as well as reading areas. - So much space!! The gardens are impeccably manicured. The staff is experienced but at the same time they are discreet. Breakfast is huge (too much:) and they have decent coffee. The bungalows are in what they call a ""villa""; grouped around a pool and open space living area. And everywhere you look, you can discover museum-like items.I didn't venture into the other areas but I understand that each bungalow is different. I was in an area called ""maison rouge"". Definitely a great romantic hotel."
