Inle Princess Resort: "A Magical Location"

Review by: Gordon25_11 | Source: Trip Advisor
This hotel is on Lake Inle and the arrival by lake boat with the traditional leg rower is truly unforgettable. Our room was right on the lakeside with a verandah with easy chairs and loungers. The wildlife comes to you. The staff were brilliant, even managing breakfast at 5 in the morning on two occasions. Restaurant was spacious with very attentive staff. There was the option of eating outside on the verandah. Lanterns, torches and mosquito repellent were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

The Island Lodge: "Everything you need plus more"

Review by: MrsKSB61 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed here as part of the Les Rives Mekong Delta two day tour and found the Island Lodge a wonderful experience . On arrival we were greeted by Michel and given a refreshing welcome drink .Our room looked over the pool and the river and was decorated in an airy tropical relaxed style . There were guidebooks and magazines on the desk which I thought was a nice touch , although we didn't have time to read them ! After a swim in the gorgeous pool , where we found towels and sun hats thoughtfully laid out , we headed downstairs for dinner .The bar area was lovely and the staff very polite and efficient . Our dinner was beautiful ( we had chosen from the menu on check-in ) , every mouthful was delicious . A lovely Beaujolais complimented the food beautifully . Breakfast next morning was from the a la carte menu and we were told we could have as much as we wanted . I would recommend the Eggs Benedict ... Checkout was smooth and efficient , I would have loved to stay longer ! Being a guest at the Island Lodge was a relaxing experience from start to finish. . Thank you to Michel and staff - we'd love to return one day . Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"

MesaStila: "Unique and absolutely magical place"

Review by: desertnomad68 | Source: Trip Advisor
This place is very special, a collection of beautifully resorted traditional Java buildings, set in magnificent grounds, with the focal point being a grand, old Dutch plantation house. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and attend to your every need - you are truly pampered here. Meals were an absolute delight, all made with fresh, organic and locally-sourced ingredients. Our room was huge, beautiful and full of character - especially the amazing mosaic bathtub that could easily have fit three people! You will leave feeling blissfully calm and pampered. Very highly recommended and many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "a superb hotel – with great attention to detail and outstanding service"

Review by: paulConran | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have been to India many times and have been fortunate to stay in many wonderful hotels. But by any comparison, the Neeleshwar Hermitage stands out as among the best for its perfect combination of outstanding service, food, location and attention to detail. Rarely do even the best hotels in the world get all of these right, every day. Our main interest is in seeing and experiencing everyday life in India. For us, one of the attractions of Neeleshwar Hermitage is that there is a lot to see locally and it’s easy, with the help of the hotel, to get about. We found the manager immediately understood what we wanted to do, and was very helpful with the ideas and arrangements to enable us to make the most of our 6 day stay. You don’t have to go anywhere of course, and when it is hot and the skies blue (as it was when we were there) it is tempting to head to the pool and stay there. It is a beautiful pool. It’s also very well situated, overlooking a long, wide sandy beach that is also used a lot by the local villagers. The design and materials throughout contribute a lot to the feeling of a very relaxing, comfortable place to stay. And it is extremely well thought through, to maintain that special ambience. The tables in the main restaurant, for example, are fixed in position, each with their own ceiling fan directly overhead, and there is a lot of space between them. This means you feel like you have a lot of space and privacy, and makes it feel very peaceful. The tables are similarly well placed a good distance apart in the excellent seafood restaurant by the beach. Juices, beers and local wine are all readily available wherever you are but there is no formal bar, either by the pool or in the main lounge area, which again helps to keep things quieter than it can be in some places. Smoking is not allowed anywhere, indoors or out. All of these elements are important, but it’s even better: we found the service, without exception, to be outstanding. Every single person got it exactly right. They also work very well together. It may be an informal beach hotel, but there is great attention to detail. This is not a hotel that is particularly easy to get to. We flew from Mumbai to Mangalore, and from there it is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. But if you like India, and don’t mind some dusty, bumpy roads, there is always a lot to see on the way. The Neeleshwar Hermitage seems to attract people who are looking for peaceful surroundings. Only as we were leaving did we see one very demonstrative guest, who had just arrived, waving a mobile phone by the pool. The rest was a beautiful silence, in what must be one of the best hotels in southern India."

Tugu Bali: "Astounding"

Review by: Josh M | Source: tripadvisor.com
First off this hotel is magical in every way visually, ultimate Bali. What your dream version of Bali might be before you ever come here. Ever room is massive and filled with real art. But the grounds are the real gem here. If at all possible the Le Mayeur suite is one of the most astounding rooms I've ever seen in any suite on the entire planet. And for the price of a good hotel room in most places the suite is beyond worthy particular if your looking for something romantic. Good service as well! Highly highly highly recommended.

Rachamankha: "A zen oasis in a thriving city"

Review by: D N W | Source: Trip Advisor
An remarkable zen experience, carefully designed and beautifully manicured grounds, surprising outside living room niches to relax and reflect, architectural brilliance, breathtaking antiques in every corner, friendly management, comfortable rooms, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, a gorgeous pool, a spectacular library. Only disappointment was the restaurant. We had some difficulty with breakfast service on the first day, but the management corrected that situation by the next day. Location is perfect. Our taxi driver affiliated with the hotel was so extraordinary that we hired him to take us on city tours for 2 days. After a day of running around, the grounds provided immediate tranquility. Would stay there as often as I could return to Chiang Mai.

Les Maisons d’Itac: "Absolutely Amazing"

Review by: kmgk | Source: Trip Advisor
It's no wonder that this resort is listed in Secret Retreats www.secret-retreats.com - probably one of the best resorts in the South Western part of Cebu Island, what a find! The resort only has 5 accommodation types from houses to studio types. Very modern, staff excellent, manager amazing, food fantastic - I can say all wonderful things about Les Maison d'Itac! Plus, it is absolutely child friendly, the pool is located in a safe distance and the beach is only 2steps down, we were never worried having kids around. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visit Cebu! I will definiely return in the future.

Mie Cafe: "Wonderful experience!"

Review by: Yana_Sh | Source: Trip Advisor
"A dinner in this restaurant was amazing! The food is interesting, very well presented, and creative! Clear that the chef knows what he is doing! It was a pleasure meeting him and have a little chat. Even the rain didn't ruin the experience, and may be made it even more special. Extremely recommended!"
