Villa Song: "Tranquil and luxurious"

Review by: Nanachubs | Source: Trip Advisor
We ended our Vietnam visit at the Villa Song Hotel. It was the perfect ending to a fascinating holiday. Saigon is an exhilarating, bustling city with challenges at every corner: motorbikes in swarms which do not respect pedestrian crossings. How wonderful, therefore, to be able to whisk into the very heart of District 1 by speedboat and to return the same way and thereafter relax by the river, sip a sunset cocktail and be pampered by the hotel staff who are so anxious to please. We were impressed with every aspect of this elegant hotel, particularly the salt-water swimming pool which is large and inviting. A big breakfast is served from 6am until 10pm! Such a brilliant idea. The rooms (we stayed in the Arts suite) are tastefully appointed with a complimentary mini-bar, fruit every day and a surprise sweet delight in the early evening. A stunningly beautiful hotel with stunningly beautiful and attentive staff.

Sandat Glamping Tents: "Exceptionnal"

Review by: Aijki | Source: Trip Advisor
Eco hotel, peacefull. You feel the passion of the owners in every corner. Far from excessive touristic part of ubud, relax and enjoy the nature. Amazing architecture made mainly with bamboo. Limited menu but tasty and fresh. Only 8 room guaranty privacy. An unique expérience...

Le Calao: "Fabulous location, food, wine and service."

Review by: M44SEL | Source: Trip Advisor
"We discovered this new restaurant which has connections with L'Elephant when we wanted a glass of wine prior to the Storytelling. We were made to feel very welcome and had a glass of delicious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We returned the next night for dinner and had a excellent Lao meal in beautifully restored building overlook the Mekon. Portions are generous and only the best vegetables and ingredients are used. Another bottle of the SB was enjoyed. Good sevice with just the right amount of attention. Le Calao has only been open for a couple of months so it was only a quarter full but I am sure one will need to reserve once it is better known."

Muang La Lodge: "Beautiful lodge"

Review by: alitelsey | Source: Trip Advisor
Mung La Lodge is a beautiful ecolodge and a bit of paradise. The hot spring baths, the wonderful dinners and the terrific service contribute to a terrific relaxing stay. We stayed three nights and didn't want to leave.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Is heaven better"

Review by: Higgieboy | Source: Trip Advisor
We first visited this resort two years ago. Our SECOND visit to this wonderful place included two nights on their houseboat The Lotus and four nights at the resort. It is very difficult to add to previous glowing reviews except to say that it still remains the most lovely experience. The staff are a delight, nothing is too much trouble, the food is of the highest standard and we think a privilege to be able to stay here. The attention to detail is a huge complement to the management.

JL Studio: "精緻新穎的新加坡料理"

Review by: 靖灝 彭 | Source: Trip Advisor

Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "Quiet Getaway"

Review by: Luc R | Source: Trip Advisor
"What and amazing experence I had here. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in while traveling through india. It was so great I extended my stay! it was such a different experence out in the countryside, peacefull and very beautiful away from the hecticness of the city - I had the opertunity to be taken through the small surrounding village and meet some of the local people. I was even invited into someone's house for some chi (tea) and to see how the locals lived experiencing an aspect of India the larger hotels just don't offer. Also, as Talabgoan is the home of the owners polo team, there are a bunch of fantastic horses - I don't ride but for someone who does it's a terrific destination. The hotel itself is a combination of the old family castle that has been converted into a modern boutique hotel designed to match the highest Europen standards. Amazing food, fantastic pool and a great bar - an oasis in a traditional Indian lanscape - A must visit!"

Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort: "Lovely stay"

Review by: celesteliebson | Source: Trip Advisor
We had a great stay at this property. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the castle itself is quite lovely. The food was enjoyable and dinner was served around the pool area. Each table had a bon fire which added to the atmosphere and was very effective in keeping us warm on a cold winters evening. We enjoyed a walk around the local village in the late afternoon. It was very authentic and the local kids were cute. We didn't see the need to go on the camel ride around the area. The service was extremely attentive, bordering on overbearing. That would be my only (minor) criticism. The staff seemed overly desperate for tips and we felt that there was constant pressure on us to put our hand in our pocket. The rates for this hotel were very high at the time we visited (it was peak season) and we tipped generously but still felt that we hadn't given enough. We wonder what the staff are paid. It made us feel a bit edgy during our stay. Overall though I would recommend a night at this place. It was enjoyable stay and the peace and quiet was a welcome relief from the chaos of Jaipur.

Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Best of cambodia"

Review by: sulunz | Source: Trip Advisor
We travelled from Phnom Penh to Siem reap and stayed 2 nights at this beautiful place. We arrived in the evening, then the staff organised a fantastic day trip for us. One more evening and we had to check out. Breakfast was wonderful. Service amazing. Room authentic and lovely. This was my favourite place to stay in the whole of Cambodia. There is a reason Angelina Jolie stayed here when she made her latest film. It's the best. My only regret...I wish we had stayed 4 nights. Battambang deserves more time than a quick stop over.

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Very special meal with great food, cocktails and service"

Review by: Jennie B | Source: Trip Advisor
"We weren't impressed by the food in Cambodia with the exception of this meal, which we would love to revisit again and again! Thankfully for the prices (high by cambodian standards but low by international standards) this would actually be feasible!) The food: - Was outstanding, with lots of attention to detail and fresh ingredients! - Everything we ate was unusual and interesting with tons of different components and very involved preparation. Each dish was unique in its own way and delicious! - They have a set menu but it doesn't feel limiting because you can choose between two meal options as well as a vegetarian menu - The cocktails were incredibly delicious and there was a huge variety to choose from! The service: - Was wonderful with very attentive staff who made sure that we were enjoying everything and understood what we were eating and drinking. They brought out very cool little interesting fruits for dessert after our meal which we really enjoyed!"
