Reverie Siam: "Great place to relax and amazing food"
"We stayed for 3 nights in this charming resort, we came in from chiang mai by car, an interesting 2,5 h drive through a curvy landscape... We got a villa, as requested, with very good privacy (no11), everything in the villa is exactly as you see it on the internet.. The resort itself has a colonial style, very well done, we had all our dinners over here, their staff will do everything to accomodate you, food was outstanding (although more western style), but really delicious. We asked one night to be seated with view on the river, again no problem at all ! Breakfast is another great moment, nothing to fault on it. The resort itself has free transport to Pai, which itself is a small laidback town, nice nightmarket, you can very easily rent a (cheap) vespa style bike, driving around is easy, the main attraction points will not overwhelm you but because of the laidback nature it stays charming. Overall we loved our stay overhere, great place to stay, excellent staff, excellent food, we for sure would recommend this to anyone visiting Pai."Sea Dance Resort: "Very nice upmarket resort with personalized service"
This is a beautiful small resort with cozy villas with pool or jaccuzzi. Very personalized service by the team and the owner himself. We had a great time there and really enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended!Glenburn Tea Estate: "Highly recommended"
"Beyond expectations..... loved this place, it was the highlight of our trip and wished we had stayed much longer. Great hosts, good homemade food (plus the tea) and one of the great hotel views of the world. In retrospect the drive to get there is nothing compared to Sikkim or Shimla and I would happily do it again even with a fear of heights. Recommend the Tea Tour, walk down to the river and the little on site shop for gifts.....now feel very guilty using tea bags. Would suggest coffee/tea making stuff in the room, did not feel right to ring late at night or early morning for it although we were told we could..."The Cabochon Hotel: "Excellent + cozy"
Well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our month in Asia. A wonderful little hideaway amidst the madness of Bangkok's 10 million noise-makers. Don't sleep on the restaurant, either. It's quiet but truly exceptional.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Best cuisine"
I have not enough words to thank the most exciting chef in cambodia. Never been disappointex after all these years. Thank you Johannest ! amazing evening !Supanniga Eating Room: "Delicious lunch in a fabulous setting"
Casual but well thought out setting; more importantly a very satisfying meal! Fresh & tastey; & service was efficient. Few dishes that I saw on menu that I will make a return visit in the near future. The Island Lodge: "Lovely Place to stay"
"We stayed 2 nights at the Island Lodge during our tour of Cambodia and Vietnam, and my wife and I loved it. Away from the hustle and Bustle of HCMC , The Island Lodge is a peaceful oasis and I cant recommend them highly enough. We stayed in a Garden View room , the attention to detail all over the resort is exceptional, and the staff with a special mention to Aime'e are a delight nothing is too much trouble. So if you fancy a relaxing break while visiting some of the hectic cities of Vietnam , do yourselves a favour and check out the Island Lodge you wont be disappointed."Tugu Lombok: "Magical place"
"I remember we arrived at Tugu around 9pm. While checking in two families arrived. They were on the same flight we were from Singapore. Looking all around I exclaimed ""What a beautiful place!""... And the guy next to me replied ""It's a magical place!"" That's what Tugu is. A magical place. It's not a luxury place, it may not be the best hotel you've ever been! But it may very well be an experience you will never forget. We enjoyed the Villa, the different places where we had dinners, the beach, the excursion to the Gili islands and overall we enjoyed the people. Thank you for let us fell so well! "Tugu Bali: "Beauty in Bali"
"We had a lovely stay here in September, sadly of only 2 nights... We were greeted and welcomed so well when we arrived after a long journey and nothing was too much for the staff. This area of Canggu is near to Echo Beach and a part of Bali that we see has not been spoilt yet... We were told that Seminyak was the place to go but I disagee and would strongly advise this area as it is more pure and real Bali than Seminyak. Our Dedari suite room at the hotel was truly beautiful and an outdoor/indoor bathroom with fish pond! Only downside was that we thought the hotel was on the beach but it isn't although just a few steps away..."Sukoon Houseboat: "Surely this is the best"
"Sukoon means Peace, and this beautiful houseboat stands serene in a quiet part of Dal Lake. Hospitality begins at the jetty, with a transfer on Sukoon's big motor-powered shikara. Furnishings and beds are comfortable, bathrooms have a large tub and a large shower-stall, maintenance and cleanliness are immaculate, service is warm, discreet and highly professional. The sundeck on the roof is perfect for al fesco breakfast and lunch. What more could one want?"
