Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A unique experience, best service you can find"

"We have traveled a lot around the world in both high luxury hotels and small guesthouses, but we must admit that I have rarely had such a nice experience as the one we got at Thahara Inle Heritage. To us, this hotel has it all : the luxury bungalows with quiet private terrace right in the middle of Inle lake (that you would expect to find in a a 5* hotel) and the adorable welcoming service that you can only find in small intimate guesthouses. Plus, the food is divine (and the breakfast, Oh My !) and very much affordable for the location, so what more can we ask for ? Well, you could wish that your money goes to a good cause, and it does. Thahara Inle Heritage is part of the not-for-profit training center that prepare local young people for careers in restaurants and hotels. That explains the amazing and welcoming service ! It also had its own amazing garden full of delicious vegetables, which explains the amazing local cuisine of their restaurant, and works towards full sustainability, so you are assured to contribute to a green stay. You can also take part in one of their cooking class if you have time, surely the best one you can find in the country ! Or you can just wander around the Thahara, pay a visit to their Burmese cat center or check out their local Aquarium. Or you can hop on a boat and head to Nampan market, 5 minutes away, or leave for a memorable boat drive to the Sankar, on the very southern shores of the lake. Endless possibilities, total freedom, breathtaking views. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Myanmar. PS: as for the previous comment, fear nothing if you are a light sleeper, Thahara provides you with earplugs in your room, though we did not need them. And if you are afraid to be cold at night on the lake, you will be happily surprised to find hot water bottles in your bed to warm you up when you come back to your bungalow at night. Brilliant. Misool: "EXISTE PARAISO NA TERRA"

O Hotel Misool em Raja Ampat realmente esta localizado no jardim do édem do planeta terra.Hotel fantastico com estrutura maravilhosa e atendimento espetacular,Todos deveriam ter pelo menos uma vez na vida a oportunidade de conhecer este hotel e este lugar.Paraíso perdido no planeta terra.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Stunning location – pontoon into the sea a great plus"

"We were only there for one night, but it's a spectacular location - 12 nicely designed bungalows in a green park where you can't see or hear your neighbors. There were two Khmer families shooting their wedding albums - which gives you some idea of how nice it was - and with a 25 mètre pool you don't need to do into the sea - but there is a 59 mètre or so pier which takes you over the initial mud and far enough out that the sea is easy to swim in Food was excellent - although slightly bizarrely they had no fish or crabs. Extremely Eco friendly, and very nice staff Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Heaven on Earth"

"This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, peace and tranquillity by the Arabian Sea, heaven on earth. The service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in a lovely cottage called Shanti overlooking the sea, attention to detail was of the highest standard, everything was perfect. There are just 12 cottages which make it very special. The spa was the best we have ever been too, we had a Shirodhara massage, amazing... we were rejuvenated and calmed. Breakfast was at the beach restaurant, (food was of the highest standard) after early morning yoga, what a beautiful way to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Neeleshwar, and hope to return again. "

Jing’s Residence: "Sublime"

Stayed in the master suite which was stunning with its 200 year old beams and tastefully designed room. Service from all the staff was excellent especially Imam who couldn't have been more helpful. Meals were also good and the location excellent.

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Great dining experience"

A great dining experience with a good degustation menu - a unique Thai-influenced menu with great wine pairings. Sadly located in a hidden back lane in the city. I had trouble trying to locate the place and found my way walking there a little unsafe.

Tugu Bali: "My kind of Paradise!"

It was one of a kind romantic experience to stay in Tugu Bali Hotel. All was amazing there! The hotel is a kind of a museum, exhibiting a collection of ancient Asian art and crafts, sellected by the owner himself. Walking on alleys, passing through the lobby or some of the restaurants, you not only enjoy the design, but you learn a lot about the culture in details. The romantic villas make you feel more than special. My husband and I are higly impressed by Tugu Bali!

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Home away from home"

"My 10the stay at this wonderful, simple and warm lodge. Staff are second to none, food is delicious, the views are simply stunning! Jhalak and Hari made us feel very welcome and spoilt us rotten! The rooms all have a view and are spread over the property in chalets. Morning tea is served there and used as a wake up call. No tv or telephones in room. This preserves the tranquil atmosphere."

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Very glad we stayed here"

"First & foremost, the staff at Seadancer were fantastic. Tum, Poy and Faith went above & beyond the call of duty to ensure my wife and I had a relaxing holday. I can't thank them enough and we would love to come back one day. Our room was very clean and had the most amazing view over the beach. The food was really nice and we also had a wonderful Thai massage in the Spa. Only one downside - the beach which was very rocky. Everything else absolutely fantastic. Thank you all so much!
