MesaStila: "Food for soul"
"We loved the lodge, from the moment we arrived the warm welcome and the stunning location were as much as we could have hoped for. From kayaking in the mangroves to swimming in the waterfalls and in the river just outside your tent - this place is anything but dull - check out their activity programme. We are vegan & vegetarian and the staff accommodated us completely - with a varied and changing menu with multiple options every day. Highly recommended - and having read the very few negative reviews I can only think of them as truly bizarre. This is heaven on Earth."Samanea Beach Resort: "Great Resort"
"Loved staying here and the rooms were amazing. The staff were very friendly and were always there to help when needed. I traveled with my 2 daughters aged 3 and 6 and the staff were very accomodating to their needs and made sure they were well looked after as well. The rooms were spotless and the outdoor shower / bath was amazing. Would recommend to stay here and we will be going back for sure."Flower Island: "A Great Place To Relax"
"I have been to Flower Island a few times and I am always ready to return. The people are very friendly and hospitable and the beaches are among the best I have been to. If you really want to get away from it all and pull up a recliner and read a book surrounded by endless views this is your place. Stayed October 2015, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "Oasis"
"We were fortunate to stay here, albeit during the coldest weather in years! This is a true 5* property with wonderfully gracious staff. The location is perfect for walking to most areas you would want to see while in Chiang Mai. Breakfast is more than most would expect and in the evening the food is very good. "Villa Song Saigon: "Worth every penny"
"What an incredible stay at Villa Song. From the moment we arrived the staff ensured everything was 100% perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The area is amazing, lots of cool bars and restaurants. It's about a 20 min drive from the city, but the hotel has a boat that takes you right in and brings you right back in about 10 mins max. The rooms were beautiful as was the pool area. We also had the best cocktail we've ever had here. Bar was superb. Can't recommend this place enough - will never stay anywhere else in Ho Chi Minh. Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"Reverie Siam Pai: "Lovely and different hotel"
Pai was our second city stop in our Thailand trip. We decided to stay at the Reverie Siam as it is close to the main streets of Pai but caters to guests outside of the backpacking crowd. It is definitely like stepping back in time with the type of decor and being slightly secluded with wonderful views of the mountains and river. We stayed in a private villa which offered its own garden view. The bedroom itself is air conditioned but the bathroom is not. We stayed at the end of May/beginning of June and really didn't find the no ac a problem - although I never tried to blow dry my hair for those who would want to do this. The hotel included breakfast every morning from an a la carte menu and we decided to have drinks there every evening. The bar offers lots of fun cocktails, infused gins, and one of the better wine lists we saw while in Thailand. The shuttle runs frequently to the main streets of Pai in the evening, and is only a short 3-4 minute ride. We swam in both pools and enjoyed them both and overall felt very relaxed during our time in Pai.David’s Kitchen: "Memorable evening"
Three of us had an exceptional dinner at David's Kitchen where the service was superb, the meals delicious and the evening one which we will long remember. The warm and personal welcome we received from David was the beginning of a wonderful time. The menu was extensive and everything looked so appetizing that we couldn't decide what to choose. But the lamb shank, pork loin and pumpkin soup were done beautifully and served by an attentive, friendly staff. We look forward to going back when we are in Chiang Mai again. Highly recommended indeed.Flower Island: "Relaxing in paradise"
"Staying here was like being in paradise- your own tropical heaven away from everything. There's some incredible coral reef around which makes for some excellent snorkelling: we saw turtles on a number of occasions as well as a plethora of tropical fish. They also have some giant clams in the coral right in front of the beach. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and on one day took us to a pearl farm. I highly recommend a visit to the pearl farm - it's so fascinating to see this industry at work (not to mention more amazing snorkelling opportunities along the way!) (...) You can also hike up to the light house (around 10-15 mins) to get some lovely 360 degrees views. And there is a stone path going around the island for running: a complete cycle is around 1.7km, so 3 rounds, we did 5.5km ish. Oh - and did I mention those stunning sunsets...?"Sanak Retreat Bali: "Amazing"
"Out of many places of wonderful Bali this is my personally all time favorite. We arrived to our bungalow at a magical moment while the sun was setting, extraordinary view over the rice-field and the valley. The spa is wonderful, you can get a massage in a open massage room surrounded by rice field. The food was ok but overpriced, would not recommend to eat there often. We walked up to the village above and had a wonderful time. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a Balinese stile and you can buy the art from the walls, we found out it was cheaper to buy it there than at the Seminiak market."
