Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful, cared for property"

Review by: huntforgoodtimes | Source: Trip Advisor
What a beautiful mansion and a fantastic guide. There are 3 tours a day (11am, 2:30pm and 3:30pm), which means the tour is busy (the only way to see the mansion) but also the guide knows exactly what she's talking about and is fantastic! Our guide, Pat, was super informative and also a lot of fun. It was also fantastic to see all the photos of the restoration work which they took great care over. Definitely worth a visit!

Mekong Villas: "Lazing by the Mekong"

Review by: Soph1605 | Source: Trip Advisor
I only stayed 1 night this time around but I really wanted to go back as I was in the area again. Once you enter the gate, you are in a secluded area, although the main road is just behind. The peacefulness that emanates from the grounds forces you to switch off. Not much to do at the property but that's the whole point: listen to nature around you, watch the life on the Mekong and just relax!!

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Harmony, quality and privacy"

Review by: Magda H | Source: Trip Advisor
"Our family visited Sea Dance at the end of December 2016. Since the very first moment, we felt very welcome and got a ""home feeling"" in combination with top quality and excellent comfort. The resort is not too big, which gives you feeling of privacy, but as everyone feels so much at ease there, there are plenty of opportunities to chat to other guests and staff members. Accommodation and facilities were perfect. There were always free chairs at the pool and plenty of clean towels. The food was amazing - everything beautifully presented, fresh and healthy and its prices really affordable. We spent a fantastic New Year's evening at Sea Dance - Atom and her band played live music, people danced, sang, ate and drank - it could really not be any better. Towards the end of our stay, we had a medical emergency and Mr Poy, the owner of the resort, took care of it personally, and helped us with everything we needed. We can definitely recommend Sea Dance to anyone, who looks for combination of privacy, quality, relax and entertainment, great food and fun! Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"

The River Resort: "Peaceful Retreat facing the Mekong"

Review by: Asiadvisor001 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Only 30mn from Pakse airport... right on the Mekong with a small island in the river in front of the resort. Huge land with trees, their own rice fields and gardens all around. It's a refill of oxygen to stay there. Excellent staff and friendly service under the supervision of Ton, the GM. I recommend to wake up early and admire the sunrise on the mekong from your balcony. Great restaurant also, with very generous portions Definitely recommended for people looking for a quiet and green environment and who enjoying activities in nature: walks, bike, boat trips..."

Tugu Lombok: "Urlaub"

Review by: Susanne S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Das Tugu Hotel ist ein Traum und ganz besonders für einen romantischen Urlaub zu empfehlen .In diesem Hotel stimmt alles!! Jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Augen abgelesen! Man fühlt sich wie in einer geborgen Familie, da es ein kleines ganz besonders liebevoll gepflegtes Hotel ist. Das Frühstück sensationell! Allerdings sehr einsam und abgelegen. Für Ruhesuchende Personen das perfekte Hotel. Stayed January 2017, traveled solo"

Supanniga Eating Room: "Like it so much that we went again within 5 days!"

Review by: yoidan | Source: Trip Advisor
The night that we went for dinner, the restaurant was packed! Good thing we made reservation. We're ushered upstairs our table was a low table with 2 armchairs near to a window. Restaurant is small and it is a tight squeeze. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is yummy. We had the mixed appetizer, the Ma Hor is fantastic, spicy morsel of meat goes well with the tangy orange. We also ordered the crab fried with yellow peppers amongst others. It was this dish that made us go back! And we didn't regret it. For our 2nd dinner we had other dishes beside the crab. All turned out to be so good! Definitely a must try place. Oh yes, don't forget the drinks, the cocktails are very good too. We didn't have dessert there as we planned to walk down the street to Maevaree for their fantastic mango sticky rice.

Locavore: "One of the best restaurants in Bali"

Review by: michaelsaf | Source: Trip Advisor
In short, Locavore is one of the best restaurants in Bali and in Indonesia. Just fantastic on every level and it offers some unique dining experiences. It really is a fun and interesting restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The food is delicious and it manages to tickle all your senses and taste buds. The only option here is the tasting menu (5 or 7 dishes) as there is no a la carte menu as far as I know. All the dishes were unique and creative and combined modern cooking with local and traditional cuisines. I think my favourite was the “Let’s call it a ceviche” fish dish and the “Into the sawah” duck egg dish. Both looked so beautiful and tasted terrific. In short, we all very much enjoyed our dinner here. The only thing that disappointed me was a cocktail that I had ordered, because I think it contained too much bitters. I couldn’t finish it. The food and presentation was amazing though. So, I think I’ll be back when they change their menu.

Amata Lanna: "A treat"

Review by: Fili-1 | Source: Trip Advisor
Small resort with few and luxurious rooms that all face the pool-manicured garden area. remarkably beautiful structure and attention to detail. Folks and always ready to give you the best advice on what to visit the beautiful Chiang Mai, attention should be friendly to Pong, owner of the hotel who greeted us in the best way in its structure. Council also highly recommend a massage at "The Home", a massage center agreement with the hotel which is a few kilometers away, went every day for three consecutive days. Ours was a perfect stay, very good.

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Fantastic place"

Review by: MaLi S | Source: Trip Advisor
"Entrance of the hotel was not attractive at all but the front desk lady was very friendly even though it was late at night. Once we stepped into the room I was impressed very elegant decoration and relaxed setting. Look like it's newly renovated. The bed is really comfortable, there are water and fruits. One suggestion is to be more environmental. So not change the soap, towel and all other things that can be reused. Another tip would be to put up a reminder for guest about the step down into the washroom to avoid people trip and fall! Breakfast btw was really really good!!! "

Tugu Bali: "A little jewel"

Review by: Globetrottersince78 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"The Hotel Tugu Bali is one of the best places I have ever staid in whilst traveling the world. The attention that is given to little details, like flower arrangements, candles, and even a little present on arrival & departure, was absolutely falttering. The staff is so friendly and sweet & make you feel special. Parts of the hotel are also museums & there are many limited collectors items you will not see anywhere else in the world. This is particularly charming as well. The hotel is located in beautiful Changgu, where a lot of the expats live, and which makes you be away from the hustle and busy bustle of Seminiak and Denpasar. You may want to consider renting a scooter to get around. There are many places to eat, and ithe beach is ideal for surfing. I had the suite with the private pool & I was in heaven :D I loved everything about Tugu Bali & put it very high on my recommendation list (and I am a picky person when it comes to hotels ;))"
