Muang La Lodge: "Relax here"

Review by: CHRIS W | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is luxury and the perfect place to relax, with great rooms, good food and a peaceful atmosphere just sitting in the gardens or by the pool. We stayed a few nights in upper floor riverside rooms. The rooms were a good size with comfortable beds and great balcony overlooking the river and the hot springs bathing area. Its well worth doing the 4x4 drive into the hills, as well as a guided walk around the local area which includes a pole raft across the river. The staff are friendly and helpful."

Anopura Resort: "Heaven on Earth"

Review by: MariekesAoL | Source: Trip Advisor
I have travelled extensively all over India for more than two decades and never come across a more perfect haven - the most wonderful respite after hectic days at JLF and the hurly burly of Jaipur. It is so rare to feel so spoiled in such an unspoiled setting of invigorating sweet air and such pleasing aesthetics. Ishwar and his team are without parallel for their genuine hospitality, highest standards of solicitous service and sheer warmth. There is so much to admire about this sanctuary - the pleasing artistic details, the supreme comfort, the cosseted sense of privacy and privilege and the most outstanding food.I cannot commend this place enough as somewhere to come to be at the still centre of the world, to rest and revive. One night is not long enough and even before leaving, yearn to return. Congratulations to everyone involved in this exceptional boutique project.

Mie Cafe: "Fabulous food – speciality vegan taster menu"

Review by: Sandra P | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were recommended this by the chef at Cusine Wat Damnak and were not at all disappointed. We selected the vegan menu as it sounded really interesting and found it to be absolutely delicious....definitely worth having even if you are not vegan. The Samlor kary was superb and the chocolate lychee desert truly fabulous. Another fabulous meal - great way to end our holiday"

Mudanwan Villa: "Rest & Relax Trip"

Review by: winifredd2016 | Source: Trip Advisor
"A pleasant place to visit if you just wish to relax and not doing anything! Staff are very friendly and food is great. Everything is being provided so a great place to rest and relax! The best way to get there is through the high speed rail to Zuoying Station and take the transport arranged by the hotel which takes 2.5 hours to arrive."

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Brilliant"

Review by: RunningCoua | Source: Trip Advisor
Great place, great staff, great food. The naturalist guides were extremely competent and went way beyond just finding Leopards - though they were great at that too. The tents are comfortable. A really great place to stay.

Flower Island: "Our favourite place in the Philippines"

Review by: Travelforages | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is the perfect place for people like us - wanting to get slightly off the beaten path but with creature comforts such as good water pressure, comfy bed, good food...and most importantly, a beautiful beach with some of the best snorkelling right off the beach we have seen. (...) The snorkelling was incredible - such a beautiful, healthy reef with tons of fish. We were honestly snorkelling 3-4 times a day and it was always different. I am torn as I sort of don't want to tell too many people about this gem of a place but also want to share the experience as this is what we were looking for in the Philippines. Without a doubt the highlight of our trip in terms of places we stayed and we will absolutely go back. Thanks to all the lovely staff as well who made our stay so enjoyable."

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Cozy, lush boutique hotel heaven"

Review by: The_Canadian_Drifter | Source: Trip Advisor
"My wife and I recently stayed for one night and were impressed with Maisons Wat Kor. Situated away from the noisy downtown area, the cosy hotel offers a secluded resort feel that is all about tranquility. You will find a swimming pool and a large, picturesque water Lilly pond. The staff are all smiles and friendly and service is prompt and professional. Strong wi-if is available throughout the property. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were soft and clean. Both a ceiling fan and an air conditioner were available in room. Dinner incorporated a set menu that focused on local Khmer cuisine. Vegetarian options were also available. The food was fresh and high quality although sour soups and lotus root are not really to my liking. My wife's vegetarian selections were found to be very delicious as not a grain of rice was left to waste. Breakfast included a choice between continental and Khmer (ie. noodles). The continental breakfast was basic but satisfying however the better choice is the the noodles with vegetables. Although a short stay, it was very comfortable and we enjoyed all aspects of this boutique hotel. If it is good enough for Angelina Jolie (she stayed recently while filming in Cambodia) than it is good enough for us!"

"We spent two very special days at Muang La and were super impressed with the personal service, attention to detail, glorious cuisine and luxurious accommodation. Jop and his team were fantastic and made sure we had everything we could possibly want. Highly recommend this unique spot to explore some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Northern Laos. Cuca: "Deserves 2 Michelin stars – Outstanding"

Review by: Cbinmore | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a fantastic culinary experience at Cuca. The flavours, textures, aromas and presentation were an impressive mix. The staff were very atentative and their product knowledge was amazing. We sat at the bar watching the Chefs work which brought back memories for me. We liked how different people brought us our dishes - Chefs and our waitress, who explained what we were about to enjoy. As recommended we choose 6 tapas style dishes which was just enough for both of us to feel full and not left hungry. The choice is well balanced and it was difficult to choose which 6 dishes to enjoy, saying that we couldn't resist trying 2 of their desserts too!! We don't normally take dessert but on this occasion we really enjoyed the Bali breakfast and their ice cream dish with 98% coco mass organic chocolate ganash just made for them. Their brigade is headed up by an energetic Canadian Chef called Kevin Cherkas who I would pair with Heston Blumenthal using modern techniques to improve your culinary experience. So we liked it so much we are going to return to enjoy a different 6 dishes and another culinary journey at Cuca. "
