Rachamankha: "Charming Hotel"
This excellent hotel is located in the heart of the old town of Chiang Mai. All major Sightseeing places are in easy walking distance. The restaurant is located in a Patio and the chef is preparing delicious dishes.Tugu Bali: "F A N T A S T I Q U E !"
MAGICAL EFFECT! the first steps in hotel and already you whisper. The atmosphere is harmonious and deeply Balinese The owner, the greatest art collector of Indonesia has furnished hotel rooms of the unique art Tugu is a trip alone. The cuisine is delicate, the prices are right, very caring staff. Every Thursday night, traditional dance (do not miss) you have 1 minute walk to the Batu Bolong beach for those learning to surf, waves in the morning and evening are perfect to do again!Tugu Lombok: "Christmas getaway"
"Excellent service where staff knows your name and you are guaranteed to enjoy the privacy and good food. The place also has tons of art allover as the owner is a collector. Great excursions with knowledgeable guides taking you around. Will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to all my friends."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Charming Boutique Hotel"
Fell in love with this hotel as soon as I arrived and had to sit in the magnificent library for a while to wait until my room was ready. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of Raffles in Singapore. Great attention to detail, superb breakfast, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Loved the pool on top of the residence and had a great meal at the restaurant. Location is superb with close proximity to BTS and other excellent restaurants at Rain Hill.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Great Experience"
Spend 3 nights at a triple room with 2 adults and 2 children. Very spacious and greatly maintained! It provides very special set-up as the last family house of the last mandarin overseas. Wooden rooms arranged with great detail.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Best lodge in Pokhara… if not the whole of Nepal"
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge was by far the best place we stayed in our month long trip to Nepal. Marcus was a fantastic host, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. The lodge itself is beautiful and the view will definitely make you want to outstay your visit!Glenburn Tea Estate: "An outstanding very special place to stay"
This is probably one of the very best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. The location is magical (although be prepared for a very rough road to get there for about the last 40 minutes) and the ambience is particularly special. We could not have been better looked after by the staff who were attentive, efficient and friendly. Meals were quite superb, amongst the very best we had in India. William and Faye are excellent hosts and keep a watchful eye to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. I recommend it very highly indeed.Satri House: "Why weren’t we warned"
"We stayed here specifically to have some R&R after a hectic week touring in Vietnam. The reviews specifically state that this is a quiet retreat full of peace and tranquility. We were aware that we were visiting at the time of New Year celebrations - indeed we thoroughly enjoyed the carnival atmosphere in the town. However we were dismayed to find that our ""quiet"" retreat at Satri House was some 100 metres from a large festival site pumping out very loud house / dance music (noise) all afternoon to at least 19.30. This continued for every day of our stay which ruined our intended relaxation before our move onto Cambodia. Our complaint to the Manager fell on deaf ears and no compensation was offered which we find unacceptable. Such a shame as the Satri House has much to commend it. Front of house reception were excellent as were the rooms and the food. However there is much room for improvement / training required for the dining staff! We would suggest anyone wanting to stay over New Year or at any other times when the site is in use think very carefully before committing to stay here."David’s Kitchen: "Personalized service and excellent food"
My wife and I were able to dine here for my birthday. We enjoyed excellent personalized service during our entire visit. The staff used our names several times during service and the food was excellent. Some of the highlights were the pumpkin soup, rack of lamb, and chocolate souffle. David personally stopped by our table multiple times during the meal to check in with us and chat a bit. With a full restaurant we could tell that David really cared about the people in his restaurant and created a sense of eating at a friends house...if your friend has amazing food!MesaStila: "Colonial charm fantastic place"
Great place to explore central java, borobudur, prambanan etc. Estate build in colonial times is perfect getaaway from the city. Nice touch with heritage style villas. Coffee plantation tour is fun and informative, get freshly ground coffee as well. Nicely nestled amongs the mountains with spectacular views, infinity pool and a massive spa for those who like to indulge. Food is decent with good mix of western and local food. Great coffee cocktails! Service is also very very good extremely friendly staff.
