Reverie Siam: "Little Thai Venice"
Very nice place - Little Thai Venice. We have a beautiful relax day in our trip from Chiang Mai. Fantastic breakfast. Nice bar near the river. Beautiful view of the big white Budha statue and the mountain.Tugu Malang: "Great experience 5 stars hotel"
"So calm and quiet, not busy place. You can choose to relax by swim or just walk around in this hotel. The romantic bed and awsome Java room design, makes you feel like in the Keraton. Very very recomended hotels in Malang "Tugu Bali: "Romantic getaway"
"We were so impressed with everything at Tugu, Bali. Jenny and the team made us so welcome and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The Cultural Evening was an insight into the traditional Balinese culture, the tour of the antiques and artwork around the hotel was really interesting and the romantic bed picnic was a unique dining experience, really memorable. Thanks to all the team for everything. We hope to return soon. Kind regards, Maggie and Kieran Tangerang."Tandjung Sari: "Fantastic"
We stayed in the village bungalows with our two sons. Room was fantastic, hotel exceptional and staff amazing. Well worth the money. Great position in sanur. Beds amazingly comfortable and the feel of the hotel is one of classic old style bali. Truly enjoyed our experience here and will return. We stayed here to enjoy a relaxed couple of days after a demanding tour theough malaysia and Borneo and though we have stayed at some of the fanciest and most luxurios hotels in the world we have to admit that the village house is one of the best accomodations we have stayed at. Sure it isn't a five star hotel with such amenities as flat screen tv's, tennis courts, jacuzzis and sorts but it makes up for it by being charming, romantic and being well taken care of. The house itself is as beautiful as it gets and gives you a 'home' feeling right from the start. You are welcomed by the manager herself and she takes care of your every need. If there is anything just let her know and she will find a way to wirl it out for you. Sort of like a good spirit. The girls are really nice as well and take good care of the facilities. The rooms are very well maintained and will be cleaned up twice daily. The food is (compared to malaysian standards) a bit pricey (but compared to western standards still ok) but soooo worth it! We can barely remember having had better asian food than the local Bidayuh cuisine. True, there isn't much you can do or explore around the village house but if you plan on a relaxing couple of days by the pool, maybe read a book then this is the place to go. My husband still claims its 'the best hotel/b&b i've ever stayed at'. We simply loved it!!Inle Princess Resort: "Wish we could have stayed longer"
The leg rowers skillfully guide your long boat into the dock and you are then transported to serene peaceful surroundings. We were welcomed by the local Burmese cats in the lobby. Magnificent creatures and very friendly. Our mountain view room was everything you could want, right down to the free mini bar. The property is gorgeous, the meals in the restaurant are delicious. Unique breakfast additions on the complimentary buffet. We sat on the decking gazing over the water and watched the sunset which was beautiful. Our next day we indulged in massages by two skillful young ladies which were heaven. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. The only regret we had was not being able to stay a couple more days to really relax and enjoy it.Heritage Suites Hotel: "7 nights with an attentive staff in a lovely property"
The hotel is a bit out of the way but a short tuk tuk ride you are in town. We stayed in the saffron suite. Lovely room, very large, great air conditioning. Staff is very kind and attentive. If you ask for anything they respond quickly. I was ill for a couple of days during my trip and they kept checking on me, asking my wife if I was getting better, bringing extra water to the room. My only complaint was the mattress was not very comfortable. Everything else was perfect.Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Amazing"
Tiger Mountain Lodge is amazing. Though access may be slightly problematic for the less agile such as myself, any efforts are certainly worthwhile. My room (7) had breathtaking views over the mountains and (very kindly ) the weather Gods lifted the clouds enabling the magnificent scene to unfold. Though this reality was obviously outside the control of the lodge management , the friendly and efficient care that was delivered throughout the stay at the lodge. My food requirements are unusual to say the least, but an understanding staff managed to accommodate those peculiarities very efficiently. All aspect of care lived up to or exceeded expectations and Grateful thanks are due to a very efficient team.Talabgaon Castle: "We loved it and we are going back"
"The serenity of Talabgaon Castle took our breath away. The loving attention to detail in the restoration process is apparent. The castle is clearly still a home and as guests we are being welcomed in. We dined outside by the pool, listened to the peacock calls, wandered the grounds and watched the polo ponies exercise. we strolled the village street, bought lacquer bracelets and watched a potter make water jugs. It was a wonderful stay and we are already planning our trip back. "Reverie Siam: "Absolutely Amazing"
This is a hidden gem. Just had cocktails at sunset. Amazing! Staff is overly friendly. You feel like you're at a 5 star resort. If you want to feel like a king, stop by and check it out for a drink. And if you have the budget, stay here!Travel Asia with Secret Retreats
