4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Magical"

"Our first view of the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge from our boat was amazing and magical and this was only the start of a most wonderful few days staying in our luxurious floating tent with our own Sundeck and steps down to the river where we enjoyed marvellous swimming. The views in both directions along the river, over to the island and across the forest to the hills were glorious. The dining experience sitting eating wonderful food and enjoying the views over the river from the open sides of the dining room was truly memorable and the friendly and most efficient and helpful staff made our few days in this haven of peace, tranquility and beauty an experience we will never forget Shelley and Stephen Ralph"

The Twelve Hotel: "Absolute ruhe Oase"

"Das allerbeste an diesem Hotel ist der überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Service. Das Frühstück war à la carte, alles frisch zubereitet, war richtig lecker. Ebenfalls wurden uns vorschläge gemacht was wir in Bangkok besichtigen können, und natürlich auch erklärt wie wir am besten dort hin kommen. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag in Bangkok haben wir es richtig genossen nach der Rückkehr ins Hotel in den Pool zu springen und uns auf den Liegen zu entspannen. Dieses Hotel ist eine richtige ruhe Oase im Trouble von Bangkok."

The River Resort: "Paradis"

"Lorsque l'on arrive dans la region de Champasak et que l'on cherche un hotel deux possibilités s'offrent dont la folie lodge. Au vue des avis nous avons ete incapable de choisir et avons été aux deux qui sont presque face a face. Arrivé au river resort par taxi depuis Pakse accueil agréable. Belle chambre avec vue dur le Mekong. Chambres modernes et clean . Tres bonne literie. Belles piscines (2) avec vue sur la Meckong un peu froide et manquant de profondeur. Petit déjeuner et repas parfait ! Cuisinière excellente et service Restauant parfait. Organisation excursion wat phu bien prix correct ( loc de tuktuk) Rien de plus a dire un très bel hôtel dans un beau cadre. Beau lever de soleil de ce cote du Meckong !"

Villa Song Saigon: "Charming Hotel"

"We spent 3 x nights in Villa Song last week and were fortunate enough to be upgraded for the last two. The new bedroom was absolutely stunning at the top of the building with an enormous bed and a beautiful view over the river. The staff were delightful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Villa Song is situated in a stunning setting right on the river in popular District 2 - and very quiet. It is the most perfect hotel to relax in after touring round Vietnam. There is a fantastic complimentary speed boat service that goes to and from the city hourly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - it is the most ideal place to stay in Saigon Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

THE ISLAND LODGE: "The one that the Mekong Delta has been waiting for"

"The big bridge in My Tho opened the island of Thoi Soi to the world 8 years ago. Michel and Francoise has build a sanctuary at the end of this island. This should give the comfort and care to travellers to the Mekong Delta. Owners are very responsive and timely in their email correspondence making pre arranging things very smooth. The Island Lodge can arrange for pick up and drop off in Saigon. The two hour journey is pretty easy and brought us to The Island Lodge in good time. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too difficult. The pool and breakfast are amazing it's almost feels like you are in someone's house as a guest. Be warned the property is isolated and My Tho is accessible by boat or car (both can be arranged with Michel). Ton their in house driver is wonderful and speaks good English. Nice to have a cheerful driver taking us on the linger journeys. The local river, bicycle and floating markets are all activities if you care to leave the property, otherwise we relaxed by the pool and had some wonderful dinners in the main restaurant. Food options are French or Asian with an excellent wine selection. We can't wait to return. "

Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Nice experience"

If you want a "local living" experience, this hanok is really nice. You sleep on a mattress on the floor, traditional style. They serve a traditional Korean-style dinner every evening, as well as breakfast every morning. The only downsides: there is really no classic staff like in a bigger hotel, only a caretaker who changes the sheets and cooks the food, and both of the women who were working there during my stay didn't speak a word of English, so if you are looking for recommendations or for someone to call you a taxi, it might be difficult.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful place to stay"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night holiday stay at the Blue Mansion. The place is just beautiful and steeped in history. Our 'Scholar' room was spacious and secluded although the food court noise from next door is very loud at night. Earplugs provided by the hotel fixed it to some extent, but book a room on the other side if wanting an early night! The mansion is ideally located close to food outlets, markets and it's walking distance to the Fort and other historic attractions. Pool area was small but ideal at the end of hot days. Indigo restaurant on site was a pure delight. Breakfast was interesting - try the duck and noodles for a treat! Room service drinks were reasonably priced and staff were very helpful and friendly. The biscuits and rice cake surprises in the room each day, with a hand-written greeting on a leaf, were an additional delightful touch. We loved our stay here. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Song Saigon: "Outstanding"

"I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful place! The staff provide exceptional service and the restaurant provdes top quality food. The speedboat into HCM is a great touch and suggest you take advantage of it. We will certainly return."

4 rivers: "A Perfect Romantic Getaway"

"We travelled overseas for the first time and we are anxious and excited of what we're going to see. We visited Siem Reap first and then the amazing 4Rivers Floating Lodge. It was a genius idea on how it was built and Anna's dedication in preserving the river and the surroundings of Tatai is just magnificent! A perfect destination for couples. Lovely view of nature, high-class accommodation, an efficient booking system, and the warmth and hospitality is very much felt and experienced. I have to give a special shout out to the kitchen staff because I could not even find the right word to describe how delicious their food is! Beef Loklak is extraordinarily tasty, and even the simple fried rice is sumptuous! How can you not enjoy your vacation when your tummy is happy? Just as expected, 4Rivers is beautiful and would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. "

Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A beautiful and serene resort for peace- and nature-loving travelers"

"We just returned from a 4-nights stay at the beautiful Rice & Zen resort in Doi Saket district, which is no more than 30km away from the Chiang Mai international airport. Our host, Michael, who is also a resident on the resort is very welcoming and warm. We could see that he runs this resort with great passion and drive. The property is extremely lovely. We booked the entire property for our family of 4, and we practically had the entire place to ourselves! The rooms were clean daily and well maintained, with the usual amenities expected of any upmarket resort. The only swimming pool on the resort is cleaned every morning and it feels so good to be able to dip into the pool to beat the tropical heat. And if swimming is not your cup of tea, there's always the gym and beautifully manicured garden and ponds to keep you occupied. Delicious meals are prepared and served by Maya, the resident chef. And if you're into Thai cuisine, the food is no less than scrumptious than what you can find in the restaurants. Michael and his staff will be most happy to recommend other restaurants in the vicinity should you want to venture out to try other fares. Trips to Chiang Mai city can also be arranged for a small transportation fee. Overall, we had a most pleasant and relaxing stay and we highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan city life."
