Locavore: "Birthday dinner"
Me and my wife loved the experience there and just how creative they were with the menu! Recommend it for a special eveningNeeleshwar Hermitage: "Final leg of India tour"
This eco resort is a gem. We've spent two weeks touring Rajasthan and came here for some r&r at the end of the trip. Our bungalow is gorgeous, iPod dock with Bose speakers so we've listened to a lovely bit of jazz every evening before dinner. Enjoyed sunsets, swimming in the sea, watching fishermen and eating fabulous food. We've found prices here to be very reasonable and the resort has a lovely shop which is very good value. Staff can't do enough to make your stay more enjoyable so have made the effort, for once, to give them an excellent review on Trip advisor.Les Maisons d’Itac: "Quiet retreat in top notch accomodations"
My wife and I spent 6 nights at Maison D'Itac in the lovely Bamboo room. We took a Ceres line aircon bus (105 pesos per person) from Cebu City and arrived 3 hours later. Bryon picked us up in Ronda, the nearest city - about 5 minutes from the Maison. Bryon and his staff were excellent during our stay and we enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing time there. We even got to a wonderful pig roasted lunch that Bryon provided in a celebration of the baptism of his baby boy. and the daily breakfast is quite filling wo we ended up eating only one more meal (dinner) each day. We rented a motor bike in Moalboal (15 minutes away) as local transportation is limited. We enjoyed several nice dinners in Panagsama Beach, a divers resort area, as well as a day snorkeling, another day canyoning, and one day at the White beach. The area is somewhat laid back and not highly developed yet. It is a wonderful area to hang out and enjoy warm waters, warm days and nights. We were there in December and the temperatures were perfect, sunny days with a mild wind everyday.MesaStila: "Must-stay resort in Central Java"
The title says it all: if you travel in, or through, Central Java, you must stay in MesaStila. The resort is beautifully set in a historic coffee plantation in Java's highlands. Expect complete tranquility and Javanese hospitality. The villas are set along gentle slopes within the plantation and nature is never more than a few meters away. The villas have been carefully (re) built in local style and are quite spacious. The various common areas are spread across the property and make for a spacious, tranquil ambiance. Service is highly attentive and yet not intrusive. Last but not least, don't miss out on the spa!tugu malang: "My brother’s wedding"
"Ok, first review for lodging I've ever written. First of all, this place is amazing I would highly recommend anybody visiting Malang to come here. The accommodations are first class the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Just to mention a few....Dina, Lina, Niluh, Jhon, Nita, Sigit, Hernawan, Wawan, Budi, Yidi, Novi, & Eko all represent this gracious Indonesian culture in the most professional way. Thank you for putting up with the crazy Americans, we will miss you ALL!!!!! CST & Family! "Satri House: "A jewel"
Lovely colonial property with modern facilities. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Interesting rooms and common areas with beautiful antiques. Nice pool and garden, which makes this a perfect oasis to relax. Excellent food, too.Maison Polanka: "Refined, authentic, peaceful boutique hotel"
"Amazing stay at Maison Polanka. You step into a luxurious garden and a heaven of tranquility here. Everything is done to make you feel welcome; from the unpretentious French owners and their insights on the local life to the kind and attentive staff. The room (actually a fully detached house with a private outdoor living room) is decorated with incredible style. The food is worthy of any great restaurant in town. They helped us book experienced guides to visit the temples and had a Tuk tuk on stand-by for all our trips. A must stay place to visit the area! Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "best ever ressourcing"
"truly best ever cool place for the one looking for true nature, calm, meditation, relaxation and especially ressourcing. the whole staff is so nice and looking after you for the best from pick up service to satisfy as much as posible any of your needs Food is very fine considering this remote area with difficult supplies and in large portion to satisfy even big eaters, great wine list as well to enjoy !!!! Remarquable comfort of the tents surely hard to maintain in such surroundings Rare experience to be renewed for sure thanks again to everyone in 4 rivers for such experience and wonderfull stay"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A piece of heaven"
"This is my second visit to Neeleshwar Hermitage and by the looks of it won't be my last. The weather was perfect and the hospitality was perfect and thoughtful. Check in was smooth - they even kept the restaurant open past its timings for my arrival which was very thoughtful of them. Libin and Sharath at the restaurant were very good. The food on the first day was fabulous (some great grilled fish and prawn curry). On the rest of the days it was just ok though the breakfast was very good. I also really enjoyed my morning coffee on the veranda. The pool is perfect, there were no intrusions and my request for drinks were quickly attended to. The cottage room is big and comfortable and i got some well deserved rest. The only disappointment was that the restaurant by the beach was closed because of the monsoons, though I must say their main restaurant is beautifully done up. The resort itself is very beautiful with views of the crashing waves of the ocean. Overall it is a great place to get some rest and get away from hectic schedules. The staff go way out of their way to make you comfortable without being intrusive in any manner. I really appreciated the efforts they put in to make sure I had a good holiday and I was very impressed. My sincere thanks to them all. My only recommendation is that more boards be put up on the main road so that the resort is easier to locate. The resort is 2.5 hours from Mangalore airport which is quite a ride. As a tip i would recommend that guests call up the resort for their bookings and you might get a great deal like i did! A slice of heaven on earth -not to be missed for those looking for a relaxing holiday! https://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g1809068-d1204939-r382338334-Neeleshwar_Hermitage-Kasaragod_Kerala.html#"Maduzi Hotel: "A hidden gem – excellent in its way"
"This is a beautiful place, hidden next to the Exchange Tower. The location is quite convenient with walking distance to nearby shopping mall and the train station. We were greeted by friendly and staff members with an attitude of ever wanting to help, so the check in process was easy. The rooms were big and great. Extremely large bed and comfortable bed. It is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend this place and would certainly book again if I were to go to Bangkok. Stayed April 2017, traveled with friends"
