Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "What a great experience"
"I spend 3 nights at this beautiful Hanok and it was an amazing experience ! Rakkojae is in the hearth of Bukchon, in a very quiet alley. But still, its in the centre of Seoul, Anguk Subway Station is just 5 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants, sights, shops etc. are in easy walking distance (...) Dinner and breakfast are included, and are traditional and very tasty. You can also have a continental breakfast with toast and eggs if you prefer. Korean breakfast was with smoked fish (very tasty), abalone porridge (tasty, but a bit too excotic for me as a breakfast dish) and I was glad that on the third morning (I had continental breakfast on the second morning) there was a tasty soup instead of the porridge. The ladies who run Rakkojae are very friendly. I tried the Mud Sauna on the 3rd night and liked it a lot (so I wish I had tried it on the first night already). Overall, I loved it at Rakkojae, and can only recommend it. Its an amazing and beautiful place, that words can really describe. You have to go there and experience it yourself. And if you can, stay for at least 2 nights."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Once in a lifetime experience"
We only had one night at the camp but the experience will never be forgotten. The entire family loved it. The tents are basic enough to feel like you are properly camping but very comfortable (lighting, proper beds, camp shower, proper loos etc.). The staff are absolutely amazing - they really understand service and are completely focused on ensuring you have a good time from the moment you arrive. We did two game drives, 3 hours each, one in the evening and one (very) early in the morning. Both were fun and informative (enough to keep a 10 year old and 13 year old engaged) but the morning one was the highlight. We spotted a leopard and sat and watched it for 5 minutes as it walked right past our car. The food at the cap is truly fantastic. eating outside under the stars with other guests and telling tales of our safari was a real highlight. Danu was out guide and a complete professional. He knew every plant, bird and animal and was full of interesting information. The kids loved him. They run a really good operation, leopards cant be guaranteed but you will not be disappointedMaison Polanka: "Totally great"
We were bowled over by our stay at Hotel Polanka. The staff are unfailingly helpful - and go out of their way to provide the little touches that makes the hotel feel sooo luxurious. Would 100% recommend it - it's a 10 minute bike ride to town (bikes provided) or tuk tuk about the same. 20-25 minutes to the temples. 20-25 mins to the airport. All incredibly easy and beautifully done. Thank you!MAISONS WAT KOR: "Relax and enjoy"
Spacious Cambodian style rooms with excellent amenities set in lush tropical gardens. Staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town, but no problems with arranging transport. Nice pool. Good breakfast. Nice to sit out on the balcony of the room and enjoy the setting.Locavore: "good ambience. innovatively tasty"
had the vegetarian option. was bowled over by the like of hibiscus flower and forest ferns. Hadnt expected them to be tasty! Also enjoyed the complimentary pre-main-event "appetizers" which filled me!Slow Villas and Spa: "Perfect Stay for Honeymoon!"
"Beautiful Private Villa with with Private Pool My husband and I have a honeymoon staycation in this villa, and we loved it so much. It's located not too far away from the beach, but enough distance to stay away from the crowd. So it’s very perfect for honeymon. We've got a very beautiful spacey villa with a private pool and very spacey backyard. We stay at Villa Number 1. With beautiful interior and big bed, also we love the open bathroom so much! We Love the Eco Concept Slow Villas is very eco-friendly, we’ve got our own bottle for drink and we can bring it outside, wether for dinner outside or beach time. We can also refill it everytime, we don’t need to buy extra water. We’ve got our own kitchen with complete utensil, so you can stay all day long at the villa. And we’ve got yoga matt, which I never found on another villa/hotel, we can join the free yoga clas everyday at ten in the morning. The Best Breakfast! Because Slow VIlla doesn’t have restaurants, they will serve the breakfast at our villa, which you can choose from English themed-breakfast to Australia to America. It’s very delicious. We enjoy it on our table beside the pool. Photogenic Villas As a travel writer and enthusiast, I love taking pictures of anything. And I love every side of our villa. It's beautiful and we made a lot of beautiful pictures. lol! Best Services The staffs were very nice, also we can rent the bicycle anytime. Room Tip: It's perfect, don't forget to buy food or vegetables, you can cook it on your own kitchen!"The Apsara Rive Droite: ""
Superb lunch sat with gorgeous view over Nan Khan river. Quiet street away from the busy old town. Beautiful presentation, fresh unusual flavours without too much added spice. We tried the yellow pumpkin, eggplant, bamboo, green bean curry- wonderful. Also lemongrass and coriander fishcakes on cucumber salad. Delicious.Cuca: "A must visit for dining in Bali!"
A big shout out to Chef Kevin Cherkas and his brilliant team! Had the privilege to watch them in action from the Food Bar as they prepared each dish from the Tasting Menu with utmost passion. Every single bite was wonderful and absolutely satisfying. A must visit when you’re in Bali!Slow Villas and Spa: "Amazing and relaxing stay"
"Slow Private Pool Villas was amazing. Service is stupendous from our luggage to in villa breakfast. Loved our stay. We were relaxed and didn't want to leave our villa. They offer to do everything for you including ordering food to their bike rentals onsite. The spa is amazing! Well worth it. We ended up doing a 2.5 hour massage and facial and it was glorious. Everything was very relaxing. The only thing I would recommend would be their manicure service. They did my manicure right out there in the front lobby of the spa. There is no dedicated / relaxing room used for the manicures so that was a bummer. Another con is that it's not as close to the beach as other accommodations. It's about a 10 min walk but being far from the beach has its advantages to a peaceful getaway. Room is fabulous. Outdoor showers which are amazing. Decor is lovely. Bed faces the outdoor pool. Large sliding doors that you can open all the way so that it feels as if the bedroom is one with the outdoor pool. Otherwise, lovely stay. We would come back! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Tugu Bali: "The perfect place"
What else? People, location, food and giant cosy room + pool are amazing. Everything is within walking distance and you are right in front of the beach, great for sunbathing, swimming and surfing. The Japanese restaurant Ji along with the hotel is absolutely delicious. Don't look any further, this will make your stay in Bali unforgettable and Canggu is definitely THE best area to enjoy the balinese lifestyle and Art of Living
