Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Excellent"
A great break away from the city, just 1 hour cocktail cruise on a nice small cruise with great service can leave you very refreshed and love Bangkok even more!Rachamankha: "A most enjoyable stay."
"I spent four nights here recently with my wife, son and his girlfriend. We had two deluxe rooms next to each other, but not adjoining. The hotel and it's staff were superb with a ""special mention"" for Paul Walker, the General Manager who could not have been more helpful and charming. The atmosphere is calm and serene, as is the Chinese inspired architecture, and is totally conducive to relaxation which, in our case, is exactly what was needed. The location is in the old city, but a short Tuk Tuk ride from the Night Bazaar and Worouot market. I would not hesitate the Rachamankha to anyone considering it."Yandabo Home: "takes your breath away"
"when u travel frequently and to many places, u become immune to surprises in hotels..and then something like the yandabo home comes your way..and just blows you away..the product is impeccable..in design, materials and extreme good taste..the location is exceptional..on a bend of a large river..the high roofs..the glass roof light in the shower...and the service and food are great..not to mention the enthusiasm with which the staff takes u around a remarkable remote village of skilled potters..ideal for what is increasingly rare in international travel..a look at the skills of artisans in a genuine surrounding.. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Rachamankha: "A super oasis of calm in Chiang Mai"
"A proper oasis in the old town of Chiang Mai. It is really beautiful and immaculately maintained - not a leaf or petal out of place. We had a standard room which was fine - spacious and with a lovely large bed. The shower was walk-in and big enough for my husband to use without complaints. The shower has hot, cold, on or off - it was fantastic and extremely strong! There was plenty of free drinking water and for the staff, nothing was too much trouble, at all. The pool area is lovely and while we were there, they replaced the sun beds which were much better! We ate in the restaurant the first night as we got a bit lost when we wandered out of the hotel. It was great - I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. There is a nice selection of both thai and western dishes on the menu and we went for the Thai ones which were very good. Breakfast was amazing. The white table clothed tables were set up in the courtyard and used the beautiful 'antique' crockery. As ever, the service was impeccable. As well as a small buffet there was the choice of a variety of hot dishes, all included in the price. The only downside was the internet - I know that a lot has been said about this and as one reviewer stated, if you want to get away from it all then great, some of us don't have that luxury and I need to check in (home and work) at least once a day. The internet is deeply frustrating and I almost knocked off a star. If the management are reading this PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE INTERNET! Overall a super hotel that we would not hesitate to return to."Le Passe-Temps: "A gem, timeless, perfect for a honeymoon"
The Pastime is our great discovery this year. Cozy, well located, with stunning views over the bay of Krabi, we were more than happy with my husband to a stage at Olivier and Kiet, the owners of Hobby, for a few days during our honeymoon. Their welcome was exemplary and friendly, the rooms are decorated with taste, the food is delicious and the proposed activities are varied, reasonably priced. The place is suitable also for great encounters with other travelers around an evening cocktail. In short, a little paradise that it was very difficult to leave! One thing is sure, if we go back to Thailand, we will not fail to iron home ..Villa Mathis: "Amazing stay"
After staying at Villa Mathis and having one of those great amazing trips we would definitely recommend other people to stay there. the staff are really well trained and friendly, the accommodations are luxurious and the architecture is typical for Bali making it an immersive stay and keeps you close to the Bali culture.muang la: "What a wonderful oasis"
"Visited very briefly during an extended planned trip and had to be dragged away otherwise we would have quite happily stayed for a lot longer!! Staff couldn't have been more attentive or friendly and every little detail had been thought through thoroughly to make you feel special. Thoroughly recommended"Kenanga Hotel: "Best hotel we stayed in during our Indonesian visit"
"The Kenanga Boutique Hotel was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week journey to Indonesia. The service was excellent, the rooms clean and the view was extraordinary. The restaurant Terra Cotta has excellent food, if you tasted the food here there is no reason for you to go out for food in Ubud. The hotel offers an hourly shuttle bus to Ubud (15min). Also try the cycling tour, this very nice tour guides you through the real Bali. They pick you up around 8:30 and you make a downhill tour with max 6 people. Breakfast is complementary but you can better take the hotel's breakfast as it is wonderful. We would definitely recommend this hotel is you would visit Ubud."Summertime Villa: "Beautiful Villa, Great Location"
"The villa is absolutely fantastic in terms of decor and amenities. Designed and built by the owners, every artifact in the house has been very carefully selected. It's a a beautiful home best experienced personally as no pictures can do justice to the beauty of the place. It's managed very professionally with very accomodating staff. The location though is the best part, just off main Calangute road with easy access to beaches, restaurants and other fun activities. Kudos to the owner Hans, who is an extremely warm person and knows a lot about hospitality and how to keep his guests comfortable."Talabgaon Castle: "Unreal Experience"
"My wife and I recently visited this resort on our trip from San Francisco and could not have been happier with our stay. It is a beautiful property and the staff could not have been more hospitable. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the food was fantastic. We stopped here for a night in between Agra and Jaipur. It is in the countryside so it is a very tranquil and peaceful setting when compared to the city. We were treated like royalty at this 200+ year old castle that was recently restored to this beautiful resort. The resort sits on 100 acres with expansive lawns, a pool, gardens, and a polo field. It is a perfect place to spend a night or two to unwind and get way from the hustle and bustle of India. 5+ stars across the board. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
