The Cabochon Hotel: "Wonderful experience"
A great hideaway just off Sukhumvit with a beautifully curated experience full of curiosities, each room filled for a quiet browse. The things you discover. A step back into a indochin residence, sit back, with a cocktail or two, turn off the phone and relax before you venture out. Great warm and welcoming service, thank you. Very easy to recommend. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Romantic Nighttime Dining"
"We enjoyed this restaurant so much we ate there twice. The setting is pretty amazing, with colorful paper lanterns over an outdoor terrace overlooking the Nam Khan River. Even though there was a road between the terrace and the kitchen, it is very quiet and I didn't even notice any traffic during our meal. The food itself was amazingly good, especially the coriander fish cakes. Stayed November 2016, traveled as a couple"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Breathtaking views & impeccable service"
"Walking up the stairs, with Fishtail right in front of you is a great introduction to your stay. The service is exceptional, matched by the quality of the rooms and the views! We did a walk through the village, with out great guide, who was able to give us very interesting insights. An all round amazing experience, would highly recommend."David’s Kitchen: "To celebrate my 50th birthday"
The food was excellent from starter through to desserts. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The owner (David) walked around every table talking to the guests which was a nice touch. The restaurant was very popular on the night we went so the atmosphere was great. We stayed in Chiang Mai for 4 nights and this was the best food and atmosphere by far. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.Hotel Tugu Bali: "hidden gem in plain sight"
"i am a vintage girl when it come to property, and i already known tugu as one of the heritage hotels in Indonesia. Never visit the other site tho, but the brand is all about antique and vintage Javanese set up in my mind. And the one in Bali for sure was stunning set up. With all old Javanese furniture in lashes green surrounding. As now, the area is becoming upscale and trendy and hip area, Tugu hotel is seriously get away from modern and chic neighborhood in just steps away. If you like vintage hotel, this is THE one."David’s Kitchen: "Fantastic meal and service"
"Myself and two friends visited David's kitchen on a Saturday night, we did not have a reservation but David was very happy to accommodate us. He took the time to ask us about our trip and what our plans were, while also giving us advice on other attractions and bars in the area. The food and service was amazing, the best we've eaten on our trip. The staff regulately enquired as to whether we needed anything. The chocolate souffle an tiramisu were the best we've ever had. The staff were all kind and attentive, really setting the experience apart. The personal touches and attentions really made a difference and added to a wonderful evening."Villa Song Saigon: "More luxurious after renovation"
It's been awhile since I stayed at Villa Song Saigon. I was surprised to see that the place has become even better after the recent renovation. The restaurant looks better and the new menu is even more gastronomic than the previous menu. It is really worth checking it out again. The staff continue to be accommodating and nice as always.muang la: "A piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere!"
"After a rough first week of travelling and very cold weather, we were thrilled to spend a couple of nights here. Gorgeous room, with HEATERS and hot water bottles, tastefully decorated, lovely bathrooms, with home grown bathsalts. The setting is delightful, on the river, and the infinity pool on its own island was a good place to unwind with a book when the sun comes out. All the little hidey holes have access to drinks and snacks and service is never far away. The spa itself, with the two huge hot spring-fed pools are elevated so you have a view of the surrounding countryside and are a panacea for weary limbs, and the massage sets you up for the next part of the journey! The five course dinner is light and carefully crafted, full of flavour, and the cocktails inventive and yummy. Little braziers kept us warm while we ate, and a large boma-type fireplace was comforting for an aperitif. We had a long walk on our free day round the local Khamu village, and enjoyed seeing village life at a slow pace, the pace it is lived. Excursions can be arranged to nearby hill tribes, but we didn't know about that. Even though the local staff dont speak much English it is good to see the management trying to give back other local community by providing jobs and an enhanced local spa for the village. I can't rate this place highly enough "The Island Lodge: "Great little boutique hotel"
This was a great choice to stay before and after a river cruise on the mekong delta. The place was cozy with all you need: quality restaurant, spa and the most friendly and service-oriented staff. The place is tucked away pretty good so you want to have the driver pick you off at the airport.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Dinner at the Blue Mansion- Wonderful"
"The menu and service was superb! The place is quiet and full of character. My father had difficult to manage the stairs to get up to the restaurant, so the managers arranged for us to have dinner downstairs. we were served hand and foot by our incredibily humber and eager to serve waiter Imran, who was both polite, discrete. I don't recall the last time we had such wonderful service, Imran was great! My father who is very high maintenance, even complimented Imran and said, its wonderful to be served by someone who understands the etiquette of the table. When we were leaving, we shocked by Imrans humility when after running up and down the stairs all evening and attending to our every need, said ""please forgive me if I made any mistake serving you tonight! Fine dining and fine service with an excellent menu and a place full of character! Stayed December 2016, traveled with family"
